Bra läge och väldigt bra kök fint att de bjöd på kaffe vilket vi upptäckte när vi skulle åka.

Det var en man som sprang fram och tillbaka och pratade med sig själv i flera timmar vilket kändes oroande.

I was the only one there, no staff no other guests. yet somehow the kitchen was still dirty when i arrived and the bin in the room was overflowing

Automaten fungerade inte, så kunde inte köra något att äta eller dricka.

Nice view from the location.

It was a terrible experience. The hygiëne was horrible. The matress cover, the pillow and the mattress had disgusting stains on them and there was even a bedbug! The room smelled and poorly ventitaled. You're supposed to clean the room yourself or you had to pay extra. Sheets are mandatory, but they have to be rented for 15 euro's! Towels also have to be rented. But the shower facility also had very poor hygiëne. I skipped showering. There is a laundry room but ofcource one has to pay extra and the dryer sounded like it had a busted bearing. For every thing you have to pay extra. Except for the coffee in the front. Hygiëne is very poor and I expect the maintenance as well. There is no busstop and it was an 3,5km uphill walk.

Helt okej för att övernatta med bra kök och bra sängar. Låg lite jobbigt till, en himla massa backar uppför.

Det funkade, men det finns en del att förbättra. Mycket nedgångna & ofräscha köksbord samt klädda sittbänkar vid borden, som var stora mörka fläckar på. Golvet har sett bättre dar. Detta gjorde att vi undvek att sitta & äta där tyvärr. Saknade ett litet allrum, att sitta i. Lite dammigt på ytorna i rummet & ofräsch fönsterpost med döda flugor. Hade varit bra om någon personal kontrollerat hur rummet var städat innan vi checkade in. Sänglamporna satt lite löst & rangligt på väggen. Hade varit bra med en lampa över byrån & väggspegeln på rummet. Lite trångt mellan garderoben & sängen/stolen. Vänsterhängd garderobsdörr med öppningen mot väggen, gjorde det ännu mer osmidigt. Turisthyllan verkade inte uppdaterad med gamla broschyrer. Upplevde att många av fotona inte riktigt överensstämde med det verkliga skicket.

The young lady at the reception was very nice. Spacious dorm. Clean bathrooms and toilets. At a 25 minute walk from the train station and form the city center. Nice kitchen and living room where you can chill out. Close to some nice walks.

Note that restaurants and supermarkets are in the city center. Buy some food before going up there.

Very cozy, clean and nice place. Helpful staff, great location (walking distance to the town and nature both), free coffee tea juice. Above the expectation, great value for money. Definitely wozld recommend. Slept awesome!

I had a great stay here, good and clean facilities, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Due to the low-season I was pretty much alone in the hostel, I guess in summer & winter it’s busier (I stayed middle of october). Very friendly staff! Can 100% recommend.

It’s quite a walk up the hill, especially with luggage. Thankfully there are electric scooters all over Sundsvall that can be rented very cheaply (Was like 1,80€ from the city center / train station to the hostel).

It has beautiful surroundings, a lovely cozy hostel atmosphere and it has a lovely view.

It was too far way up a hill to walk for me. The cab costs from 150 SEK to 250 SEK/one way, so add that to your costs if you don’t like to walk up a steep long road. It easy to walk down to town.

Bra vandrarhem med trevlig karaktär. Enkelt o sporadiskt men välfungerande.

Easy check-in process, keypad code provided by text message on day of arrival. Room was basic but clean and decent for the price. Good shared shower and toilet facilities and washing machine and tumble dryer. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious.

I really admired calmness and fact that the hostel is located not so far from town's centre.

Allt var smidigt o enkelt. Trevligt med kaffe o te. Allt fungerade bra o det var tyst o lugnt

The location was nice, like 25 minutes walking up the hill from central station, pretty close to nature.

Great kitchen, very quiet, super nice staff, free coffee, comfortable and clean rooms. In short: everything you could ask for!

Receptionist/ owner was racist in his attitude and conversation. He asked me to leave immediately but didn't return the room rent paid in advance. He was theeatening

Matias, receptionist rude,unhelpful. But Evia was good.i was given a room next to dog room. I couldn't sleep due to dog disturbance. Beds were of poorest quality. I developed Acute lower backpain.noise on roof due to renovation

Trevligt och enkelt vandrarhem. Levererade enligt förväntan, träffade dock ingen personal under vistelsen utan fick all in-checknings info via sms/mail vilket fungerade bra. Kan rekommenderas i fall du är ute efter en enkelt och billigt boende för någon natt. De gemensamma utrymmen (kök, dusch och toalett) var rena och välstädade.

Fint och rent

Vi använde bara rummet för övernattning då vi var hos vår son dag och kvällstid. Lugnt och skönt boende under natten. Saknade endast toalett på rummet.

Rent och bra, synd att det var svårt att komma in då de inte hade någon användbar ramp för rullator.

Bra service. Trevliga och tillmötesgående ägare Lätt att checka in och hitta dit. Stora fina och rena allmänna utrymmen. Lagomt rum för en övernattning och tydliga instruktioner för hur allt funkar.

Ett bra och billigt alternativ till hotell. Tyst och avsikt men bara 20 min promenad ner på stan. Bra värdar och välordnat.

Prisvärt boende. Rent och fräscht. Stora välstädade gemensamma utrymmen. Det som drar ner poängen är nerlegade sängar i vårt rum.

This is a number 11 in hostel ratings! Best kitchen, tidiness and overall management by the actual owners who are very friendly and helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. The building itself is an historic landmark from World War II.

Stef was very accommodating and provided an outstanding service. Would definitely recommend this place for overnight or longer stays
