Its location was perfect and the room was spacious and very comfortable. Super value for money. I have no issues in recommending it to anyone.

We were given vouchers for breakfast and a choice of three different restaurants/ cafes to choose from. The message from the business owner said that in these places you could have a coffee, orange juice and a sandwich. This in itself is not a problem.. We didn't try the cafe / restaurant that was next to the B&B as we were only staying two nights. The next closest was half way down the hill and provided an excellent breakfast. However, the one furthest away said the orange juice was not included and the coffee was only small. So we ended up having to pay for the larger coffee ( which to me is a standard size in most cafes in Spain ( we live in Spain) and the orange juice. However, the breakfast was still okay. I would suggest you use the one half way up the hill as it was great

Lovely spacious room with well equipped kitchen area. Very comfortable beds. Location great - overlooking main square with very nice roof terrace.

Nice studio in a nice position.

8 miles to nerja but it took nearly 40 mins to get there, don't think I would have stayed there had i known.

De locatie was bezig met onderhoud. Daardoor hadden ze mij op een andere locatie onder gebracht. Prima geregeld en een fijn verblijf gehad in competa.

The private terrace was lovely in the morning. Even though the room is on the square, it was still not noisy with windows open. The kitchenette was a perfect size and well-appointed for the basics.

The accommodation is in a great location overlooking the town square. We stayed in the rooftop room which was a twin with a kitchenette area with dining room table

Lovely rooftop shared terrace, however there was no shade at all during the heat of the afternoon. Parasols or a sail shade would make all the difference for a cool seating area

Pablo è stato molto gentile, il posto è da favola, con una vista stupenda e proprio sopra la piazza centrale. Terrazzo con vista magnifica! Si vede il mare in lontananza.

Pues tuve q salir a las 4 a.m. por escándalo de jóvenes llamando a la puerta de mi habitación y entradas y salidas de los mismos.

El acceso al pueblo es un poco agobiante de tanta curva, pero el pueblo es muy bonito.

Das kleine Dorf Competa mit Ihrem schönen Scharm

Da der Vermieter telefonisch und per Nachricht längere Zeit nicht erreichbar war, mussten wir trotz bestätigter Buchung über eine Stunde vor dem Check-in warten. Dies war nach einer anstrengenden Reise äusserst unangenehm und unprofessionell. Im Badezimmer sowie an mehreren Wänden befand sich starker Schimmelbefall. Teilweise wurde der Schimmel offensichtlich lediglich übermalt, anstatt fachgerecht entfernt. Dies stellt ein ernsthaftes Gesundheitsrisiko dar. Bereits nach der ersten Nacht hatte ich Atemprobleme und fühlte mich gesundheitlich beeinträchtigt, vermutlich aufgrund des starken Schimmels und der schlechten Luftqualität im Zimmer. Auch die Duschbrause war stark verschimmelt und hygienisch absolut unzumutbar. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr klein, deutlich enger als erwartet und zudem extrem hellhörig. Man hörte nahezu jedes Geräusch aus den Nachbarzimmern und dem Gang, wodurch an erholsamen Schlaf kaum zu denken war. Insgesamt entsprach die Unterkunft weder den Erwartungen noch einem akzeptablen hygienischen Standard. Für den verlangten Preis ist der Zustand der Unterkunft absolut enttäuschend.

Die Apartments sind wirklich mittendrin im Ort und haben eine schöne Sicht und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Die Menschen sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert, es sind mehrere Cafés und Kneipen direkt am Platz. Parken kann man kostenfrei am öffentlichen Parkplatz 100m entfernt. Sehr hübsche Einrichtung.

Wenn man das Zimmer mit Terrasse bucht, sollte man wissen, dass es u.a. eine allgemeine Terrasse für alle direkt vor dem Zimmer ist. Am Wochenende hört man auch viel vom Leben auf dem Hauptplatz, aber die Fenster isolieren sehr gut.

The location is brilliant right in the main Plaza - the best local restaurant is just 3 doors down on the corner breakfast was fresh and their food was lovely, we had two steaks which were on par with the best steaks on our journey thru the Alagrve and Spain. We had the TOP room with a privaye balcony but it is not really private as it ajoins another properties. Never the less there is the apartments shared balcony which is spacious and looks over the Plaza. But bear in mind there are a lot of stairs to climb up to the top room - Travel light!

Cannot dislike anything really it was in such a good spot - the sevice maids were brilliant too

La ubicación es excelente. La habitación Del Sol tiene unas vistas preciosas a la plaza de la iglesia. Tiene muchos restaurantes cerca, fue muy fácil la comunicación con el hotel. Todo estuvo perfectamente explicado y cómodo. La habitación muy limpia, coqueta, bien decorada y cómoda.

Se escucha todo, tanto por los demás alojados como del exterior. Cuando te duchas se moja todo hasta la puerta demás entrada al baño y el suelo del dormitorio, muy caro para las prestaciones que tiene

Prachtige locatie aan centrale plein van Cómpeta. Goede bedden, prettige douche.

Jammer dat de incheckprocedure online moest. Rolgordijn voor het centrale raam van de kamer was zeer onpraktisch in het gebruik. Koffiezetapparaat was kapot. Ontbijt was niet in hotel zelf, maar met een voucher te besteden in een restaurant dichtbij; dit kon pas vanaf 9.00 uur, terwijl de wandeldag dan al lang begonnen is. We moesten dus naar een bakker toe om ontbijt te halen. Geef dan geen ontbijt bij het verblijf en laat iedereen het zelf uitzoeken!

Mooi centraal gelegen aan het plein in Competa. Ontbijten kan bij drie restaurantjes (2 aan het plein). De kamer Cielo was ruim en had uitzicht op het plein. Je hebt een eigen dakterras maar toen wij er waren regende het. Er is een airco en een kacheltje om op te warmen. We hadden een probleem met een knellende voordeur maar werden snel geholpen: soms moet je even hard aan de deur trekken schijnbaar.

The double glazed windows need some attention - they definitely do not provide any sound proofing! The toilet also needs attention as it kept running water after a flush

- Ubicación (en la plaza principal del pueblo). - Vistas desde el balconcito y la terraza de la azotea. - A pesar de que no te atiende nadie en persona, te envían información detallada de todos los pormenores a través de WhatsApp. - La cama es cómoda.

- La habitación no estaba lista a la hora que nos informaron para hacer el check-in (aunque pudimos dejar las maletas). - La calefacción de la habitación no funcionaba. - La almohada es un poco baja y dura. Puse una toalla debajo, pero aun así, desperté con molestias en las cervicales. - Para el desayuno te dejan unos tiques que se pueden utilizar en varios bares cercanos. El problema es que fuimos a uno de ellos (Bar Restaurante Perico) e informamos que veníamos del alojamiento Salamandra Plaza. El camarero (con gafas) dijo: "¡Qué harto estoy de Carlos!". Le pregunté si había algún problema, me dijo que no y nos atendió, aunque de mal agrado. Se podría haber ahorrado el comentario y haber sido un poco más amable, no nos interesa si entre ellos tienen alguna diferencia...

Lovely location for the views. Very festive with all of the lights and the church opposite. Good places to eat within easy walking distance. Room was a very good size, comfortable beds, very good bathroom and kitchen facilities were very good for a short stay. All very clean and well maintained. The team are great, providing all of the information needed and replying quickly to any queries. Would recommend this place. The roof terrace would be a huge advantage in the summer but it was a bit cold at this time of year but very good space.

Breakfast Tokens to be used in a chouce of three restaurants one was closed , one wss too far down the hill for my partner to get there The choice wasnt good only four items to choose from and one hot drink each These items were arojnd 3/4 euros each and drinks were 1.5 euros so we estimated its yoal cost to be around 10 euro yet we pre paid 15 euros for the two of us One morning we ordered toast and jam and was charged 2.5 euros No yoghurt or fresh fruit or juice So i feel the breakfast wasnt worth the money and i might as well of just spent 15 euros and had what we wanted

Miejsce oddaje atmosferę miasteczka, lokalna społeczność w restauracjach na placu pod oknami i dzwony kościelne to sedno Andaluzji w pigułce. Salamandra Plaza jest miejscem gdzie z tarasu podziwiać można tarasowo ułożone zabudowania, gaje oliwne , góry i piękne zachody. Okolice to wspaniałe miejsce do wędrówek- dużo tras spacerowych i rowerowych. Wąskie uliczki i wyjątkowa zabudowa nadają uroku. Salamandra Plaza oddaje ducha Cómpeta.

Nie jest to jednak miejsce dla osób ze słabą kondycją, podejście z parkingu wymagające :)

Het zit heel centraal midden in het dorp aan gezellig plein.

Het is wel wat rumoerig maar als je de ramen dicht doet heb je weinig last. Kamer en douche zijn erg klein.

The room was spacious, bright, and beautifully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We especially appreciated the little kitchen and our own private terrace — a perfect spot to relax in the evenings or soak up the sun during the day. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of town, offering stunning views of the church, the mountains, and even the sea. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat with the charm of the town just steps away.
