Enschede

The host itself (Mr. JAN) is very friendly and nice person

Smoking area in the house

The host made an effort to be helpful and attentive throughout my stay. The house is located in a very quiet and peaceful area, which made my stay comfortable and relaxing. It is about 4 km from Oude Markt, and bus number 4 provides convenient access to the city centre. I rented a car, so getting around was very easy for me.

The bathroom and toilet are shared with other guests, which can feel a little less private. The internet was not working during my stay, although I believe this was only a temporary issue.

The owner is really nice and helpful. He speaks good German. I love the garden in the back where you could take your coffee and just relax. There is enough parking space. I would definitely go again! I had one day a little surprise with a sweet, delicious bread with butter in my room. That was kind.

Well, not that I didn't like it, but you are able to lock your door from inside, but not from the outside. It would be nice if he could change that? Just an idea. But, overall everything was great and thankful there was a place like that.

Ljubazan i susretljiv domaćin

Osjetio se dim cigareta

Jan was a very kind host. Everything was fine, wash basin, ventilator and a small fridge in the room. We enjoyed our stay and like to come back again.

Nothing.

The host was friendly and helpful on arrival

The host smokes in the house, a lot. The shared kitchen is attached to the living room, where obviously a big part of the day is spent smoking. This smoke permeates the house—I left my stuff in my room for a couple of hours, but then picked it back up and took the last train home, because I didn't want to sleep in that smell. My bag still smells of smoke today, a week later. This is not indicated on Booking clearly. I found out later that if you click on "more info about the host", he does mention all the smoking, but you wouldn't look for information like that in that spot. Also, the smoke-free rooms are just not free of smoke. Closed doors alone just won't cut it against smoke smell this bad.

Nothing

★☆☆☆☆ Unfortunately, our experience with this property was very disappointing. My colleague had a booking at this property two days before my planned stay. I only became aware of the cigarette smoke issue after his visit. When he arrived, he found a very strong cigarette smoke smell throughout the entire house. The smell was not limited to one room and was severe enough that he was unable to stay and had to leave the property instead of using the two nights that were booked. After only spending a few hours inside, my colleague’s belongings continued to smell strongly of cigarette smoke even days later. This indicated that the smoke odor was deeply present in the property and not just a temporary smell. Based on my colleague’s firsthand experience, I did not proceed with my own check-in because I was concerned that the accommodation was not suitable to stay in. I contacted the host politely to request a free cancellation due to this unexpected condition, but the request was declined. My colleague also reported the issue to Booking.com and submitted a complaint and refund request regarding the condition of the accommodation. I also contacted Booking.com to request assistance and further review of the situation, but unfortunately no further investigation or refund solution was provided. This situation caused significant inconvenience for both of us, as we had to find a last-minute alternative arrangement for our business stay. The level of cigarette smoke smell was not something we could reasonably expect from viewing the property photos or the listing information. The description did not indicate that the house would have a strong cigarette smoke environment or that guests would be entering a property with such a significant smoke odor. We hope the property management will address this issue and provide clearer information in the listing so future guests can make an informed decision before booking.

Ausstattung normal, alles vorhanden, was man für zwei Nächte braucht.

The host was excellent and very kind. The room was very well equipped with all necessities. The location was quiet and green.

Gute Lage, tolle Ausstattung, es ist alles da was man benötigt. Vermieter der Unterkunft sehr nett.

The room had everything one could want

Alles Super, komme gerne wieder.

Warme kamer. Goed bed .Het raam kon open . Ik kreeg een huissleutel mee.Mocht gebruik maken van de keuken. Erg gastvrij.

Jan, hartstikke bedankt!!!

Helemaal niks, alles was top!!!

Convenient, good price , but did not have to ruin it by smoking (

The smoke, everything in my luggage smelled.

The facilities were good and Jan the host was also a good man who helped me during my stay!

Everything was amazing. Jann is actually an awesome guy he made my first time leaving abroad a wonderfull experience

Everything was clean and tidy and all the dacilities were working!
