El Chalten Aparts

Martin was the greatest concierge

Very clean and conveniently located. Extremely friendly and helpful host.

Clean, comfortable, nice amenities for our stay. Tea kettle, bicycles, hair dryer, toaster oven, Plenty of dishes, plentiful breakfast served to room daily. Walk or bike to trails in town. Only complaint is that a lot of restaurants and shops were closed but that is due to the slower season and not the apartment. We had beautiful weather for hiking

Está en buenas condiciones y la atención es buena

Cesar was helpful meeting us on a day there was a power outage. His place was very clean and well appointed. I would recommend this rental.

We had very enjoyable stay at El Chalten Aprts. The manager Romin is a very nice lady and very responsible to all our requests. The apartment is very spacious and can host three people. The apartment looks new, clean, has basically all cooking pots and utensils. The apartment is very quite and close to major trailheads in El Chalten area. I highly recommend it all anyone who plan to visit El Chalten.

Property was right in town, right inside mt Fitz Roy area. I liked the breakfast, it’s sent to your room late afternoon for you to eat at your pleasure. Yogurt, OJ, and milk are placed in your fridge along with fresh Calafate spread and Dulce de leche. Outside you have apples and bananas, along with bread. Super nice host, place is cozy and comfortable enough for 4 people.

A great place to stay!

A well-maintained and well-equipped property with friendly and kind owners. The beds are super comfortable with nice bedding. The rooms have everything you need to cook. Much thought has gone into everything, and the price is somehow very reasonable. Highly recommended!

The apartment is perfect. It has kitchen which we used to cook food that we like. The staffs are very friendly. They also provide bikes and hiking poles. Truly enjoy the stay.

Our stay was amazing. The front desk (Romina) was great. We had an issue with our vehicle and she went above and beyond to assist. Gracias

Just stayed 2 units with a group of friends for 4 nights. I would highly recommend this apartment to future travelers as we are extremely happy about our experience. The apartment is super clean, spacious, and offer everything we need as hikers. The owner and staff bring breakfast every evenings as they know we leave early in the morning each day. The owner is very responsive to answer our questions, and keep communication active through WhatsApp prior and during our trip. Our checking-in is easy, we arrived late morning, the apartment were made available to us immediately. We got good information about hiking trails and restaurants. The apartment units are in very convenient location, it is only 7 blocks to bus station and walkable to most trails nearby. Not mention that all the stores, restaurants, and shopping place are within walking distance. On our last day of leaving, my husband forgot a suitcase inside the apartment after he locked door. We were able to reach out to Romina, and asked her husband locate the suitcase and rushed to the bus station the very last minute before the bus left. I cannot thank Romina and Gustavo enough for their help. They are super friendly and they made our trip in El Chalten memorable and pleasant. Thanks so much!!!

Clean cute quiet stay. 10 min walk from the bus station. Walk a block to food, a couple of blocks to coffee bakery grocery. Did not back up to hostel or bar so it was quiet. The host was helpful with dining options. As a climbing guide he also offered to connect us with tours. We were upstairs, they have downstairs options if needed. The room was well appointed with coffee and tea, breakfast tray with apples, toast, cereal, milk and OJ which was appreciated. Someone came and tidied up daily. Enjoyed our stay here, the host and location.

Location was great, rooms are cozy with high ceilings. We cooked for one meals and kitchen had all stuffs. You can use their hiking sticks from there without any charge. Manage by a wonder couple. We both guys went for a hike but wife of the owner provided map to my wife to take a shorter hike in the city and helped them how to turn on the woven. They are both husband and wife so sweet, cooperative, humble and sweet. MUST STAY HERE

The location and service. We arrived later than expected and it was not a problem at all.

It was quite warm in the apartment, as there was only a small window, it was hard to cool it during the night.

Foi uma estadia muito boa, os donos eram atenciosos, o quarto era mantido limpo e os cafés da manhã entregues no quarto no dia anterior.

This was a great find for 3 people. We were very comfortable, being able to spread out over two stories with the airy loft. The space was thoughtfully designed and well executed. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Delicious breakfast items were much appreciated. The location is a few blocks from the main area. We appreciated the quiet. Highly recommend!

Clean and new apartments. Excellent staff services. Free use of the trekking sticks and bikes in town. Free breakfast daily. However I Would not recommend for small children under age 4 family since our apartment has two beds on the loft with Hugh opening on the railings. This will be a dangerous layout for young children.

ausgezeichnetes Apartment mit hervorragendem Service.Lediglich fehlten zum Kochen einige Küchenutensilien

Great experience! Thanks

Muy recomendable la estadía en El Chalten Aparts, exceletnes habitaciones, muy completas y limpías

We had a great stay in El Chalten at the El Chalten Aparts. The apartment was clean, comfortable and convenient to access everything in El Chalten - the hikes, restaurants, shops, etc. Martin, who met us there and assisted with any questions or information we needed was very helpful and friendly. A perfect stay for a few days hiking in this beautiful part of Argentina.

The owner was very helpful recommending trails AND offering trekking sticks free (lending)

O quarto que ficamos é fantástico em todos os sentidos. Tudo super limpo. Pensado com carinho para acolher mesmo. As camas confortáveis. Os cobertores quentinhos. As louças, panelas, talheres, tudo muito organizado. Café da manhã delicioso com tudo que precisa para quem vai para o trekking. Calefação que mantém a temperatura do ambiente agradabilíssima. Chuveiro top. Atendimento cinco estrelas, de verdade!!!

confirmation no. 4090432023 as you can see I am a genius level 3 customer, and I will travel an other 6 months intending to use Booking.com 50-100 times more. But with this booking I have consideration to look for other booking options. Here is my story: I wanted to book first via Airbnb the price was USD 513.92, there was no response, I had time pressure to book, so I found the same El Chalten Aparts in Booking.com as well USD 748 which is USD 234.08 more expensive! Booking.com immediately confirmed this booking even so it was later to book than Airbnb booking. I now found out that it is the same person in El Chalten Aparts who is offering the apartment in Airbnb and Booking.dom, it is the same apartment. I got no response with the Airbnb much lower price but immediately with Booking, com. - in my first night I had no hot water - the Wifi condition is not working and I can not do my work intended to do in these 4 nights staying here, I booked this apartment because I have more space for work than in a hotel room. Your page indicates Wifi 8.3 which normally is very good to work, my room is the far end and perhaps this is one reason Wifi is not working, I wrote to the owner that Wifi is too slow and I can not work with it. BUT THERE WAS NO RESPONSE, AND NO OPTION TO GO TO A ROOM WITH BETTER WIFI. For me this is not a SUPERB apartment, totally overpriced with booking.com I tried to go to your link "Found this stay cheaper elseswhere?" but it just directs me to my reservation information, you also are ignoring the fact that it is somewhere much much cheaper than iwith Booking.com. As a common practice several pages will match the same price like the lower price found! I am frustrated as a good Booking.com client, the same person does not answer Airbnb, but even later booking with Booking.com is immediately responding. I feel cheated and the apartment is not to my expectation.

Very easy

Great hosts who gave perfect recommendations for hikes in the area. The space was perfect. Great location, clean, and had everything we could have hoped for. Really excellent value. We'd recommend to anyone! Thanks!

Very friendly owners and very flexible…. We should up without reservation and they were able to accommodate us.

All was great, but was a bit hot and we couldn’t open the windows to get a breeze. Once again the facilities were great this is just a minor item.

Romina & Guatavo are great receptionists. Great communication, checked in the morning instead of the afternoon. Gustavo is a mountaineer and will give you his best reco for a nice hike. The apartment is super clean and modern. 2 blocks away from the buzz of downtown. The road is not paved and the surroundings are not super nice but the value of this peaceful location is worth it. Breakfast is included and delivered to the apartment the day before.

Convenient into town, bus station, and the hikes. Clean and having a kitchen is a great plus in El Chalten. Breakfast was delivered to the room in a tray each day. While sufficient, it was the same each day and so could be better. 😊

Nice, clean, well-organized place to stay. Will do it again.

Wonderful host Romina and Gustavo were a pleasure and helpful beyond words. Highly recommend the place.

We stayed in El Chalten Aparts for 3 nights in late October. The check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. We were greeted warmly by the front desk representative and also given advice about Treks we could take on throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable, complete with full kitchen and clean bathrooms. The daily breakfast being left during our time out was very nice, as it felt more like a Bed & Breakfast vs. a hotel. The cleaning staff also did a great job and played with our toddler which was great to see. In terms of location, its perfectly positioned about two blocks from the main road but close walking distance to all areas and even a few trailheads. I would highly recommend for anyone planning to stay in El Chalten!

A spacious apartment with bedroom and adjoining fully fitted kitchen/dining area for the price of a standard hotel room. Great for people who sometimes want to prepare their our own meals or packed lunches as a break from buying out. The owner couldn't have been more helpful or laid back - always on call by WhatsApp. Everything was well maintained. We had 4 happy days/nights there and would throughly recommend it.

The space was very clean, had huge windows with lots of sunlight, the staff person Martin was very friendly and helpful, and breakfast we delivered to our room each afternoon. The place was great! We would stay here again. I will say that it was a little far off the main streets and the side roads are all gravel (not paved) which is the case all over the town so if you have a rolling suitcase, you’ll need to carry it!

Great place to stay! A little far from “downtown” but nothing too crazy. Clean and provided breakfast.

lovely

Super hosts, very helpful

We had the loft type apartment. Apartment was clean and adequate. Good breakfast.

Breakfast was good. Great hot water.

Couldn’t pay with debit or credit card or through the booking app. Options are cash or PayPal in which there was an additional $40 fee. Little sleep either night due to extremely loud people above. slamming doors, moving furniture, dragging items all hours of the night. Front door key was so hard to lock that I left the apartment open most of the time. Non responsive to messages once we had arrived. Spider running around in one of our rooms.

My wife and I stayed here and had an unfortunate experience with the owner. Overall, we really liked the apartment and facilities however there was an issue with payment that was not appropriate and uncomfortable. We had booked through Expedia.com.ar in Argentinian pesos the day before coming to the property. We had a confirmed message from Expedia that we had paid on our credit card in the amount we had agreed to in pesos. After we had been at the property for two days (of our 3 day visit) we noticed our credit card hadn’t been charged yet which was strange. The owner then informed us that day that we had to pay in USD or cash pesos in an amount that was way more than what we had booked. He was quite aggressive in his communication and made us feel very uncomfortable. In the end he forced us to pay $200 more than we had booked for because he was already making us feel very uncomfortable and we didn’t want the confrontation to further escalate. We showed him our confirmation message from Expedia and he insisted that was Expedias problem and we had to take that up with them. It’s too bad, the owner is unethical because the place is quite nice. We realized afterwards if you read the google reviews that there are more stories like this about the male owner in particular. We would not recommend staying because of this.

Great place to stay in El Chaulten. Gustavo thought of everything. Clean and near restaurants and coffeehouses, and a nice view of Mt. Fitzroy. Highly recommended!

A super value great space with friendly accommodating owners. Kitchen space, milk/juice/cerial delivered to door, everything is close in El Chatlen. Clean and safe. The only two things I did not like were the keys were difficult to open the door and would be a fire hazard to get out in a hurry. And the parking was ample but rough - just like everywhere in El Chalten.

Very friendly hosts who surprised us by bringing a breakfast at 3 p.m. (not listed as a service included in the price). Unfortunately, it comprised a lot of sweet muffins and lightweight white/brown bread, which avoid. If you've eaten German/Scandinavian dark breads, you will understand. But others might appreciate it. We found what we wanted in town and preferred paying for it ourselves. Finding the place difficult at first due to no street signs even though they have official names. Fortunately, El Chalten is a small place and so it is difficult to get lost. The bed was comfortable and the apt. very clean. Good shower. Unfortunately, like many places in Argentina, the toilet bowl is very narrow and so it is easy to soil the sides, thus requiring 2-3 flushes... and the use of a toilet brush. Perhaps our biggest criticism is that our bedroom was much too warm as there is no air circulation. We did not have the heating on (12C or 54F maximum outdoors) and opened the bathroom window to cool down the place. However, since we were on the ground floor. we could not open the main living room window as anyone could have climbed in... And there is no bedroom window. A lot of guests going up/down the stairs were pretty noisy (inconsiderate). However, great location in terrms of getting to all the hiking trails. El Chalten is magical and even though it is expensive compared to Ushuaia and El Calafate, it is still worthwhile spending 3 days here.

Clean, well appointed, spacious and comfortable room. I had a lot of trouble unlocking the door, but everything else was wonderful. Staff is very nice and breakfast tray was hiker friendly. Small trek to trailhead and downtown. I wish I had stayed longer.

the apartment was clean and equipped with everything for a short stay.

The room was very nice, and very clean. Gustavo gave us amazing tips for treks and restaurants when we arrived which was very appreciated. A decent breakfast was given to us each evening which was ideal for getting up early and getting out. We were very appreciative of our own kitchen. Location also perfect.

Bit expensive, but so is everywhere in El Chaltén in high season. Bit awkward having to pay such high amounts in cash, make sure to bring plenty of cash with you because there is nowhere to get cash in El Chaltén.

Very nice and comfortable apartment. Gustavo was a great host. Helped us with restaurants and trails. Breakfast arrangement of delivering the night before worked great. We highly recommend El Chalten Aparts.

The staff, location and cleanliness were perfect

So glad I stayed here! Awesome hosts, great apartments, and close to everything you need in town.

Great place to stay! We had a group of seven and booked two Apts, which was plenty of space for all of us. Two blocks away from the Main Street. Very easy to get around for food and hiking trails. The host provided daily breakfast and were always available if we needed anything. Would stay again!

We loved the apartment—very clean and modern, the bikes to ride around town, and the breakfasts, delivered to the room.

The hosts were lovely and your room gets cleaned everyday. We left early and did not have time to clean up after the (excellent) breakfast (that they provide). When we got back from 20km of walking, everything was clean! Really nice!

The beds were short for me 1,87 and my girlfriend of 1,83.

Great place. Will book there again if revisit.

Very good location and very clean

The apartment was beautiful! Gustavo, the owner brought us a really nice breakfast each day at 5pm for the next morning. Gustavo was extremely flexible with our travel plans and we really really enjoyed our stay!

There seemed to be a bewildering range of accommodation options in El Chalten, but I'm so glad that I eventually chose the El Chalten Apartments. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and was perfectly located for the trail heads and the coach station. I received a message from Martín via WhatsApp to check my arrival details, and he was kind enough to wait for me at the apartments due to the late arrival of my coach. He was also a great source of information regarding possible hikes during my stay. There were lots of thoughtful touches, including free use of bikes and the fact that the following day's breakfast (cereal, fresh milk, fruit, breads, jam, cake, juice) was delivered to the apartment in the evening, which meant that I could get up and out early to hit the trails in time for sunrise. The scenery surrounding the apartments, and El Chalten itself, is spectacular, and this was the perfect base for exploring it.

There was no storage place except for 4 hangers. We had to keep everything in our suitcases. The owners are nice and helpful.

Its a brand new property, modern and sleek, with a kitchen and all appliances, great location, amazing friendly attentive hosts Romina and Gustavo. Breakfast delivered to your apartment 7:30 , all fresh and filling. You just cant wish for more in El Chalten . Highly recommend

The owners are very helpful and location is good. You can walk to the bu stop

EL Chalten Aparts was in a great location with a 10 minute walk anywhere around the city and to the trail heads. Rooms were clean and very comfortable and a free breakfast was included. Gustavo was an awesome host and was very helpful in planning day treks and recommending places to eat around town.

We had a great stay! The owners were friendly and very helpful. Gave us great tips on where to hike and where to eat. The room was perfect. It was clean, modern and had everything we needed.

I highly recommend this chalten aparts! Romina is very professional and very pleasant. Fantastic service room very clean. I loved this place.
