A peaceful location on the river. In fact, barring the sound of the AC, there was very little noise to disturb my peace and quite. A surprisingly good selection for breakfast despite the small size of the facility. The hotel in general shows its age a little, but is meticulously cleaned. I liked the location as well. If you like a bit of exercise, you can walk to the Bridge over the River Kwai in one direction and the Commonwealth War Cemetery in the other.

Určitě nejlepší ubytování v Kanchanaburi. Skvělá poloha a výhledy. Moc se mi líbilo vybavení pokoje a úklid. Mile mě také překvapila hotelová restaurace a snídaně, které byly moc dobré. Personál byl moc mily a vstricny.

Jediný co se mi nelibilo bylo male fitness.

Good location for what we needed.

Bath tap had almost no water flow so was impossible to fill the bath. The drain plug in the bath didn’t seal so water drained out faster than it could be filled. Steps to breakfast area were very awkward. Restaurant menu very small with not much variety. Window into passageway from bedroom was weird.

It’s a charming property, we had a river view room with a spa bath, which was beautiful. The bed was large and super comfy, the breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and delicious. The staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

The location is good

The general state of the hotel is poor and needs a good cleaning. Our first room smelt damp and the bedding was damp, we asked the hotel to change the bedding on our first night. The air conditioner was very loud and it was difficult to get sleep. In the morning we asked to be moved to another room because of these problems and they didn’t seem to be surprised. On the second night the room was again damp and the air conditioner was so noisy that we had to turn it off. Three nights at the hotel was enough for us, we would not recommend staying there.

Eigenlijk niets. Alleen de licht straat naar het zwembad mag netter afgewerkt worden.

We hadden een kamer aan het zwembad. Makkelijk instappen. Goede locatie in Kanchanaburi. Hotel heeft een tuin met prachtig uitzicht op de rivier. Goed ontbijt. Badkamer is mooi ontworpen.

Loopband in de gym was stuk, gym zelf heel klein, weinig faciliteiten in gym.

Das Hotel hat einen Parkplatz vor der Tür und liegt direkt am Fluss. Es hat einen großen Swimmingpool.

Der Checkin war nicht herzlich. Bei unseren Gepäckstück wurde uns nicht geholfen. Wir haben alles selbst in die Zimmer gebracht. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer, der Außenbereich sowie das Restaurant waren sehr schmutzig. Alles wird nur oberflächlich am Laufen gehalten.

Lage ist perfekt. Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend. Personal immer sehr freundlich und der Pool ist echt groß und sauber gewesen. Die Lage am See macht es aus.

Hotel war einfach nicht sauber und teilweise heruntergekommen. Viele Sachen sind in die Jahre gekommen . Diese whirlpool im Zimmer habe ich mich nicht getraut zu benutzen, ich hatte hygienische bedenken, es sah nicht sauber aus. Das Zimmer an sich hatte Spinnen weben. Also ich frage mich ob sie überhaupt dort putzen.

Very little English speaking TV, should be able to purchase movies or something else. Glass shower doors needed a clean but this may be because staff didn’t have the time rather than just not doing.

Such a cute hotel facing the river and the room is really huge with such a value for money price, a huge jacuzzi bath and standing shower area, two sink, a separate toilet area, balcony to unwind and lounge area near the entrance to chill! The breakfast buffet is a mix of local & farang cuisine, small selection but sufficient enough to fuel your body for the day ahead. Thank you for the warm hospitality and looking forward to my next visit.

Nothing to complain except some irritating hotel guest smoking weed at the smoking area when the premises is child friendly and plenty of children walking around the property.

Great location. Excellent bathtub. Room was clean and the breakfast was good with a coffee/espresso bar included.

The stairs leading to the pool were very small but not a big deal.

De ligging was uitstekend aan de rivier.

The location was fantastic, walking distance to laundromat, restaurants, 3km approx either direction to Bridge over River Kwai as well as the skywalk. The food from the restaurant was delicious. Staff extremely accommodating.

No wheelchair access down to the restaurant which I wouldn’t have noticed if I hadn’t broken my ankle prior to our stay

Der Pool war schön. Die Grünanlage auf der Terrasse ist auch sehr schön, die Lage am Fluss sehr schön.

Das Hotel hat schon bessere Zeiten erlebt, obwohl insgesamt ein gutes Konzept ist es doch nun etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Man versucht mit Duftkerzen den muffigen Geruch zu vertreiben. Aber vielleicht sollte man mal mit putzen der Fenster und der Flure anfangen. Die Fußböden haben dringend eine Sanierung nötig.

Aamiainen ihan hyvä, kohtuullisen monipuolinen. Tarjolla myös munakasta ja muuta tilauksesta. Uima-allas oli hyvä vaikka sinne pääseminen oli tehty vaikeaksi.

Ilmastointi oli äänekäs ja vaikeasti säädettävä. Henkilökunta korosti paljon mitä maksaa jos joku huoneen tarvike menee rikki tai menee pilalle.

Douche aan het plafond werkt niet omdat de kop compleet is aangetast door kalk, hierdoor met de hand douchen. Weinig plek om iets te hangen. Stopcontacten bij de wasbak zijn lam en gevaarlijk.

The hotel is centrally located in Kanchanaburi and offers several parking options for guests traveling by car. Despite its central location, it’s very quiet and peaceful. The room was clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable and very spacious, and we really enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi as well as the beautiful river view. The buffet breakfast was good, with a wide variety of sweet, savory, and international options. You can also order eggs cooked in different styles, and they’re freshly prepared on the spot—they were absolutely delicious!

The only downside was the air conditioner, which was quite noisy. Even with Eco and Sleep modes enabled and the fan set to the lowest speed, it was still blowing air very strongly, making it difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, I ended up turning it off because of the noise.

Beautiful setting, rooms very clean. The jacuzzi room was just fantastic :) Excellent breakfast buffet. Good location. Bed was perfect, not too soft, not too hard.

One tiny complaint, the cleaners were great, except they did not tell us when they had finished, theyvjust left. So me and my gf were left sitting on the balcony thinking they were still there!

Room was great, views were amazing. Great wildlife in garden and in the river.

Breakfast could have had a bit more choice. Not bad but not great.

Restaurant sloot om 20.00. Natte vloer dat erg glad was. Een rek om je natte zwemkleding op te hangen.persoon niet erg behulpzaam. Ik vroeg ze een taart voor ons te regelen ivm een verjaardag. Dat moesten wij zelf maar doen. Wij hadden wat gasten en konden niet met ze in de achtertuin zitten, maar op onze kamer.

Locatie, parkeren, ontvangst prima, bedden lekker zacht. Mooie kamer, mooi bad.

Kamer heel vochtig en schimmelachtige geur. Alles heel klam en onprettig. Niet lekker geslapen. Dochter werd niet lekker. Hotel oogt mooi maar als je goed kijkt zie je veel gebreken. Trap naar restaurant glad, gevaarlijk. Balkon niet helemaal tot einde "dak". Daardoor "beperkt" zicht. Had er meer van verwacht. Blij dat we maar 1 nacht hadden gereserveerd.

It was an absolute dream to stay the night here after 2 months on rock hard beds!! We wanted to splurge on a treat and staying here met that expectation. The swimming pool was the best, so deep and clean and with a gorgeous view over the river. The bath was perfect too and those soft mattresses 😍

The ambience from the entry through to the room was lovely. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. My poor ability to speak Thai was easily overcome by the excellent grasp of English by the staff. The staff at the Railway Restaurant deserve a special thank you. We stopped by for lunch and they went out of their way to start up the model train and make us feel like welcome visitors instead of customers..... Then when we arrived at 7.20pm (10 minutes before last orders) we were made to feel very welcome again. The food was delicious and made more so because of the staff attitude. 🙏🙏🙏 Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Also catered for both Asian and Western tastes. Very enjoyable..... Loved the spa bath and bubble soap..... The bed took a little getting used to because of the 2 donnas. It made it a bit hot in the middle. 😂😂😂

Okay, I am over 70 years old and have problems with my knees. So having to walk up and down the stairs to reach the restaurant was a problem because there is no hand rail for support. My wife was there to assist me but I really think that a hand rail would be a safer option.
