The Hanok è all’interno del villaggio, posizione ottima. I proprietari sono gentilissimi. Consigliato per chiunque voglia fare l’esperienza di dormire in un hanok village.

D’estate ci sono molte zanzare, ma è normale. In caso munirsi di spray antizanzare.

So peaceful and beautiful, like an oasis

It was very clear the breakfast was prepared carefully and with a lot of thought which was wonderful but neither of us normally eat sweet things for breakfast so we found it a little difficult to eat. Maybe an option for something more savoury but still easy to prepare could be an option next time? Even if not, I would still come back because the hosts were so lovely and have clearly put a lot of thought and consideration into guests having a lovely place to stay

Location is good as centrally located within Jeonju Hanok Village. Able to use washing machine to do your laundry.

Bath towel is on the small side. Simple breakfast that was included may not be to everyone's liking. Impersonal service.

The location is within the hanok village. Really walking within the tourist spots Host is very friendly and accommodating. She even organized the free delivery of our luggages to the train station.

For a true Hanok experience, this is it. The bed was surprising comfortable and with the floor with warm heating makes waking up bearable in the cold winter morning. The massage armchair was great after walking throughout the day. The host prepare delicious toast, boiled eggs, traditional rice cakes and fruits together with hot tea. Thanks.

This was a large, beautiful and well-equipped room, toasty warm with its ondol heating (essential, since it was the middle of winter), and we slept very well on the Korean-style duvets on the floor. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and directed us to tourist information, where she told us there were free guided tours available (we did indeed go on one, thanks to her advice!). She even arranged a free luggage pickup for our suitcases to the train station on the day of departure, and called a taxi for us. The traditional breakfast was filling, varied, interesting and very lovingly, beautifully prepared. The location in the heart of one of the prettier streets of the hanok village was perfect. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was beautiful and relaxing, at 3-bedroom detached house, with our family of four (including 2 teenagers). The Hanok hosts, Sarah and her husband are so kind. We slept very well on futons, heated floors in the middle of winter. She gave us a delicious breakfast each morning and lots of tea. On our last morning we had to leave early and she packed us breakfast to go! Jeonju Hanok Village had beautiful cafes and eateries, locals certainly know how to make everything look and feel lovely. So, so cosy. It was definitely a change of pace, lanes and side streets of handmade shops, local street foods. Plus lots of walking trails with incredible views. A very restful stay and we were fortunate to experience snow. The Hanok rooms had a fridge, plus a communal tea room with kettle and microwave. There are also nearby convenience stores, more restaurants outside the Hanok Village and Jeonju is only a short cab away. Everyone was very friendly, a highlight of our trip to Korea. Te veel achterstallig onderhoud. De wc raakte 2x verstopt. Douchekop zit te laag en zit vast. Wc wordt nat tijden het douchen. Ophanging gordijn rails afgebroken. Enkele kapotte plekken bij de lampen. Wat schimmelplekken in de badkamer.

Our hosts were very welcoming and kind. The location was in the heart of the hanok village, yet was quiet and peaceful. The family room we stayed in was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The traditional homemade breakfast, which was included, was delicious!

Amazing location, amazing accommodation, and the couple running it are amazing and so sweet. We would stay there again with no hesitation, if we're ever back in Jeonju.

Beaucoup de lumière dans la chambre en raison des cloisons et fenêtres en papier mais rien à faire à part mettre un masque pour dormir ce sont les constructions traditionnelles !

Nous avons aimé le cadre traditionnel, l'emplacement en plein cœur du village Hanok. Nous avons également apprécié l'accueil de nos hôtes, leur bienveillance, le petit-déjeuner copieux. Nos hôtes sont super sympathiques, ils nous ont aidés pour appeler 2 taxis pour nous quatre et nos valises. Très agréable séjour et merci.

This marvelous hanok house is located right in the middle of all the Jeonju action. It looked and felt exactly like the pictures. The host Sara was so wonderful and helpful showing us all the possible ways to enjoy this place. She was so caring to my picky children's breakfast needs and clearly got 5 stars from them. This type of interaction is what makes me choose private hosts instead of boring typical tourist hotels. This house is a lesson of history itself. The construction, the sleeping style, and meals on a floor table and chairs. When I sipped my tea in the morning sitting on the porch listening to the birds and watching raindrops falling from the hanok's beautifully tiled roofs, I was transported to the peaceful machine free life of hundreds of years before. Thanks so much for this wonderful experience!

The hosts were very helpful and friendly. They made it a very special experience for our family. They had art activities and games for our kids and delicious breakfast. The location was perfect and very quiet.

Perfect little hanok guesthouse with very welcoming hosts. Location is excellent in the middle of the hanok village but aside of the street so very silent at night. Breakfast was great : the host presented us with a traditional breakfast and explained everything. We had a lovely discussion about her family’s history and her husband played traditional flute while we were enjoying the food! Sleeping on futons is definitely something we are not used to, and can be a bit hard but worth the experience!

Cultural and very clean

The bathroom was a bit too cramped, which is understandable given that the structure of the old wood house could hardly be further modified.

host was incredibly welcoming - meeting a directionally confused taxi driver and walking us to our accomodations. Giving us quick tour of the area and introducing us to the tourist office staff in town, and suggesting dinner places and tour ideas as well as making a reservation at a local dining facility.

As 60+ year old travelers, we knew we would be sleeping on the floor as part of the experience. The floor was nicely heated but our old bones were sore the next day. Appreciated the opportunity to have an authentic experience, but be prepared for some discomfort if you are older.

Hosts communication was great. Breakfast was delicious and the room was exactly as advertised.

We loved everything! Very clean! Very comfortable! The massage chair was great! I loved experiencing sleeping on the futon on the floor. Everything was so close by! The breakfast she made for us was so delicious! The host was very friendly and helped us get a taxi in the morning.

We adored our stay with Sarah at The Hanok. It made our Jeonju trip really memorable with excellent hospitality, incredible breakfast, quiet and peaceful, and hidden back from a beautiful bustling street. The room we chose was simple and comfortable, and nice to sleep in the traditional Korean style. Breakfast in tranquil courtyard was so special for each of the three mornings we stayed. Highly recommend! Thank you so much Sarah for our stay and your generous hospitality.

The place is really charming. Very well localised to visit the Hanok village. The host is welcoming. Perfect breakfast mixing european and korean food.

I had a warm welcome by the property owner, Lee and Sara. Both are able to speak English which was why I pick the property in the first place. The Hanok is right in the village which makes my exploring of the area so convenient. Even though is in village, the Hanok is slightly away from the main street, hence it was not noisy. The breakfast prepared by Sara was superb with fruits, rice cake, toast, egg and complete with Pu'er tea! I will not hesitate to stay with Lee and Sara if I go to Jeonju again!

Very authentic Hanok stay. The owners Lee and Sara are amazing, and so very helpful and genuine . you couldn’t find more gracious hosts. Lovely breakfast each morning . 

It was the perfect location; right in the middle of Hanok Village, but it was really peaceful and quiet. I arrived early, and was able to leave my luggage until it was time to check in. I received a lovely welcome tea, and there was a delicious breakfast in the morning. They even helped when I had a taxi mix-up.

well booking.com only offered us the one room. it would have been better if we are using the whole house. it’s so uncomfortable for 3 people to share one small room.

The host was excellent! She was very helpful with information for eating places. The location was excellent. The floor was heated which was very nice.

We booked a room with a bunk bed and floor futon. The beds were very hard as there was no mattress just thin padding which was a little disappointing. Floor futon is as expected.

it was everything I was hoping for and more. Our hosts were very pleasant and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. we had a very clean traditional room with a bathroom and hot water for shower. sleeping on the futon mattress was comfortable. we were served a beautiful breakfast in the garden. I cannot think of anything to make our stay better. Thank you !

The hosts are very kind and friendly. it was raining and they lend us umbrellas. They delivered on our room a very nice breakfast and after that they called us a taxi, since it was raining again and we had a baby they waited with us and with the umbrellas to protect us and the baby from the rain. Thank you very much. The location is perfect on Hanok village center. The rooms are traditional Hanok.

Loved everything. What a wonderful reception we received! The couple owner treated us with the utmost kindness, patience, and understanding. The room was warm and supremely comfortable. The accommodations were immaculate. We got everything that we needed.

The couple taking care of the place are fabulous, tried their best to treasure care of us, despite the communication barrier. Helped us a while lot when we were stuck due to bad weather. Not all heros wear capes.

There was nothing we disliked.

We loved everything about the hanok. The owners were friendly and welcoming and we appreciated the excellent knowledge of English. We booked a specific family room with a Western bed so that we could experience traditional hanok accommodation without sleeping on the floor (because of mobility problems). The room was so charming and also comfortable. The location of the hanok couldn't be better, in the very heart of Jeonju Hanok Village. Breakfast was a delight, with traditional rice cake, steamed sweet potato, slow-cooked eggs, fresh fruit and other treats.

Nothing we didn't like, the room was wonderful! If you are self-driving, be aware that it's a fair walk from the village car park so best to pack a small case or bag for your stay if you can.

The property is located in the heart of the Hanok, the hosts are kind and quick to provide assistance and recommendations (we asked where to go for dessert). The room was small (as expected) and had a private bathroom. The room had a window allowing for air circulation and AC for when it was too hot. We didn't know when breakfast would be and left before it was prepared. I'm sure it would've been amazing, we saw the host setting up the outdoor table for guests to enjoy breakfast. The bed was a blanket on top of a raised floor, I understand that beds in South Korea are not generally squishy/comfortable but this was too hard for me. I would've loved if a foam matt had been placed under the bedroll. I would definitely stay here again but I'd bring ibuprofen to offset the aches from sleeping on such a hard surface.

한옥마을안에 있는데 조용하고 너무 좋아요~ 위치도 좋고 주인분들이 정말 친절하십니다~~~ 저는 두번이나 갔었는데 나중에 또 가게된다면 여기서 잘거같네요

방에 들어서는 순간 편백나무 향이 은은해서 너무 마음에 들었고, 온수 수압이 충분히 쎄서 좋아요. 에어컨 냉장고 성능 좋고, 안마의자 피로를 풀기에 넘 좋았어요. 마당에 커피마실수 있는 별도 공간도 있고, 포도가 주렁주렁 열린 넒은 마당이 있어서 아이들도 좋아해요. 가장 좋은것읕 한옥마을 내부에 있어서 즐기기에 최고네요. 사장님께서 한 집에 사셔서 바로바로 서바스 대응해주시고 보안도 좋아요. 여름인데 모기도 거의 없어요. 화장실 매우 깨끗해요. 다시 이용하고 싶어서 명함만 사진찍어 왔네요. 약 100 미터 거리에 교동주차장이 있는데, 1박2일 주차요금이 15000원이고 아주 매우 친절해요.

가족끼리 가기에 너무 편안했습니다

가장 크다는 어울림방도 공간이 작고 서로 마주보고 있는 화장실 2개도 작아요. 가격은 비싼데, 가성비가 매우 실망스럽네요. 청결함과 조식은 괜찮아요.

조용하고 주인아저씨 친절하심. 조식으로 가래떡, 차, 과일등등 주셨는데 아주 맛있고 정갈하였음.

Cozy place in the middle of the Hanok village. There was a nice massage chair in the room. The area was quiet at night and we slept well. Breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning.

Exceptional pleasant stay. House owner was friendly and helpful. Room was exceptionally clean - even passed my wife’s standard who proclaimed that she could not find a single strand of hair.

추가 요는 미리 요청드리지 않으면 안줍니다. 2인당 1인요 배정이라... 조금은 불편한 잠자리였네요. 우풍은 있으나 추워서 못잘 정도는 아닙니다.

The host was welcoming and everything was very clean. The breakfast she cooked was delicious and traditional. She even gave us some grapes from her tree! Definitely recommend when staying in Jeonju!!

We had an amazing visit to jeonju and we were happy we chose the right place to stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities you would need during your stay. The small court yard has a table abd chair where you can have breakfast or have an afternoon cup of tea. Our hosts Sarah and her husband were very welcoming and warm. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Sarah cooked us an amazing breakfast and some home grown grapes for dessert. Very kind and educated people. I could of stayed there many more nights. The best time to visit jeonju is during the weekdays as the streets can get super busy on weekends.

주인분이 너무 친절하고 청소상태가 깔끔해서 좋았어요~ 한옥마을 안에있어서 돌아다니기 좋았는데 게스트하우스는 안쪽에 있어서 시끄럽지않더라구요 한옥집이라서 할머니집 놀러온거같고 좋았습니다 아침에 조식도 간단하니 맛있었어요

방은 그렇게 크지 않지만 아주 관리가 잘된 집이었어요. 화장실은 조금 좁았지만 한옥마을 안에 위치해 있어 좋았고. 침구가 깨끗해서 너무 좋았습니다. 그리고 기대하지 않은 조식! 대박!! 너무 맘에 듭니다~^^
