Reviewed Sep 7, 2026The property was excellent overall The reception lady was very professional, kind, friendly and always willing to help The room was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed, including our own kitchen and bathroom I really liked the fact that the place feels more like a home than a traditional hotel, with the freedom to cook your own meals and feel comfortable during your stay Everything was clean and well maintained One thing I really appreciated was that they gave me a small paper with important information on it, including the WiFi password and other useful details The WiFi was fast and free which was very helpful During my stay I sometimes forgot my room number or other information, but I always had that paper with me and it helped me a lot It was a very simple but useful thing to provide guests I honestly wish I had stayed here during my first visit to Borlänge This was my second visit, and from now on I will definitely choose this place whenever I come back
There are only two things I would suggest improving First, the check in time is quite late, from 5 PM to 8 PM I arrived in Borlänge at around 3 PM and had to wait outside until 5 PM Luckily, the weather was sunny and clear, but after travelling by flight, it would be much better to be able to enter the property and relax as soon as possible An online/self check in option, such as a door code or a secure key box, would be a great solution for guests arriving before 5 PM The second thing is that bed sheets and towels have to be rented separately Apart from these two points, I really have nothing negative to say

Att man inte lyssnar på en gäst som berättar att hen är i princip blind och samma dag man ska komma får man sms om hur man ska köra bil, vart man ska parkera och sedan checka in på egen hand utan att kunna se eftersom det var obemannat och ingen var villig att finnas på på plats i personalen fast jag berättat att jag är blind och hade speciella behov. Fick därför leta upp annat vandrarhem som var på plats utanför ordinarie incheckning då jag förklarat mina behov och funktionshinder. Har nekats att få pengar tillbaka

Inget fel på boendet i sig men ett obehagligt område, folk som skriker utanför fast klockan var 00:00, massa obehagliga människor som bor där, vet inte om det är ett flyktingboende i området…

Reviewed May 1, 2026The room was small but enough space for a suitcase and travelling backpack. The bed is SUPER comfy. Nice kitchen space, maybe missing a couch somewhere to chill outside the room but not a big deal. Not loud, safe windows. The owner was communicating great and quick and adapted the checkin to my early arrival! I am deeply grateful.
Some small kitchen staples would be appreciated as I was not there long enough to need full size items. Some oil, soluble coffee, a few spices would be helpful. Same with some plastic boxes to store food in the fridge. The room was barely clean, there was dust on the desk, spider webs around the window. Same with the shower. The room door system is highly impractical. I guess it is a fire safe door? But it is really hard to push if you have mobility issues and you cannot keep it open if you need to go back and forth, it is really loud and disturbs the neighbors in the other rooms, especially at night. Also, somebody walked in during my stay at 9am, banging the doors. I was trying to sleep and when I went out of the room, the person was gone. It did not feel very safe. I don't remember my first stays to have been like this, I am a bit disappointed this time 😰 For the price you pay, I would expect bedsheets yo be included...

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026Toppenbra att personalen fixade så vi kunde bo tillsammans i våra 3 rum. Jag gillade att vi hade som en egen lägenhet med olika rum. Jag bodde i ett stort rum så vi alla kunde få plats och umgås där.
Soffan var väldigt ranglig, vattenkokaren var äcklig inuti och det var dammigt i rummet. Det känns som att den föregående hyresgästen inte städat efter sig.

Impossible to find a clean pot in the kitchen. There is no dishwasher and apparently not every guest is capable of properly cleaning the dishes after themselves.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Den var helt OK , det fanns allt som vi vanligtvis brukar ha vid frukost! Hela rummet var trivsamt att sitta i och personal uppträdde exemplariskt.
Utemiljön var oacceptabel, väldigt stökigt med skräp på många platser där det inte skulle vara! Borlänge kommun måste vara mer angelägen om att boende miljöerna känns friska och trivsamma. Det här området var definitivt inte självläkande miljö för någon. Stackars barn som skall veva runt där.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025Bra kontakt med företaget, trevlig personal, boendet var klart bra för 500kr/natt. Området dock helt hemskt. Kom inte in genom porten och detta är ett ökänt område i Borlänge. När gäng gick förbi när jag försökte ta mig in så var jag på riktigt rädd för mitt liv. Kommer tyvärr inte boka här igen.

Hyrde ett rum en natt. Det var bäddsoffa och det fanns ingen bäddmadrass. Hade inte velat sova mer än en natt pga knappar i soffan, som även hade lutande säte. Städningen i rummet var dålig. Dammigt utöver bord och bänkskivor. Damm under sängar, golvlister var dåligt städade, såg ut som mögel på duschväggen. Grovstädning av hela lägenheten är nödvändigt.
