A-ROSA Hotel Thurnher's Alpenhof

Der Spa war leider viel zu klein und überhaupt nicht erholsam. Das Hotel ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen trotz Renovierung. Die Zimmer sind sehr sehr klein. Service beim Frühstück war Katastrophe. Man musste ewig warten um überhaupt mal einen Kaffee bestellen zu können und dann ewig warten bis dieser kam. Buffet wurde nicht neu aufgefüllt. Preisleistung stimmt hier leider garnicht und ist auch kein 5 Sterne Standard.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Gesamtpaket hat gestimmt: Wellnessbereich top, Empfang durch die Mitarbeiter bei Ankunft sehr herzlich.

Die Zimmer sind gemütlich (Betten top) und sauber, aber insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Deshalb Preis-Leistungsverhältnis eher mittelmäßig. Zimmer zur Straße eher laut, Fenster schwierig zu öffnen.

Perfekte Lage, super feine Küche -> exquisit, riesige Auswahl beim Frühstück, alles frisch , Wellness Bereich und Schwimmbad neu und sehr schön

Unser Zimmer 220, sehr klein , uralter Schrank, Schlüssel halten kaum, keine diskrete Beleuchtung am Nachtisch zum Lesen, Beleuchtung insgesamt verbesserungsbedürftig Bad sehr eng, alte Badewanne, WC zwischen Badewanne und Waschbecken eingeklemmt, nicht mal Platz für WC Rollen Halter, wirklich veraltet, nicht konform für heutige Verhältnisse und den bezahlten Preis…

Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet, war für den Zimmerpreis sehr überschaubar.

Das Zimmer mit 23 m2 hatte auf 9 m2 eine Höhe von 140 cm bis 90 cm.

Abendessen war ausgezeichnet. Lage beim Lift ist perfekt

Der Spa-Bereich schöner großer Swimmingpool Sauna geschmackvoll und sauber, Personal sehr sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend

Das Menü Abendessen war optisch 1A klasse, jedoch sehr fad ohne Gewürze, als würde man immer das gleiche essen. Dagegen Nachtisch war immer gut und auch das Frühstücksbuffet reichlich genug Gemüse und Obst für jedermann etwas, das Brot sehr lecker.

Die Lage neben dem Skilift ist perfekt. Das Service ist Top. Alles sehr Sauber und wenn auch wenn es ein älteres Haus ist, ist alles gut erhalten bzw. saniert worden. Reichhaltiges Frühstück.

Im Wellnessbereich ist es zu kalt. Die Pooltemperatur ist sehr niedrig. Wenn ich in Österreich auf Urlaub fahre gehe ich normal davon aus das das Personal zumindest ein bisschen Deutsch kann, das war leider nicht der Fall.

Отличное СПА и бассейн. Вкусные завтраки, правда немного однообразные (можно заказать 4 блюда по меню + небольшой шведский стол) Понравилось что всегда есть свежевыжатые соки, так же есть шампанское, которое как-будто бы специально скрыто в Глубоком ведре под полотенцем, при этом для него нет бокалов рядом (ощущение что его ставят там для галочки, но делают максимально все что бы его никто не пил). Уверен что истинные причины другие, но некоторым гостям может так показаться. Уютный интерьер отеля как в лобби, ресторане, так и в коридорах

Очень холодно в номере! Температура за окном во время моего проживания была -18 градусов. В номере при этом было 18-19 градусов. Номер был с теплыми 2мя отдельными одноместными одеялами, под которыми в свою очередь было жарко. В итоге я простудился и несколько дней катался на лыжах с больным горлом и соплями. SKIROOM содержит шкафчики, в них есть отапливаемые штыри для ботинок, но вентиляция с улицы настолько мощная что утром одеваешь холодный ботинок и еще 30 минут греешь его своей ногой. В отеле отсутствует секьюрити, в один вечер в баре были 2 достаточно пьяных гостя, не проживающих в отеле, они громко разговаривали и вели себя вызывающе, один далее просто уснул на диване, откинув голову назад. Разбиралась с ними молодая девушка бармен и никто не пришел ей на помощь, выглядело это ужасно.

Wonderful hotel. Very comfortable and fabulous swimming pool and spa. The staff were all incredibly friendly and nothing was too much for them. We will return!!

The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of two ski lifts. The welcome was very warm - the entire staff is generally very friendly and helpful. On departure, I even received an ice pack for my injured hand. The pool is big enough to swim in and the wellness area is very pleasant. The bar area is spacious and tastefully decorated. At breakfast there is a buffet and also a menu from which you can choose egg dishes, for example. The evening menu offers a choice of 3 main courses. The minibar in the room (mineral water, soft drinks) and coffee are included in the room rate.

After a stay at A-Rosa Kitzbühl several years ago, expectations were too high. The food couldn't keep up. But the bed/room was particularly bad! The first night was a horror, as we (friends and not a couple) didn't get the twin room we had asked for, nor a normal double bed (ours was max. 1,60 m). The next day we complained to the manager, who first showed us a junior suite for which we would have had to pay an extra EUR 250 per night (!) and then one for EUR 50. We then had the sofa prepared in our very small room and solved the problem that way. The manager said that we shouldn't have booked via booking.com. After our second night we were told by a restaurant employee that there were only 13 guests in the house, and on our last night there were only 5. It is very disappointing that we were not offered a room of the same category with a larger bed. We are convinced that the room 445, measuring approx. 3 x 9 metres (a large part of it is actually unusable due to the sloping roof), is the worst room in the entire hotel and an extremely narrow passageway (in the dark to the toilet) is not only unpleasant but also dangerous and in no way in keeping with the hotel's categorisation. The staff were lovely. Very friendly and helpful. The spa was excellent. The food was delicious. We really enjoyed the variety that went into the evening dinners (an Austrian themed night with live music, a fondue night etc).

We found the bed a little uncomfortable. Our shower was unusable without flooding the bathroom floor due where it was mounted in the bath. This didn’t really matter to us, as we just ran baths or used the spa instead.

The location of the hotel was amazing. It was a short walk to all the surface lifts in Zurs. We had a great view from our room. The spa, the breakfast and the staff were outstanding. The breakfast provided a great variety to start our mornign off correctly.

The shower/bath was too small for us to use. When used it turned the entire bathroom into a wet room.

We loved this place—the rooms were great, but especially the staff made our stay wonderful. The hotel manager takes care of everything; he is kind, attentive, and truly goes out of his way to make sure every guest is happy.

Right on the slopes , very clean, amazing breakfast , friendly staff, everyone was charming and the manager was friendly and made sure that your stay was out of this world. I had a special birthday cake delivered to my room because they find out it was my birthday, Austrian welcome at its best.

Service level was sub standard for a five star hotel. Not enough staff. It appeared that the hotel was being managed on cost efficiency. Not what I would expect from a 5 star hotel.

The rooms were lovely, and the location was fabulous.

The service was poor. Our bathroom had no shampoo or soap. Our room was not cleaned. The maid yelled at us when we complained. We ordered a bottle of wine that they tried to charge more than twice for. Be careful for bait and switch.

This is a truly exceptional hotel with cossets its guests like family. The hotel offers wonderful service and successfully blends a dignified old-world sense of class with modern innovation and quirky characterful charm. The owner and her team run a very well-tuned operation, are truly charming and always go a little above and beyond what is required. The food, be it the wonderful breakfast buffet or set dinner menu is fabulous and guests are made to feel both at home and very special. As I had a birthday at the hotel, they also surprised me with a little, elegant celebration. The spa area is lovely and treatments exceptionally good. Plus we enjoyed a couple of days with their ski instructor, Roman, in a group with other hotel guests. We had great fun and learnt a lot.

We enjoyed every moment we spent at Thurner's Alpenhof and plan to return as soon as we can.

Chaos beim Frühstück. Wird gesetzt oder ist freie Platzwahl? Wird serviert oder ist Selbstbedienung? Spricht das Personal Deutsch oder Englisch? Die eine arme Frau bei Schinken, Wurst und Eierspeisen ist völlig überfordert.

A wonderful travel experience. Exceptional service sets this family-run hotel apart from others in its class. The rooms are well apportioned and comfortable, and there is easy access to Zürs slopes. Amazing breakfast!
