I have visited there a few times as my meetings are on nearby wine farms. Breakfast is great, bed etc. is very nice.

The only issue was the shower, the regulation of cold water to get the shower from piping hot to suitable temperature was a bit challenging and took a while

The scenery and breakfast was excellent

We were staying there for two nights for my son's wedding which was at another venue. The accommodation was clean, up to standard and well kept with everything we needed for our stay. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to see to all our needs. Especially Heleen went out of her way to see to any needs we had and is a jewel. The breakfast both mornings was warm and scrumptious. I would really recommend this accommodation to anyone.

The room we were in ( room nr 3) had no place in the shower to put your soap & shampoo on. Everything had to stand on the floor which was quite irratating. The place is also not wheelchair friendly and older people will find it quite difficult to access the facility because the only way to reach the lodge is with very steep stairs (alot of them)

Close to where I needed to be. Lovely grounds and beautiful dining area. Warm bedding. Liked the sherry in the entrance - nice touch.

There was half used soap in our shower- still there. The shower also wasn't deep cleaned in a while. No hairdryer in our room and the one they gave me didn't have a plug adapter to plug it in. There was no one to help me find one so I went to find in the open other rooms. When we saw the other rooms for standing open we felt we were put in the worst room. The others had gorgeous bathrooms. The one I was in was not in the best condition. Breakfast was okay but tasted microwaved. People walked in looking for assistance, rang the bell multiple times and no one came - they left again when no one helped them.

We waited a bit for breakfast,but we understood, because breakfast is prepped as we arrived. We battled to get the coffee machine going,but It was sorted. More seating for the tables

The convenience to a wedding we attended.

Leaky bathroom, which they were aware of and didn't' bring to our attention. We were looking forward to a mountain and not tennis court view.

There were lots of mosquitoes in the room and no repellant. Although there is a sign that tap water is not safe to drink there were no bottled water in the rooms.

Was niet op ons gerekend. Onduidelijk waar we de sleutel moesten halen geen contact met de host.

The room was big and breakfast was delicious

De locatie is geweldig, het landgoed is mooi. En het huisje groot. Goede uitvalsbasis voor leuke activiteiten in de omgeving.

Er was geen personeel aanwezig, waardoor we geen vragen konden stellen. In de keuken van het huisje misten een pan en een aansteker, die moesten we vragen bij de keuken van de bruiloft; die nog gaande was. Jammer dat er buiten geen fijne zitplekken zijn. De badkamer is verouderd.

Breakfast was descent. Location is tranquil.

Bed not comfortable mattress was too hard. General leaving area was not smelling fresh and crisp. The shower had some else's hair.

Good location for Stellenbosch. Nice comfy beds Good coffee at breakfast The wedding party and guests were all very happy and friendly.

One bedroom .... nr 1, did not have a airconditioning remote. Luckily we could use the one we had in our other room. It was very hot, so the aircon was a blessing ! Breakfast was pre-cooked and cold.

Clean. Cozy. Lovely bed. Good black-out curtains. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

I just had little struggle(s) ... 1. There was a fridge in my room, but it was loud (even when turning the thermo down), and the vibrations could be heard via the wooden flooring into the bed. I switched the fridge off. 2. There was also wind in the passage (not my passage ... I see how this can be interpreted ...lol ... but no), so I had to push a chair against the door to remove the door rattle. 3. I really really struggled to adjust the water temperature to shower! Either it was too hot or too cold. It was a juggling act. Otherwise, it was super quiet and had a great sleep. I will go back again.

Exceptional Breakfast.Karin served punctually at08:00. Delicious coffee. Innovative, unique egg presentation and taste. Emphasis on presentation of the egg 👑🏆. Location therapeutic, intriguing, harmonious land-air-mountains-vegetation-people.

The duvét was somewhat short for my physique. The extra blanket helped overcome the discomfort of the ‘for me personally’ short duvét.

The cottage was spacious enough and had all the amenities we would need. There was provision of solar power in case of a power outage. Sufficient blankets were provided in case of cold weather.

There was a very, very large number of worms/millipede on the outside wall when we arrived. By the following morning, they had begun entering the cottage, and by the second morning, we found them in all spaces inside, including in the bed. It was horrifying, to say the least. Check in process lacked any form of hospitality. Keys were handed over and you were sent on your way. Wifi was faulty and when I enquired I was informed by the (unbothered) check in lady that it must be the weather with no attempt at resolution. No provision for food on the premises (including how breakfast should or could work). If there was we weren't informed about it at check in. The cottage is right at the entry gate with full exposure to traffic noise. There are movement sensors outside the cottage that trigger an alarm. Considering that there are two cottages next to each other, it does become bothersome and worrisome (since its meant for alerting to possible intruders?) when others are moving around outside.

Very beautiful place with an awesome view on the wineries and Table Mountain, especially when you also walk around a bit. Shower was very difficult to operate to get proper warm water… Apart from that very very pleasant stay.

The location was ideal, with plenty of wine estates nearby. Our unit was spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We will definitely be returning!

While the nearby road might be a concern for some, it wasn't an issue for us.
