Für diesen Preis hätte ich mehr Sauberkeit erwartet. Salamistück auf dem Teppich, Haare im Handtuch und auf dem Bett. Teppich unmöglich. Penetranter Raumduft, nicht sehr angenehm, im Zimmer ok.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Not my first stay. Overall, its quaint little hotel made all the better by fantastic, friendly staff. Loved the beds - so comfy. I didn't want to get up!! Each room has its own personality - not the corporate sameness of the chains.
This time coincided with a little renovation that they're doing so the bar and restaurant was not quite as appealing or charming as my last time as things move about but it didnt impact negatively.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend/ Seitenstraße. Der Bahnhof und das daran angrenzende, überwachte Parkhaus sind in 3 min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Parken 30 Euro die Nacht. Das Hotel ist sehr ausgefallen und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück mit Liebe zubereitet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Für Leute mit Handikap… kein Aufzug vorhanden.

Bed was beetje hard en kussens waren niet fijn.

The complimentary coffee & tea bar downstairs was a great bonus and so well stocks with lots of options for any time of the day. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to everyone we know!!

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Mooi ingericht hotel. De ligging is goed en de medewerkers zijn vriendelijk. Dat bar restaurant zo lang open is is prettig en ontbijtje was smorgens prima.
Ik vond de kamer een beetje donker en beetje gedateerd. Het heeft in mijn ogen wel weer een kleine vernieuwing nodig.

It’s an odd room configuration- shower with glass right next to the bed. The lighting isn’t great either. It was hard to put in makeup in the morning without a proper lighting.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026I recently stayed here for 3 nights during the recent heatwave. Yay for the good aircon and friendly staff! The elegant, dramatic styling of the room really appealed to me, along with the incense-like fragrance in the hallways. We loved it. Location is fantastic - seems like a highly desirable area plus it's 1 minute to the station which is handy for day trips and getting to the airport. At the same time you're about 5 minutes walk from the heart of the old town. We did not eat any meals there so I can't comment on that, but the free tea/ coffee machine was fabulous. The vegan hot chocolate was delicious. Thank to to the staff for letting me store my suitcase there until the room was ready and for bringing it up to my room for me - a welcome touch. Staff were friendly and helpful. I found myself leaving through the brochure for other QL hotels I could stay in so that shows you how much I liked my stay in Boutiquehotel Staats.

Sounds from downstairs cocktail bar could be heard inside our room; we were not very troubled by it but can imagine early sleepers might be unimpressed. Price was way too high, which might have been a dynamic pricing thing.

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers sowie des gesamten Hotels ist außergewöhnlich, weit entfernt vom üblichen 08/15 Mainstream. Es liegt in einer total ruhigen Nebenstraße, trotzdem ist die Innenstadt von Haarlem fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Einziger Minuspunkt ist die Parksituation - eine Nacht im nahen Parkhaus kostet €30. Völlig überzogen. An der Straße zu parken ist weitaus teurer.

Very clean throughout. Breakfast buffet was excellent with many fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, crepes, etc.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026De prachtige kamer met daar ook een mooi chocolaatje als extraatje. Dat je gratis koffie (cappuccino/espresso etc) en thee (verse munt/gember/theezakjes) kon pakken in de living room / restaurant/cafe-gedeelte alsook wat lekkers e.d. Dat heb ik nog niet eerder meegemaakt en verraste mij echt. Een heel gastvrij gevoel geeft dat, heel relaxed ook.
De kussens waren echt heel hard en vol. Het zou nog fijner zijn als ze ook zachtere kussens aanbieden. Nu wilde ik dan maar zonder kussens slapen (buikslaper), maar het matras was daarvoor ook te hard (terwijl het verder best een zacht matras was, maar de buitenkant was wat hard). Dus heb helaas niet zo goed geslapen.

No on-site parking, parking is a short 5 minute walk at the train station and not discounted for hotel guests. You can book online in advance, however you need a number plate which does not work when renting a car as you do not know the number plate until collection. By the time we collected the car all the online discounted spaces were sold out and therefore we ended up paying a standard daily rate at the parking location.

Reviewed May 25, 2026De heerlijke suite met een bad en een douche, leuk zitje en grote bedden. Het ontbijt met ruime keuze en lekkere smoothies. Het hotel is centraal gelegen, die bij het centrum en dicht bij het station. Een mooie uitvalsbasis dus!
Het licht met bewegingsmelder bij de entree van de kamer. Dit licht reageert ook als je 's nachts naar de WC gaat.
