Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Un soggiorno davvero piacevole nel cuore delle Asturie Abbiamo trascorso quattro notti a La Casa de Juansabeli e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La struttura è immersa nel verde, in una posizione ideale per visitare Cabrales, Sotres e i Picos de Europa, ma allo stesso tempo facilmente raggiungibile in auto. L’atmosfera è tranquilla e accogliente e abbiamo apprezzato molto anche il ristorante, dove abbiamo cenato più volte provando il menu degustazione: cucina curata, con proposte interessanti e mai banali. Si beve anche un’ottima birra, di cui ci hanno fatto molto gentilmente omaggio alla partenza. Un episodio in particolare ci ha colpito: avevamo dimenticato uno smartwatch e ci hanno contattato immediatamente, spedendocelo poi in Italia senza alcuna spesa da parte nostra. Un gesto di grande correttezza e attenzione verso il cliente. Ci torneremmo volentieri.

We were not aware that the restaurant was closed on Mondays, which was unfortunate but not a problem as it was easy to get to Arenas de Cabrales for food.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön, mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die Berge. Obwohl das Hotel direkt an der Hauptstraße liegt, ist es angenehm ruhig. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Man merkt, dass sich alle große Mühe geben, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen und sie gut zu versorgen.
Ein Wasserkocher im Zimmer wäre schön.

Por un fallo externo al hotel nos quedamos sin agua por la noche y parte de la mañana pero nos proveyeron de agua gratis y no afectó al restaurante.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Lo que más nos gustó fue su ubicación y esa especie de terracita que tienen atrás las habitaciones, tiene buena limpieza y el baño grande, es un hotel muy competente y sobre todo el detallazo de las cervezas artesanales.Muy buen detalle, al igual que la cafetera y el agua en la habitación.
Habitación muy pequeña para dos personas, con las maletas y tal, muy justos, aunque el baño era grande, también destacar que cuando llegamos hacía demasiado calor en la habitación, no dispone de aire acondicionado, y justo en la puerta de la terraza salía desde un extractor, aire caliente hacia la puerta de la habitación.

Lovely staff and absolutely amazing food (menu changes daily). Great value for money! Electric vehicle charging (50kw) right next to the hotel at the gas station.
No airconditioning available, it can be quite hot during the summer period so be aware. This was no issue during our previous visit in September last year.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Muy buena ubicación en la carretera hacia Cangas de Onís, junto a Arenas de Cabrales para acudir a los Picos de Europa. Comodidad de la habitación y bien equipada, con sillones, silla, cafetera, etc. Buena luz, limpieza, ventilación, baño... camas cómodas. Desayuno satisfactorio, con diversas opciones de fruta. Detalles de la propietaria. Merece mucho la pena.
No pudimos reservar cena la noche que más nos interesaba, pero fue un día de gran afluencia en el restaurante (es hotel/restaurante y las reservas también vienen "de fuera"), se vieron desbordados, entendemos que sólo fue mala suerte. Parking ajustado en cuanto a capacidad, pero digo lo mismo, en temporada alta...no obstante casi siempre hay sitio y de lo contrario los trabajadores de hotel se prestan a quitar el suyo y dejarlo en una instalación aledaña donde no les ponen impedimentos.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026La verdad que puede que esté alejado del centro, cosa que no importa ya que para aparcar está bien, lo hace diferente las comodidades que han optado por tener para que sea especial tu estancia. La cama era una nube, el desayuno genial, pocos hay así.
Le falta aire acondicionado pero entiendo que no lo tengan instalado porque esto es todo debido al cambio climático, en cabrales jamás hubiéramos pensado tener que necesitar aire acondicionado.

Some of the people working there don't make you feel like a guest. That started right from the check-in and also at dinner. My Spanish is at a basic level, so you hope for patience and that people make a little more of an effort to understand you. Unfortunately, I regularly felt like I was being a nuisance when I asked something. That guest feeling was definitely present at breakfast. We had booked for five days and were given room 22. This room is situated around the elevator and above the spot where everyone stands to smoke. Because we were staying for five days, we immediately asked for a different room. That wasn't possible. Then five days is a long time to experience smelling the smoke inside when your window is open. The road traffic is also clearly audible in the room. We were specifically looking for a place of peace and quiet.

Tijdens ons verblijf was het extreem warm weer, maar we hebben toch van een goede nachtrust kunnen genieten. Alles smaakvol ingericht met oog voor detail. Ruim buitenterras. Voldoende gratis parking. Uitstekende ligging t.o.v. het startpunt van de wandeling Ruta del Cares. Ontbijt viel een beetje tegen. Het diner daarentegen was zeer lekker. Dit is eerder een hotel dat 3 sterren waard is.
Ontbijt kan pas vanaf 8 uur.

Chambres du 2e coté montagne sont un peu plus petite mais possèdent une terrasse privée au pied de la montagne à coté d'une source. Magnifique ! La chambre non climatisée est équipée d'un ventilateur/humidificateur efficace. Salle de bain avec baignoire correcte, agréable. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel avec des produits frais. Le repas du soir est digne d'1 étoile au guide Michelin : Gouteux, original ! Pour 25 € entrée/plat/dessert. Rapport qualité/prix imbattable.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Wir haben drei Nächte im Hotel verbracht. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit ausgesprochen freundlichem Personal. Das hinzu gebuchte Frühstück war super. Es gab sehr qualitätvolle Produkte und gute Auswahl. Das angeschlossene Restaurant ist fantastisch. Wir haben an zwei Abenden das Menü gehabt und waren vollkommen begeistert. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis des Restaurants ist top!
In unserem Bad (Zimmer 15), roch es leider ziemlich muffig. Bei unseren Freunden (Zimmer 16) gab es dieses Problem nicht.

No me gustó la gestión de Booking. No es la primera vez que me lo hacen … elijo habitación y número de camas; tras hacer la reserva me dicen que no es posible mi elección y me dan otra. Si quiero cancelar la reserva, pues eso no es lo que yo he reservado y no lo quiero, indican que abone el 50% por cancelar. El desayuno, entra con la habitación si la reservas a través del mismo hotel. Si vas con Booking el desayuno se paga a parte, 10€. Sin contar las altas comisiones que se quedan por las gestiones.

Reviewed May 31, 2026Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage ausserhalb des Dorfes direkt an der Strasse mit Tankstelle - trotzdem war es ruhig. Das Schönste ist der Bach direkt neben dem Hotel und die Terrasse. Ein empfehlenswertes Mittelklass-Hotel
Eigentlich nichts zu bemängeln - wer Natur sucht findet sie in den Picos und dafür ist das Hotel gut geeignet
