Good location for days out , food was good although could have done with a more varied menu. Nice staff .
I thought the price was rather high for what we got. Not really luxurious. The shower in our room didn’t drain properly and caused a bad smell. Our room was very noisy being at the front of property and on a busy road.
Such a lovely pub and accomodation to stay, tastefull decor, gardens immaculate. Food excellent, and dog friendly a bonus. Loved it
There was nothing i didn't like. Well done
Very comfortable stay, great room, friendly staff. Had a meal on Friday evening, very good, breakfasts equally good too.
Nothing
Very quirky building with lots of history in it. Also, the garden layout is amazing.
Flies in the bar/dining area.
Lots of character and great location for exploring the area. Staff were great and lovely food.
Nothing
A beautiful, quaint old pub which had been lovingly restored. Everywhere was v clean and fresh. The room and bathroom were surprisingly large and immaculate. Great location, near Wells and Holkham, but in quiet countryside. Lots of different sitting areas in the pub, and great breakfast. Free parking opposite. Would definitely come back again.
Nothing🤣
Fabulous accommodation, we stayed in one of the four chalets set in a lovely landscaped garden area. Our evening meal in the pub was excellent as was our breakfast the following two mornings. The staff were lovely, we felt that nothing was too much trouble. Loved the large fluffy towels and soft sheets and especially liked the matching hand wash, hand lotion, shampoo and body wash in large bottles, all made locally in Norfolk.
Nothing!
The place was a great example of a country pub. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Super with my large dog as well.
Nothing
Ideal location, beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean, lovely garden and outdoor space, wonderfully helpful and friendly staff, lovely breakfast and a simple well done reasonably priced menu.
Quaint and original. Lovely room and bathroom. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast. Cosy bar.
Very limited daily evening menu. Given the big outdoor facilities it may be very busy in season?
Really lovely stay in beautiful surroundings
Nothing to dislike it was perfect
Perfect location. Really friendly staff. Spotlessly clean . Lovely garden area.
Dining room could do with some tlc and some comfy chairs
Tucked away, easily missed this place offered us private space to stay a step away from a cosy catacomb of a pub|restaurant alongside a great walled garden (shhhh)
Will let you know if we remember something.
Great dinner menu, friendly staff
Lovely old fashioned pub and restaurant with lots of charm and character. Various places to eat and drink and the staff were brilliant particularly Becca who exuded fantastic enthusiasm and great service. The Holkham Room was superb and definitely would stay here again.
Nothing all was great.
Breakfast was really good & the cooked food came quickly, staff very helpful.
the mattress slopped outwards from the centre?? windows didn't close properly so I could hear outside traffic, but this subsided after 10pm
Very, very helpful staff. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely room, great hot shower after a days cycling. Great food and fabulous location.
Great location quiet and peaceful. Was undergoing owner change ab some modifications. But these were unobtrusive
Frühstück war gut Nette Athmosphäre
Abendessen war mittelmäßig Zimmer sehr hellhörig
Breakfast was fresh and well cooked
Could have done with having a plug near the kettle, had to plug in near tv. Windows were very hard to open.
The food, the staff and the lodge were excellent. The gardens and planting are delightful.
The dining room felt cramped and we were eating on small tables with uncomfortable chairs. The bed in Great Snoring needs attention as it very creaky.
Rooms were lovely 😍 We had dinner in the restaurants, not sure if it’s the manager of the restaurant, he appears a little rude not very welcoming.
Room was lovely, clean & comfortable.
Breakfast was very pleasant
There were problems with the kitchen in the evening - but they dealt with it really well. However we were sad we couldn’t eat there and had to drive out to somewhere else. There’s nothing around the pub. You really have to drive.
Great stay
No fridge
Good location with lovely garden
Lack of ventilation in bedroom - very small metal windows in dormers. A fan in the room would have helped although it was a very hot night
Beautiful pub with a great vibe and so many lovely touches - the gorgeous toiletries, the amazing tea tray in our room, the fan!, the super tasty breakfast, the brilliant shower - the list goes on! The food in the pub was delicious as well - we had the steak pie and the veggie mushroom pie and they were so good. Thank you Three Horseshoes for a lovely stay :)

We felt relaxed and comfortable. Lovely charming English lady brought breakfast to the chalet. Thank you. :-) The birds nesting under roof eves. Lovely. Charming very old pub. Amazing gardens outside to look at.
Lock is very awkward to operate (we experienced similar problem in Corsica with these chalet mini houses). Spent long time working the lock out. :-). I was asked about my nationality by a Pole and I didn’t appreciate her familiarity as a paying guest ! It is a no no. Drinks took ages to arrive in the garden table. Garden at the back at the blackboard had strong smell of sewer pit and could not eat drink or sit there. Shower water pressure was bad. Trickling.
The accommodation was splendid. The pub full of character and the garden dining superb.
Lovely pub in a quiet location. Delicious breakfast. Good IPA on the bar!
Very uncomfortable ‘made up’ bed for our Grandson..
The place amazing and the peace as well as the staff
So expensive
It was all very nice. We stayed in one of lodges/cabins, which was excellent.
No complaints would definitely stay again.
Outstanding food. High quality rooms and clearly invested a lot of money in the property. Definitely one to return to.
We had to sleep with the windows open due to the heat and there was some noise from farm vehicles during harvest but nothing to much to be concerned about.
great spacious room. comfy bed. crisp linen and fluffy towels. lovely walking shower not tiny. Amazing kitchen & menu. lovely garden, outside eating area. easy parking. will return.
just re opened, so some staff in training period, ordering was not as smooth/quick. nice and sunny weekend - was busy especially with an event on nearby - more trained staff could have eased things for all
Nice sized comfortable room Big bathroom, nice shower & toiletries. Nice staff Delicious breakfast Meal in restaurant was superb
Very small TV
It was very clean
we liked everything
Pretty pub and village, good location for Wells and Holkham
The property changed ownership between booking and arrival. The restaurant was poor with little choice. The staff member that dealt with us on arrival was brusque.
Lovely comfortable room .Staff were polite and very helpful. Delicious breakfast
The food was lovely but the menu was, abit limited for a 3 night stay
Everything generally
The room was really lovely - extremely comfortable bed. huge bathroom. Great to have a kettle in the room to make tea.
Lovely location, really characterful old pub!

Lovely old building in the heart of the village
Nothing
Brilliant room, characterful, clean, and nicely decorated. Food was excellent, staff very friendly.
Neighbouring guests allowing the fire doors to slam.. but only a minor thing.
The property was in a lovely location only a few miles from Wells next the Sea The room was very comfortable and the food was excellent. There was a good selection of ales and other drinks to choose from. I would recommend booking for the evening meal, as once you get there, unless you want to drive, there isn’t anywhere else to eat close by. It is a great base for exploring the area The staff were very friendly
Nothing
Loved the chalet style rooms.
Nothing
Location, decor, atmosphere, comfort, facilities, food and drink
Nothing to report
Overall a great location.
Although it was the time of year for flies, felt that something should be put in place in the pub inside to get rid of them, we did end up eating outside.
The rooms were beautiful and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and so welcoming of our very big golden retriever! Great location for seeing all that north Norfolk has to offer.
Lovely staff, good food, great location.
Winter duvet in Summer.
The location was perfect; close to all of the north Norfolk hot spots. The outside character of the building was very picturesque. The inside is newly renovated/being finished and looking very nice. The room was very welcoming and comfortable with nice furnishings; the bed was so comfortable! The bathroom was huge and absolutely lovely with a free standing bath tub as well as spacious shower. The pub beer garden was very nice, private and clean. The breakfast was excellent!
The check-in felt a little rushed but there was no problem. It would be good to have an optional shower mat as the floor felt quite slippy.
fabulous location, food and staff. Nice room
Breakfast was great. Room very clean and comfortable.
Peaceful, excellent accommodation, clean.
Evening food, limited breakfast, inconsistent staff, but most were excellent, grass could do with cutting
Our room was a lovely size with large bathroom with shower and very well decorated and very clean. We also had dinner and breakfast which I would also recommend absolutely delicious. We also found the staff all very nice and made us feel welcome.
The accommodation and the area was lovely and peaceful.
Didn't like the fact that they allowed dogs in the restaurant where I was eating and was being attacked by fly's while trying to eat which put me off my food. Also was put in a room out the back to eat which was small and dark which had 3 dogs in there panting like mad while we was trying to eating.
Great location, room clean and shower really good
We weren’t advised that the pub closed at 10pm, so returning just before we were almost locked out. We weren’t aware that there was a fan in the wardrobe. Ran out of bacon and orange juice
Comfortable bed and good shower, really good breakfast. Marshmallow chocs in room. Friendly staff.
Extra redundant shelf above kettle etc in bedroom made a lot of the lower shelf inaccessible. I'm really being picky here.
Good location
The room was very hot but that was dud to the hot weather
Excellent accommodation. Everything about it was top notch
Great break, staff are ace, food lovely and the rooms are clean and comfortable...2nd stay in 2 months and hope to go back soon.
Fabulous room, big bathroom, comfortable bed, great pub
Limited menu
All very good
The bed was uncomfortable
Location, comfort, ev charging
Noisy sometimes from upstairs floorboards creaking, but it is an old property.
Lovely setting large back garden, dog made very welcome
Kitchen out off action for evening but they made arrangements for us to eat elsewhere, which was very nice
Quirky 18th century building
The room was clean but had a broken tile in the shower and the coffee and tea storage surface was dirty and had stains on it.
The full English breakfast was terrible!!! When we asked if we had the correct breakfast we were told they had run out of food so we got 2 eggs 1 tomato cut in half and sausage meat stuffing!!!
Friendly people. Room was great.
No wifi was a big negative. They need a better system to ensure coverage. The breakfast was very basic. They could offer something like avocado and toast instead of a heavier option
Not our first time staying at the three horseshoes, because we particularly like the pub. It is very well kept, tastefully decorated throughout, quality furnishings, stunning roses at the front. It is clean and cosy from the pub itself to the rooms. Super comfy beds, fluffy towels, quality toiletries, and a yummy breakfast included. It’s well located in a quiet, picturesque village, with plenty of parking.
Nothing
Nice, comfortable room. Excellent bathroom. Good food (excellent pies!). Friendly staff.
More electrical sockets in our room would have been helpful.
Everything. food , room ....staff parking.Wonderful, every single thing about the pub could not be faulted
Other than being able to stay longer, nothing
Our breakfast order was forgotten wasting 45 mins.
Fantastic bedroom
Food was lovely and staff all very helpful
Noise from the room above us - very loud early morning when they were walking about especially with shoes on
We have stopped at the Three Horseshoes before so knew what to expect and our night there did not disappoint. The location of the village is very tranquil with lovely walks nearby such as the Warham Camp Iron Age fort and two lovely rural churches to visit. Staff were all very friendly, the beer garden is lovely with areas to sit in the sun or shade and it is immaculacy kept. The bar has a good selection of wines, beers and spirts and with a good menu for lunch and evening meals The breakfast has a good menu to choose from too. We enjoyed a good, traditional pub meal in the evening and were served by friendly, relaxed, efficient staff. Good wine selection too. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with crisp bedding and comfy mattress and pillows. Rooms retain their character too despite having been redecorated since our last visit. In the morning we enjoyed a good, tasty and filling breakfast which again was nicely served by friendly staff. Would recommend the pub for a stay and if in the area again, we will definitely book again.
Liked everything.
Lovely pub with friendly staff. We were made very welcome (as was our dog). The room was large and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Great place to explore North Norfolk.
Nothing
Looked nice from the outside
Very cramped and small
Very welcoming, homely, warm and comfortable. Beautiful breakfast offered and served in the morning.
The room was lovely. The food accommodated out vegetarian needs and was very goo.
A comfortable pub/hotel with lots of character. Good food and drinks, friendly staff.
We had asked for a room with a bath, but this was not possible as the request had not been accepted by the property and they were fully booked. Fault in the Booking.com system. The owner was gracious enough to acknowledge the mix-up and we came to an amicable settlement on checking out.
Lovely breakfast. Quiet location and friendly staff. Ours in the restaurant are delicious and this is from someone who doesn’t usually eat pies.
Beautiful pub, rooms decorated nicely, service was outstanding
Fantastic room, very spacious suite with plenty of room for the kid in the TV room on the sofa bed. Main bedroom was large, as was bathroom and excellently fitted and finished. Shower was great, high pressure and plenty of hot water.
nothing
Great location in Warham. Room was spacious with both shower and roll top bath. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The garden was lovely and a great place for an early evening drink.
My dinner (burger) was a little overcooked However my husband had the fish cakes, steak pie and cheese cake and said they were delicious So maybe I made the wrong choice
Perfect location close to Wells beach and in a perfect spot for exploring the Norfolk coast. Rooms were clean and modern, lots of choice for breakfast which was delicious. Very dog friendly and a lovely outdoor courtyard and garden.
We stayed in the Walsingham room which was lovely except for the bathroom needing some attention. A strong sewage smell coming from the vent in the bathroom day and night. The extractor fan smelt burnt out and was unusable. Would be good to offer a bigger seating area for drinks inside the bar. Tables for food were full up and we couldn't get a drink as there was nowhere to sit.
The rooms were very spacious and very clean. We even got a dog bag which included a dog towel, treats and poo bags. Fiona was fantastic during our stay! She was really friendly and helpful! She even arranged a cake and a sing song for my husband’s birthday. She also give our dog a sausage every morning for breakfast which he thoroughly enjoyed! The staff were very accommodating, we needed to keep our dog food cold and we asked the staff for ice for our cooler box. Instead of ice Fiona let us put our dog food in the cooler box in their walk in fridge which was really kind of them, we appreciated this a lot as our dog food didn’t spoil.
The only negative I had was that one of the staff members was rude to me when we checked in. I had booked a meal via the chat/email service through booking.com to which the lady told me that there was no meal booked. I explained I had an email from the pub via booking.com and arranged it that way. She told me that I couldn’t book through booking.com and made it out like I was lying when I had email proof from the general manager. So that was a little disappointing but apart from that we had a fantastic stay!
Beautiful cosy room. Spotless and very welcoming staff.
Nothing
The staff were all friendly and helpful, the standard of cleanliness was high.
Charming old pub in typical red roofed Norfolk village with modern rooms, good food choice, recommended the pies, and didn’t disappoint Location great for exploring the North Norfolk villages too
Friendly welcome in a great pub, with excellent food
Would have preferred secure storage for the bike, but it was all fine.
Lovely room and en suite good service.
The breakfast was fantastic, the stay was peaceful and quiet, the room was exceptional really enjoyed our stay cant wait to book again
Nothing
We love staying for the location, staff are always happy and cleanliness...

Breakfast and dinner - so delicious.

Excellent dinner and breakfast Good company
Lovely big comfortable room but unfortunately we were both unwell for a couple of days so sadly couldn't gain the full benefit of their breakfasts and dinners.
Great country pub, real ale and good food, quiet rooms (beer garden not open in autumn).
10 minutes from Thursford for Christmas spectacular
Comfy room, very friendly staff, lovely food. Lots of free parking and good location. Would visit again.
Fire only ever had 1 log on it and it was very cold weather, would be more welcoming if it had a few flames! Could the breakfast include beans please 😀
Excellent food, facilities and staff
