Geräumiges Zimmer, modernes Bad. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig, täglich wechselnde warme Eiergerichte, Gemüse, regionale Produkte. Großer Pool, Terrasse. Die Getränke an der Bar sind nicht überteuert.

Lekker, uitgebreid, gevarieerd, vers ontbijtbuffet. Vriendelijke, behulpzame gastheer/gastvrouw. Zalig vertoeven aan het zwembad. Alles was kraaknet.

De afstand naar Volterra centrum via de binnenwegjes hebben we niet gevonden. Langs de grote baan wel gevaarlijk en toch een eindje stappen.

Das Frühstück ist sehr außergewöhnlich und äußerst reichhaltig. Es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei, sei es Eier in verschiedenen Variationen, Obst, Käse und Salami aus der Region, Kuchen etc. Ein tolles Frühstücksbuffet

Excellent accommodation. Very clean and comfortable. There was even an option to choose the pillow and/or mattress you preferred, so there is no need to worry about comfort, everything can be tailored to your needs. The pool was very clean, and the water was pleasant. Each room has its own private terrace area with a table. The air conditioning was excellent and easy to use. The bed, room, and bathroom were very spacious, with plenty of room. What I appreciated most were the travel guides to nearby cities and Volterra prepared by the host; they were very handy and easy to use. It is also certainly worth mentioning the beautiful views visible from the hotel grounds, as well as the lovely sunset that dipped behind the hill. The hotel, its grounds, and the guests were very quiet, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful.

Although the breakfast was delicious, I would have appreciated more vegetables and other fiber-rich options (to start the day "healthily" before gorging on pasta and pizza :D); still, breakfast really wasn't an issue, all the accommodations in this region offered very similar breakfasts.

Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique à Volterra. Le village a été un véritable coup de cœur : calme, authentique et avec une ambiance très bienveillante. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le côté reposant de l’endroit, les très bons restaurants à des prix tout à fait raisonnables et l’atmosphère générale, qui invite vraiment à ralentir et à profiter. Concernant l’Hotel Residence Villa Rioddi, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. L’hôtel est très bien situé, à seulement 5 minutes en voiture du village, dans un cadre vraiment magnifique et très paisible. La piscine est superbe et l’eau était particulièrement agréable et bien chaude au mois d’août. Notre appartement était spacieux, confortable et bien équipé, avec une jolie terrasse très agréable pour profiter du cadre. Nous avions toutes les commodités nécessaires pour passer une semaine agréable.

Le seul petit bémol concerne la climatisation, qui est un peu vieillotte et ne fonctionnait pas très bien.

Prachtige villa rustig gelegen op 4 minuten rijden van Volterra. Schone kamer met voldoende bergruimte. Meer dan voortreffelijk ontbijt buffet met verse taarten, gemaakt door echtgenote van gastheer Luca. Mooi schoon zwembad. Heerlijke locatie om uit te rusten en als uitvalbasis naar bezienswaardigheden in Toscane.

Badkamer van onze kamer was krap en douche was bereikbaar via 2 smalle treden. Kwam omdat badkamer boven trapopgang was gesitueerd. Als je wat ouder bent of slecht ter been zou kamer 4 niet ideaal zijn.

Location was fantastic with a wonderful view on the Tuscan hills. The owner was very kind and showed us everything around, including useful suggestions on sightseeing around the region. Breakfast is delicious, with local products and homemade cakes.

Kleines Hotel mit außergewöhnlicher Lage am Hang, unterhalb der Altstadt von Volterra. Nur wenige Zimmer, tolles, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Schöner Pool mit ausreichend Liegen und Schirmen, sowie auch Bäumen.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was excellent, with a stunning view, a very comfortable bed, and a choice of pillows. The cleanliness was absolutely perfect. The pool and the surrounding area were also fantastic. Breakfast was varied and offered something new every day. The homemade pastries were absolutely delicious and truly outstanding. The staff were the highlight of our stay. They were always happy to help, gave us excellent recommendations, and regularly checked in with us in a warm and friendly way without ever being intrusive. Their tips were always spot-on, so it is definitely worth having a chat with them about your plans for the day. The location is perfect in every respect, and Volterra is easily accessible on foot.

The beautiful location, the great support from Luca and family and the outstanding breakfast make it a perfect location to stay! The possibility to adjust the comfort of the beds and pillows are just great.

Splendido soggiorno sotto tutti i punti di vista. Lo staff è di una gentilezza unica e il proprietario ci ha accolti fornendoci tantissime indicazioni preziose su itinerari e luoghi da visitare in zona. La colazione è semplicemente spettacolare, con un salato di ottima qualità e dolci fatti in casa deliziosi. La camera era ottima, spaziosa e con un ottimo livello di pulizia. Nota di merito per la posizione della struttura: la vista sulla Val di Cecina è magnifica e la piscina è meravigliosa. Infine, il giorno del mio compleanno mi hanno sorpreso portandomi una torta con candelina: piccoli gesti che fanno una grande differenza e che dimostrano un'attenzione al cliente davvero rara. Torneremo sicuramente!

Lucca is a wonderful host, very helpful and easy going. The beds were so very comfortable! Mrs. Lucca made us a delicious breakfast every morning and there was always a cold beer waiting when we back in the early evening. Beautiful, exceptionally clean pool to be refreshed in. The views are stunning! We were a group of 7 and each of us Highly Recommend Villa Rioddi!

Luogo incantevole, in splendida posizione, con una bella piscina. Volterra è a 5 minuti di auto ma si può anche raggiungere a piedi in meno di mezz'ora. Colazione davvero incredibile sia per qualità che per varietà di prodotti. Il proprietario, Luca, è una persona squisita e preparatissima, fornisce informazioni turistiche dettagliate e approfondite sulla Toscana grazie a carte, mappe e testi elaborati da lui, anche in forma digitale. Tutto perfetto, consigliatissimo.

Die Lage mit Blick auf Volterra, das Zimmer, die Ausstattung, das Schwimmbad, hervorragendes Frühstück, der hilfsbereite Wirt, die Parkplätze, Möglichkeit Getränke an der Bar bis 11 zu bekommen usw.

Csodás ódon, de imádnivaló az épület. A rendkívül barátságos tulajdonos és csodás felesége, igazán kitesznek magukért. A reggeli fenséges és bőséges, igazi Toszkán finomságok és Luciene fantasztikus süteményei erőt adnak az egész napi barangoláshoz. A teraszon elköltött reggeli háttere pedig a Toszkán vidék dombjai. Luca igazi túracsodákat állított össze azoknak akik nem készültek a környékből, s ezeket végig is járhatják a vendégek. 3 év után jöttünk vissza hozzájuk újra, és ismét nagyon jól éreztük magunkat. Most már barátokat is hoztunk, akik szintén tovább fogják ajánlani ezt a Toszkán gyöngyszemet, amelynek lelkét a tulajdonosok és a személyzet adja. Biztos vagyok benne, hogy egyre nehezebb lesz náluk szabad helyet találni.

Accueil très professionnel très bons conseils de restaurant et de visites avec des plans et cartes de la région personnalisés par le propriétaire. Le petit déjeuner excepionnel. L'emplacement ideal.

Atrention reception et chambres en étage mais les bagages ont été pris en charge par le propriétaire.

I cannot recommend this villa enough! The building itself is absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean, and tidy throughout. Here are a few highlights from our stay: The Pool Area: Absolutely fantastic. There are loads of sunbeds and umbrellas. It’s the perfect place to relax. The Terrace: We loved spending time on the beautiful terrace—for both morning breakfast and relaxing evening drinks. The Famous Breakfast: To be honest, I booked this accommodation solely based on the reviews of the breakfast, and it completely lived up to the hype! It is amazing. Every single day there was a different selection of delicious eggs and fresh cakes. The Room: Our bedroom was clean, tidy, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was great, especially with a selection of different pillows to choose from, and the air conditioning kept everything perfectly cool. It also came equipped with a handy mini-bar. The Bathroom was big, great shower, a great big mirror. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

While the villa itself is absolutely flawless, the location does require some planning if you don't have your own transport. Location & Transport: The villa is located down the hill from Volterra. Because of this, you really need a car to get around comfortably. The Bus System: There is a bus stop right outside the villa, but the printed schedule posted there is completely inaccurate. Your best bet is to use Google Maps and check the live bus transfers. The bus is quite cheap (€1.70 each way), but the schedule is highly restrictive: the last bus to Volterra is at approx 17:00, and the last bus out of Volterra is at 16:30. No Taxis: Don't rely on getting a taxi unless you have booked it well in advance. Walking Home: We ended up walking home late one night, and it took about 30 minutes. Be aware that it’s a steep incline up to the town and a downhill walk back. Parts of the walk require you to walk right on the main road, which then turns into a rough, unpaved road. It's definitely doable but not ideal in the dark. No Food Delivery: There are no takeaway delivery services available in Volterra. However, we turned this into a positive one evening by buying dinner in town, bringing it back with us, and dining out on our beautiful balcony. It actually turned out to be perfect!

A vendégház Volterra alsóbb részén található, nagyon kellemes park és medence tartozik a hatalmas területen fekvő ranch-hez. Pakolás nem gond, itt minden autó kényelmesen elfér. Mi bringát is vittünk, melynek a házban adtak biztonságos tárolóhelyet és töltési lehetőséget. Luca, a tulajdonos a szállásadók mintaképe, látszik, hogy a vendégekért él. A szobánk kellemes méretű volt, kis hűtővel, nagyon kényelmes ággyal. Volt egy kis balesetünk, így a helyi kórházat is meglátogattuk, itt szintén Luca segített, hogy hova kell mennünk. Nem ide tartozik, de a kórház is nagyon kellemes csalódás volt, főleg a magyar viszonyokhoz képest. A reggelik mellett sem mehetünk el szó nélkül: bármelyik szálloda megirigyelhetné az itteni kínálatot, mely rengeteg toszkánai terméket is tartalmaz. Feleségem vegetáriánus, de ő is napi szinten tudott választékosan reggelizni. Szóval nem kérdés: visszatérünk Luca szuper birodalmába! LUCA, mindent köszönünk. Luca, ti ringraziamo di cuore per tutto!

Igazából semmi negatívumot nem tudok írni, de ha feltétlenül muszáj, akkor az elavult klímát említeném, ami kicsit hangos volt éjjel, de egy nap alatt megszoktuk.

Luca und Lucienne sind tolle Gastgeber. Wurden von Luca bei unserer Ankunft ausführlich eingewiesen, über mögliche Ausflugsziele sehr gut informiert. Das Frühstück war umfangreich, viele heimische Erzeugnisse, sehr gute selbst gebackene Torten und Kuchen. Brot und Gebäck waren vielfältig und sehr schmackhaft. Kaffee von der Kaffeemaschine konnte man ohne Aufpreis bei Luca bestellen und servieren lassen. Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick auf die toskanische Landschaft. Von der Liegefläche des Pools hat man einen schönen Ausblick auf Volterra. Fußmarsch in die Altstadt ca. 30 Minuten. Luca hatte für Fragen immer ein offenes Ohr. Getränke, Wein und Bier, etc. Waren sehr preiswert, wenn man den Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse genießen wollte. Wir waren rundum äußerst zufrieden und werden sicher wieder einmal kommen und in diesem Quartier wohnen.

Nie było rzeczy, która by się nie podobała. Wszystko było znakomite. Począwszy od przemiłego właściciela, który dbał o każdy szczegół, przez pyszne jedzienie, aż po niesamowitą lokalizację w pięknej scenerii.

We hebben genoten van de B&B nabij Volterra. De ontvangst was super, de eigenaar gaf veel informatie over Volterra en de streek Toscane. Ze serveren een super ontbijt, veel lokalen producten en huisgemaakt jams en taarten. Ook hebben we erg genoten van het zwembad. Om in Volterra te komen heb je wel een auto nodig, de weg er naar toe is erg steil. Maar toch een aanrader als je Toscane wilt verkennen.

Abbiamo soggiornato all’Hotel Residence Villa Rioddi e l’esperienza è stata davvero ottima, assolutamente da ripetere. La struttura, ospitata in edifici storici risalenti al 1100, si trova in una splendida posizione panoramica, a circa 20 minuti a piedi dal centro storico di Volterra. È immersa nella quiete e circondata dagli ulivi, con una vista meravigliosa sulla città e sulla Val di Cecina. L’atmosfera è rilassante e autentica, resa ancora più piacevole dalla gestione familiare e dall’attenzione costante verso gli ospiti. La piscina è splendida: perfetta per concludere la giornata dopo aver visitato Volterra e i dintorni. Ottima anche la colazione, con un’ampia scelta di dolci fatti in casa e piatti salati preparati dallo staff, sempre con grande attenzione ai prodotti locali. Si percepisce davvero la cura nei dettagli e la passione per l’ospitalità. La posizione è ideale anche per chi desidera fermarsi più giorni e scoprire il territorio: in struttura sono disponibili mappe con diversi percorsi e itinerari adatti a ogni tipo di esigenza. Un ringraziamento speciale va a tutto lo staff e al proprietario: abbiamo soggiornato in occasione del compleanno e, pur non avendo detto nulla, la mattina del compleanno ci hanno fatto trovare una piacevolissima sorpresa. Un gesto che abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo e che dimostra la grande attenzione verso il cliente. Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff dell’Hotel Residence Villa Rioddi. Un’esperienza davvero bellissima, che consigliamo assolutamente.

Sehr laute Gartenarbeiten während wir eigentlich im Pool schwimmen wollten, mussten wir dann abbrechen.

Super lokalita nedaleko Volterry. Pěšky cca 15 minut do centra (do kopce). Luxusní snídaně s využitím lokálních produktů. Slané, sladké (paní domácí peče), variace na různé přípravy vajec atd. Pan domácí doporučí typy na celodenní výlety po toskánsku (vč. kompletního itineráře do google maps) i podniky a zajímavosti ve městě Volterra. A pokud chcete jen odpočívat u bazénu, určitě budete také spokojeni. body navíc pro extrémně čistou koupelnu.

Notre hôte connaît parfaitement sa région. Il nous a conseillé une adresse incroyable pour manger et plein de bon plans pour des excursions à la journée . Le petit déjeuner était absolument incroyable avec des produits locaux, un vrai régal . La piscine est un vrai plus après une journée de balade

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und beim Einchecken mit allem rund um Ausflüge beraten. Der Hotelier hat sich hier richtige Mühe gemacht. Die Routen waren farbig in der Landkarte markiert und zusätzlich haben wir das ganze noch digital erhalten. QR Code drücken und die Route wurde auf Google Maps angezeigt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und schön eingerichtet. Ein großer Parkplatz ist vorhanden und wir hatten keine Probleme unseren Motorradhänger zu parken. Auch beim Frühstück bleiben keine Wünsche offen.wir würden dieses Hotel sofort wieder buchen.

Da gibts nix zu mäkeln.

Tuvimos complicaciones durante nuestro paseo que llegaron a imposibilitar nuestro medio de transporte pero los anfitriones nos ayudaron a resolverlo. Nuestras expectativas fueron superadas ampliamente. Recomendamos muchísimo el Hotel Residence Villa Rioddi.

Beautiful place, lovely room, stunning surrounding, the owner gave us many tips and what was probably the best on this place apart from view, it was the breakfast, I now understand what all the other visitors meant, The most tasteful breakfast in whole Italy I have ever had, made with love. La struttura è situata a pochi passi dal centro ed è nella quiete più assoluta. Il personale ti accoglie e ti fa sentire a casa. La colazione piena di prodotti tipici ti fa gustare il territorio ed è perfetta anche per chi ha intolleranze o chi ricerca un’alimentazione equilibrata. Situata in una posizione strategica comoda a servizi e ai luoghi migliori da visitare. Plus il parcheggio interno.

Echtes Highlight: Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und vielseitig, sowohl italienisch süß, als auch continental bis deftig (z.B. gebratene Zucchiniblüten, verschiedene gefüllte Omelette, Auswahl an Käse und Wurst), alles regionale Spezialitäten, dazu täglich frisch mehrere Kuchen selbstgebacken, natürlich alle üblichen Getränke dazu (Kaffeespezialitäten, Tee, Wasser, Säfte, Milch....). Mein Zimmer war groß, bequem und gemütlich eingerichtet, Bett nicht zu weich (was ich bevorzuge) sehr sauber, Klimaanlage, Fernseher (auch internationale Kanäle), aber es ist auch eigenes Streaming über das sehr gute WLAN möglich (im übrigen auch bis zum Pool im Garten), sehr schöner Pool mit genügend Platz/Liegen/Sonnenschirme für alle Gäste, auch wenn das Haus voll ist, genügend Parkplätze auch bei vollem haus, es gibt zwei Ladesäulen für E-Autos, der Gastgeber Luca ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und wartete mit allerlei nützlichen Infos über Volterra und Umgebung auf, inklusive ausgedrucktem Karten- und Tourenmaterial. Ich kann sagen, dass ich in Italien noch nie in einem Hotel war, das so gut organisiert und strukturiert ist. Ich kann für dieses Hotel nur eine absolute Empfehlung aussprechen.

Io e la mia amica abbiamo avuto un'urgenza e lui si è subito messo a disposizione. Inoltre,ci ha dato un sacco di informazioni sui luoghi da visitare nei dintorni di Volterra. Posti straordinari. Io sono celiaca e la mattina avevo sempre scelta sia nel dolce che nel salato. La moglie di Luca fa delle torte spettacolari! Le camere sono bellissime e pulitissime. Un posto meraviglioso che potrebbe essere sicuramente più di un hotel 3 stelle.

Colazione molto buona, ricercata, varia con preparazioni casalinghe e ingredienti naturali, ambiente pulito e assai curato in generale. Spazi esterni molto belli e curati, facilmente accessibili dagli ospiti

Well located just outside Volterra, easy parking. Very friendly and helpful host- given detailed information about what to do and see in the region. Very comfortable and spacious room on ground floor opening to private outdoor sitting area. The breakfast was outstanding.

The rooms were clean and well presented, the breakfast was superb (local produce and homemade), the views were fantastic and the location close to Voltaire (great restaurants and interesting) was good. It’s a 20 minute uphill walk to the town - but the owner is very willing to run you up in his car if you prefer.

Remek helyen csodálatos panorámával rendelkezik a szállás bármerre is néz az ember. Luca rendkívül segítőkész, tökéletes útikalaúzt biztosít már érkezéskor a helyi látványosságok felfedezéséhez a legszebb látnivalókkal és azokhoz legközelebbi parkolókkal egyaránt. Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat, a reggeli is bőséges volt, még vissza fogunk ide jönni.

Breakfast was outstanding both in quality and ambiance...kudos to the chefs! Marvelous views from windows...terrific shower and lighting in the bathroom...good bed and excellent pillows (important)! Host gingerly carried my heavy luggage up And down steep stairs, and loaded everything into my car. Lucca took the time to set my GPS system up in my car...AND - if that weren't enough, he delivered a delicious Birthday cake (with a lit candle) to my room accompanied by a Birthday song! Best Birthday surprise I ever had 😀
