Ranjith and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We felt very comfortable. Amazing view from the porch/terrace. Also conveniently located in the city of Kandy. A clean place to come back every night and relax after exploring Kandy.

Хозяин отеля Ranji сделал все возможное, чтобы наше пребывание в отеле было комфортным и приятным, он помог нам с обменом денег, за разумную доплату предложил повысить класс номера, съездил для нас в магазин поздно вечером и вообще был очень милым и вежливым. Сам отель нам очень понравился, в номерах чисто, с балкона и терассы открывается потрясающий вид, завтрак был вкусным и сытным, что мы даже не смогли все осилить и попросили Ranji забрать часть завтрака с собой. Смело ставлю отелю оценку 10.

The property is exceptional! The best view in Kandy. You can see sunrise directly from your room. The rooms are spacious, clean and full of facilities. Special thanks to hotel owner Ranjith for making the arrangements. He was generous enough to upgrade our rooms and provide balcony in our rooms. He also specially arranged Vegetarian Breakfast. Due to which, we were able to try many new Sri Lankan Food. The Best in Kandy. 🙌✨

The road to the Hotel might be tricky for new drivers.

The boy who worked did not speak english, but the owner was very helpfull, so everything was ok.

Since my wife is sick we pre request clean and hysterical room but aftwr ww checked in to the room we found that te bed linnen is dirtyand we ask to changed the linnen and the owner was very rude and he used bad words and ask us to leave the hotel This hotel has bad history and we want booking.com to take very serious action against the hotel

I stayed in a room with a balcony, the view was amazing. The room was large and clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful.

Ranji is an exceptional host, very enthusiastic about making sure you have everything you need. Romance hills has stunning views, a great hot shower and delicious breakfast. Recommended.

A million-dollar view, a stunning panorama of Kandy. The room was exactly as pictured, very large and spacious, and the balcony.... is absolutely the best, definitely worth the money. Comfortable bed, good location close to the center. The owner is a very nice and caring person! Thank you!

The "VIEW", the breath taking view of the central mountains of Sri Lanka, The whole room is surrounded by huge GLASS and make you feels like You simply life in "Han Solo's" "Millenium Falcon" landed on top of a mountain in "Kundasale". It was amazing, I was there for two nights and I spent most of my time on the balcony gawking at the magnificent view of the mountains, It's better than going to "horton plains" for the morning dewy view of the mountains. You can see how fog forms and covers the moutnains, the far away chantings of the temple. It is simply the view. The room and washroom was clean and very spacious. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The tenant of the property is very friendly when giving out the directions to nearby places. Pizza hut delivers to the place, if you walk down the street there is a nice little bakery with sri lankan style breakfast called "Delish".

Beautiful scenic room, GREAT host, makes you feel special and very welcoming. Over all good value for.money. As owner requested avoid any food or drink inside, tooooo many ants if you accidentally drop food / drinks.

Requested for late lunch from in- house restaurant, probably ordered from outside, not so good.

The owner was extremly friendly and helpful. The room was exactly as in the pictures. It was our best stay in Kandy.

Balcony door wasnt sealed fully, and some insects found their way in during the storm.

The place was very well located with a stunning view. All the rooms were extremely clean, beds were very comfortable and we had a lot of room. The host, Ranjith, was very kind and of great help for everything we needed. We are all very happy to crossed his path.

I had a great experience at Romance Hill Hotel in Kandy. The location is perfect, offering amazing nature views that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room was very comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean — overall, a truly enjoyable stay.

Only stayed one night but the place is amazing! Also the view when you have your breakfast is amazing! Nice breakfast, the owner very friendly, will help you out with everything! Next time I will definitely stay there!

Balcony/lounge furniture needed upgrades, view from here was fantastic.

They served us beer on the Full Moon holiday when no other bar or hotel was serving alcohol!

The dishonest owner who shook my hand on a deal for a three night stay and then obviously got offered more for our room and told us to find another hotel after two nights. The air conditioning unit was dripping water onto our bed all night. We had no hot water during our stay. They serve powdered milk with tea and coffee when real milk is readily available.

There was smell in the bathroom, no exhaust fan.

We received a room upgrade, free welcome drink and fruit platters for breakfast. The room was huge and better than we expected.

The best part of this hotel is the view of the mountains. The room is spacious and clean. The location is some distance (roughly 2-3 kms) from the main city area and is up on a steep hill road (can be accessed via tuk tuk or a long walk). Sounds from outside can be easily heard within the room.

Views, comfy bed, location, friendly and helpful staff. Truly stunning location. Tuk tuk tour was good and driver Austin was great.

One caveat to the tuk tuk tour - if you go to the 'herb garden' be prepared to be pitched to. Before you know it, you are with a herb doctor and you are kind of roped in to their sales pitch. And they charge exorbitant amounts for (some of) their products. Feels very underhand and deceitful. If you do go, make sure your eyes are wide open! Beware of sales tactics of owner - noone likes to feel they are dealing with a snake oil salesman.

The Views are incredible and the host could not do enough for you. Lovely breakfast.

The walk up the hill but worth it.

Location is awesome with knuckles five peaks view. Super comfy extra large space room and large private balcony gave us romantic privacy. Fabulous stay with clean, comfy bed and amenities. Also, the dining area is awesome for morning breakfast with the mountain view.

What a lovely place. The room was really clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. We even had a room upgrade. The view is wonderful. Really relaxing.

This is the worst experience I ever had in a hotel.

The staff was incredibly unhelpful and rude to us. I had to carry all my bags to my room myself. The room had a strong, unpleasant smell, likely due to old, unwashed towels with a chemical-like odor. The toilet cover was peeling off, and there was no place to plug in my charger. The sound bed was also quite unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as a standard 3-star hotel at all.

Overall it doesn’t give you a good feel, a little unpleasant experience compared to rest of the places we stayed. A little shady from family point of view. Did not like the stay

The photos looked great, but the reality was quite disappointing. The hotel is in serious need of renovation. The only positive aspect was the friendly and helpful staff. My room had no view at all, which was a letdown. Don’t be misled by the pictures there are plenty of better options in Kandy within the same price range

Not worth the money. Far from the city center of Kandy, the road to the hotel is dangerous, and there is not enough parking space.

A small challenge faced in breakfast , we requested Sri Lankan breakfast however the owner forgot to inform the staff & we had to settle with western breakfast

Lovely hotel set on top of hill. Beautiful views which would have been even better if it hadn’t been cloudy & misty in the morning. Staff very good & helpful. Room was good size. Kettle and tea making facilities in room. As well as small sofa and A/C great open lounge area for everyone to use to chill out and enjoy the views. Lovely breakfast made for us by the owner who was very friendly & served on rooftop with lovely views. Really enjoyed our stay here. It was only for 1 night, wish we could’ve stayed for longer. They had a good menu for guests but we did not order anything as we had already eaten before coming to hotel.

Very steep hill to get to the hotel, but once you’re there the staff are there to help with luggage. Bathroom quite small and once you use the shower everything gets wet including WC. As there is no shower screen. Floor stayed wet all night after using shower. Would be much better if they put a screen to stop shower water going everywhere. Otherwise all good.

The view was amazing, especially to sunrise and sunset, overlooking the river and mountains beyond. Ranji the owner and the other staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was large, and the shower was great.

The rooms shared a balcony with one or two other rooms, so was not private. Not really a problem, but Booking says this is in city centre, but it's 4.5 km outside so you need a ruk tuk in and out (600 & 800 rupees)
