Reviewed May 10, 2026The place is very well located in Ita Thao. It's a family owned place with lovely people. Even if their English was limited, they were really welcoming. The breakfast was really tastefull with an homemade buffet. I had a a wonderful stay there and can only recommend the place !
I didn't like the shower but it's only because we always have a shower tray in France.

The design was a bit outdated and old. But the rooms were clean. We were pretty much the only ones in the hotel, so it was a bit weird cuz we didn’t understand why more people didn’t come. It’s a nice hotel with very generous staff.

Reviewed Dec 31, 2023- Owner was friendly. Offered a lot of recommendations and assistance and engages in conversations - got lift - balcony at the 6th floor is a nice hangout place to chill. There is swing and seats - location is ideal
- breakfast could have been better, limited - no laundry services, need to head out to old street - air con remote wasn’t working - hot water for shower was inconsistent, may get hotter - hair dryer seems like it will cause a short circuit anytime

Reviewed Jun 30, 2023Very friendly staff/family - they urged us to go put our bags in the room and enjoy dinner before getting cash to pay for the room, doted on our toddler, and even offered us some birthday cake! The rooftop deck was also spectacular - we spent a lot of time up there both nights. Plus all the usual positive features of clean, spacious room, nice bathroom, and delicious breakfast.

Reviewed Feb 13, 2022二月初來，要去日月潭賞櫻花，潭鄉御民宿是不錯的選擇！地點在伊達邵，走路十分就可達纜車撘車處！管家們都很親切，我們還請管家幫忙代收九族的門票，也很熱心協助！因為連續住兩晚，兩天的早餐還不一樣喲！第一天是蔬菜蛋餅、雞塊、醃高麗菜拼盤，第二天是中式清粥小菜（可以吃得很飽！）西式的只有果醬吐司，算是素食友善民宿！頂樓的景觀也看得到日月潭，很舒壓！我想如果包棟，應該大家會在頂樓玩得很開心！ 這次住六人房，唯一缺點是樓上只要開水，會聽到頗大聲的管路聲！

Reviewed Aug 1, 2021老闆娘雖是阿嬤級了，但很熱情，不斷電話關心到民宿的時間，指引路線，還特別留最近的車位；民宿是六年前裝潢的，看得出來有用心維持喔！唯有電梯稍有點異味（不知是不是太潮濕），頂樓露天陽台，能欣賞潭的美景，下雨天就可惜了！房間還能選擇升等，真棒！ 早餐是套餐，但闆娘還是不斷問是否還需要加量，真的太熱情了！

Reviewed Jan 21, 2020Tan Hsiang Yu B&B is a convenient 7-minute walk from the pier, yet is away from the business district crowd. Owners of this family-opearted B&B are friendly and helpful. They are always around to take care of the guests' needs. The beds are comfy, the rooms were clean, and the water was hot. The roof-top terrace has a good view and is a great place to unwind. We will be back again!
