Struttura stupenda, una piccola angolo di paradiso poco distante dal caos totale di Sairee. Emily, la ragazza che ci ha accolti è stata sempre accorta, gentilissima e pronta a darci consigli o accogliere le nostre richieste. Sia l’appartamento che la struttura sono dettati di tutti i comfort . Unica “difficoltà “ da mettere in conto sono la salita ripida e delle lunghe scale da affrontare ogni volta che si rientra a casa… Ma è un male che ne vale la pena una volta che si aprono le porte della villa e si è immersi nel lusso all’interno della giungla!

We hebben ontzettend genoten van het privézwembad met meer dan prachtige uitzicht over de jungle. De badkamer is overdekt, maar lijkt wel een tuin. Heel groot en zo mooi gedecoreerd met planten. Het 2-persoonsbed is heel breed en voorzien van een klamboe. De accomodatie biedt een gratis transferservice van de haven en retour. Zeer vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar personeel (ook via WhatsApp).

Eigenlijk helemaal niets. Mochten we ooit terugkomen op Kho Tao, dan zouden we absoluut weer kiezen voor dit hotel. Wanneer je slecht ter been of oud bent, dan raden we het af vanwege het sterke reliëf om de villa te bereiken. Voor ons was het echter geen probleem!

The villa is amazing, located in a secluded place yet not far from the main street and restaurants. The bathroom, bedroom and outdoor pool have a beautiful design.

It is.possibly the most beautiful, luxurious and fabulous place we've ever, ever stayed. The service was perfect and discreet, the pictures are amazing but even they can't do it justice. You have to feel it!!

Dauernde Stromunterbrüche für wenige Sekunden, auch Mitten in der Nacht, wodurch die Klimaanlage vergass, dass sie nicht leuchten und die halbe Villa beleuchten soll, völlig unterdimensionierte Klimaanlage, die die Temperatur tagsüber kaum unter 29 Grad brachte trotz Dauerbetrieb, dadurch schlechte Sclafqualität, die über 30 Treppenstufen, um die Villa überhaupt zu erreichen, der eingeschränkte Zimmerservice (Song Kran kein Service), kein Frühstückangebot, durch Bäume eingeschränkte Sicht auf den Sonnenuntergang. Über alles gesehen ist der Preis für das Gebotene zu hoch.

Our stay was fantastic, The villas were beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located for a relaxing getaway. Emily was wonderful friendly, helpful, and always available when we needed anything, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

The most beautiful accommodation spot in my life, the staff is incredibly nice and very helpful. Location is great, it's very close to local bars and to the main beach. Wunderschöne Villa mit Meerblick und Sonnenuntergang. Emily und Guy waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine super und unvergessliche Zeit. Man wird direkt am Hafen abgeholt und auch wieder zum Hafen gebracht. Das war sehr praktisch. Motorrad kann man direkt bei der Unterkunft mieten. Es verlief alles super und unkompliziert.

​La piscine à débordement : Probablement l'atout majeur. Se baigner avec l'impression de plonger directement dans le bleu de la mer au coucher du soleil est une expérience à couper le souffle. ​La vue imprenable : Le logement surplombe la baie, offrant un panorama à 180° sur les eaux cristallines et la jungle environnante. C'est le premier spectacle qu'on voit en ouvrant les rideaux le matin, et on s en lasse pas ​Un personnel aux petits soins : L'accueil a été d'une gentillesse rare. Toujours souriants et disponibles, ils nous ont aidés à organiser nos sorties en mer et nos locations de scooter avec une grande efficacité. On se sent vraiment comme des invités de marque.

Location was great. The property was unreal ! Emily who showed us around was very accommodating and told us where all the best places on the island were. The view from our balcony was stunning and we got to watch some of the best sun sets.

Cette villa est tout simplement la plus belle villa que j’ai pu louer lors de mon périple en Thaïlande… Il ne manque rien, tout est fait pour passer un excellent moment et que dire de la vue et de l’accueil c’est vraiment incroyable !

Tout était très bien, le personnel qui était très à l'écoute et très réactif, la villa était parfaite avec une vue incroyable. Et tout est à proximité de la villa.

Die Villas sind optisch wirklich toll gemacht. Der gesamte Innenbereich ist sehr schön gemacht und einzigartig. Die Terrasse, der Pool, die Ausstattung sind auch schön. Das Personal ist ganz besonders nett. Der Sonnenuntergang war der Hammer!

Der Pool war nach der ersten Nacht voll mit Gecko Kot, welcher ziemlich unappetitlich aussieht, hab ihn dann nicht mehr benutzt ( waren aber auch nur zwei Nächte da).

Razem z mężem spędziliśmy w hotelu 5 nocy w bardzo ładnym bungalowie z pięknym widokiem na morze. Lokalizacja jest naprawdę wyjątkowa — otoczenie dżungli, cisza oraz widok na morze tworzą klimat idealny do odpoczynku. Dodatkowo obsługa była bardzo pomocna, zawsze uśmiechnięta i łatwo dostępna przez WhatsApp, co naprawdę uprzyjemniało pobyt. Niestety, pomimo ogromnego potencjału tego miejsca, pobyt nie był w pełni komfortowy. Ze względu na położenie w dżungli, na tarasie przez cały dzień (a szczególnie w nocy) pojawiały się jaszczurki i gekony, niektóre nawet około 20–30 cm długości. Według obsługi, niegroźne. Problem było to, że nagle pojawiały się też w środku. Pilnowaliśmy, aby drzwi zawsze były domknięte, ale są tam ogromne szczeliny więc wejście gekona nie jest trudne. Dodatkowo jeden z nich wchodził przez dach i dziurę w ścianie. Tłumaczono nam, że można je łatwo przegonić, otwierając okno i naprowadzając je szczotką — co faktycznie zwykle się udawało. Jednak nie jest to czynność, którą chciałabym wykonywać każdego wieczoru przed snem. Rozumiem, że domek jest w dżungli ale płacąc tak dużą sumę za hotel oczekuje wyższego standardu. Dodatkowo słabe oświetlenie i średnia czystość wewnątrz potęgowały dyskomfort. Podsumowując: miejsce jest piękne, obsługa świetna, a widoki niezapomniane. Niestety, obecność jaszczurek i gekonów w bungalowie sprawiła, że zamiast w pełni odpocząć, spędzałam noce w stresie. Uważam, że pobyt mógłby być naprawdę wspaniały, gdyby domek był lepiej zabezpieczony przed zwierzętami i szczelny.

Dit is een van de fijnste hotels waar ik in tijden geweest ben. De villa waar je verblijft is prachtig; alles is nieuw en gerenoveerd en stijlvol ingericht. Ook het zwembad is heerlijk en je hebt een prachtig uitzicht. Aan werkelijk alles is gedacht; van verschillende handdoeken voor het strand en zwembad, scooters die je makkelijk kan huren bij de receptie, eten wat je kan laten bezorgen en een pickup van de boot als je aankomt. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en staat klaar om je overal mee te helpen. Er is genoeg te doen op Ko Tao, maar omdat wij het zo heerlijk vonden in The Place zijn we de villa bijna niet uitgekomen. Ik kom hier heel graag nog eens terug!

Everything was perfect, all the little thoughtful details really made the difference between good and great for us. Guy, his wife and their staff were lovely and accommodating. Nothin was too much trouble and we were made to feel like we were home.

One of the nicest places we've ever stayed! So much attention to detail, very private, extremely comfortable and tastefully designed, and amazing communication from the owner, Guy. Such a relaxing spot to unwind for a few days. We loved our stay and hope to be back one day!

The place is magical, set in a wildlife scenery, a very nice escape from loud and sometimes too chaotic bars and site next to the beach. Although you need to prepare for a hike to reach the beach or other places. Still it was worth the comfort and luxury facilities, like the pool or nicely furnished villa.

The internet connection is sometimes very poor or it disappears.

Peu de conseils pour bouger de la villa

Stunning, peaceful location with incredible views. The host was friendly and helpful—he arranged a great fishing trip with a local and shared his WhatsApp for anything we needed. He also arranged to pick us up from the pier on arrival. One thing we wished we knew prior to booking is to be aware that wildlife is part of the experience. Expect large and small geckos (and droppings), ants, millipedes etc inside the villa. Our only major issue was upon checkout when we had requested the return transfer at 6:15 for our 7am ferry, however the driver didn’t show up and we nearly missed our ferry (host later said the driver was unwell). Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay and we really appreciated the island’s rich wildlife—but given the price, we had expected a bit less of it inside the villa and not as outdated.

I spent four nights at The Place Luxury Boutique Villas in Koh Tao, managed by Guy, and it was truly exceptional. The villas are beautifully designed, each with a private pool—offering absolute comfort and tranquility in the heart of nature, yet just minutes away from vibrant Sairee Beach. Guy has mastered the art of hospitality: he is always available to answer every question and provide recommendations, yet gives his guests total peace and privacy. He strikes the perfect balance between attentive service and discreet presence. I was particularly impressed by the property’s commitment to environmental protection, featuring waste sorting and filtered water provided in every villa. Food delivery menus are conveniently available, and Guy can arrange excellent local taxi services as well. I will definitely return for another stay at this wonderful place!

I can’t fault anything. It was a perfect stay

Very private, beautifully decorated, a really unusually exquisite place. And the view….. As there is a mosquito net and there was a pleasant breeze coming from the ocean, we slept with the doors all open. Listening to the Sounds of the forrest while falling asleep was something real Special.

Nothing. However: it’s not suitable for people who find climbing some stairs difficult. ( there might be a villa without stairs- ours had some). Depending on the direction of the wind you might hear Noise from Sairee Beach through The Valley coming up. It didn’t bother us though.

This was the best accommodation we experienced during our three week Thailand holiday. The communication with the hosts was perfect; the villa exceeded our expectations; the location was close to everything we needed but was far enough away for peace and quiet. We would definitely return!

Fantastic secluded bungalow with lovely view and plunge pool. Only 10 minutes walk from sairee town, quicker of course on a scooter that you can rent directly from owner. Feels remote but you can get anywhere in 20 minutes or so on Koh Tao. Owner covered all needs and there’s attention to detail everywhere with lovely touches. Some things you may think obvious but you don’t get these most Thai places - coffee machine, drinking water tap, outside terrace fan, free snorkelling gear, shaving mirror, first aid kit, sewing kit, stocked fridge (if you can’t make trip to 7 eleven), anti mosquito burner for terrace, ample towels, Netflix if you’re bothered about turning on the TV. Bungalow feels very large, plenty of space and massive open and light shower room. Loved it!!! We will definitely be back in future. Guy, the owner very pleasant, charming and laid back. Thai staff lovely.

Had a great few day stay at The Place Luxury Boutique Villas. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Guy and his wife are very informative with things to do. It is very quiet where the villas are located and to walk into 'town' is about a 10-15 min walk. The walk back is a bit more difficult as the villas are up on the hill but there are cabs which will always pick you up or take you back to the hotel. All in all a very nice stay.

Beautiful place, individual villa's up on the hill over looking the Gulf of Thailand. The owners obviously took the time to design a great villa down to the smallest details. Both of them were very welcoming and made life easy, with having scooter to rent right on property and arranging my snorkeling trip. Everything was fabulous.

We had an amazing stay at The Place. It was truly home from home. We were picked up at the ferry terminal and when we left dropped off, we were really well looked after. The villa was so comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a really informative induction to the facility. The views are stunning, the best sunsets. The pool was clean, we often didn’t leave the site, we were there for 11 days and I could’ve stayed much longer. Trips were organised for us. The walk into town was about 10 minutes, and you are out of the noise but still within walking distance. I felt quite emotional leaving it was just wonderful. The bed was so comfortable and the housekeeping exceptional. We had just the right amount of privacy. Keep doing what you do, just perfect.

It’s difficult to add anything everyone else hasn’t mentioned already, our stay at The Place was perfect. Our villa was beautiful and bigger than I was expecting! The pools overlook an amazing view. The staff could not be more friendly and even helped my partner arrange flowers to be delivered for my birthday.

As already mentioned, the properties are up a massive hill which is good to be aware of. Also, food delivery was generally good but when the restaurants are busy, it can be hard to get a hold of them (which is not The Places fault, but again good to be aware of)

Beautiful place to enjoy some quite and relaxing private time. The room is exceptional, a perfect private oasis.

No restaurants or common sitting area. Not recommended for older couples as the hill to the resort is very step and hard walk up. We rented a scooter from the resort which solved this problem. Hard to make a negative commend but the review asks us to add this in. Definitely recommend if you are looking for your own private place to relax.

We LOVED staying here at The Place. It was so nice and relaxing that it was difficult to leave the villa to explore Koh Tao. So many great options to order in from local restaurants and also had walkability to beach and local shops. This place is perfect for a couple wanting to relax and retreat but also want to explore the beautiful island of Koh Tao. The pool view was magical. They gave us such great restaurant recommendations and made us feel so comfortable to reach out with any questions. The only thing to note is that it does has several steep steps to access the villas. 10/10 and will likely stay here again when we visit next time! Thank you guys!

The villa is beautiful and cozy. Especially the light-flooded bathroom is very nice. The terrace with the pool and the view of the sea were just fantastic (with beautiful sunsets). Everything you need is there, including anti-mosquito incense and net over the bed, umbrellas, kitchen utensils and much more. You could rent scooters directly on site. The hosts are very friendly and gave us lots of tips for activities and restaurants. They also helped us book tours (great snorkeling tour). If we had any questions, we could always contact the hosts via Whatsapp. The location is also great, you don't need long to get to the main road and you are still in a very quiet area. In general, you have a lot of privacy here and can enjoy the magical sounds from the nature around. We also really liked the fact that sustainability is taken into account here (e.g. room cleaning only when required, drinking water filter, mindfulness towards animals). The stay was perfect all round and we would definitely come back.

Very private and amazing views. The villa was extremely clean and well lit. They provide so much- multiple towel sets, drinks, Nespresso, TV with Netflix, etc .Also, not too far from town. We rented a scooter through Guy and used that to get around. Guy also arranged pickup and drop off for us. This is one of the most amazing and memorable stays.

The steep hill to get back was a hard climb but find if you have a moped. I would get a taxi back to avoid it but the location is part of the privacy and offers lovely views.

we had a honeymoon villa for 10 nights. we almost didn't sleep at all because of the noise from the big geckos that crawled through holes and lived in pockets between the roof and wall and of course got into the room. We had to clean up their stinky excrement every day, which was almost everywhere (on the wall, on the floor) we couldn't wait the cleaning service will come. we go to Thailand every year and we are used to small geckos and we don't mind them, but these big ones shouldn't be inside such an expensive accommodation. and we definitely do not agree with Ksenia's argument that we live in the jungle and it is actually normal. at the same time, the solution is so simple, just cover all the big holes so that the big gecko doesn't get inside

I love it. I can say that it is the most beautiful place I have visited during my trip. In terms of location, it is a 10-minute walking distance to restaurants, bars and markets, but at the same time, it is a wonderful place, away from the crowds, quiet, surrounded by nature.The view is wonderful. It was very enjoyable to watch the rain from my terrace during the monsoon season. Frankly, I took care to choose the places I stayed according to their cleanliness score, and I was definitely not disappointed in this regard. I was greeted with incredible hospitality. I had the opportunity to meet Ksenia. She is a wonderful person who is very warm-hearted, helpful and thoughtful. She was incredibly helpful, giving me information about the island's amenities, restaurants, and anything else I asked about.It's definitely a place I want to visit again. I thank them for everything. 🤗
