Nuestra estancia en Sayong House ha sido genial. La ubicación es perfecta, en pleno centro de Ubud, pero al mismo tiempo es un lugar tranquilo y sin ruido, algo que se agradece muchísimo después de un día recorriendo la ciudad. Las habitaciones estaban muy bien, limpias, cómodas y cuidadas. El alojamiento además tiene muchísimo encanto, especialmente por tener un templo dentro, que le da un ambiente muy especial y auténtico. Pero, sin duda, lo mejor ha sido el personal. Todos han sido encantadores, muy amables, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar con una sonrisa. El desayuno también nos ha encantado: muy rico y preparado con cariño. Un sitio totalmente recomendable si buscas estar en el centro de Ubud, pero disfrutando a la vez de tranquilidad y un ambiente auténtico. Volveríamos sin dudarlo.

De fantastische ligging van Sayong House. Een oase van rust middenin het erg drukke Ubud. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Gaven goede tips voor een tour. Hielpen zeer vriendelijk bij het oplossen van een probleem.

Badkamer was erg gedateerd.

Hotel con mucho encanto, parece que estés dentro de un templo. Habitaciones muy grandes y cómodas con balcón privado. La ubicación es excelente, en pleno centro pero en un callejón sin ruido. Recomendaría sin duda este alojamiento!!!

Badkamer Deze is aan renovatie toe. Aanwezige wasservice ( tegen betaling uiteraard😉) erg handig!

Location is excellent. The staff and the facilities are very welcoming. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Just overall the best place.

Nothing to add

I like that it’s central, easy access to restaurants and everything Ubud has to offer, the staff were exceptionally nice, and also very responsive via WhatsApp and they helped me with the luggage. The garden is also beautiful- very peaceful place in the hectic centre of Ubud. They also have a temple and they pray and light incense every morning, which is lovely. They also offer free drinking water, which helps save on plastic bottles. There is also a good size table and chairs on your personal deck- so you can fit if do some work on the computer- great value for money

It’s a lot bit dates, the water pressure was very low- it’s at the end of a long ally, and the pool is a bit small- can’t do laps- and also you have to climb these steps to get there- I didn’t end up using it

Personnel très sympathique et accueillant. Petit déjeuner en terrasse. On passe commande, il nous l amène, très apprécié. Très calme. Literie confortable.

Amazing value for money. Couldn’t have asked for better. Lovely staff, perfect location, comfy beds and clean. There was also a refillable water station and a working fridge combined with a beautiful pool.

Great location within walking distance of shops and cafes. A really beautiful ambience. And a great deal.

The room was basic but clean,. It had open shutters so could have been a lot of mosquitos but I wasnt bothered in the dry season. No car access for the final 100 m - just scooters.

It can be more clean, fresh cups with clean tablet and clean bath equipment (soap dispenser for example). In the afternoon the smell from the bathroom plughole was very very unpleasant…

L’emplacement et le confort

De locatie is top, je loopt het rustige straatje uit en je zit in het bruisende Ubud. Personeel was super lief en ze hadden ook Was service was heel fijn was. Het gratis filter water was ook een fijne toevoeging.

Het enige was dat de kamer een beetje damp bleef, dit was ook wel rond de dagen dat het had geregend helaas.

Kadek and her staff were ever so kind and changing bookings or arranging trips was super easy. Sayong House is so central in Ubud that it‘s easy to walk around or grab a bike in no time.

Lindo lugar, muy céntrico y con buena area para caminar y muchos lugares buenos para comer y mini markets. Caminando se llega a muchos lugares de interes. El personal es muy amable. Lo recomendamos para disfrutar de Ubud y sus maravillas.

Really good spot if your not too bothered about rooms. Negatives were that it is up an incline alley, which was hard for suitcases. There was also no elevators, worker helped us with bags. But my 70y/o mother inlaw struggled a bit with the stairs. You could request a room on the ground floor which I assume they would be more than happy to accommodate though. Also the shower and the toilet are same room with no walls or separation. (Shower goes directly onto toilet floor, like a wetroom, which is a slipping hazard)

Climbing to top floor with bags

La ubicación y su tranquilidad pese a estar en el centro de Ubud. El desayuno servido en la terraza de la habitación también muy bien. Es un buen sitio para campamento base para hacer excursiones en la zona de Ubud y cerca de muchos restaurantes y tiendas.

Los baños, que estaban un poco anticuados y las puertas que no daban mucha seguridad

Había olor fuerte a humedad en la habitación. Las sábanas estaban sucias y había objetos personales de otra persona cuando llegamos. Tuvimos que pedir que nos la cambiaran, no accedieron a cambiar las toallas también.

La ubicación, la atención del personal y el diseño típico de casa balinesa. Podías encargar laundry de un día para otro. Camas cómodas y ducha amplia.

El desayuno, era económico pero con poca variedad para niños. Solo café y té.

The room was nice and traditional, the bed was huge and they had a sheet on the bed which I like. Access to drinking water to fill your bottle was good. The air con was OK, not great, so the ceiling Fan was well used. I liked the sound of the fountain at night. The location is great down an alley way off the main street. Walking access only and watch the Dog poo land mines in the evening. Lots of cafes, restaurants and massage places in the area. Money exchanges close by. Access to everything you need really. Monkey Forest is walk-able from there. So is the Ubud Palace for the night Dancing displays. I loved the pool, despite the fact they are waiting for repairs to it, it was still lovely to swim in. Good Value for money and lovely Lady/family who runs it.

Breakfast wasn't great, it's cheap but better to eat in a local cafe, Sorry. The toilet is beyond the shower so you have to cross the wet floor tiles to get to the loo once you have had a shower. Need some nets on the windows so you don't have to pull all the curtains for privacy. The rooms are dark with all the curtains drawn so you need a light on. Air con was a bit noisy at night but seems to be the norm in Bali. Noisy Guests arriving at 4 am en-mass, too early to check in but not the owners fault.

Enjoyable small and cozy rustic bed-and-breakfast with access to a small pool. The staff was wonderful. The price is hard to beat and the location is in walking distance from Ubud Palace. The wood carvings on the doors are amazing and the beds were comfortable. We did not explore the food options, but opted for finding cafés in town.

This property is really good as to stay as the center of Ubod and shopping area is walking distance and accessible to all necessity. Staff are very friendly and up to time to update your arrival even its late in the night.

Accueil facile, personnel serviable mais qui vous laisse tranquille pendant tout le séjour, personne n'essaie, à aucun moment, de vous organiser d'excursions qui sont pourtant un des gros business de la ville... Hôtel en plein centre mais incroyablement au calme. Nuits excellentes, matins tranquilles.. Chambres très spacieuses, bonne literie, frigo, lavabo, armoire... Salle de bain vieillotte mais tt fonctionne (douche bien chaude même si pas bcp de pression) Superbe terrasse parfait pour chiller, prendre un thé ou autre petit déjeuner. Menage et lits faits ts les jours, serviettes changées si besoin. Super localisation, tout à proximité... Super rapport qualité-prix, hormis les problèmes de wifi, on y a passé un excellent séjour.

Un seul gros bemol et c'est dommage car sinon ce serait vraiment top (le point est perdu là): Wi-Fi très insuffisante et très instable. (On a été obligés de consommer une partie de nos gigas internationaux persos). (Un plus petit bémol: piscine mignonne mais à l'extérieur de la cour principale, au fond de la ruelle et sur une sorte de jardin terrasse...les pavés du fond se décollent donc un panneau signale pour l'instant de faire attention en attendant une maintenance future....).

Right in the middle of Ubud, but quiet.

Not good wanted to book for week hoeever only got four days. Even after thr first night i was asked to shift rooms. Second tried one of their recommended tours and told pay twice the average price of 225,000 rp simply i was the only on the tour seems misrepresented. Tour company was dodgy and several degrees of separation ( had two drivers in one morning payment went to neither of them) from the contact at the hotel.

The a/c worked great!

The bathroom was rudimentary basic. The pillow smelled like human natural oil. No breakfast offered and the staff did not speak any English. The walk to the hotel/house was down a deep, dark, and uneven pathway with many entrances to other home/hotel stays. In order to lock the room when you leave, you are given a key for a padlock that hooks two door rings together.

最低限部屋はきれいに保たれていて、コスパ良し。 一度蛇口から黒く濁った水がでましたが、しばらく流してたら戻りました。あと、鏡とシャワーの位置が高すぎて157センチの私には使いづらかったです。背の低い方は要注意。

Air conditioning was poor, so was the wifi. Really cool buildings though.

O lugar é incrível de bonito e super bem localizado. O jardim é muito bem cuidado os quartos tem uma varanda privada onde é servido o café da manhã. A porta de entrada do quarto é uma obra de arte. O quarto é bem espaçoso. O banheiro deixa um pouco a desejar por que não tem box e o chuveiro fica no meio do banheiro. Quando você toma banho molha tudo. Mas é bem limpinho. O café da manhã é limitado, vem um prato feito. Não tem suco. Somente café e chá.

Wonderful staff, wonderful location beautiful surroundings. So close to wonderful cafes. This place is great value for money and I will keep coming back. I have also advised many friends of this property over the years.

only problem was the bathroom needed some attention. Would have liked to have a fridge, especially this trip as I was there for a longer stay.

Really happy with my stay overall. The area was very convenient and i was able to walk everywhere i wanted to go, lots of food options nearby, and many shops. The room was large and comfortable and i apperciated the free breakfast delivered to my room daily. All the staff were super kind and helpful.

Hidden Gem in the very center of Ubud. Super friendly and helpful staff! Would definitely recommend.

We had a really good stay at this hotel, only bad point is the mattress that is hard as a rock.. but overall everything was nice!

Brilliant location, a quiet oasis just off a Main Street with lots of fantastic bars and restaurants & attractions nearby. Lush, large garden with porches that overlook the garden, pool nearby.

The WiFi was patchy. Only really worked outside on the porch. Boosters needed? A minor complaint, overall.

Staff are very nice. If you want a quiet place in the middle of city Centre , this is the place . It’s near restaurants, shopping centers , markets . The property itself is quite vintage, the building exterior was amazing . Karma , who picked us up in the airport was very nice and he drove us around Bali, highly recommended.

The staff was lovely, the next day we didn't leave until late and they let us leave our stuff all day at the front desk. The pool was great and the breakfast was very tasty. The location was perfect
