Vali-Joe Travel Lodge

My bedroom was infested with ants. There was no hot water. There was no accessible drinking water on the property. The WiFi only worked periodically.

The Lodge was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Accommodating staff.

The only minor concern was that the water from the faucet was not very clear, but everything else was nice.

The room is comfortable enough so we could rest well.

The location is just crowded a bit a too compact with the locals and other establishments. The water for shower is stinky with rust!!!

Nothing

Awful I’m not fussy and always leave 10 star reviews this was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I followed the signs to check in no one was at the desk I called the number a lady said it’s her day off she’ll send details of who to call later I explained I’ve just arrived she repeated it’s her day off. I eventually found someone checked in and smelt mould immediately after refusing I demanded that something had to be done they send someone to clean the outside but not the filters and they said sold out. I thought it’s just one night but I couldn’t breathe I have asthma, fan didn’t work and I couldn’t use aircon. I was sitting outside which was more comfortable. I asked for another room again because I couldn’t breathe they gave me a new one and the guy said I had to pay extra which I refused. This one was also mouldy and no fan but it was slightly easier to breathe. Tap and shower were a trickle. Manager wouldn’t speak to me just spoke through the staff playing messenger. Book somewhere else I’ve travelled for years and never written a bad review. Staff didn’t care about the issue or apologise.

Personnel gentil, confortable

Odeur salle de bain

Water is really very bad smells, internet was not working

Great for the value

Not so clean

The air conditioning is strong, and the bed is comfortable

The location is not easily accessible and it’s tricky to find the correct address. You also need to ride a tuktuk to go elsewhere. The water has a bad smell and seems like it comes from a deep well, which is not really suitable for bathing. There is no internet connection—the receptionist said it has been down for a week. The place also has a weak network signal, so you need to go outside the room to get a better connection. During my 3-day stay, I wasn’t happy with the experience. Sorry, not sorry!

For the price it's a decent place to stay at. There's a pharmacy, convenience store close by. Somebody's selling lugaw/ arroz caldo in the morning close to the main road. If you walk farther down in the back of the property, there's a shore you can stroll in the morning or sunset.

The bathroom! The shower and toilet is in one stall. If you take a shower the bathroom floor and the toilet seat will be wet. The shower and hot water tap didn't seem to work. Maybe that's why there's a pail and dipper. The location is not in the town proper. We needed to take a tricycle going to the town. It's P100 each way for 2 people, they will not take more than 2.

Le personnel et le manager

The room was clean and the wifi was strong, also it's way quieter than in El Nido Town, but still has some restaurants, tours start at walking distance and it's close to Vanilla beach.

The room had no Windows (only a tiny one in the bathroom, but opening onto the corridor). The AC and fan were super noisy and rusty.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful.

It is accessible to Corong Corong beach.

The access to the hotel is dirty and smelly. Despite asking the staff to fix the toilet door that does not close properly, they have ignored such request.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and always in a good mood. The hotel is right next to the beach where island hopping tours start, and you can also book tours directly at the hotel, which is very convenient. It takes only 5–10 minutes by tricycle to get to El Nido town and costs about 100–150 pesos, so the location is quiet but still very close to everything. We had two rooms next to each other, both with balconies and small tables, which was perfect for sitting outside in the morning with coffee or in the evening. The rooms were clean, everything worked well, and you could ask for cleaning whenever you wanted, even every day. One room had a double bed, a kettle, a fridge, a large sink, toilet and shower. The second room had two single beds; it didn’t have a kettle or fridge, but we think a kettle could be requested if needed (we didn’t need one). The balcony view was of the mountains and partly the sea through palm trees. It was quiet and cozy (there were roosters in the morning, but they didn’t bother us at all). Breakfast could be ordered every day with several options to choose from, both European and Filipino. Overall, the stay was much better than we expected for the price.

Nothing to complain about, we really enjoyed our stay.

None

The surrounding has bad smell,. 1st night was horrible coz the air-conditioned is not getting cooler and has a lot of mosquito inside the room.. and the electricity is off and on.. and wifi is no good.. and last day we didn't get to shower coz of no electricity and no water..

Habitacion muy limpia Aire acondicionado. La ubicación es perfecta. La cama es comoda. Siempre amables.

La fachada por fuera esta muy mal. Por lo demás todo genial.

The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful, close to the beach. Really good value for money

N/A

Nothing, it was close to the beach

Everything the pictures lie I'm 65 two heavy suitcases and they put me in room three stories up a bed and bath very small. No internet as advertised, no tv, no closet. There was no way I could go up and down that staircase. When I went to talk to them there was no one there. Waited 40 min and left. I booked 30 days because of the pictures. False advertising. I couldn't stay one day.

O banheiro

Prompt check in and check out, assisted by Leyni and Beth - they are both friendly Free coffee, shampoo Good water pressure

Uncomfortable bed Hot water control not user-friendly Noisy aircon (outdated style) Room located 3rd floor, steep stairs, not well-lit for safety

location and price

no internet connection the whole stay

Good.

Its good to have something the water which stay in bathroom.

Unbelievable value for money. Sea view, with AC, for €11. Amazing. Antonio even offered me free pizza as he was experimenting with new ideas. This place is a hidden gem. Perfect. Such friendly staff, and they booked me a mini bus to port Barton for 600php. It’s right on the beach within walking distance to scuba diving and great bars and restaurants.

On n’y a passé que 2 nuits mais on a rien à redire, tout était bon ! Calme, bon emplacement, bonne clim

Cheap

Location and comfortability - it’s flooding
