Our whole stay was great. The pub hotel has a great vibe throughout with a mix of history, traditional and modern. The staff were lovely, efficient, friendly and accommodating. Our breakfasts were comprehensive and beautifully prepared. We ate in the restaurant one night and the dishes were innovative, beautifully prepared and presented, and amongst the best we have eaten in a long while. We particularly appreciated that our comfortable room was very clean, serviced each day and re-stocked with decent products. Having fresh milk, the ability to make french press coffee from small batch roast, and a wide choice of teas and infusions is evidence of the direction this pub hotel pitches at. It was quite scene setting as we were shown into the room and the Roberts DAB radio was gently playing classical music in the background. The generous en-suite shower room had quality fittings, a decent overhead rain and hand shower plus Land & Water branded toiletries. It was also a nice touch to have access to consumables like a dental kit and a shaving kit available at no extra cost. The busy pub hotel sits on the A30 which carries a lot of traffic and although our room was at the front of the building, the secondary galzing over the old sash windows kept the noise levels down and the air conditioning in the room kept us cool. The Pembroke Arms was an ideal base for us to explore some of the local area including discovering some of the rich history of the old town of Wilton.

it would be useful to have easier/dedicated bike storage, but the staff found a very secure place for us.

Uitgebreid ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel. Ze waren bij mij de eieren vergeten en kwamen daar speciaal excuses voor aanbieden. Mijn vegetarische maaltijd was heerlijk.

Ik had mijn eten al op en toen moest dat van mijn man nog komen, uit een andere keuken?

Alles. Het was prachtig ingericht. Meer dan volledige faciliteiten. Zelfs scheermes, tandenborstel, oordopjes, water; melk en koeken bij aankomst. Buiten is het supergezellig zitten en eten met tarpen, picknick banken en een bar. Personeel was top en we deden er zelfs mee aan een pubquiz.

Los van het standaardgamma dat je van een hotelontbijt mag verwachten, kon je iedere dag beroep doen op een warm ontbijt met ruime keuze zoals het klassieke Engelse Ontbijt. Zeer verzorgd, lekker en steeds door zeer vriendelijke mensen aan tafel gebracht. Ik keek iedere ochtend uit naar het ontbijt. Ook de ontbijtruimte vonden we zeer aangenaam, gezellig en volledig ingericht in die mooie "Engelse stijl" waar we zo van houden. De kamer was voldoende ruim en aangezien het buiten erg warm was, konden we zeer genieten van de goed werkende airco. De bedden lagen heerlijk (misschien net iets te smal) De badkamer was kraaknet. Ondanks het feit dat er toch wel wat verkeer voorbij komt, heb je daar op je kamer geen last van. Het feit dat de Pembroke niet alleen een hotel is maar ook een pub, zorgde er voor dat we enkel de trap naar beneden dienden te nemen om te gaan eten. Zeer gemakkelijk en steeds lekker gegeten. Door het mooie weer konden we ook steeds in de aansluitende tuin gaan eten wat we zeer aangenaam vonden. Ook leuk dat je daar echt tussen de (vriendelijke) Britten zit. We waren daar op het moment van ons verblijf de enige "niet-Britten" en dat vonden we best leuk. Er was steeds meer dan voldoende gratis parkeergelegenheid beschikbaar. We kozen dit hotel als uitvalsbasis om Salisbury, Winchester, het geboortehuis van Jane Austen en vooral Stonehenge te bezoeken. De ideale uitvalsbasis aangezien alles in de onmiddellijke omgeving lag. We komen graag nog eens terug

Eigenlijk hebben we zeer weinig aan te merken op ons verblijf. De bedden mochten voor ons net wat breder zijn en kamerbreed tapijt in een hotelkamer hoeft voor ons niet (beetje passé uit hygiëne overwegingen) , maar verder hebben we enkel een zeer positief gevoel overgehouden aan ons verblijf.

It’s beautiful inside and out,lots of lovely authentic furniture. Comfortable beds and pillows,great bathroom, aircon Right opposite the Wilton manor. Nice village as well and lovely parks The restaurant is very nice delicious food, mostly outdoor in summer, and plenty of free parking on site.

The property is great but the road is quite busy but doesn’t disturb your stay.

Struttura molto curata, è un vecchio pub con alloggi ristrutturato con gusto e attenzione ai particolari. Staff molto attento e gentile. Colazione molto buona e abbondante (niente di dolce, però). Ottimo anche il ristorante per la cena. Grande parcheggio. Posto tranquillo in un paesino caratteristico e curato.

La nostra stanza era piccolina e non c'era molto posto per le trolley.

Отель. Это, пожалуй, самый уютный отель, который я видела! Территория большая, много места для парковки автомобиля. Так же есть ресторан: столики расположены как на улице (под открытым небом и под навесом), так и внутри отеля. Есть хороший бар с вкусными свежими напитками. Сам отель создает впечатление, будто ты находишься в гостях у аристократа в его фамильном особняке. Персонал. Очень приветливые девушки, регистрация и выезд прошли очень быстро и без проблем. При заселении нам принесли свежее молоко и домашнее печенье. Это было очень мило! Номер. Небольшой, но безумно уютный. Для декора использованы натуральные ткани: шерсть, кашемир. Был предоставлен чайник, музыкальное радио, свежий кофе. Была даже грелка. Вид из номер был на поместье. Кондиционер хорошо работал, бесшумно. В этом отеле очень тонкие стены и персонал оставил нам 2 пары берушей. Очень мило, но они нам не пригодились, т.к. никакого постороннего шума мы не слышали. Питание. Очень хороший завтрак: предлагается заказать горячее блюдо и меню + небольшой шведский стол самообслуживания, в который входили хлопья, йогурт, свежие ягоды, круассаны и сок. Все было очень вкусным и свежим! Вечером мы насладились напитками в баре и это был самый вкусный яблочный сидр, что я пробовала!

Не смотря на все плюсы, номер был очень небольшим для двоих взрослых. В остальном все было прекрасно!

Lovely property, Room very comfortable with air conditioning being a real blessing in the hot weather, especially as opening the windows would have allowed the traffic noise to disturb sleep.

The loo in room 2 was very cramped, right next to the wall with your knees touching a towel rail, so was uncomfortable. A mini fridge in the room would have been an advantage, for cooling water and milk etc for tea and coffee. Luckily, we brought one with us.

Welcome cookie, gorgeous ground coffee, little touches in the room like water, earplugs, toiletries and recommendations for walks.

Lovely old hotel which was clean and comfortable and, for what we paid, excellent value for money. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the hotel had the bonus of an excellent outside eating area. Would definitely recommend.

Molto più di jn Pub. Stanze e sale di soggiorno eleganti e confortevoli. Fa sognare il fatto che si trova proprio di fronte alla Wilton House, dove sono stati girati film come Orgoglio e Pregiudizio e la serie Bridgerton. Paesino comodo per raggiungere sia Salisbury che Stonehenge che Avebury.

Welcoming helpful staff. Easy to get into Salisbury by local bus. Very comfortable clean room. Decaf tea and cafetiere coffee in room which is a nice touch. Nice well equipped bathroom/shower room. Breakfast was good, eggs perfectly cooked. Lovely stay thank you.

It was a beautiful old country inn, with modernized accommodations, which did not distract from the old world charm (such as air conditioning). The staff were all friendly, helpful and kind!

Das Zimmer sehr klein, keine Ablageflächen auch im Badzimmer nicht. Koffer konnten wir nirgends aufstellen. Das Bett eher schmal. Zum Zimmer viele Treppen. Für uns als älteres Paar eher mühsam. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut, aber die Portionen klein dafür teuer

A thriving, happy, upbeat young business, wth a relaxed, stylish, friendly vibe. Food and drinks all excellent, served in beautifully designed interiors which are informal and not stuffy or in the pizza / cocktail barn or lovely garden. Attention to detail and comfort were superb. There are even neat little handles on toilet seats so you don't have to touch them, fresh cookies and own roast filter cofee etc in rooms and gorgeous bathroom products and massive walk in shower. Dogs allowed throughout and given rugs, bowlsn treats and a toy for their stay (they are charged for but at least get a v good service). Location opposite Wilton house in a georgian inn where d day was partly planned.

From the moment we checked in until we left, we were met with fabulous, friendly service at the Pembroke Arms. Our room at the top of the building was bright, clean and comfortable, and quiet (despite overlooking the main road through Wilton). The staff, without exception, were friendly and warm - one lovely touch was the delivery of freshly baked biscuits to our room soon after arriving back from a long morning walk around the beautiful Wilton estate and picturesque surrounding villages. The biscuits were a lovely accompaniment to the excellent tea and delicious fresh ground coffee provided in our room, along with fresh milk, a teapot and a cafetière. You won't find cheap nescafé or UHT milk cartons here. Everything is carefully sourced, fresh and delicious. The bar area was cosy and welcoming, and our evening meal tasty and good value. Breakfasts were excellent too. We liked the cooked vegetarian options and healthy turmeric, ginger and lemon shots, all included in our B&B room rate. It should be remembered that this is a pub with rooms, not a five star hotel. If you're looking for obsequious service, this may not be the place for you. But, if you looking to stay in a place that feels homely and warm, you won't go wrong here.

I wouldn't say there was anything we disliked. Just remember, it is a beautiful old building, so do expect slightly noisier plumbing than you might get in a more modern establishment. A slightly wider selection of vegetarian options on the dinner menu would have been welcomed, but what was on offer was freshly cooked and tasty.

One night stay after exploring Salisbury. The hotel was situated a short distance away in Wilton. The hotel was warm and welcoming with lots of period features of a great 2 listed building. Breakfast was plentiful. I would say The Pembroke Arms gives value for excellent quality. Would highly recommend to family and friends

The family room we stayed in was huge and beautifully decorated. It was perfectly clean with lots of lovely little extras were included. The breakfast is great as well!

A beautifully stylish stay in Wilton. The interiors are incredibly well done, a tasteful, eclectic blend of classic country house and contemporary cool. Felt elegant and relaxed, with real personality. The food was excellent, delicious, well presented and clearly carefully considered. Thr staff were superb, warm, attentive and effortlessly professional without being overbearing. A genuinely lovely place to stay.

Everything. Great location for everything we wanted to do, very welcoming and helpful, who managed both without being intrusive. Accommodation. Was very comfortable. Best cup of coffee I have had in a hotel ever had, anywhere. They even provided freshly made cookies, and if you like such things, a hot-water bottle! Breakfasts and dinner were all top notch with beautifully cooked and presented local food. Only possible drawback, if your stay is more than a night or two, was the lack of hanging space in the room. All in all, five well-earned stars all round!

Really nice location, very comfortable bedroom with a perfectly clean bathroom. Dinner was nice, the pizza's were excellent and breakfast very nice. They kept the kitchen open just for us, because we were delayed.

I should have reported this when we were staying there, but we were a bit in a hurry; but the AC in the room made an irritating noise, not loud, but enoying enough to keep us awake. After turning it off, all was a lot better.

Great location for visiting Salisbury and Stonehenge. Wonderful staff who couldn’t have been more helpful. Really enjoyed their food and cocktails too. Overall - thoroughly recommend.

Wifi in room didn’t work. Pump dispensers for soap and conditioner in showers didn’t work.
