Nous avons passé un formidable séjour au Limestone view homestay. Duñg et Diep sont particulièrement accueillants et attentifs à notre bien-être, nous ayant donné de très bons conseils de visites de la région. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et la chambre très confortable.

A fantastic location, safe and quiet. Hosts were super friendly and the breakfast everyday was delicious & super fresh fruit. Easy access to Tam Coc and all the spectacular natural attractions. Local food restaurants really good value and clean with great food. Beautiful peaceful place.

V tomto hotelu jsme byli velmi spokojeni. Pokoje byly krásné, čisté a postele měly opravdu kvalitní matrace, takže jsme se skvěle vyspali. Velkým plusem byly také nádherné výhledy z pokojů do okolní přírody, které dodávaly pobytu klidnou a příjemnou atmosféru. Ubytování je navíc dobře dostupné a zároveň se nachází mimo rušný městský ruch, což jsme velmi ocenili. Snídaně byla každý den výborná – vždy jsme se předem domluvili na tom, co si dáme, a vše bylo čerstvě připravené. Obzvlášť jsme ocenili čerstvý pomerančový džus a ovoce, které nechyběly ani jeden den. Hotel má také velký bazén, u kterého se skvěle relaxuje. Majitel, jeho žena i syn byli velmi přátelští, milí a ochotní se vším pomoci, což celý pobyt ještě zpříjemnilo. Zvlášť bychom chtěli poděkovat majiteli za jeho přístup v situaci, kdy jsme měli střevní potíže po jídle z restaurace – maximálně nám pomohl, připravil nám dietní jídlo a nabídl i pozdější check-out. Určitě můžeme tento hotel doporučit a rádi se sem někdy vrátíme.

Koše z koupelny a pokoje nebyly ani jednou za pobyt vyneseny, což trochu zkazilo dojem.

Just checked out from my stay at Limestone View Homestay and all I can say is that this home is an incredible place to see Ninh Binh from. The location is excellent because it’s such a quick ride to all the major tourist attractions, but it’s secluded enough to get a break from the city. The family who owns and runs the home-stay are so kind and thoughtful. Breakfast is offered every morning upon request and all the ingredients are picked up the same morning at a local market. Our breakfast of Bun Cha was the best I’ve eaten through my stay in Vietnam. And the views! Oh my GOD the view from the rooms and the rooftop pool and the dining area are unreal. It feels like looking at a postcard, but it’s right in front of you. The room was clean, the bed was nice and firm, and the ac unit cooled the room down to about 70*F. And then to top it off, the host family greets you by name when you walk in, gives you a hand drawn map of the local sights to see and places to eat, and will help you flag down your Grab driver. My husband and I loved our stay here. We felt so welcomed from the second we stepped inside. The next time we’re in Ninh Binh, we won’t stay anywhere else, and we’ll be encouraging our parents to stay here as well. Thank you to Mr. Dzung and your family for an incredible experience! We can’t wait to visit again!

The location was great! Not too busy with a beautiful view and a very nice room. We loved the friendliness of our hosts, Dzung and his wife. They were always there for us and helped us with everything. The view was amazing and the homemade breakfast was a nice start of our day.

Pictures does not give the feeling of the place. Atmosphere in the hotel was not nice. Hotel is far away from everything and you need bikes for everything.

Amazing location and the perfect base for us to explore the area. I can’t recommend the location enough there is great views from every room. The host and his wife are incredibly kind and helped us plan and coordinate everything we wanted to do in the area. Gave great recommendations for where to eat as well. Trust them!

We enjoyed this part of our trip so much. While we were very comfortable and well taken care of while we were there, we really enjoyed having conversations and getting to know Dzung and his family. His pride for his home, the area surrounding, and his country is evident and appreciated.

The room is spacious with a beautiful mountain view, and the breakfast is carefully prepared by him and his wife. The rooftop offers a stunning view. The property is also conveniently located just a short distance from the Trung An boat dock.

Dzung and his family were the most wonderful hosts!They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Breakfast each day was great and very filling! The room was very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Dzung was so helpful with information about local places and plans, and organised anything we asked him to assist with, so quickly and easily. Location is perfect if you are interested in doing the river boat tours in either Trang An or Tam Coc. Our entire stay was perfect and we highly recommend a stay at Limestone View Homestay.

Great facilites, great hosts, great location and absolutely loved staying here. The breakfasts were fantastic and everything was spotless clean.

Ninh Binh is a fantastic area to stay and our host Dzung made our time at Limestone View very memorable. He made us feel very welcome after a long journey down from north Vietnam and then through Hanoi. We enjoyed 3 very different breakfasts served by Dzung and his wife - pancakes, scrambled eggs & a Full Vietnamese. We were keen to explore the area by bicycle and Dzung was happy to lend us a couple of bikes for our time there. He also provided us with his homemade map of the area and gave us advice about places to visit and the best times to go. He also arranged a taxi to the airport when we had to return to the UK. He is a very entertaining host and we were really glad we met him. We can't wait to come back to Ninh Binh and spend a bit more time there. Peter & Sam

Mr Dzung and his wife are the perfect hosts. The rooms are nice and clean and the view is spectacular. For breakfast we were served the best pancakes in Vietnam. Highly recommend!

I actually don't know where to begin. I stayed at the Limestone View Homestay with my girlfriend and we loved every single day there. The host, Dzung, and his family were extremely friendly and made us feel at home right from the beginning. Every day, Dzung's wife would prepare a tasty and nutritious breakfast with a good selection of fresh fruits, tea/coffee, and proteins. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We even had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view over the mountains. We asked for a laundry service and we got our clothes, clean and folded, very quickly. Several bikes are available, all quite sturdy and well maintained. The homestay is well located in the heart of a lovely village. Everything regarding the accommodation was perfect, but what made the experience truly unforgettable was our host and his family, who helped us with lots of information, advices and anecdotes about the surroundings and the beautiful Vietnamese culture. Finally, there are several food options a few minutes walk/bike from the homestay, and it's very easy to catch a taxi and reach every major attractions in the area. Dzung actually helped us organize some of them, which was very nice. Another important note: the area around the accommodation was very quite at night, with very few cars and motorbikes driving by. In the room there is air conditioning. In summary, thank you Dzung & family for everything, we hope to come back soon in the near future!

Sometimes in the evening somebody was singing karaoke and the music was a bit loud, but thankfully it would stop late at night and sleeping wasn't an issue.

Wir konnten schon um 6 Uhr morgens ein paar Stunden in einem Zimmer schlafen und duschen, da unser Bus so früh in Ninh Bin ankam und unser gebuchtes Zimmer noch belegt war. Sie haben uns bei unseren Ausflügen geholfen, uns gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Die Zimmer sind groß und mit atemberaubenden Aussicht. Das Frühstück ist super.

This is a small family run guest house. It’s located in a local village in a quieter area surrounded by incredible scenery. The location is really convenient to get to the different tourist attractions or into Ninh Binh city/Hoa Lu. Lots of restaurants a short walk or cycle away. Our room was huge, it had everything we needed, a big comfortable bed, great shower and a nice balcony with chairs. The place was very clean. There’s also a really nice rooftop with a long swimming pool. The hosts were amazing. They’re genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful. They’re the type of hosts you remember years later. They also make a really nice breakfast and are really flexible with the time so you won’t miss out if you actually want to sleep in a bit on your vacation.

Perfekte Lage wenn man nicht mitten drin aber trotzdem nah dran sein will. Alles ist easy mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Die Familie ist sehr nett und engagiert, kein Wunsch bleibt unerfüllt und auch das Frühstück mit der tollen Aussicht ist lecker. Auch wenn es für den Pool etwas zu kalt war und Hochzeitsbedingt auch etwas lauter als sonst, habe ich meinen Stop hier sehr genossen.

Als Vietnam-Neuling musste ich feststellen, dass ländlich nicht unbedingt ruhig bedeutet. Das gilt aber für alle Unterkünfte, die ich auf meiner Reise hatte. Ohrstöpsel und NC-Kopfhörer sind dein Freund.

Amazing hosts, welcoming, extremely friendly and helpful, you could not expect nicer people. The rooms are very clean, and breakfast is good and served either a lively smile.

The property is situated on a busy intersection, which is very noisy at rush hour, especially at 6 in the morning, so don’t expect a quiet late morning. The photos of the property on book g are a little misleading so don’t be surprised when you arrive

We loved staying here at Limestone View. We had a stunning view from our room, and I mean stunning! The pool area was very lovely, pool looked spotless. Sadly because of a lot of rain we never ended up using it. We really liked the location. The little walk across the causeway between the rice fields was a really nice way to get to town, 5-10 minute walk, especially beautiful returning at night. It was nice not to be in the chaos of town but immersed in nature instead. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Of course a highlight of the stay was how lovely the sisters who run the place are, always a smile and a little chat. Helpful when needed.

The room was quite simple, everything functioned well, clean and comfortable. No problem for us, all the good points outweighed that, but if you are after luxury probably not the place for you.

Limestone View was absolutely perfect in many ways. First, the owner, and his wife, Dep, are gracious and very generous. Dzung provided us with nice bikes to view the area and suggested beautiful routes to ride away from the noise and traffic of Tam Coc. The room was spacious and quiet with serene views. Morning breakfasts were ample with incredible Vietnamese coffee. It was Dzung and his boutique hotel that swayed us to spend another day in this beautiful and serene area. Highly recommend!

it was one of my best stays in vietnam. the host dzung and his wife supported me in any way and made me feel like home. beautiful view, customized breakfast, top location - definitely would come again!

Great location in the village and to all the great spots including the caves. The hosts were fantastic. For breakfast you could choose Vietnamese or other. Food was fresh and tasty. We rode a bike provided by the home stay around. We had a great time.. I would go back.

The room, while nice, was not very well appointed, especially considering its size, there was a lot of unused open area. The couch was far too small, barely large enough for 2 people to squeeze into. A room that size should have a larger couch, several chairs, and a desk. Aloso, odd choices on where money was spent, as an example, the floors and wall were all tiled in marble, but there were no hooks to hang towels from to dry.

Hätten wir vorher gewusst, wie schön und authentisch es in Ninh Binh ist, wären wir so gerne länger geblieben! Wir hatten als Familie ein riesiges Zimmer mit zwei sehr großen kingsize Betten. Die Wände und der Boden aus wunderschönem Marmor. Die Aussicht war fantastisch, es war alles sehr, sehr sauber, die Gastgeber überaus zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Frühstück: 2 große Teller frisches Obst und pancakes. Super lecker!!! Ganz herzlichen Dank! Ninh Binh war die Reise nach Vietnam wert!

Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet, perfekt sted for å utforske Ninh-Binh. Alt er en liten gåtur eller sykkeltur unna med lånesykler (gode restauranter, Mua Cave, An Trang båttur). Vi endte opp med å bli en dag ekstra og tok en dagstur til Cuc Phuong nasjonalpark. Familiedrevet homestay med super verdi for pengene, flotte rom, nydelig frokost og bassenget på taket var luksus etter turer på dagen. Innehaveren Dzung og familien var helt fantastiske, vi kan anbefale på det sterkeste.

We had the best time at Limestone view homestay! First off, the location is great in between Trang An and Tam Coc. We went to both places by bike. Really nice scenery! The homestay is very comfortable with big rooms. The pool was great after biking in the warm weather. The breakfast is the best with homemade pancakes and loads of fresh fruit and fresh pressed juice. But what made this place extremely special were the owners. Dzung and Dęp are really great host. They gave us a lot of information about the area and they are the sweetest couple. Thank you very much Dzung and Dep!

Glad to stay with Mr Dzung and Ms Dep. They went beyond to make sure our stay were enjoyable. The location is perfect as you can bike to most of the attractions such as Mua cave, Trang A boat tour and Tam Coc town and boat tour, breakfast were well prepared. Room was spacious and clean

I stayed with Dzung and his family for 4 night and I loved it. I felt so very welcome, breakfast was amazing, free use of a bike to go exploring by myself. A nice pool to take a plunge in after getting back from a day outside visiting the sights. I cannot recommend the beautiful place and people enough. Also, I really liked the location that was a bit away from the huzzle of Tam Coc area, while it still had good restaurants, and a good spa in the area. Thank you for a great vacation 🙂

A lovely homestay. The host Dzung is so welcoming and his family (who help with running the homestay) are so sweet. When I arrived Dzung talked me through an itinerary for my stay there and what I could realistically do in the time I had, which was super helpful to get my bearings. I ended up going to Trang An boat tour and Hang Mua viewpoint, which were both a short bicycle (which you can borrow from Dzung) ride away. The view from my room was truly stunning, and the room itself was massive and clean. Being marble really helps keep things cool too. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious. Bear in mind that this is a quieter area, so take that into account if you want to be in the centre of nightlife (though you can get a Grab pretty easily if you just want to drop in one night).

In a word, everything. The homestay is located in a quiet part of Ninh Binh that’s very walkable and there are plenty of good local restaurants very close by. The views from the 3rd floor dining area and rooftop deck and pool are spectacular and we loved spending time up there taking in the sites. The host, Dzung, and his family were so welcoming and hospitable doing everything from cooking delicious breakfast to just saying a friendly hello or goodbye when coming or going from the property. Dzung provided great recommendations for how to best see the different tourist sites in the area, where to get a good local meal, and even suggested a lovely biking route through the rice fields one evening. Providing bikes as well! We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have spent more time there!

THE place to stay in Ninh Binh. Perfect location - close to everything and well connected to the country side, quiet and authentic (unlike Tam Coc). Big and clean rooms, awesome breakfast, great swimming pool. Dzung & Dep made us feel at home and are very generous. They were both super helpful and kind to us, making our visit in Ninh Binh a smooth joyful ride. Book your stay there - you won't regret :)

A fantastic quiet location away from the city. Amongst the locals and walking distance to restaurants. A rooftop pool for those hot days and an easy cycle to Mua Cave, Lying Dragon climb & Trang A boat tours. Dzung and his family are lovely people who will do anything to help you organise a great time. He has free bicycles and organised a well priced private car to Hanoi Airport. Great pancake breakfasts, fresh fruit and spotlessly clean Hotel. I loved the honesty bar fridge.

Dzung and his wife are probably the kindest, warmest and liveliest hosts in the whole of Vietnam. In addition to everything they did to make us feel comfortable, Dzung brought me a new bike when I got a flat tire and his wife brought me back a piece of jewellery I had forgotten in the room, all the way to the bus station in a pouring rain. The room was very very clean, we were provided fresh towels at mid stay and used the laundry service (30.000 VND/kg). Our family room was very spacious with beautiful marbled walls and floors, big confortable beds and efficient AC and fan. We particularly appreciated the beautiful views from our room and the common areas as well as the refreshing roof top swimming pool. The homestay is ideally located, it is easy to bike to every places of interest and the neighbourhood is in a quieter area than the hyper touristy Tam Coc. Dzung gives great advice on what to visit and when and gave us good recommendations of restaurants that serve local food. Breakfast is great, we had Dzung’s wife delicious banana pancakes on the first day then Vietnamese food twice –always served with fresh juice and fruits. Thanks again Dzung & family for this unforgettable stay. Moving to our next location felt like leaving family!

We had a wonderful stay with Dzung and his family, he really made us feel at home in his house. The homestay is really close to all of the Trang An sites and free bikes allowed us to ride everywhere. The rooms are spacious and clean and the pool on the roof was perfect after a morning spent cycling. Breakfast was delicious with homemade pancakes and fruit. We couldn’t recommend Dzung’s place more, if you’re in Trang An you must stay here

Oh my goodness, this place is absolutely incredible! The host and his lovely family at Limestone View Homestay are absolutely top-notch. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay with them is absolutely unforgettable. They communicate so well, and the property is simply fantastic. The host is incredibly knowledgeable and gave us the best insights into the area. He recommended so many amazing restaurants, tourist attractions, and even gave us a glimpse into the local way of life in Ninh Binh. It was an absolute delight!

Host was very nice and helpful, room far exceeded expectations for a home stay. Everything in the room was new and very comfortable. The stay included a free bike to use, which was great for exploring the town. Breakfast was tasty, fresh local fruit and banana pancakes one day, fruit and eggs the second morning (you get a choice each day). Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Limestone. Dzung and Dep were unbelievably friendly and helpful. I left my phone in the Grab, and Dzung was instrumental in getting it back to me within an hour. He and Dep made us a wonderful breakfast and helped us plan our day. Dep did my laundry and had it waiting when we returned from our day of activities. The rooms were AMAZING!! Absolutely huge! And the views from the balconies (we had 2 rooms) were beautiful. I only wish we had stayed longer! Our train ride to Da Nang wasn't until 10pm and because there were no guests using the room that night, he told us to keep it and we could shower and change before our overnight train. Way over and above anything expected. Truly kind people! Book it and stay a few nights. You will be glad you did.

Dzung and his family were a special kind of wonderful- very friendly and helpful, and full of tips and stories! The homestay is very well located and provides complimentary bicycles, which was a great way to access the sigjts during the day. Breakfast was made from scratch and really delicious - I especially appreciated the fresh fruit (mango, pomelo, pineapple). Thank you so much for hosting us and letting us peek into your world.

This is quite a place and I say that in a most positive way. The Dzung family welcomed us into their home and treated us like family. We booked for 2 nights and stayed 4. Huge room, lovely breakfast room and delicious breakfasts. Good location near restaurants and sights. Grab was easy to use. We loved learning more about Vietnam and local life and we would definitely return.

Dzung and Diep are the most friendliest and most kind people we’ve met in Vietnam.

No shelf in bathroom for toiletries or mirror in the bedroom.

Mr. Dzung and his wife enthusiastically took care of us from the minute we arrived until the minute we left, from making us a variety of breakfasts to adjusting our bicycle seats (for a family of 9), reheating our restaurant leftovers for lunch, scraping down our shoes after a muddy hike, and arranging our transfer to Hà Nội. We are very grateful for the family's thoughtfulness and warmth.

The hosts are the loveliest couple. Very helpful and knowledgeable. This was one of my favourite places I stayed at in Vietnam.

A bit of a downer not to be able to see the promised views, but Dzung and his wife made up for that by the warmth of their welcome and delicious breakfasts. They arranged to have me picked up from the station and driven round during my stay. Highly recommended

Amazing experience I do recommend this place for other travellers

This property was in an excellent location. We were able to bike (bicycles provided by host) to Trang An and Tam Coc very easily. We also got a real feel for the local area being able to ride around the rice fields and little towns. There are some restaurants nearby in walking distance to enjoy local cuisine. Our host was fabulous. He was very responsive ahead of our stay helping to arrange transportation. He was also very helpful and knowledgeable with things in the area. We had delicious breakfasts prepared by our hostess banana pancakes with local honey and traditional Vietnamese pork and rice dish, which were served in a room with beautiful views of the limestone karsts.

An ideal location in a peaceful part of Ninh Binh. Dzung bends over backwards to help his guests and is an enthusiastic host.

Mr Dzung is fabulous and goes above and beyond to give you everything you might need. We were treated like royalty for our 4 night stay! His English is good -he gives good advice and can arrange reasonably priced transfers to/from Hanoi. He also arranges scooter hire -though having taken advantage of it, all we can say is that you take your life into your own hands at your peril! Stay local is our advice and avoid having to turn left on main roads. Bed very comfortable. Loud Vietnamese music at 5.45am on Sunday morning (!) but Mr Dzung explained it was a funeral for an ex local policeman and Vietnamese have to bury their dead within 24 hours. Breakfast is when you want it and you have a choice. Can highly recommend the freshly-cooked banana pancakes with local honey and the bun cha quat pork dish. Amazing fresh fruit and fruit juice and he’s justly very proud of his Vietnamese coffee. Bicycles are in good functioning condition (no gears but unnecessary as flat everywhere). Excellent location for all local attractions and restaurants/bars in walking distance/cycling distance. All in all, excellent basic accommodation. Mr and Mrs Dzung and family make it a memorable stay.

Zhung helped me with everything I needed or wanted to do. Good breakfast of banana pancakes. Good view from balcony and convenient for boat trips in Trang An and Tam Coc as well as National Park and 500 steps at Hàng Mua. Very good experience.

Gorgeous marble and granite walls and floors. Excellent building design. Great use of space. Beautiful views from every angle! Outstanding hospitality. Super food. Soft linens. Provided bikes to ride and even a ride on their motorbike! Beautiful family!

It was all great!

This was a perfect place to stay. Dzung and his wife are so friendly. Showed us all the things to do in the area. Organized rides for us. They really care about their guests. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

The hosts here were very kind, and always willing to help with directions or activities. Hot water was excellent and the room was spacious, breakfast was delicious.

The location of this spot was not for me- extremely loud 4-6am one morning with a loudspeaker blaring, and neighbors blasting music in the afternoon. It was right on a busy street (which I didn’t realize when booking) and I could hear constant noise, didn’t sleep well. There also weren’t many restaurants within walking distance at nighttime.

Everything, from the delicious breakfast to the cozy room with a massive bed, large windows overlooking the surrounding mountains, and marble tiles, was perfect. The homestay is located in a peaceful area, just outside Ninh Binh, 3–4 km from Hoa Lu ancient town. It’s easily accessible by taxi, bike, or scooter (they provide bikes at the homestay). The area is stunning, with many great spots to explore just a few kilometers away. And, of course, Mr. Dung and his wife were incredibly kind and welcoming, even inviting us to dinner on New Year’s Eve. If we ever return to Ninh Binh, we’ll stay here again!

The location is midway between the major attractions and were reachable by push bikes which were provided free of charge. You could order either a Western or Vietnamese breakfast with fresh fruit and fresh juice. The rooms were quiet and clean with comfortable beds. The owner speaks very good English and was forever helpful.

There is no TV in the rooms or safe deposit box.

Warm welcome and explanation of possible activities. Very nice breakfast. Free bikes to go around , we cycled everywhere.

Amazing hotel! We had such an awesome stay with such a cool view! We were treated with such kindness by Dzung and his wife. They were so gracious, charming and helpful. He provided us so much helpful information about the town and activities, loaned us bikes to use for the day, and they made us a great breakfast every day. Our room was great and we got to explore so much of the town! A huge thanks to Dzung and his wife for facilitating such a great time in their beautiful town. An 11 out of 10!

Last minute booking, arrived early, welcomed at the door by super friendly and helpful owner. Imparted so much local knowledge, made our two night stay very enjoyable.
