Ce petit hôtel est un havre de paix au cœur du quartier de l’hivernage, très chic et calme. Nous y avons été extrêmement bien accueillis par un personnel aux petits soins, toujours prêts à aider, organiser et à donner de très bon conseils. Un grand merci en particulier à Abdul et Hishem. Le bâtiment est une très belle maison de maître avec une belle terrasse au rez de chaussée sur laquelle déjeuner ou boire un verre, une grande terrasse en rooftop pour profiter du soleil, un petit jardin verdoyant et une jolie piscine. Notre chambre était grande, bien décorée, avec beaucoup de rangements, une petite terrasse bien agréable et une salle de bain petite mais fonctionnelle. Tout est d’une propreté irréprochable, tant dans la chambre que dans les espaces communs, intérieurs comme extérieurs. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et varié. Nous avons dîné une fois au restaurant de l’hôtel : la carte est variée et les plats choisis étaient excellents pour des prix raisonnables. Si nous devons revenir à Marrakech un jour, nous reviendrons très certainement à l’Hivernage Secret.

An oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh centre. Very comfortable and beautifully appointed.

I’m not sure there is anything not to like. Maybe be aware that it didn’t appear that they sold alcoholic beverages.

Esse lugar me surpreendeu positivamente. Se um dia eu voltar a Marrakesh, certamente ficarei aqui novamente. A cordialidade dos funcionários é incrível. É um hotel boutique com apenas 6 quartos e está sempre cheio, tem que reservar com antecedência, ou ter sorte em conseguir um quarto. A localização é excelente, porque fica em Hivernage, que é um bairro agitado, de alto padrão, fora da Medina, mas ao mesmo tempo fica numa rua tranquila, fora do burburinho. O quarto é extremamente espaçoso e confortável, a comida do restaurante é excelente, ideal para experimentar as comidas típicas marroquinas e o café da manhã é um verdadeiro banquete. O transfer do hotel é confortável e lhe dá muita tranquilidade, não arrisque pegar um táxi por conta própria, sobretudo na chegada. Os taxistas não são confiáveis, certamente você vai pagar muito mais caro num serviço ruim se quiser pegar um táxi aleatório.

Het is een kleinschalige accommodatie met slechts 6 kamers/suites met super vriendelijk personeel (Rabin was fantastisch) en magnifieke faciliteiten. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, de lunch en diner kaart was ok. Het dakterras en ook het zwembad waren prachtige plekken om te vertoeven. Tenslotte nog meegeven dat de execitive suite enorm was met 2 aparte badkamers, een eigen salon, diner ruimte en private tuin. We zijn al op veel en dure plaatsen geweest maar zelden zo aangenaam verrast geweest.

The place if beautiful and quiet, the room was really big and clean. The staff was very friendly.

Our room was situated above the kitchen and there was A LOT of noise (like heavy dishwashers, mixers, and banging noises), until late in the night. It was really annoying as we had to get up at 3am to get to the airport and were hoping to be able to go to bed early and get a good rest. The hotel didn't offer any compensation.

Das Hotel wirkt fast wie eine Ruhe-Oase und ist dennoch in toller Lage unweit des Zentrums, welches ich per Fuß besichtigte. Die Suite ist sehr schick eingerichtet. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich kompetent und freundlich. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Bei dem Preis und Niveau sollte die Mini-Bar nicht noch zusätzlich kosten.

Tout était parfait. J’ai eu la chance de fêter mon anniversaire dans cet établissement et les amis avec qui je voyageais l’avaient signalé à la direction de l’hôtel qui m’a organisé une magnifique soirée. La décoration de la table et même de la chambre, tout était magnifique. Le restauration de cet hôtel est vraiment très bien. Le chef est parfait. C’est un endroit qui donne envie de revenir. Un havre de paix et de bonheur, calme et confortable.

Very nice pool and rooftop setup. The food we had for lunch was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Got a bit unlucky and our AC was tripping the breaker on our floor. The staff was accommodation and gave us a fan for the night since we couldn’t run the air. They had a repair guy out the next day to fix it.

We hadden een heerlijk verblijf in deze accommodatie. Alle medewerkers waren erg vriendelijk, en je voelt je direct thuis. Vooral onze grote dank aan Hicham, hij zorgde er voor dat ons verblijf uitstekend was, hij wilt alles voor je doen. Het hotelletje is een villa met een paar kamers, een klein zwembad, een terras. De kamer was uitstekend met balkon (wij hadden de Junior Suite). Ook de kamers waren erg schoon. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, en er was van alles te krijgen, van pain au chocolat tot crêpes, van koffie tot jus d'orange. We hebben ook meerdere keren gegeten in het hotel en ook het eten was uitstekend vooral de couscous was erg lekker. Naar de Medina is ongeveer een half uurtje lopen maar om de hoek is een taxi standplaats. Tevens zijn er genoeg restaurantjes en terrasjes in de omgeving en ook is er een ATM in de buurt. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug. Kortom, een aanrader als je buiten de chaos van de Medina wilt zitten.

Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique dans cet établissement. Le personnel est d’une grande gentillesse et nous a fait sentir comme chez nous. Un immense merci à Hicham, qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus spécial grâce à sa bienveillance, sa disponibilité et ses petites attentions de chaque instant. C’est vraiment une personne extraordinaire, et grâce à lui nous avons déjà envie de revenir l’année prochaine ! La cuisine est excellente, on y mange divinement bien, et la chambre était spacieuse, confortable et impeccable. Tout était réuni pour passer des vacances inoubliables.

Le personnel est absolument adorable et très serviable il nous a permis de passer un séjour formidable. Établissement est très propre et bien entretenu. Je recommande à 100 % ce boutique hôtel.

Le lieu, le calme et la très grande gentillesse, l’amabilité et la serviabilité du personnel. Il faut aussi savoir qu’il n’y a que 6 chambres et un bon restaurant.

The room we booked was meant to have a hot tub and garden, executive suite, it had neither but was told by staff it was the best room, also we should have had access to an executive lounge and there was none either, otherwise hotel was great just think people pay a higher price for these things to be included, I would have paid less elsewhere for same service I received.

Lovely hosts, peaceful location, was disappointed not to get a room with a balcony as it says there was one on my booking, but in fact some do and some dont, apart from that everything was lovely and the room was very peaceful. Breakfast was very good.

A return from a stay a few days earlier so knew what to expect. This time I was in a superior room to my last stay so it had the luxury of a bath and nice seating area. Staff welcoming and helpful as before.

It was on the ground floor situated above the kitchen where the chef prepares the breakfast for the next morning as breakfast starts at 7.30. For me this was quite disturbing as I could hear all the preparations until about 22.30 ( I imagine most visitors are out having supper so may not be disturbed whereas I was shattered) - I had expected to be on the first floor as my booking said accessible by stairs

A beautiful hotel about 30 minutes walk from the medina. Situated in a quiet area. Lovely rooms with everything required. Nice outdoor area with a pool. Staff were exceptional and nothing was a bother. Abdul was excellent and happy to help with recommendations of places to visit. Local restaurants were great.

The location & staff.

The property was a Riad not a hotel. Therefore no alcohol, so no pre dinner drinks & no night cap. Slightly misleading from the description given on booking.com Our room was quite dark & depressing, lighting was “bright white” with which wasn’t pleasant, more like a shop than a bedroom! The doors leading to the garden were faulty so we had to tie the door handles together & put chairs either side of the doors to make it safe. The TV had only one English channel which was the news.

The staff were all delightful, they couldn't do enough for us. They made us a beautiful meal on our wedding anniversary and gave us a lovely decorated table. The pool is lovely with Indian slate tiles. The building is beautifully decorated.

There is no bar as the premises is unlicensed, but we knew that before we went so we picked up a couple of bottles at the airport.

I had an unforgettable stay at this charming hotel in Marrakesh! The property had an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. My room was enormous, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally comfortable—a true oasis. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay perfect; their warmth and attentiveness made me feel completely at home. It didn’t feel like a hotel at all, but rather like staying with family. I can’t recommend this hidden gem highly enough and will definitely be returning!

The breakfast buffet was limited which is understandable for a smaller hotel. I think it would be more efficient if they had an order based breakfast rather than a buffet. Regardless the positive vibes made it such an amazing experience, I can’t complain.

A great retreat that lives up to its name. It is truly a secret garden sanctuary away from the bustle of Marrakesh in a quiet street in the leafy garden suburb of L'Hivernage. The suburb and property are very quiet, the property is surrounded by gardens and filled with birdsong. Still easy accessible to Menara Mall, banks and the city. The building itself is a restored villa with good soundproofing and blackouts. Beds very comfortable, free WiFi and welcomed with mint tea and sweets.

My winter stay coincided with a very cold weather spell, so you do need to wrap up well indoors.

What a gem! A wonderful green garden with lots of flowers and birds singing, secluded from the outsider world. Nice large and well equipped room. Super friendly and always present and attentive staff, helping with taxi arrangements and everything. Great breakfast. Excellent cleaning with attention to detail. Good location, walking distance to Medina while still being in a calm and relaxed area with nice cafés and restaurants not far. If coming back to Marrakesh, I certainly hope to stay at the same place.

One of the showers (yes we had two bathrooms :-) ) was spraying a bit on the side; could need a new shower-head.

This is a fantastic place to stay .It is a fabulous contrast to the hustle and bustle of the medina area while only a couple of miles away .The room and accommodation were first class .The real star of the show was Abdhul,one of the managers who went out of his way to help us.He arranged trips and accessed for us an outstanding guide who was terrific Abdhul is an exceptionally nice man and excellent manager !All other staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful . The place was exceptionally clean and could not be faulted.

Fabulous stay at a very comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely and decent sized pool and private gardens. Very accommodating to us after check out whilst we waited to depart to the airport. The location is a lovely residential area of Marrakesh, quiet and away from the crowds. It is great for the airport (which is why we chose it), but not as convenient for the Medina and historic areas of Marrakech.

The area was nice, away from the hustle and busle, although it was a taxi ride in and out of the city every time.

The bathroom was very small and in need of some work to improve it.

The suites & garden were a welcome retreat from the bustle of the city. The pool was wonderful, with full size sun loungers and ample space for guests. The staff was so welcoming & kind. I arrived early and they set me up with juices, tea, and a swim in the pool while they prepared my room early. I ate at the restaurant for dinner which was very good and so convenient after an intense day of travel. Highly recommend

A nice small hotel with just a few rooms / suites very private and quiet and with a pool. Had a room with a small private balcony. Perfect for attending conferences at the Palais des Congres - 5 min walk. Very friendly welcome and good breakfast. Also walking distance from the railway station for the more adventurous (ca 20 min).

From the moment we arrived we fell in love with this place. The staff in housekeeping and at front desk were so helpful and informative. A big shout out to Hicham who was sure to feed us even on days that we’d very early morning tours booked. It only has 6 bedrooms so the service was very personalised and attentive. The pool/ chill-out area was lovely for our downtime. The neighbourhood of Hivernage is beautiful and quiet and yet just a short taxi ride or half hour walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa. I’ll definitely be back and am more than happy to recommend it.

Everything. The room was lovely. Junior Suite is not Junior in any way, absolutely perfect… huge bed, room cleaned wonderfully well and nice balcony. The pool was great, options for shade and sun at all times. The staff are on a completely other level. They deserve more than 10/10. The genuine friendship we felt from Hisham, Abdul and Brahim made this trip feel like we were staying with family. Hisham and Abdul even helping me when I had an infected nail after a day at the waterfall. Hisham seemed to be there whenever we needed anything and even when we didn’t know we needed something, he had it! He truly did make our week there so very special. Brahims knowledge of activities was very helpful. We cannot recommend this oasis enough.

The only thing, and it’s very tiny, is the sunbeds do not recline making it impossible to lay on your front if you want the sun on your back. There are plenty of ways to get the sun on your back though so all good.

We stayed room 101 for one night in September 2024. It was fantastic ! The welcome was warm, the room was perfect, the little garden and swimming pool were perfect to relax. The hotel is in a part of the new city, about 4 km from the Medina and very close to the airport. It was nevertheless quiet and discreet. The welcome was efficient and all the staff very friendly. Thanks a million !

Our stay at this hotel was fabulous! A real oasis of peace in a very good area, close to ATMs and malls. The services were extraordinary! We sincerely thank the guys at the reception, the waiter, the cleaning girls, the chef and the whole team that works there. Simply wonderful! One of the best hotels I've stayed at. We felt extremely well at this hotel. I recommend with all confidence!

Our stay exceeded expectations and the service we received is the best we have ever experienced, especially from Hicham! He was extremely attentive, quickly noticed what we liked at breakfast/lunches and we can say it wouldn't have been the same stay without him. We were very pleased with our room, it was a great size and the bed was the most comfortable we have stayed in! The Wifi is also the best we've experienced, i understand each room as its own router so you're always in reach of connection. The location was great, only 10 mins from the airport, 5-7 mins in the taxi from some really nice restaurants (or 15-20 min walk) and 10-15 mins taxi to the Medina / Jardin Majorelle. We hope that we have a chance to come back to stay again in the future!

It was so lovely, the staff were exceptional, and so informative. I would highly recommend this place. Our room was beautiful. I could not ask for any more. I will definitely be back to stay here.

We had the best stay here. Our room was huge with 2 bathrooms! The pool area was great it never felt too crowded and was clean. The location was perfect for us away from the medina but close enough to walk/get a cheap taxi when we wanted to go into it. There’s a few good restaurants/coffee shops within walking distance and the food in the hotel was also good. It was our 3rd time staying in Marrakech but this hotel was by far the best we have stayed in. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and were always happy to engage in conversation and give tips!

Everything was great but it we had to pick, maybe the breakfast could be a little better but that was just a minor thing.

We feel so lucky to have found this jewel property. Warm welcome, beautiful secluded place, incredible food. It was our last night in Marrakech and we wished we had booked more nights as the neighborhood looked very inviting.

This was my first time staying here but it won't be the last time. It was the perfect landing spot when I first arrived to Marrakech. It's close enough to Gueliz and the medina, but quiet, with space to park a car. The rooms are large and feel private. The pool is refreshing. The food is wonderful. And did I mention the staff? They're the best!
