Bai Sha Tan Cottage

Small hotel just a few steps from the main road and in walking distance to both beaches. The room is spacious. The receptionists speaks excellent English and welcomed me warmly. However, her working hours are quite limited and most of the time she was not around...

There was no handsoap in the bathroom. Luckily. i always have my own soap with me... They should offer beach towles to guests! They texted me in advance asking about my arrival time, only to inform me that there won't be anyone around until official check in at 3 pm. When I arrived the clearer was very nice and helpful (big thanks!!!) but since I had been asked abouty exact arrival time, I actually expect the receptionist to be there to welcome me and keep an eye on my luggage should the room not be ready yet.

The room is probably one of the nicest, cleanest rooms ive stayed in Kenting (better than Chateau & Caesar Park). The shower pressure is fantastic. Location on the main strip and a few minutes walk to the beach.

Nothing

Room was nice, clean, big and located just at the end of the main road, so close to everything but in a quiet area. Terrace with amazing view open to the guests from where you can see a nice sunset. Super nice and friendly host!

Great spot at a good price. Nice discount at nearby Thai restaurant owned by same family.

We stayed in the Deluxe Room (top floor). Big room, well equipped and comfy bed. Great location near a nice beach and bar, super friendly and attentive host and many shops and restaurants nearby (the affiliated Thai restaurant across the street is also really good). They also arranged pickup and transfer from/to Kaohsiung for us for roughly the same price as the tourist shuttle, totally worth it. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Nothing comes to mind, just be aware that there’s no elevator.

Great location, quiet, clean and comfortable.

No elevator, air conditioning was loud.

It’s near the busy Kenting Street Night Market, which is quite convenient for accessing public facilities and nearby attractions.

1. The place is located in a small alley, which makes it quite difficult to find. 2. It’s hard to locate the onsite staff in the morning and evening—you’ll need to contact them via WhatsApp or Line. 3. There’s no accessibility equipment, and only stairs are available. 4. The room tends to be damp and wet, so please be cautious if you have allergic rhinitis. 5. The photos posted online appear to be photoshopped and don’t fully reflect the actual condition of the room.

Super Unterkunft, toll eingerichtet.

Nichts!

Great stay. Iris received us with a warm welcome and many tips for things to do, helping us renting scouters and getting around Kenting. We even prolonged the stay 4 more nights because we loved the place so much. Well situated between beaches, just two minutes walk to both of them. Rooms are super comfortable and clean. And again a big thanks to Iris 😊

Lovely place to stay with incredibly lovely women managing it that was always helping us. Super close to the beaches and the nightmarket. We actually ended up extending our stay there.

A great place. Close to the night market. Super clean. Rooftop has a beautiful view both at nights and mornings. Rooms with bathtub. Nice room balcony view.

- location: short walk to the night market and the beach - balcony: perfect to drink a beer while watching the sunset - clean and spacious room

It was a very pleasant and satisfying stay in Bai Sha Tan Cottage! I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel's location is great. It is in between Xiao Wan the small beach (& Qingren tan the Lovers' beach) and Da Wan the main beach. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk to each beach. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful! The receptionist lady always had a big smile and was ready to help us with any questions we had. Her English is excellent. The room was very spacious and clean, neat and modern style model, and the bed was very comfortable, which had an excellent mattress. The bathroom was also clean and nice, the bathtub was clean and comfortable, and the hot water was always nice and hot. The balcony has a set of a small table and two chairs, it was great for having a breakfast there, while looking at the street views and the mountains.

Very spacious room with nice balcony. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and management. Very good wifi. Directly located at the daily night market (every day from 6:30 pm) but still quiet. In walking distance to one beach for swimming and one beach for chilling. Supermarket in the building next door. Would definitely stay at this hotel anytime again.

-

Excellent location, 6 minute walk from the beach, right across from a bus stop, and directly on the main night market street.

Nothing

Perfect location, next to the bus stops , the main street is just 1 min from it so its perfect cause you dont hear the noises from it. The beach is 5min walking from the place. We could check in after 19:00 , the keys were waiting for us at the reception, so was all easy. The room felt comfortable. The reception works at fixed hours. There is no elevator

The location is good: near the bus stops of Kenting Police substation (if you take the Kenting Express) and near to Kenting elementary school (if you take the local bus). It is10 minutes from Xiaowan, next to a running track (perfect for morning jogging). It is near the main street where you find a lot of night markets. The room was very spacious and luminous, you can actually open the window and let some air flow (unlike many other taiwanese hotels).. The staff was very nice and helpful, and spoke good english too! It was very comfortable to stay there, If i go back to kenting i will choose this place.

There is no elevator (we stayed on the 3rd floor) and there is not a toilet in the lobby. The luggage storage is not guarded.

Wonderful staff. Beautiful room.

I think it was more expensive because I happened to be there when a festival was on, seems there regular price is good.

Value for money, quiet and hidden away from the noise on the night market street. A hidden gem that has amazing rooftop views will definitely be staying here again.

Everything was perfect.

Other than being a clean and spacious room with a great bed, bathtub and a balcony - the manager was most helpful in all aspects of our stay. She was very informative and service oriented before we arrived and during the whole stay. Excellent job!

Was a bit of traffic noise from the street, but that is to expect when the location is Kenting night market

Spacious room and friendly staff

close to bus stops and night market Sunset at the rooftop was excellent

Great place to stay

Nice locations close to beach and night market. Room is really clean

Location was great, our room in particular was very quiet away from the busy night market but close enough for convenience. Front desk and staff were super friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more. Just bear in mind the place doesn’t have an elevator so large luggages may be a struggle.

Check in time to be a little sooner, but you can store your luggage which can be helpful.

Comfortable space for staying.

Thanks for all of your help

was clean and good location.

you should make the street to your hotel look better. also 4 floors and no elevator. very small windows so not seaview really.

clean and well located

It may not look like it on the maps, but this is right on one end of the night market. But tucked away so there's not much noise from the street. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would not hesitate to book again. Also liked the foot wash station before going inside.

No lift or elevator for bags. (I didn't really mind, so it didn't factor in my review, but might be an issue for other people.)

Very nice welcome and good service

clean and great location

Very friendly owner, clean enviroment

The hotel has good size rooms that are clean and spacious. Lots of plug points to charge devices. Comfortable bed and pillows. Water pressure very good and hot. Very helpful staff in the front. The location is great just outside the daily night market. The beach is 4 mins walk and the bus stop is opposite to get to all over Kenting and Hengshung.. Cons: No coffee or tea bags in room. The bathroom was mouldy with the tiles badly in need of upgrading. No elevator so you have to carry your luggage to your room. No breakfast provided.
