La maison d’hôtes est magnifique. Tout est décoré avec goût en conservant l’authenticité et le charme des maisons tunisiennes. L’accueil de Valérie est chaleureux, et Lamia la gouvernante est adorable, disponible et discrète. La découverte de la maison a été une accumulation de belles surprises. L’emplacement est également idéal, à proximité de tout mais sans être bruyant.

Valerie, the owner made the stay so much more enriching with her wealth of advice. The Dar is beautiful architecturally and the decor is something out of a magazine. Lamia, her caretaker and chef is also lovely. Besides a tasty breakfast daily, I requested a dinner the night I arrived and it was a delicious home cooked meal served at the rooftop deck. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and dont be put off by the request to send a deposit- it seems to be typical in Tunisia. She's flexible about it and I imagine a necessity to weed out flakes when you only have a few rooms available.

Tout......!!!!l'accueil, la disponibilité de Valérie.(qui ns a fait faire un tour ds Nabeul..).et celle de Lamia!!! Le petit dejeuner incroyablement delicieux...servi sur cette superbe terrasse!!!tout est magnifique .. décoré ac un goût"sans faute"....2 jours et 3 nuits de rêve!!!!

Maison magnifique, idéalement située. La propriétaire a pris le temps de nous accueillir et de nous faire une visite rapide de la médina. Petit dej super, préparé par Lamia, une gouvernante aux petits soins. Nous recommandons vivement !

We loved this place. Valerie is a terrific host and Lamia is super nice. The facilities are well maintained and the place is beautifully decorated. Valerie gave us a tour of the house and told us how it was remodeled. We imagine the terrace, patio and pool in the summer. The temperature was too cold to take advantage of them now. The instructions for the house and recommendations for restaurants and shopping were much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious and plenty. Everything was walking distance.

L’authenticité, l’architecture, le raffinement, le confort, l’accueil: Le séjour dans la maison était fantastique. Valérie, notre hôte, et Lamia, la gouvernante, nous ont formidablement accueillis. La maison garde toute l’authenticité d’une demeure tunisienne traditionnelle, avec un raffinement et un sens du détail extraordinaires, tout en offrant la modernité nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour. Le patio, la piscine et la terrasse sur les toits sont clairement un plus pour profiter d’un cadre authentique et unique.

Le cadre est simplement magnifique, tout était propice pour passer un agréable séjour. À part la maison, la chambre qui etaient top, le personnel est top! Vivement conseillé 10/10.

Der Service war sehr gut! Die Begrüßung sehr freundlich und eine vegane Frühstücksanfrage wurde erfüllt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und die Mischung aus traditionellen und modernen Elementen wirklich ansprechend und geschmackvoll. Der Pool ist ideal für eine Abkühlung zwischendurch.

The house is beautiful and seemed newly renovated. The staff was lovely and it felt like everything was catered especially for us. It was a great stay!

Unfortunately the weather wasn't great and limited spaces to relax if cold/windy/rain. Outside spaces are gorgeous and well kept but (obviously) designed to shelter you from the sun!

Our recent hotel stay was an absolute gem! Nestled right in the heart of the city, this place felt like a serene oasis. The rooms were beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable, striking that perfect balance between elegance and relaxation. What really made our experience special was the staff's incredible attention to detail - they went above and beyond with personalised recommendations that helped us discover hidden local treasures. The swimming pool was an amazing addition. When we needed help getting to the airport, they were incredibly supportive and made our travel smooth and stress-free. It's rare to find a hotel that feels both professionally managed and warmly personal, but this place nailed it perfectly!

The warm welcome

We really liked the charm of the house in Tunisian style. We really enjoyed the terrace and the pool which are beautiful. Valérie was very helpful with tips and suggestions on places to visit.

The meals were good but not exceptional. We would be very happy to pay a bit more for a more wholesome breakfast and dinner. Also noting that the rooms are beautiful, but not very well-suited to small children as there are a lot of precious/breakable objects.

My booking was arranged for 3 days and 2 nights and my schedule changed where I messaged Valerie if I can come a day earlier and have my booking for 4 days 3 nights, she was very cooperative and welcomed me on board. If I am ever again in Nabeul, definitely coming again to Dar R'bat. Thanks to Valerie and Iman who ensured that my stay was pleasant. The room blew my mind away along with the arts within and the cleanness level it has. And the whole Dar is just so beautifully finished with Nabeul artistic planter pots, the niche pool, the colorful towels, the house cat that I missed and the exceptional breakfast especially the croissant. The place is so calm and quite and is exactly what's needed especially at night after a long day strolling in Nabeul.

I liked everything

Valérie is an exceptional host. Valérie welcomed us at the property when we arrived and walked us around the place, explaining its history and the renovation work that she carried out over the years. The attention to detail and the good taste in the design make this property a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The traditional breakfast was delicious, the pool provided a nice place to chill and relax, and there are also loungers on the roof to sunbathe. What an excellent place to spend a few days’ holiday.

Not well insulated for sound - I was woken up by the 3am call to prayer.

Everything about Dar R'Bat was exquisite! Valerie is a fabulous host who cares about every detail of your stay. There are so many thoughtful touches to the home. We loved it all and would stay again and have already recommended to our friends. We loved the walking distance to the Medina and restaurants. Breakfast was so lovely - a work of art and extremely tasty and satisfying. Thank you so much, Valerie! For sure you will see us again.

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

We spent a wonderful week at the hotel and were completely satisfied. The house is a dream place. The terrace offers endless beautiful places to relax. The rooms are very special, lovingly and tastefully furnished. The breakfast is exceptionally good, freshly prepared and varied. We felt at home from the very beginning. This was not only due to the accommodation itself but also to Valérie. She is a great host. There is no other way to describe it. She is super kind, helpful and could help us with many things, she gave us great tips for beaches and day trips or helped us when we had problems with the rental car.

There is nothing that we noticed badly. We would like to come again :)

A traditional quaint little place which has been beautifully restored by the elegant French owner. An unexpected little oasis of calm in a busy area. We were made to feel very welcome, the service is personal. The delicious plentiful breakfast was served wherever we wanted, rooftop, lobby or patio. Imene the housekeeper was available and discreet at the same time. She prepared a fantastic traditional meal for us. To top it all off, the cutest cat who is as friendly as the owner! We loved everything about Dar R'Bat.

Authentic place to see Tunisian way of living. Good alternative compared to hotel - fully renovated and good combination of contemporary style & still presenting original vibe. Everything is on walking distance and perfect to discover Nabeul.
