Il fascino della struttura antica purtroppo non basta a compensare la camera molto spartana ma sopratutto il bagno. Minuscolo e molto datato, dal rubinetto del lavandino non usciva acqua calda. La pulizia poteva essere migliore. Colazione con poca scelta senza glutine. Non tornerei.

The rooms are quite basic and a little small, but they have everything you need, including a well-equipped kettle station. The continental breakfast was good, with a varied and plentiful selection. There is also a games room available to all guests, with a pool table, table football, and table tennis. A nice option for spending some time with friends after dinner.
Bathroom was a bit small and some of the equipment in the games room needs maintenance

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Lo staff è stato sempre gentile, disponibile e accogliente. La stanza era pulita e confortevole, la posizione è eccellente e la colazione buona e varia. Un soggiorno piacevole, che consigliamo sicuramente!
L’unica piccola pecca è il menù della cena, che è piuttosto limitato e rimane uguale ogni giorno. Tuttavia, quello che abbiamo mangiato era buono e ben preparato. Per il resto, siamo stati molto soddisfatti del soggiorno e non abbiamo nulla di negativo da segnalare.

La camera per tre persone era una (piccola) camera da due con l'aggiunta di un letto. Bagno funzionale ma molto piccolo.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Die kostenlose Nutzung des Flippers und des kleinen Spielautomaten haben uns sehr gefallen, als wir etwas langsamer in unseren Tag gestartet sind. Das Frühstück war okay und auf Anfrage hat die freundliche blonde Dame uns auch ein Lunchpacket gepackt, weil wir an einem Tag das Frühstück ausfallen lassen mussten.
Es wirkte leider so als sei die Seele aus dem Haus ausgezogen. Im Eingangsbereich wuchs der Löwenzahn sehr hoch, alles voller Grünspan, die Tische nach vier Tagen nicht ein Mal abgewischt. Mehr Unkraut im Beet vor dem haus als Blumen. Das Zimmer selbst war alt und roch nicht gut, trotz des vielen Lüftens klebte der Geruch in den Wänden. Ulvik ist für den Start für Ausflüge gut, viel mehr hat der Ort nicht zu bieten. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir einen anderen Ausgangsort wählen.

Le bed and breakfast est très bien situé et offre une magnifique vue sur le fjord depuis la chambre. Le déjeuner inclus était excellent et parfait pour bien commencer nos journées. Il y avait également beaucoup de stationnement sur place, ce qui était très pratique. Le village est accessible facilement à pied, avec un excellent restaurant à proximité ainsi que l’expérience sauna (Hardanger flytebadstu), que nous avons beaucoup appréciée. Un endroit magnifique et une expérience fantastique! ❤️
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et n’avons pas de commentaire négatif particulier. Tout était très bien!

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Positiv ist der "80er-Jahre Unterhaltungsraum". Mit Tischtennis, Billard und diversen Spielen können ältere Kinder und Jugendliche gut beschäftigt werden. Es gibt sogar einen Super Mario Automaten! Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, aber nicht dem Preis entsprechend.
Für ganz viel Geld können Sie hier den Retro-Charme der 80er Jahre genießen, ohne dabei zu viel Wert auf Annehmlichkeiten der Jetztzeit zu legen. Wenn sich Warmwasser mit Internetzugang abwechseln seien Sie glücklich, denn zeitweise geht beides nicht. Zu viel Zeit verbringen Sie ohnehin nicht am Zimmer, denn die durch die dünnen Wände deutlich wahrnehmbaren Gespräche der Nachbaren interessieren nicht jeden. In der Nacht stört ein stetes Maschinengeräusch den leichten Schlaf. Die Lichter der gegenüber liegenden Busgarage im Zimmer kann man mit dicken Vorhängen verhindern. Zusammenfassend kann man feststellen, dass man für einen günstigeren Preis in der selben Woche in 4* Innenstadt-Cityhotels in Oslo, Kristiansand und Stavanger residieren konnte und genoss dabei jegliche Annehmlichkeiten, welche hier zur Gänze fehlen.

We stayed in the main building in a family room which was clean but would say basic.
Corridors look a bit outdated. View from our room was some kind of small warehouse/parking.

The guesthouse is old and has charme, but unfortunately it is poorly refurbished. In our room an old bathtub served as shower, but there was no shower curtain, after showering the bathroom felt like a swimming pool… The staff was not welcoming at all. Elderly people were struggling carrying their suitcases to the upper floor not a helping hand.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Poder aparcar en el recinto y disponer de variedad en el desayuno. El personal fue atento y amable en todo momento.
La habitación no estaba muy limpia (por ejemplo había telarañas en la luz principal). Las instalaciones eran muy antiguas y el baño no disponía de enchufes. El aislamiento era bastante malo porque podías escuchar perfectamente a los huéspedes de al lado o de arriba, hablando, haciendo uso del baño, etc.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Udsigten fra værelset er fantastisk ud over fjorden. Personalet var virkelig søde og hjælpsomme. Hotellet ligger lige ved vejen ind til byen. Der er en lille strand tæt på Hotellet.

Deceptive description. Paid extra for "balcony wiht river view." The river was a dried up brook,and the balcony was dirty. Wifi was weak, there was tea in the room but no coffee. No TV, no shampoo, no washcloth, no closet, no floormat in bathroom, no safe. No orange juice or bacon at breakfast.... For all of this, the price was as high as a 4 or 5 star hotel in a big city.
