Reviewed Jan 4, 2026Everything about Feng Mao Lin Zhi was exceptional: it is a beautifully restored, unique and historic house, filled with interesting details. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and varied, the the owner was extremely helpful arranging a tour for us. In addition, the restaurant that he suggested for dinner nearby was great two nights in a row. In short, it is great value for money and we had a perfect stay!

The host, Mr. Tsai, was exceptionally generous and attentive, offering thoughtful assistance throughout our visit. We really appreciate Kinmen for its wartime legacy and traditional charm, and this property stands as compelling evidence of the island’s enduring beauty and cultural richness.

The owner, Mr. Cai, was very nice and helpful (booked us a taxi guide, took us to a nearby hiking spot as he was headed to do some shopping). It helped a lot that I speak Mandarin, but he has guests from everywhere (Japan, Australia, NZ, HK) so he does well with everyone.
The breakfast wasn’t quite as elaborate as the pictures on the site, and it was a little hard for our first taxi driver to find because of road repair and the winding alleys, but she called the owner and we found it once he came out to greet us.

Reviewed Jan 14, 2018老闆很熱情，仔細的為了介紹這一個古屋改建的民宿的歷史沿革，也歡迎房客去參觀莊園的其它空間的歷史軌跡，來此感覺不只是住宿，而有走入歷史尋古的情懷。而房間內部明亮乾淨，住得舒服，有一個小小的餐室，隨時提供點心與咖啡，早餐簡單卻也美味。
