I loved the old world charm of the pub and the friendliness if the staff. The location was tucked away from the main road so it was quiet. It was an easy walk over the footbridge to get to the marina and modern part of town.

My room was upstairs but a staff member very kindly carried my bag up for me.

Having stayed before I knew the location of the hotel which was perfect for accessing the ferry. Room was comfortable and clean. Large bathroom with both bath and shower.

As the room was situated over the pub, it was quite noisy, ok on the first night not too bad however on the Thursday evening it was very loud, music playing loudly beyond 10pm when we needed to get to sleep as heading out earlier the following morning which spolit the visit.

Such a lovely family-run place where guests are really looked after. Comfy beds, tasty generous breakfast, just perfect 🥰

Lovely boutique hotel, just 5 guest rooms. We had a very spacious twin bed room with en-suite. Very nicely decorated.

We loved everything. This place was a real treat for the last day of our holiday, before we had to fly home from Prestwick. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the food was clearly very fresh and delicious, especially the breakfast, the room was huge (we had the family room), light and airy, very clean, beds firm and very comfortable. Lovely fragrant soap products. Loved the little extra touches which put an extra smile on our faces. Nothing was too much trouble. It was an absolute joy staying here.

It was clean, the staff were great , really helpful and friendly. The room wax really clean, the restaurant and bar was really comfortable and cosy and the food was good. I went with my two teenage children and my dog in on large room and we all had an enjoyable stay.

I personally prefer some softer pillows and a softer mattress as I felt it was too hard and I struggled with sleeping but my teenaged didn’t notice. The place was very clean but there was general wear and tear but nothing really noticeable. Just a good one night stay. The local beach past the marina is lovely and within easy reach of the hotel.

Cute - very friendly and professional staff. Evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast. Would definitely book here again if we return to the area.

The breakfast was excellent along with the amazing personal friendship and morning greetings. The friendship of the staff has once again been second to none. Stayed in the hotel for the evening meal and again I cannot fault the lovely friendly Pub atmosphere a great menu and for me the fish and chips, which I’m addict for.

What didn’t I like was being asked ‘What I didn’t Like’! OK It is tired in places but this is the charm of staying there. I have stayed in hundreds of 5 star hotels around the World, where the staff treat you as a number or an inconvenience to their life. I enjoy the Inverkip Restaurant, Bar, bedroom and staff who do actually remember people and care.

Loved the location and the staff and Owner were amazing. The breakfast excellent.Parking was good, bed was very comfortable and the evening meal menu was very good. I had the the haddock and chips two nights because I enjoyed it so much. Well done

The bar had food on rhe carpet for 2 days in the eating area, the noise in the hotel was insane! Hoovering at 730 in the morning was horrible, the shower was broke ans there was a sign on what not to touch so obviously they knew about it. The electricity switched off the morning we were to leave so couldn't charge phone, watch TV or use hairdryer before leaving! Definitely wouldn't go back for the price for 2 nights

Genuinely welcoming. Everything was comfortable and luxurious, from abundant good strong tea (with complementary biscuits) on arrival, to super soft cotton bed linen and lovely fluffy towels in the huge bedroom, with huge ensuite bathroom. After a really good night's sleep, when we drew the thick curtains there were cheerful flowers in window boxes outside. There is a kettle and wide selection of hot drinks sachets, even fresh milk for tea to have in the room. The bathroom has a bath and the soap has a nice scent. The whole experience was Bliss

There were several short flights of stairs to get to the bedroom. None of these had handrails which is a risk to elderly people like us and iscontaryto current building standards

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Aufenthalt. Man fühlte sich von Anfang wie zuhause. Das Personal war ausserordentlich freundlich. Das Ambiente war sehr heimelig, das Essen in Restaurant war von grosse Klasse. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und die Matratzen waren sehr gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall zurück

The bedroom was extremely small shower didn't wrk and noisy. There was live music in bar first night really enjoyed but second night there was a private function on music loud till last at night.

The carpet looked warn but was clean, but there was no hot water in the morning for my colleague

After a long drive, we stayed here with a view to getting the ferry to Bute the next day. It was a perfect overnight stopover. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and had breakfast the next morning. The food was extremely good. Staff were very friendly and our room were very comfortable.

Staff are incredible and our room couldn’t have been cleaner. Nice little touches like a chocolate biscuit in the room. Breakfast amazing.

Room was small for two of us whilst single person with us had an enormous room. No sockets near the bed for charging phones etc, just one socket in room and another in the wardrobe(?) A bit of noise from the pub below but wasn’t a late finish.

Fantastic, friendly, helpful staff.ade us feel so welcome after a difficult day of terrible weather and ferry cancellations. Food was lovely in restaurant and very nice ambience. Comfortable, well thought out room. Breakfast included.

The staff were absolutely lovely, particularly Richard who kindly called us taxis, gave expert advice on local whiskey, and made sure we were comfortable. Everyone who worked there was warm and friendly.

The rooms are lovely, but we had some issues with the water pressure. The bathrooms could do with some updating but were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed.

Really impressed with this little place, staff were excellent, the staff were awesome and the bed and bedding were super comfy. Wifi great, parking easy, and super friendly staff make it all worth while.

Not a fan of an electric shower and fold away shower screen but that is just me being picky.

Comfortable bed and big fluffy towels. Ordered the house salad twice as enjoyed it so much the first time, this was full of fruit, really enjoyable!
