White Windmill Guesthouse

Posizione ottima.

Le lenzuola di poliestere

A small guesthouse, very friendly hosts. Situated on a hillside, it's only a 13-minute walk from the train station, but the climb is very steep. Keep this in mind if you're traveling with luggage. The kitchen is shared and includes cutlery, a stove, and a microwave. There's cereal, bread, coffee, and eggs, jam, and milk in the fridge, so you can make your own breakfast. There's a large park nearby, perfect for hiking, and the cable car is also within walking distance.

Good location and nice view. Traditional Korean style guesthouse. Breakfast included, though very basic.

Very thin futons. Thus, very hard to sleep on.

Ubicación. Vistas. Diseño habitación y tamaño. Baño cómodo. Desayuno de cortesía autoservicio. Correcto, básico.

Zonas comunes. Sin ascensor. No hay armarios, solo una percha.

Das Zimmer und die Lage.

Das Frühstück hätte reichhaltiger sein können.

En haut de la colline 😅

There is such a relaxed, homely vibe at this lovely guesthouse.

Nothing bad to say

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable accommodation. There is a common area with a basic kitchen where we can prepare simple meals. Bed was comfortable with a warmer. Was able to get a good night's sleep. Owner was communicative and friendly. Located on a hill near a park.

It was really great! A really nice place!

Stayed here for over a week. Room was quiet and very clean. My wife and I liked the location. A park was across the street, providing great views! Price was very reasonable. Staff speaks fluent English and Korean.

I'm really pleased I chose this place for my visit to Mokpo. I'm also very glad I went to Mokpo. It's a wonderful city! This guesthouse is close enough to almost everything you will want to see and do that you can walk to them. Even the train station is within walking distance. The location is perfect. But be prepared to climb many stairs or mountain roads to get where you want to go. The building is halfway up Yudalsan right beside the famous Ideungbawi. This makes climbing all the way to the top of the mountain easier but it also means you'll be climbing back to the guest house at the end of each day. The interior is simply decorated in very tasteful ways. The lights in the eating area subtly hold a seafaring theme. They hang from block pulley hardware. My room was in shades of grey and white, as was the bathroom. The rooms all have beautiful views overlooking the city. The city landscape changes with the weather, you will never tire of it. Breakfast comes with the room fee. Eggs, jam, bread, cereal, milk, coffee, and noodles are all available for you to prepare for yourself. Be sure to clean all of your dishes. At the ground level, the owner operates a coffee shop. This might cause a little confusion when you arrive. The owner is justifiably proud of what he has achieved. He is very kind and helpful, although english is limited. We communicated very well through Papago. I heartily recommend staying here when visting Mokpo!

Wonderful

Is close to many attractions. At the Mount yuldasan so it is refreshing. The environment is great. Very good for doing the trails and hiking in Yuldasan. A guesthouse but the room is as good as 3 star hotel.

The up hill walk is quite taxing and no restaurants near the guesthouse. . You have to walk down hill to good restaurants. No public transportation too.

Clean and comfy bed. Basic breakfast was included in price with cook your own eggs.

Only drink available in the kitchen was coffee or water. A range of teas would have been great.

Manegement was fantastic helpful helping me with a bad foot (toe) situation, walking too much on the mountains. Mr. Kim help me cutting a hole in my sneaker so I could walk again without pain. He also went out of his way to get me some medication and band-aids helping healing my foot ... and while I was waiting he served me coffee and called my wife to make sure everything was OK ! THANK YOU !!!

Breakfast could be a little better, but considered everything else ... this was just a minor issue :-)

Friendly staff who provided precious help figuring out the Jeju bound ferry situation. It was very clean, everything functioning well. The location on top of a hill overlooking the city is pretty nice.

It’s not very difficult to find, but the expected white mill isn’t there anymore. Look for a small sign instead.

Nice place. Located up a hill near scenic park. Walkable to train and ferry terminals.

My second time staying here. Located right in front of Yudolsan! Can’t beat that! Bathroom is large and there is a communal kitchen. All very clean. Will come back again, if I get a chance to visit Mokpo.

Location was perfect. ..close proximity to Yudalsan Mountain - walking tracks Walking track is opposite the Guesthouse. It's approximately 10minutes walk from Mokpo Station. The host was helpful, woke up early to organise a taxi for us to the Ferry Terminal. The room was clean and comfortable. Access to the kitchen was a bonus. It had a very homey feel. I would definitely choose to stay again at the Guesthouse.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great, situated halfway between the train station and the ferry terminal. Bed was nice and big and comfortable. Perfect little stopover before taking the Jeju ferry. Nice that there was some breakfast food available in the fridge.

Perhaps a little bit pricey for what it was? But that might be because there were only twin rooms left when I booked, so I paid more for a bigger room.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They owned the cafe at ground floor too. We had simple breakfast (provided) in the common pantry. The Guesthouse is near to most places of interest. A short walk downhill will take you to the town with all the eating places, including the famous Colombang Bakery (a must-try!). Buses are accessible in town. We noticed that most shops, cafes and eateries were closed by sunset (maybe because of the winter season). If you are not driving or have huge luggage with you, you are strongly advised to take the taxi. The Guesthouse is located uphill.

None.

Spacious clean room with a great view. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable breakfast.

Drove up and had to ask around for the place as there was no signboard in English and the stylised windmill logo is not prominent.

There was neither glass nor cup in the room.

Situated in a great place for hiking the park, easy access.Spacious room.

Big room and bathroom. Clean.

Two flights of stairs. Not great for persons with disabilities.

This is in the Yudalsan Mountain region- I learned fast that you will need to climb steps/steep hills to get to this place. But being in this area put me near many major attractions in this area. Breakfast is self-serve (you need to cook your own eggs and wash your own dishes). The cafe has great smoothies but does not observe the posted hours. It was closed after 8 pm. The kitchen roof was leaking due to a lot of rain. Staff and room were great!

Very clean, quiet, cafe right upstairs for coffee and to relax. Breakfast was delicious, and very accessible.

We had to wash our own dishes after breakfast

The location is excellent!!! Just a 10 minutes walk from the train station and right in front of Yudalsan Mountain where you can take the cable car. The room was comfortable and being able to have breakfast before heading for a day of sightseeing was a big plus.

The room is pretty small but neat and tidy. It's located up the hill so please expect to walk uphill. I had a nice stay, especially they provide self-help breakfast which I can enjoy either Korean or Western style of breakfast.

Location, comfortable beds, room, peace & quiet, wifi, hosts, value.

Not so much an issue, just note that parking is on the street rather than on premises. The street parking was fine, but not being familiar with local rules, we just had to ask where it was acceptable to park.

Location

Breakfast

The room is bigger and more comfortable than I expected! The shower is really nice, and they have the heater for the bed, it’s really important in the winter and I had 2 sweet nights! The location is also great, near to lots of sight, it’s also close to the bus stop. You can take bus to the cable car station easily!

Everything is nice but it’ll be better if it can have the side table beside the bed.

close proximity to everything

Amazing location and the city view from the room was impressive. The adjacent coffee shop is very cute! Room was big and clean with a nice shower. Breakfast was good and the place was altogether welcoming :)

Did not find a controller for the floor heating which was a bit too hot for our taste. Slept with the window open which was fine because there was a mosquito net although a little noisy because of the wind.

The room is so nice and the lady owner always try her best to help eventhough she can't speak English well!

I hope the owner of the guesthouse can give some guide regarding how to go to the places to be visited nearby or what to do around the city, it would be helpful for a foreign traveller! She could learn some basic English phrase for a better experience! Anw, all good but can be improved more!

Nice big room, Nice view

Rooms werde Not cleaned and toilet paper had to be thrown in the bin - after a view das we fehlt uncomfortable with the Füll in in the room Breakfast was half of the time not available

Beautiful & clean room, nice staff, nice interior

It would have been nice to have bread for breakfast.

Clean, nice room and breakfast available

everything ok

Clean and comfortable room.

Air conditioner slag

nice rooms, easygoing staff

breakfast is very basic

The room was perfect and the kitchen and breakfast were also nice

The were reforming the restaurant above (same owners) qmd they used to make noise very early in the morning so waking up was not that nice. Also one day the water was cut without warning

Spacious rooms and the generosity of the staff who took care of cleaning our clothes

Self breakfast was simple but efficient. Would suggest some tea and butter

Miss some tea bags for breakfast

The staff was very nice, and the city view from my room was great.

The accommodation is better than the pictures and reviews. We can see the sunrise and sunset (curtain can black it out). The host is very friendly and kind. He speaks some English with us. We met his family and some friends. We had an amazing time in Mokpo and South West of Korea. We wish we could have stayed even longer. We booked one night and paid for another 2 nights. Literally next to several attractions and easy to taxi around.
