Breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from. Staff who were on duty were friendly and helpful. Located on ground floor and we had a booth which suited us as a family. There were also tables and chairs which would be more suited to people with mobility issues or who might not want to be in a booth. Room was a good size and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Tea/coffee available in the room which I like.
Staff in restaurant very good
Staff (man in reception when I arrived) poor, rude and iddnt listen
Lovely 4 star hotel , easy walk into town , spar minimarket next door and also an excellent Chinese takeaway . Very busy in the evenings . Loads of parking

Convenient
The children running up & down the corridors late at night making so much noise
Staff were frendly, the hotel had good food and facilities.
Nothing
Situated close to family. Clean. Spacious rooms. Very helpful friendly staff.
A little pricy for a room without breakfast.
Beautiful hotel staff very friendly Food and drinks were excellent
I informed the hotel upon booking that it was my partners birthday the weekend we stayed and they kindly arranged a selection of mini cakes to be left in our room for him when we checked in, it was very thoughtful and won’t be forgotten! Excellent customer service, the room was very clean and spacious and the restaurant was amazing!
The internet connection was a bit poor in our room but we managed.
The breakfast was not included in price of overnight stay, another £12 , but good selection.
As a disabled person, the distance tp & from reception & dining/ bar was rather exhausting.
Very friendly stuff, ability to make late check in / check out
Location
No breakfast and expensive room
Nice comfortable hotel. Food nice, especially breakfast
Food very expensive. Paid for late checkout but reception rang me at 12.10pm asking me to vacate the room
Nothing
The worst thing about the property was the staff
Perfect
Nothing it did what I expected staff were pretty awesome
For a birthday party we booked their advertised 'Basic Party Package' in their Gallery room. For a fixed price, I was sold by the Events Team: The room, a buffet, a DJ and personalised welcome mirror that would read a welcome message to be a stand out of the feature of the room. If a 'welcome mirror' is sold, you should absolutely expect a physical, reflective mirror, decorative, used as an entrance sign. I write this review to just let others know that the Seagoe's idea of a welcome mirror is what looks like a kids chalkboard with chalk writing placed hidden away in a corner. They mis-sold on this service and unfortunately their aftercare on our feedback was poor - Zara and Events Team just couldn't see it as an issue, not befitting for the 4* hotel location & customer service we chose. If you're particular about the small details for events, arrange your own welcome props and personalisation. Pleased to say they did deliver on the room, buffet and DJ, which were all excellent.
Seagoe Hotel has an inviting reception area, Front desk staff are welcoming as well as knowledgeable. we stayed as there was the Bingo Loco event on which was absolutely brilliant. a bit of waiting around outside before the event which could be better managed and laid out. The Rooms are of a very good standard, clean and modern with all the nice touches such as a mini Fridge, Tea/Coffee Making station, Iron/Iron Board, water etc, Hotel is extremely quiet and has a good atmosphere. we dined in the food area while there food was okay and staff in the restaurant were Friendly. all in all we had a great stay and would stay again should we be visiting Portadown in the near future.
Big room with fridge
Last minute booking excellent service and very friendly
It my third time to visit this hotel and I would highly recommend, this time we booked a superior room and it was fabulous so spacious- bar is great , food is great and staff are friendly
It was very clean and well kept
There was nothing that I did not like.
Good standard of accommodation and lovely breakfast
Smelly bathroom
Lovely huge bed, comfortable rooms with lots of storage space, lovely shower and excellent breakfast.
Great comfortable room and happy helpful staff
Beautiful
Nothing, all was excellent
Breakfast was excellent
Not enough seating in the bar.not enough tables for individual couples
Over priced / 189.00 and no breakfast Stayed 1 night
Dire experience. Wouldn't return. Poor atmosphere and service. Rooms disappointing. Skip it - try elsewhere. Would not return
The location, size of the room, the bathroom were superb. Very clean and comfortable.
The TV wasn't smart tv, couldn't connect to anything. There was no temperature control in the room.
Absolutely beautiful
Size of room was great. Dinner was also very tasty and staff excellent and really attentive.
The price for the room for a hotel in Portadown was pretty pricey to say the least and the added £50 refundable charge was also something I have rarely come across as it was due to be returned within 5 working days. Most hotels do not operate like this and when putting all the cost for the dinner, 4 drinks and hotel room €400 was steep.
We recently attended a black tie dinner in the Gallery in the Seagoe hotel the atmosphere in the hotel ok and welcoming ,we where there for a dinner and raffle etc and some music by a local dj ,we had a three course set meal which at the price of £55 a head sounded reasonable ,starter was soup of the day which was ok ,main course was a turkey roulade which didnt meet expectations as it was over seasoned ,the turkey was good enough but the rest of the plate was lacking in culinary skill a very thin slice of ham under the turkey over cooked ,a carrot and a parsnip whole and uncut roast potatoes that where greasy and undercooked inside ,and desert was a trio ,cheesecake , custard and raspberry sauce and a chocolate cake which was very stodgy and dry ,a long break between courses and a long wait for tables to be cleared between , a very under par meal which i felt was low preperation and definitely not value for money
Room was lovely and clean, Comfy bed.nice quiet hotel no noise in the hall or outside at night so can get a great night sleep.
Great day we did the bottomless Friday, had received a call earlier in the week to ask could we come at 6:30 instead of 7 but that we would still have our bottomless until 9, however this did not happen, disappointing in that respect. Praveen in the bar was great, he has such a wonderful way with people and he was very attentive to our needs, he is perfectly suited to his role! Rooms clean, comfortable and I will definitely stay again!

Staff
I like the room as very clean and nice some employees are very nice the atmosphere are calm and good
I didn't like the last employee didn't serve us well he had a bad face and also don't answer the questions we ask nicely like he don't want to work this happened like 00:00 to 01:00
I have stayed here twice while on business and have been impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, excellent service and comfortable room and public areas. Shout out to Mandy who always makes breakfast a great experience. Food is excellent and portions very generous. It is relaxed and homely whilst being very professional. I will stay again. (A little pricey though!)
Very nice hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The room was excellent. Staff were very friendly. The restaurant was very nice for an evening meal. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely hotel.
The size of the room (executive suite) The bed was very comfy
Asked a few times for the heating to be switched on, but this wasn't done
Breakfast was great. Good start to the day. Staff were excellent!
All was good
Spacious bedroom and bathroom Food was excellent
We were staying at hotel to attend a function elsewhere in the area. The staff were helpful and friendly and we were given an upgrade to executive suite. The check in staff member handled a situation very well when another guest interrupted during our check-in. The hotel was clean and comfortable with good facilities.
Food was great and very different to other chains. Unique menu.
Room was stunning, but was in the first section of corridor and lots of other resident pass through chatting, not realising people are sleeping.
Not really the hotels fault but there was a sewage smell coming from our bathroom. We were only staying one night and so told them when we left. Staff we all helpful.
The bed comfort was great! I would definitely recommend going here in Jpark My kids loves the waterslides especially the white and orange one.
This was my first ever "bottomless brunch" but the other people in my group had been to a few in Ireland and were able to compare, wow is all i can say, let's start with the drinks, we paid a £5 surcharge so that more cocktails were available to us & these were amazing, they are made to perfection, taste great & they dont hold back on the alcohol, our waiter also always ensured our drinks were never empty long, he would be straight over to take an order again & was so pleasant in doing so, the food was amazing too, i had onion baji with salted chilli chicken, curry chips & crispy onions & it was outstanding, the others in my party also said their food was amazing & that it was the best bottomless brunch they had been to, well done to the Seagoe for doing it right & showing the others how it should be done! We will definitely be back!
Very pleasant and efficient staff. Love the refurbishment. The food was outstanding.
Room was nice and large enough for 3 people
Location isn’t great, not a walking distance to anything really, no gym facilities
It's a nice modern looking property in a nice location
It's just a little bit too far from the middle of Portadown
My experience with seagoe hotel is highly appreciable.. One of my friend suggest me to have breakfast in seagoe hotel.. Me and my family had breakfast last sunday and Monday (13,14)of this month... We had seagoe eggs Benny, cheese Bacon omelet and full fry breakfast... Was amazing...we had the best breakfast so far this year.... We will come again and again..... My wife was very Happy with her food.... Thanks to the chef who made my day wonderful.... Thank you chef....
The staff and the decor were amazing
This was the first time that my wife and l had been to Northern Ireland. The staff here at the Seagoe hotel were very friendly and helpful. Having arrived early from a hotel not too far away we were not expecting our room to be ready. We knew that they had been really full the night before because we had tried to book in. They found us a room though and we hardly had to wait at all. The bed was great and the room was very quiet. The breakfasts included quite possibly the largest omelette in the world. By the time l had given it my best shot l could not manage anything else! There must have been double figure eggs in that omelette. We had a nice meal in the hotel restaurant that evening. The steak was cooked perfectly and the waiter took pains to check that l knew what l was ordering… medium rare. We had a nice bottle of Rioja to go with it as well. Though the car park seemed full in the evening by the time we left in the morning it was pretty much empty. They have a large car park. The hotel is very much a hub of the community, with several community focussed events going on during our stay. Well done to all the staff at the Seagoe Hotel
Breakfast was poor overcooked bacon and sausage, wasn’t offered cereal or fruit juice.
Beautiful building and good location
For a 4 star hotel i was dessapointed there was no fridge in the room. My son was sweltered with heat as no air con. Sadly it wasn't a pleasant stay and definitely very expensive and not to have those facilities was very disappointing.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Foods crap quite literally asked for roast dinner gave me a fricking slab of tuna and had the audacity to put gravy on it roasties have been marinating in the fricking gutters for abt 3 days hard as a rock and to top it all off there was fricking glitter in the gravy
Friendly staff comfortable room amazing food
