Slightly slow on service but not bad

Large room. Comfy bed. Nice shower. Nice ambience and small touches like Roberts radio. Restaurant food was excellent as was breakfast. Parking on site. Great place to stay night before flight in Bristol.

Room was dark. Lighting for makeup etc not adequate. Toilet brush and are around needed a good clean.

Really good overall stay, the rooms were lovely and in the price you got breakfast which was like a breakfast from a lovely cafe, some really good options with good coffee and latte art too. We also got a complimentary drink from the bar included. I liked that everything you wanted was within the hotel grounds. We got there fairly late 6pm so was nice to get some dinner which was lovely and just walk over to our room afterwards:) came away feeling satisfied, really good value for money.

Everything was excellent including the relaxing live music during dinner.

We were not going to Bristol airport and did not know it was nearby so were surprised by the heavy traffic before it was quiet as we approached Langford.

The staff couldn't have been more welcoming. The food was delicious and the rooms furnished to a beautiful standard!

The Inn and our room/suite were decorated and fitted out to a high standard. The breakfast was outstanding: generous and cooked to order. The breakfast service was great - very friendly and professional.

The general levels of service were not good enough for the price we paid. We stayed on a Saturday night and there was a wedding or some other event happening. We had to wait quite a long time to check in and the service during our evening meal was poor. For example we ordered cocktails to start but were told we'd have to wait 20 minutes to get them, as the bar was too busy; they suggested just having a beer or wine instead. We had to hassle to get menus, and order and get the bill. Strangely the beds were only made up with one sheet to sleep under - no duvets and only one blanket between two beds. It's been extremely hot this summer but it wasn't actually that warm when we stayed. We asked for another blanket but it never arrived. Presumably weddings and events book a long time in advance, so it ought be straight forward to make sure there are enough staff working. All these weren't major issues and I'd usually be laid back about it, but they are charging a high price for their rooms, and they should be providing a higher level of service for the money.

We were upgraded to the junior suite called Blagdon but it hadn’t been cleaned well. The carpet needed a good vacuum and clean. The bedroom area is quite cramped and possibly smaller than normal rooms but the shower room is a good size. I wouldn’t bother paying more for this suite because less you want an upstairs TV room. The TV in the bedroom could not get a signal. I would stay again but not in this room.

A fridge would have been great especially as it was very hot, also mini bar was listed when I booked.

Parking can be a challenge but the hosts helped preserve a space when we needed it!

Snow windows were rotting through. Ceiling in a bedroom looks like it needs replacing.

Fans in room, two bottles of drinking water, good TV and radio. Good sized room. Dining and bar area attractive and meal menu has a good range of choices.

Not sufficient number if hangers in room. New annex room impacted by banging doors from below bar customer traffic. The new help yourself breakfast bar detracts from the previous table service and food quality. Dried up croissants no fresh fruit as stated on menu . Good to see breakfast rolls on offer.

Très bel inn typiquement anglais avec son pub. La chambre est cosy et confortable. Le personnel est très accueillant et attentif à ce que votre séjour soit agréable. Excellent petit déjeuner fait maison.

A great find. Nice and close for Bristol airport. Great pub, good beer garden with plenty of seating. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side, so we didn't get to use it. Great rooms, huge bathroom, massive shower. Great evening meal and superb breakfast. Couldn't fault it. We will definitely return.

The staff made us feel welcome right from the beginning. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs. It was quiet all night. Breakfast was cooked to order by the chef and was excellent. I would stay there again if I had the opportunity.

Ligging is prima en kamer is ruim, tenminste onze superior kamer die via buiten te bereiken was.

Erg gehorig. Geen idee waar het geluid vandaan kwam maar ‘s nachts en s ochtenda gekke tikken en ritselen en alsof de buren al wakker waren. Verder kon de bediening in het restaurant wel ietsje beter. Drinken bestellen als je eten er al was was een uitdaging want ze keken nooit rond. Jammer want het eten zelf was wel goed. Maar het geheel miste echt wat warmte in de uitvoering.

The staff were amazing, they bent over backwards to accommodate us when our husky was being operated on at the Langford hospital which was only 0.9 miles away. What little food we had was also exceptional and we have vowed we'll go back as soon as dog is fit and well again.

It wasn't cheap, particularly on a Saturday but, that said, they were going to try and give us a reduced rate, given our circumstances and, when we could take our husky home, so no longer needed the room on the Saturday and Sunday, they didn't charge for late cancellation. You can't ask for anymore than that! Thank you Langford Inn.

Ho soggiornato al The Langford Inn e mi sono trovato davvero molto bene. Ho apprezzato particolarmente la posizione, ideale per visitare Bristol e tante cittadine e attrazioni caratteristiche dei dintorni senza dover affrontare lunghi spostamenti. Uno degli aspetti che mi è piaciuto di più è stato lo stile tipicamente inglese della struttura, che rende il soggiorno autentico e ricco di fascino. L’atmosfera è accogliente e rilassante, perfetta per immergersi nella campagna inglese. Anche la ristorazione è stata una piacevole sorpresa: si mangia molto bene sia a pranzo che a cena, con piatti curati e gustosi. Un plauso speciale alla colazione, davvero ottima, varia e abbondante, perfetta per iniziare la giornata nel migliore dei modi. Nel complesso, un’esperienza molto positiva che consiglio a chi cerca una struttura caratteristica, ben posizionata e con un’ottima cucina. Ci tornerei volentieri.

We were extremely lucky with the weather so we were able to enjoy the outdoor seating area. We used the hotel as a base to visit the local area. The bedroom was very spacious and clean ☺️. We chose to have breakfast and an evening meal for both nights, the menu catered for dietary needs upon request.

An absolutely gorgeous little place! Decorated lovely and all the amenities were fab!

Manager was kind and attentive, took care of a very minor room issue quickly. Nice choices for made to order breakfast.

The room lacked a fridge and only had an uncomfortable desk chair for seating, though the room was surely large enough for an upholstered chair for relaxing. Show fan didn't work, so humidity lingered (and paint is peeling on the shower ceiling, so this has been broken for a while. For the high price on a weeknight in a rural area, we expected a higher standard.

The room was comfortable and well appointed, although a little hot so we had to keep turning the heating off. We had intended to eat at other places during our day trips, but the food was so good we had all our meals at the Inn. Very tasty.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Miles couldn’t have been more authentically helpful and interested in our stay - letting us know about the local area, hosting a quiz, being very personable and talking football as a very important match was on!

The room was very good, spacious and nicely located from the main Inn. Only downside, you couldn’t open any windows and we wanted a little fresh air.

Wunderschönes Haus, sehr gutes Essen und angenehmes Personal. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Ideale Nähe zum Flughafen. Wir würden auf alle Fälle nochmals kommen.

The scrambled eggs were salted. I have high blood pressure. English breakfast too salty. Sausages were not that great. Plain black coffee was terrible, bitter. The cupachino was good. Yogurt and granola was really good. The staff are very nice and personable. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The room was freezing when we turned up. No information on how to turn heating on. The carpets look very grubby and the bathroom was cold. I wouldn't say cleaning was a priority in our room. It said there was a fridge and there wasnt. When I was in the shower it blocked up and started to flood. Luckily my husband fixed it by plunging the plug like crazy. Its a shame as the pub is beautiful and the staff are amazing

The men’s room being next to our room but wasn’t end of the world and maybe a suggestion of some draws in the bathroom maybe
