Huge, very clean room, brilliant host, and a great location. We loved our 2 day stay, would have liked to have stayed longer

We had such a great stay here! The host is super friendly and helpful! He gave us all the information we needed to reach the hotel and a map on arrival with all the spots he recommends to visit. The room is spacious and comfy, we had free water bottles and cookies on arrival which was a nice gesture. The area is also super quiet which we really enjoyed after 5 days in Seoul. The breakfast although simple was very welcome to get us started. The hotel itself is situated at one of the edges of the Hanok village but we could do everything by foot!

The staff was very nice and the guesthouse was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). The unit was clean, and we had more than enough space and bathrooms. The location is very close to the river and bridges, and not too far from restaurants. Nambu night market was also very close, so that was a great experience. Also the owner gave us a lot of suggestions for food and provided many maps and guides for things to do and see in Jeonju. All in all a great stay and we would love to come here again.

Not much to say, location could be closer to the heart of Hanok Village for some but we enjoyed the quiet of being a block or two away from the center.

Het was een heel schattig klein, maar ruimte genoeg, kamertje waarin wij verbleven. Het had alles wat je nodig had. De eigenaar was ook echt geweldig en hielp ons met wat wij maar nodig hadden. Wij zouden dit verblijf zeker aanraden!

We had a really nice stay at Haengok Guesthouse. The location is great — right on the edge of Hanok Village, with lots of good restaurants nearby and everything within walking distance. Our host was incredibly kind and friendly, and we felt very welcome. He answered all our questions, gave us great restaurant recommendations, and even surprised us with delicious egg tarts and cold drinks. When our daughter needed to see a doctor, he told us exactly where to go and helped us get a taxi. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable, and having three bathrooms was super convenient. The massage chair felt amazing after a long day in the village, the air conditioning worked perfectly, the bathrooms and showers were a good size, and the outdoor area was lovely. It was also very quiet at night. The door code lock was practical and easy to use. We really enjoyed our stay and loved everything about this place. We would definitely stay at Haengok Guesthouse again if we come back to Jeonju.

Es un oasis de paz, muy cerca de todo pero a la vez tranquilo, muy tranquilo, sin ruidos. Cama comoda, un baño con ducha y otro con inodoro. La estancia es amplia y agradable, desayuno muy saludable. Tiene un jardíncillo muy agradable, y el dueño es muy educado, amable, atento y te ayuda en lo que necesitas, por ejemplo reservando un taxi o buscando horarios de autobuses

The host, Mr Song and his wife, the cleanliness, the location, everything. It is definitely the best place i have stayed at and felt really at home. Cleanliness level, comparable to a 5 star hotel. I like the hair dryer too, finally a decent and strong hair dryer. Mr Song, thank you for your breakfast :)

Todo. La habitación era grande y tenía de todo, además el propio hotel es una casa hanok preciosa. El dueño es super simpático y nos preparaba el desayuno todos los días. Además el último día teníamos que irnos temprano y se ofreció a adelantarnos la hora del desayuno para que pudiéramos tomarlo y después nos pidió un taxi para la estación. Pudimos lavar la ropa ya que tiene lavadora gratuita. Además te deja información súper útil sobre cosas que hacer y visitar en Jeonju. Fue sin duda el mejor alojamiento de nuestro viaje a Corea.

Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We felt right at home during our entire stay! The location was amazing — almost everything was within walking distance, which made getting around so easy. On top of that, the place was spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!

We really really enjoyed our stay here. Its located at a very convenient location but its quiet, just minutes from the Hanok Village. Mr Song was cheerful, warm and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, the ac and shower works great too.

L’emplacement était parfait pour visiter le village hanok et toutes les principales attractions de la ville à pied. Le logement était comme sur les photos et très confortable. Mais le mieux c’était l’accueil de notre hôte qui a vraiment été d’une grande aide pour nous avec ses recommandations, il nous a fait goûter au gukbap de pousses de soja qui a été une très belle découverte. C’est quelqu’un de très sympathique, avenant et agréable et il a rendu notre séjour plus authentique. Une belle rencontre. Merci pour tout!

Hele vriendelijke gastheer, gastvrije ontvangst. We hadden eerst een hanok geboekt elders, maar het slapen op de grond was niet geschikt voor ons, wij hebben hier heerlijk geslapen op een echte matras! rustig gelegen met zitje in de tuin.

Elegir el alojamiento de Song ha sido un acierto. Es un tipo muy majo, que te recomienda y facilita toda la estancia en Jeonju, además de preparar un buen desayuno para comenzar el día. Incluso nos invitó a probar el desayuno coreano tradicional. Sin duda, un lugar excelente, cómodo y en el que te sientes como en casa. Gracias por todo!

We had an amazing stay! The location is perfect, right next to the river and the Hanok village, which made everything easily accessible and very scenic. The house itself is beautiful, embracing the traditional Korean style while still offering all the modern comforts you need. It felt both authentic and very comfortable. The garden was especially lovely, so relaxing, with beautiful flowers and a cozy seating area where we enjoyed spending time with my spouse and friends. And of course, the hosts were incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling, which made our stay even more special. We absolutely loved everything and would definitely stay again!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Great guesthouse - considering you will not probably stay more than one night in Jeonju! If you don't wanna stay in a hanok, this is a great alternative with a real shower :-) The 2 owners are simply amazing! They were very welcoming and supporting and gave also some good food recommendation!

In general everything was great! Maybe 2 slightly bigger pillows would be a good nice to have :-)

Bathroom and utilities: Everything needed was available. Very good water pressure.

The kitchen was tiny and not really useful for cooking.

Charmant Guesthouse littéralement à 2 pas du village hanok de Jeonju. Le couple propriétaire de l’établissement est adorable et est vraiment aux petits soins. Par ailleurs, la chambre est impeccable, au calme et, fait rare pour être signalé, les toilettes et la salle d’eau sont séparées. Je recommande cet établissement sans hésitation. On y est beaucoup mieux que dans les maisons hanok traditionnelles.

De eigenaar van het verblijf was zooooo aardig! Hij hielp met het vinden van de leukste eettentjes en dingen om te doen. Ook hadden we problemen met de trein en taxi en daar hielp hij ook bij! Echt een topper! Verder was de accommodatie heel goed en vooral de tuin beviel ons enorm. De locatie was ook goed!

We stayed just one night, which honestly felt too short. The room is beautiful, calm, well-designed, with a great view over the hanok houses. Location is also perfect. You can walk everywhere. But the real highlight is the host. Genuinely kind, thoughtful, and super helpful. He shared a few restaurant and café recommendations, we tried several and all were spot on! The teahouse in particular was amazing. Those recommendations really elevated our experience in Jeonju. Thank you again, we’d love to come back.

I loved everything about this place. It was clean, comfortable, great location! It was very quiet at night, and due to the location, it allows you to easily walk around the Hanok village. We love everything about the Guesthouse including the interior design. Our hosts Haengok and Mr. Song were very gracious and helpful. They also have a cozy cafe for their guests. The location is perfect too!

Los dueños son encantadores, muy serviciales y siempre pendientes de nosotros, pero sin molestar. Te preparan un desayuno acorde a tu nacionalidad todas las mañanas sin cargo extra. Está en el Hanok Village, muy cerca andando de todo. La habitación amplia, cama muy cómoda, aire acondicionado.

Die Wohnung hatte eine super Lage und sehr zentral gelegen. Die beiden Inhaber waren super gastfreundlich und zuvorkommen. Da gehen wir sehr gerne wider hin :)

I loved my stay here! The host was super friendly and welcoming, and even shared great food and attraction tips. The room was quiet, spotlessly clean and looked exactly like the photos. Comfortable bed, modern yet traditional vibe, and the underfloor heating was a lifesaver during cold nights (plus a portable electric heater and hot showers!). I was able to rest well during all the three nights. The attention to detail from the host was clear – from the thoughtful interior to making sure I stayed warm and cozy throughout the cold nights. Location is great too! The guesthouse is walking distance to attractions and a lovely stream nearby. The host even helped book a taxi when I checked out in the early morning.

De tudo. Desde a incrível amabilidade dos proprietários ao conforto e localização do espaço. Só tive pena de não ficar mais tempo porque senti-me verdadeiramente acolhida. Se voltar ficarei seguramente no mesmo sítio.

O frigorífico faz algum barulho o que pode incomodar quem tenha um sono leve e as toalhas providenciadas são todas pequeninas.

Mr. Song was an excellent host. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was good.

As we are on a carnivore diet, the breakfast was a little bit sparse but we supplemented by purchasing eggs and meat at the nearest 7/11 which was not problem.

Ontbijt is simpel. Op zich niet zo erg, want er zijn meer dan voldoende eetgelegenheden in de buurt.

Ich hatte einen tollen und entspannten Aufenthalt. Der Gastgeber war sehr, sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Er hatte tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants. Die Lage war sehr gut. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und gemütlich und angenehm warm. Die Fußbodenheizung war super. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

The location was outstanding, right on the doorstep of the traditional village within a short walk of great food, cafes, attractions, arts and crafts. Beautiful facilities, a modern touch on a traditional Korean home, we loved the guest house. Very peaceful with everything we needed.

Habitación cómoda, amplia, tenía dos baños una con ducha y lavabo y la otra con inodoro y un lavabo. Los propietarios te la casa son súper majos, te tiene preparado una guía de los restaurantes y lugares turísticos que tienes que ver. Ha sido una buena experiencia dormir en un hanok

Der Besitzer ist wirklich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er gibt sich viel Mühe und kümmert sich um seine Gäste. Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Es sind nur wenige Meter in das Hanok-Village, sowie zum Markt und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es war ein sauberes Zimmer und sogar mit einem kleinen Garten, den man nutzen konnte.

Außerordentlich freundlicher Gastgeber, sehr entgegenkommend mit etwas früherem Einchecken. Exzellente Lage direkt am Rand des Hanok, trotzdem sehr ruhig, ein für koreanische Verhältnisse großer Raum mit kleiner Terrasse davor. Ausreichende und große! Handtücher.

Mr Song is just one of life’s gems. The location is perfect, the shower one of the best we’ve experienced and the option to relax with a coffee on the terrace was very welcome. Excellent local hiking options too.

We really enjoyed our stay in Jeonju! Our host was friendly, attentive and helpful and gave us great recommendations for both activities and restaurants! The guesthouse was centrally located and all the major tourist attractions were within walking distance. The room was spotless and very comfortable with a lovely decking area where we enjoyed reading our books. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone planning on visiting Jeonju!

Los dueños de alojamiento fueron muy simpáticos y facilitaron todo muchísimo dándonos recomendaciones de sitios que visitar y donde comer en la zona histórica. La habitación estaba muy limpia y muy bien equipada. Tenía todas las comodidades. Un sitio recomendado al 100%.

El señor Song y su esposa son encantadores y atentos, cuidando de que la estancia en Jeonju sea perfecta. La habitación esta completamente equipada y es muy amplia, resulta comodísima. La opción del desayuno sale muy bien por qué es variado y generoso. Tiene además un pequeño jardín privado muy bien cuidado que resulta muy agradable.

The host is extremely kind and helpful, he lent us umbrellas and organized taxis whenever needed. The location is phenomenal for visiting Hanok Village and several historic places. We would definitely come back!

The bed was a tiny bit small for two people and very soft but overall the rest makes totally up for it!
