The White House Boutique Bed & Breakfast

From the moment I saw and read about this B&B, I knew I wanted to stay there. The rooms are gorgeous and large. Sonny and his wife were wonderful. They go out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They made sure we always knew how to get to our destinations. The breakfasts were above and beyond exceptional. I would recommend them without hesitation. And as a side note, their location was very convenient to everything. Most of all, they are so nice!

Sonny and Judy were THE perfect hosts! The rooms were spacious and immaculately cleaned, all amenities and details were thought of! Sonny has unbelievable knowledge of the area, and will tell you all the hidden (non tourist) gems. Judy works her magic in the kitchen turning out absolutely delicious breakfasts! They are thoughtful to inquire of any food allergies and general preferences of their guest when it comes to food. The kindest people you’d ever meet!

We have been staying here for a few years now and since the moment we arrived the very first time, we knew we had found something special. But what has truly made our stays exceptional are the hosts. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the Niagara region, they give us insider tips we never would have found on our own. From the best local wineries to hidden gems off the beaten path, their recommendations made our trips unforgettable. If you're planning a visit to Niagara and want something far more personal and memorable than a hotel, do yourself a favor and stay here. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Two friends and I had thee most wonderful girls getaway at Niagara-on-the-Lake. The highlight was staying at The White House Boutique B & B. Sonny was the ultimate host - so friendly and welcoming + Judy's delicious breakfast made for a memorable stay. The White House is lovely and Sonny's flowers are spectacular. This place is top notch!!!

Sonny and Judy were very gracious hosts. They got to know us. They helped us plan our daily itinerary; they provided much local insider information that made our day run smoothly.

We were fortunate to have stayed at The White House Boutique Bed & Breakfast in Niagara-on-The Lake, for 3 nights: July 6 - 9 2025 and had an absolutely fabulous experience. The proprietors, Sonny and Judy extended a very warm welcome and made us feel right at home from the very start. The B&B itself was larger and more spacious than I expected. It had an “old world” charm, and one could see that it was lovingly cared for. We stayed in the George Washington suite, which was clean, very large, bright and spacious. There was a beautiful, bright chandelier, as well as other lighting, which provided plenty of light. The room was beautifully appointed with an ensuite bathroom and shower. There were two queen beds which were exceptionally comfortable, I think I slept better here than in my own bed at home! There were two comfortable, upholstered chairs with a small table and lamp where you could just sit and relax, chat, read or have a snack. There was a coffee maker, coffee, milk, cream and filtered water in the mini-fridge as well as some goodies to snack on. There was a sweltering heat wave while we were there and thankfully the air conditioning worked flawlessly. We enjoyed some wine & cheese with our friends one evening after dinner, on the large balcony right outside our door. We were so impressed at how beautiful and spacious the grounds were. The garden was beautiful and well attended to, with beautiful flowers and greenery all around, there was a sitting area where you could just relax and read or simply enjoy the beauty around you. Judy catered to our tastes and dietary restrictions and prepared delicious breakfasts each morning. Sonny made sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful in recommending wineries, restaurants and other places to visit. It was so comfortable to sit at breakfast and just chat with both of them. There was ample parking around the back of the property and the location was excellent, it was only a 15 minute walk to charming Main street and many restaurants. Sonny and Judy made us feel like family and we would definitely stay here again – we are already thinking of when our next visit might be. The White House Boutique Bed & Breakfast could be a destination in itself! Highly recommended.

Our stay at The White House B&B was a wonderful experience. Our hosts, Sonny and Judy, went all out to make us comfortable. Our conversations over truly delicious breakfasts were always interesting and informative. We travelled with friends to NOTL. Our friends are going to Japan this fall, and Sonny was full of information for them. I don't believe there are many countries Sonny and Judy have not travelled to. We are very much looking forward to our next trip to NOTL and our stay at The White House.

Sonny and Judy are very caring hosts. The location was perfect for seeing the town and going to the plays. The beds were comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and the setting gorgeous with its lovely garden.

For years we have been going back to the same B & B! You can never get too much of a good thing! The breakfast is a feast, the rooms are spacious, and the hosts are exceptional! Thank you for always making Niagara on the Lake feel like a home away from home!

Great stay. The location was perfect we could walk to town and the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub and breakfasts. Sonny was an amazing host. We had a comfortable stay, highly recommend this to others . Parking was easy . We thought the snack and drinks in the room were thoughtful

We had a lovely time, spending 3 nights here. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. Sonny gave us good information on places to go (this being midwinter). With streets and sidewalks icy, we had to use the car instead of walking, but in nice weather this location would be a pleasant walk to Queen Street sites. Judy's breakfast each morning was a "wow" occasion. Really hope we have an opportunity to come back.

The White House is a beautiful property. Our room was beautiful and spacious. Sonny always had great suggestions for places to eat and attractions to visit. Breakfast was delicious every time. Sonny and Judy would join us at breakfast and we would have great conversations. This is our second time staying here and will definitely come back again. We highly recommend staying at the White House.

We had a wonderful stay. Sonny and Judy are very friendly and accommodating hosts. The breakfast is gourmet, with savory sweet courses that are both healthy and delicious. The menu changes every day and for those who eat a lot it's more than enough food. The room was beautiful, super comfortable (what a supportive mattress!), very spacious, and clean. We also enjoyed drinking coffee and tea in the morning on the second-floor balcony. We definitely look forward to staying there again!

The White House owners treated us like family! They gave so many helpful suggestions which made our stay perfect! We had our own room which was spacious, extremely clean and the attention to details that made us feel comfortable were amazing! A definite revisit!

Sonny and Judy are amazing hosts. Our room and the entire guest area were extremely clean and well maintained. Our breakfasts around the dining room table with the other guests (served promtly at 9AM!) were both wonderful and enjoyable. Sonny and Judy would both join the guests for conversation after the guests had all been served. They truly enjoy what they are doing and it shows. Sonny could not be more helpful (both before and during our visit) with suggestions on where to eat or things to do including written descriptions and directions! I would highly recommend a few days at The White House Boutique B&B. You will not be disappointed!!

I have stayed in many B&B's and this was by far my favorite of them all. The friendly service, cleanliness and great food made it a home away from home!! On a quiet street and just a short walk from the main street was a definite plus!! The owners are very knowledgeable about the area and were able to make great recommendations for wineries and restaurants.

We were fortunate enough to book a two night stay at The White House Boutique Bed & Breakfast. Sonny made us feel welcome from the moment he opened the door. Very tastefully decorated and stately. While Sonny was going over the paperwork he called two places to see if they were going to be open on Monday, since it is the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday. He showed us where to go for the best prices on Ice Wine and meals. Then he took us to our rooms. We were in the room with two queen beds. The White House is the only place in town that offers two queen beds. The other room was a king. Both had fireplaces, comfortable beds, mini fridges, snacks and ample room for our comfort. He showed us how to work everything and the closet even had robes for our use. The first morning we were served a delightful and hardy breakfast which had been lovingly created by Sonny's wife Judy. He promised we wouldn't leave hungry and he was right. Our second breakfast was equally delicious and filling. Judy came in and sat with us after breakfast was served. Meanwhile Sonny made sure we had everything we wanted. Both were a delight to chat with. If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to stay in NOTL, look no further than The White House Boutique Bed & Breakfast. Sonny and Judy will take excellent care of you. You'll enter as guests and leave as family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Sonny & Judy at their lovely B&B. They are fabulous hosts, made us feel very welcome and gave lots of tips for things to do in the area. The breakfasts were delicious & our room extremely comfortable with lots of extras. Fully recommend the White House if staying in beautiful NOTL.

Felt a lot like being the guests of good friends who bend over backwards to make your visit as pleasant as possible. Immaculate, spacious suite with thermostat controlled fireplace, refrigerator, bathrobes, large fluffy bath towels, coffee maker even complimentary snacks. Hosts Sonny and Judy are two gems who meticulously designed the B&B experience — including excellent exterior lighting to make safe the 11PM return from evenings at the theater. Wish we had found the White House before our 4th trip to NOTL. Would not even consider any other place to stay on future visits!

Sonny and Judy are excellent hosts. I felt like I was a guest in their home, and they were my good friends when the trip was done. My room was spacious and yet cozy. Breakfast graciously served every morning made me feel very special, and meeting the other guests was great fun. Sonny is always helpful and a dispenser of good advice. They even sent me off with a care package when I left early on my last day.

We just spent 4 nights at this marvelous BnB where Sonny and Judy are the most welcoming of hosts. The rooms are spacious and furnished with very comfortable beds and pillows and luxurious sheets as well as all sorts of thoughtful amenities. And every day we had a different 4 course gourmet breakfast that was truly delicious! We also really enjoyed the covered porch with plenty of comfortable seating to hang out with our friends. A very enjoyable vacation spot!

We have not stayed in a B&B in NOTL for a while because our favorites changed hands or are now private residents. That said we decided to try the White House based on reviews. Sonny the owner was extremely accommodating and gave us some tips regarding the area that we didn’t know and we have been to NOTL at least a dozen times. His wife Judy prepared a great breakfast and also accommodated my wife’s dietary restrictions. I would highly recommend a stay at the White House.

We had a wonderful stay at The White House. Sonny and Judy were wonderful hosts who really cared about our experience. The accommodations were comfy and immaculate. The breakfast was yummy and Sonny made sure that it suited my husbands dietary needs. I look forward to a time when we can stay with them again.

We enjoyed our stay at the White House. The suites were large and comfortable. If anything was needed we just had to ask either Sonny or Judy and they provided the items immediately. Each morning we were treated to a 4 course breakfast. Homemade and delicious. While we had carefully planned our stay in Niagara on the Lake, Sonny was able to give us interesting background on some of the venues we planned to attend and told great stories to enhance our experience. He also provided additional venues for us to consider. Sonny and Judy made us feel right at home. They worked very hard to make our stay memorable and they succeeded.

The visit to Niagara on the Lake was great and our hosts at The White House truly enhanced the experience. Sonny and Judy were helpful in all aspects of the stay. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. The grounds and flowers are perfect. I save what may be the best for last - the breakfasts were above delicious and were different every morning of our four night stay. Each was unique, healthy and tasty. When we return to NotL, the White House will certainly be our first choice.

I spent an amazing weekend this past Labour Day weekend. Simply the best! My family and I come every year and we always stay here. There really is no other place like it. Sonny and Judy are so welcoming and the breakfast is always delicious. Highly recommend the visit.

The large room was very comfortable. The bathroom was nicely fitted out, with a Starship Enterprise showerhead. The 4 course breakfasts were fantastic. Sonny and Judy were wonderfully friendly hosts. Sonny always had great advice for places to eat and visit or avoid. We enjoyed our stay enormously and will certainly go back again.

Lovely B&B in a very convenient location in NOTL. Walking distance to downtown and many wineries are a few minutes away by car. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hosts are so helpful and kind-really made the stay so easy and enjoyable. Delicious breakfast served every morning. Highly recommend this establishment.

From beginning to end, an exceptional stay with wonderful support from our hosts Sonny & Judy! Beyond beautiful and clean comfortable rooms. And robust, well cooked and presented breakfasts each day. Good walking distances to attractions, and right by bike lanes to scenic trails along the lake. A real treasure!

Run by a very thoughtful, knowledgeable and friendly couple. Great location - quiet but walking distance to most points of interest in NOTL. Bring your appetite! The breakfasts were wonderful and carried us through a good portion of our day. The rooms are clean and well-appointed and very private. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at The White House Boutique Bed & Breakfast. Our hosts, Sonny and Judy, were amazing. They made us feel very welcome and had great local knowledge of places to visit. Breakfasts in their back garden were wonderful. The house is a short walk from the downtown core and in a very quiet neighbourhood. I would happily recommend The White House and would definitely visit again.

Sonny and Judy have a very elegant property. It is white glove clean. When we arrived (late due to airline problems), they gave us a warm welcome with banana bread and yogurt. The rooms are big and very clean. Breakfast was delicious with waffles and yogurt. Overall we had a wonderful stay. We would plan on staying with Sonny and Judy again when we return to Niagara-On-The-Lake.

Really great stay at the White House. Very comfortable large room with all the amenities that you would want , excellent hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Great breakfasts !! The location is good too, within reasonable walking distance of the downtown. The whole home was very clean, with ample facilities for sanitization, the precautions that they take as to bed linen, towels etc. were outstanding. Sonny and his wife do a great job, would highly recommend the property , we'll definitely be back

I couldn't speak more highly of Sonny and Judy. They were more than accommodating with any of our requests. The room was absolutely spotless and we were provided with a range of complimentary items upon arrival. We were really made to feel at home and it's the ideal getaway spot. There will only be one place I'll be staying when I return to NOTL.

What an incredible stay. Sonny, the host did everything he could to make our stay memorable including having a bottle of bubbly ready at my request ;). And the "boss lady" had delicious baked goods for us every morning. Even with the limitations of covid we felt comfortable, clean. Truly can't fault the stay.

We visited during Covid so this this was challenging and unique. Sonny went over and above to make us feel safe and comfortable. He made a dinner reservation and asked if he could help in any other arrangements. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider a return stay.

Well located. Spacious room. Pleasant hosts. Filling tasty breakfasts.

Firstly let us say what exceptional hosts Sonny & Judi are. If attentive hosts are what you are looking for then this is the place to stay. Rooms were lovely, and clean, hence you have to leave your shoes down stairs at the front door of the property. Breakfast is at 9am and each course is served to you personally by Sonny. The food is delicious. Unfortunately we do have an issue with the description on Hotels.com. It says several times that there is a free stocked mini-bar. There isn't. There is tea/coffee and a fridge with water in. Which is all listed separately, to the mini-bar, in the description. Secondly and probably more important, it describes a Private Spa tub. From Hotels.com description and pictures I booked this hotel with visions of coming in after a day of sight seeing and us relaxing in the tub, just us, in private. This is not the case. It's at the rear of the property on the decking outside the owners living area, opposite the accommodation car park, and is for everyone to use So not private at all. The other issue is you had to tell them when you would be planning to use it so as they could remove covers and get it ready. And the owner had to be there when using for safety purposes. This for us was to restrictive to use as we did not want to be tied down to times. We do not wish to undermine our hosts, but for us we didn't feel we could unwind and relax as we had hoped

Our experience was beyond expectation. We were treated like family. Our hosts Sonny and Judy prepared delicious and healthy breakfasts. Sonny provided guidance on how to get around and recommended sites to see as well as restaurants. We would highly recommend and return to this lovely home.

We had an absolutely amazing stay with Sonny and Judy! It felt like we were staying with family. Our room was beautiful, spacious and had all the comforts of home. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Sonny made it his priority to ensure we experienced the best that Niagara wine country had to offer....and we did! This is a great B&B. The room was very spacious, very well appointed, with a great private bath. Very nicely landscaped. Breakfast was really good. Price was very reasonable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with useful tips on sightseeing options in the Niagara area, coupons for wine tastings, etc. As a general comment on the Niagara area, stay in Niagara on the Lake and skip staying in the city. It's much less expensive and much nicer.

Our stay here was great. Our hosts Sonny and Judy were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. We were a bit unsure of eating with strangers at breakfast as all guests sat together but we both said after our first morning that it had been enjoyable especially when our hosts joined us at the end, perfect. Would highly recommend. Also Niagara on the Lake was a very pretty town, we are so glad we stayed there

The property was beautiful, and the front gardening was stunning. Upon arrival, we met the owners. Their hospitality was more than we could have imagined. We spent the evening in our room and in the hot tub. The bedroom was large, comfortable and quite clean. Our small kitchenette was fully stocked with water (both cold and room temperature), tea, coffee, hot chocolate and chocolates. We had hoped to listen to a hockey game on the radio but they had all the channels and Netflix hooked up to the flat screen. We enjoyed a nice soak in the hot tub, and had our own little light show (the hot tub had coloured lights that changed on a timer) and a few fountains pouring into the tub. Our two breakfasts were beyond amazing. On our first morning we had yogurt with coconut clusters, fresh fruit, blueberry pie, spinach quiche, cheese and broccoli quiche, a meat and cheese platter, fresh guava juice and tea. On our second morning we had yogurt with granola, fresh fruit, apple turnovers, a ham, cheese, mushroom and asparagus frittata, fresh pomegranate juice and tea. Needless to say we were not hungry most of the day! In addition to the wonderful accommodations and food we were given a variety of vouchers for wine tasting at some of the local wineries. But one of our fondest memories is that he directed us to a small family honey bee keeper and icewine maker. When you visit the White House make sure to ask!

If any one is considering staying in Niagara-on-the-Lake you must stay at The White House Boutique Bed & Breakfast. The rooms are large, over sized bed, with very soft linens. Sonny & Judy provide the most delicious breakfast. You truly receive white glove treatment. Sonny made suggestions and made dinner reservations for us. He help us plan our day with outstanding recommendations for wineries in the area. This was probably one of the BEST Bed & Breakfast we have stayed in.

My husband and I stayed at the White House Boutique Bed and Breakfast for a weekend in NOTL and we were very happy with our experience. Sonny and Judy were wonderful hosts and were extremely friendly and welcoming to us. Sonny is very knowledgable of the NOTL area and was helpful with helping us determine our plans for the day and giving us tips on the wineries, plus offering some suggestions for great restaurants. We stayed in the Abraham Lincoln suite and it was very clean and spacious and the entire home was recently updated. Each morning we had breakfast in the main dining room with the other guests staying in The White House. Sonny and Judy prepared an outstanding breakfast each morning and it was 5 courses each day. Everything tasted delicious and was very fresh. I especially enjoyed the quiche and Judy even offered to email me the recipe for it! We have absolutely no complaints about our weekend getaway and stay at The White House. We would definitely stay at this B&B again and we would highly recommend it to our friends and family!

I loved everything about this bed and breakfast. Sonny and his wife were very accomodating. The breakfast was soooo good. The property is well maintained and everything is very clean. The beds are very comfortable and it's within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Loved it so much. We can't wait to go back!!!!!

We cannot speak highly enough of Sonny & Judy and the White House Bed & Breakfast! To start off, we missed our flight and instead of arriving at 11am, we arrived at 11pm and Sonny was gracious enough to wait up for us and accommodate our late arrival. The next day we wanted to explore the beautiful wineries in the area and Sonny drove us around, got us in to the VIP areas, took our pictures, and made a reservation for an amazing lunch. The day could not have been better and I have never experienced such amazing hospitality! The homemade 4 course breakfasts are fabulous, the rooms are clean, spacious, and have all the amenities that you could possibly need.
