Reviewed Dec 2, 2025THE APARTMENTS ACCOMMODATED ALL OF US AS A LARGE GROUP. LIKED THAT WE ALL HAD OUR OWN SPACES AND THE BRAAI AREA. The rooms and everything looked like the pictures.
The one room had no aircon and got very hot with the morning sun. The pool pump was switched off, leaving the pool a bit dirty, so we didnt use it.The one apartment shower was a bit awkward as the showee head is in the middle. The rules stated that no noise at 10pm, and it was extremely loud.

Daar was nie melk vir koffie nie,geen tee opsie nie,die stort het ook nie n rak gehad om jou stort goedjies op te sit nie moes jou goedjies als opi vloer sit.geen 2 plaat stoof of pan om iets te maak nie ook geen braaibak as ons weer sou wou bespreek vir langer en ook geen xtra warm komberse in die kaste nie. Verder was ons gelukkig om n goeie nag se rus te kry het veilig gevoel.

Reviewed Apr 15, 2025Very neat ,practical with a great countryside feel to it.Enjoyed the swimming pool,braai area as well as the recommended restaurants to choose from.
At times when using the kettle for coffee,it would switch off prematurely.We unplugged the fridge in order to get it to reach boiling point.Aircon was also off to minimize the amount of appliances and it's demand.This did not affect the great stay though.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2025The facilties were neat and tidy, and the host was very friendly. Good communication with guests. She also upgraded my room with no extra charge due to a cancellation. Kids loved the clean swimming pool, and the place was perfect for me and my family. I will definitely book at 21 on Karoo when I visit Oudtshoorn again and surely recommend this place to people.

Reviewed May 6, 2024The host was very friendly and accommodating. She gave us permission to stay way past the checkout time. There is a very nice braai next to the pool, it was nice to hang out there. The room was also much bigger than we expected. The location is great.
There is only a door between the reception area and one of the rooms, so when someone enters the reception area, you hear everything, especially when it is at 2 in the morning. The smoking area was just below our bedroom window, we could smell the smoke coming through the window and hear the conversation he was having on the phone loud and clear. We were also woken at 00:30 from loud music coming from the house.

There was no proper stove and oven. Some housekeeping services, no replacement of toilet paper and changing of dirt bins. We had to ask where we had to put our dirt.
