Beautiful view of Taal Lake and Volcano. Quiet atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious with beautiful presentation.

BREAKFAST SERVING AND TASTE WERE OK. LIKED THE VIEW OF TAAL VOLCANO WHILE HAVING BFAST. SPACIOUS KING ROOM WITH JACUZZI ( DID NOT USE )

DOOR LOCK HARD TO OPEN USING KEY CARD.HAD TO GET ASSISTANCE FROM STAFF TO OPEN THE DOOR EVERY TIME WE HAD TO ENTER......WEAK WIFI SO NO CABLE ...ONLY LOCAL CABLE AVAILABLE THOUGH. PILLOWS WERE SOFT BUT TOO SQUARISH AND FLAT.

Everything is perfect, but the jacuzzi is leaking. Which is tolerable. 😅

There are no staff around at night. They use their phones from time to time, but it's ok. Maybe there should be drinking water provision.

何と言ってもここの1番の売りはタール湖の眺望です。雨季の9月下旬にファミリールームに2泊しましたが、それでも雲が薄くなる数時間は考えられないほどの絶景が楽しめます。部屋は広く、キングサイズのベッドが2台とカウチのリビングセットもあり、リラックスできました。部屋から出られるバルコニーにテーブルと椅子が置いてあるので、そこで絶景を見ながらお茶をすれば、時を忘れられます。他にどこに行く必要もないくらいタガイタイを満喫してできます。タガイタイの街自体は、特に週末はマニラからの観光客が多いせいか、道路が大渋滞を起こします。そのクルマやバイクの排気ガスがひどくて、道路脇の道を20分程度歩いただけでも、喉が痛くなりました。ビライバラ周辺の道を歩いて、スタバやバッグオブビーンズなどのレストランやアラヤモールまで行きたいと思っている人はマスク必携です。アラヤモールまで行きたいのなら、ホテルのスタッフに頼んでタクシーを呼んでもらう方がいいです。200ペソくらいです。タガイタイではinDriveというカーライドアプリが使えると聞いてインストールしてきましたが、ここに来て5日目になりますが、上手くいったことがありません。いつも親切なホテルスタッフに、運賃の確認も含めてタクシーを呼んでもらっています。朝ごはんにはカリカリベーコンのついたアメリカンブレックファーストを注文しました。疲れた胃に適量でありがたかったですが、味は普通です。ランチも一度いただきましたが、こちらはおいしかったです。部屋数が少ない上に、平日には宿泊客がグッと減るので静かでいいです。結婚式パーティーもできるくらいのいい雰囲気と絶景のあるホテルです。親切なスタッフもいて、小規模のホテルを堪能したければオススメです。

I've been coming to the phillipines for several years, have been to a vast variety of hotels from small to big, but as hard as this is to say, this must have been the worse hotel I have stayed at. I'll start with the positive and the overwhelmingly negative aspects of this place. PROS: 1.) The views from the room are incredible. A crystal clear beautiful view of Mt Taal which is breathtaking, from no matter which angle of the facility your at. 2.) The location is very ideal, planting you right in the middle of Tagaytay. Quick and easy access to some of the popular sites like skyranch, to Ayala Mall. Location is nice. CONS: 1.) Rooms are dirty and extemely inadequate. I rented the honeymoon suite for my wife and I, and was shocked to see dirty bed sheets in their honeymoon suite. Along with the landline phone not working at all. The 'jacuzzi' bathtub didn't work at all, along with the water barely getting hot. The air-conditioner was an older Daiken model that sounded like an old motor bike operating. The smell on the outside of the room smelled like an open sewer as well. 2.) Room service seems non existent at this place as well. My wife and I stayed 2 nights, no room cleaning was done at all. Had to go to the front desk just to ask for a roll of toilet paper and two fresh towels. We were the only ones staying there and from someone who comes from a hospitality background, there really is no reasoning for this. 2/5 and that is being extremly generous.

Friendly Staff, and great food.

It felt like a comfy house, with wooden planks, vintage chandeliers, and table lamps.

The Bulalo, it tasted like ramen soup with beef bouillon.

I like the closeness to nature. The view is very good but can be great if the windows outside are clean.

Incredible location with fantastic view on the Lake Taal, very nice and clean facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful + focused on customer's wishes.

Old-school hotel with spacious room and great view of Lake Taal. Wooden floors. Comfortable bed. Centrally located, plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around. Excellent breakfast.

Room was damp due to the weather, could have used a space heater.

The honeymoon room has an exclusive view and the hotel is wonderful quiet with only 8 rooms in total. The location is central with an amazing view. For the price, this is amazing with the unique view, even from the bed. The rooms condition is okay (again to the price) but the bathroom is slightly molded, the windows with the view is very dirty (and difficult to clean, due to 'hanging' over the cliff side) and the door outside have a large gap. But overall no major issue. Only slight negative is that the bar and restaurant is expensive. Two beers for 800 pesos and a very small cup of plain coffee for 95.

The place really has a nice view of Taal Lake. It's sad though that there was a smog threat when we came.

1. We booked via Booking.com for 4 pax for September 21-23 and it said, “Breakfast included”. When we arrived at the hotel on September 21, we were told that although the room is good for 4 people, they will only cover 2 pax for breakfast. We believe that this needs to be explicitly clarified in the platform to prevent this unpleasant experience with the customers. 2. I am a senior citizen and we booked under my name, but upon check out on September 23, I was not given a senior citizen discount even upon demand. The receptionist assigned on that day told us that we are no longer entitled for a senior citizen discount since the price indicated in Booking.com is already fixed, and that our payment goes straight with Booking.com. She said that if the booking was done directly with them, they might still consider. It was unacceptable that though the place is admirable, their staff lacks training for handling customer concerns/complaints.

love the view from our room. overlooking the Taal Lake, and the location is just along the main road. room is also big enough for us and the view is just amazing. it's near everything and has easy access to restaurants and stores. just right across a gas station. also hot water for shower and sink really helps bec weather gets really cold in the evening and early morning.

there is a smell coming out of the bathroom. it might be from the drainage. the AC is not so good, when we checked in, it was a little bit hot outside, so we needed a cold room. but it did not matter any more as the weather changed, it got really cold outside, AC was no longer necessary. also, we have to walk lightly because the wooden floor moves and squeaks

i liked the view, the staff, good food, and the convenience of the said location of the hotel. It was easy to go around Tagaytay and enjoy the different locations without having to drive far.

There were mosquitoes in our room. The tub was also not cleaned properly as the nozzles in it had a lot of stains that turned out to be dirt when we turned the water on.

There were times when we called down to reception by phone, no one answers. However, they respond fine when we go to the reception area.

On our first day, there were 3 kittens trapped in the wall of the room coming from the deck. They were scratching the wall beneath the cabinet producing annoying sound. The maintenance had to catch the kittens beneath the wall inside our room.

The view was exceptional👍🤗🥰 The staff and crew is very friendly and approachable🤗 This is a great hotel and would definitely stay here again🥰

2 things: the location and the view of Taal.

We waited for the reception to seek assistance for breakfast, we already went downstairs and the ground floor but no one was there to assist. When we were finally assisted, the waitress told us the available breakfast and we ordered, she went back to tell us no bacon and ham, so we changed the order, then she came back to inform us that it is not part of the free breakfast, waitress is not fully informed of the menu, worst is we booked for 3 persons including breakfast but we were charged during checkout for the 3rd person. Booking and the hotel doesn't seem to be coordinated at all. Also, the room particularly the towels, dental kit, glass, slippers etc are not ready for 3 persons which we booked.

Service- no drinks service available at night. It was only 8pm on a saturday and the bar is already closed. Breakfast- We had to wait about one hour for a simple breakfast. It didnt taste great. One hour for kids pancake to be made.

The place was really clean. Our room faces Taal and was really exceptional.

I love the hard wood floor for the rustic experience except you could really hear the steps outside.

It was amazing!

The hotel is in a great location. It would have been a great choice for our short stay. However, there was construction on sight and they worked till 2am in the morning, with constant noise.

It was a wonderful stay. Staff were so helpful and accomodating.One comment though, the hotel should add more staff.Sometimes there is no one in the reception to answer calls or to attend to guests' inquiries.

The view is amazing. It's a bit inconvenient that there's only one hotel keycard so you can't leave another card inside the room to keep the fridge from turning off. Breakfast is okay. Just one plated meal, not buffet. The smell of the vicinity is quite bad ( it smells like poop in one of the balconies) so I was not able to take photos in the area. Location is okay, 5 minutes drive from stores, banks.

Me and my group had several rooms for a one night stop over. The rooms were all different but clean. This hotel has a nice view of the lake in their patio also some rooms have private patios of the same view. The staff and security personnel were great. If you have cars I believe I saw parking for their guest or drivers in front. Breakfast was included for all the rooms we had. I would stay here again.
