Das Zimmer war sehr groß, geräumig und sauber so wie auch das Badezimmer. Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Klima hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr ruhig und angenehm. Wir wurden sehr herzlich mit Tee empfangen und haben uns äußerst wohl gefühlt. Der Gastgeber hat uns auch extra schon um 6:30 ein leckeres Frühstück zubereitet, dass wir vor dem Heimflug noch etwas essen konnten. Er hat auch das Taxi für uns organisiert und uns mit den Koffern bis dorthin begleitet. Die Lage war ebenfalls top, etwas ruhiger aber alles fußläufig erreichbar.

Das Wasser in der Dusche braucht lange zum abfließen.

The room was great, super comfortable, clean and spacious with a nice en-suite bathroom. The facilities were quiet and peaceful, with a comfortable temperature. The provided breakfast was great, large portions of a variety of local food and drinks.

The location was difficult to find, down side streets off the main road with an anonymous door and minimal signage that I struggled to find when I arrived. This could likely be mitigated by calling when nearby for assistance.

Everything was wonderful. The riad is beautiful, cozy and very well maintained. The highlight was definitely the host, who was extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. He made me feel right at home and took care of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. I really appreciated his hospitality and would happily stay here again.

The location itself is great and being in the Medina is a plus. However, it can be a little tricky to reach, especially from the main square or city centre, as you sometimes have to take a slightly indirect route.

Muy contentos por haber pasado tres noches en este Riad. Habitación muy limpia, cama muy cómoda y un desayuno muy completo y rico. Queremos destacar sobre todo la atención del personal y en especial de Jamal, un hombre realmente agradable, servicial y muy atento en que estés bien y no te falte de nada.

The property was located exactly where I want it to be in old town. When I look for a place to stay I have a three-point criteria that I allowed1. Is it clean? 2. Is it air condition? 3. Did I feel safe? All three of my must have were met. Thank you you too.Jame and his day of for being an exceptional host.

The plumbing system has a little challenge when it comes to taking showers. While I had both hot and cold water regulate the temperature during the shower or at times challenging. However, if you decide to stay in old town and not outside the gates where you will find the four and five star hotels here. I would recommend this three star. Riad.

I enjoyed every minute here! The rooms are very quiet and cool at night. Worth trying the breakfast! I always looked forward to it from the night before ☺️ The host is very attentive and available. Thanks to all Riad Abjaou staff, I felt at home 🫶🏻

La habitación estaba muy bien, nos cambiaron de habitación la última noche por una obra que tuvieron que hacer y la verdad que la segunda habitación estuvo mucho mejor, desde la primera se escuchaba mucho ruido de calle hasta las tantas de la noche y la ducha no funcionaba muy bien, el agua no bajaba por el desagüe. Por lo demás estaba todo muy limpio, cama muy cómoda y con aire acondicionado, que es fundamental en verano en Marrakech! Jamal es super apañado, siempre muy atento, siempre se acomoda a las necesidades de los huéspedes. Volvería sin duda!

Solo el detalle de la ducha, como comentaba antes y el ruido de la calle en la primera habitación, aunque eso no es culpa del hotel.

Très beau Riad, j'ai beaucoup aimé le quartier qui est un quartier d'habitation avant tout. La chambre était très propre. L'hospitalité de Jamel a été incroyable. Il m'a réservé un taxi pour l'aéroport à ma demande, m'a accompagné jusqu'au taxi pour s'assurer que tout aille bien. Il est d'une très grande gentillesse et serviabilité !

2x kakkerlakken tegengekomen in de riad. Haarrest in en op de douche.. Alles was betaald via booking en alsnog moest ik ter plaatse 25 dirham betalen als extra service. Veel is dat niet maar toch moeten ze altijd wat extra verdienen aan toeristen en dat neem de charme weg helaas.

This place is a hidden Gem! I was welcomed like family, the staff, the owners, the location and the price! When you arrive you are welcomed with tea, friendly faces and they will accommodate any request for you. The room was nice and clean, AC worked great, nothing to fault and breakfast was fantastic! The location was convenient to go to the main square; just 20 minutes walk. Fatima the cook made delicious Paratha and Tagine . The room size was good and the bed was very comfy. Special mention for Jamal. He was an exceptional host. Stayed up and arranged our dinner on our late arrival. Jamal made us feel like as if we were visiting relatives.

The staff were super friendly. Jamal was a lovely guy who was really helpful and kind, making me feel very welcome inviting me for a tea. I quite enjoyed the everyday breakfast, even though is the same, it is very substantial. The place itself is well decorated and the room are very spacious. I will definitely come again with my family in the near future!.

The location of the hotel is a bit confusing since we have to go through alleys and the location provided in Booking.com isn't accurate. Had to contact the hotel to get the exact location. Also, one of my pillows didn't have a pillow case and could see it was a bit yellow but since I was solo travelling that didn't bother me as I had another bed with pillows in the room to sleep on.

No hay acceso en coche hasta la puerta, hay que callejear y no me sentí segura a la llegada puesto que el taxista nos dejó en la entrada de un callejón y ahí ya empezaron a avasallarnos, pidiendo dinero, sin parar de perseguirnos ofreciéndonos guiarnos a cambio de dinero. No me sentí nada cómoda en ese momento.

Absolutely amazing customer service, they went above and beyond for me as I had some struggle getting there in the middle of the night and up until my departure they looked after me like nowhere else I have experienced. Amazing breakfast served early and prepared with care. I was just really touched by their kindness and ability to make you feel welcome and at ease no matter what. Would recommend to anyone.

Flawless. King Jamil is a gem, dude went out at 2am to get me a drink because I was dehydrated from a long journey. For all those people complaining about it being in a bad location, it’s 10mins from the city gates and entrance to the markets, have you never walked in your life? It’s also perfectly safe area!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. My suitcase was damaged by the airline, and the hotel manager, Mr. Jamal, went out of his way to help me get it fixed. I truly appreciated his kindness and professionalism. The hotel's breakfast is normally served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Since I usually woke up around 11:30 AM, I mentioned this to the staff, and they kindly made arrangements to keep some breakfast for me. This thoughtful gesture meant a lot and showed how much they care about their guests. Their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile made my stay even more enjoyable.

The staff were very friendly and polite, and they were always happy to help with any specific needs I had. They arranged everything I asked for the next morning, which I really appreciated. The hotel was also very good value for money, and the air conditioning worked really well.

De gastvrijheid van Jamal is geweldig. Ligging vond ik ook top. Zou hier zeker weer overnachten als ik naar Marrakech kom.

O acolhimento do anfitrião foi fantástico. Atendeu plenamente às minhas aflições. Entre outras, providenciou um café da manhã para mim antes do horário regular; arranjou um apoio para mala no quarto. Isso não tem preço! O café da manhã atendeu bem. Faltam as frutas que aparecem nas fotos, mas é tudo fresquinho e bem feito. Ambiente familiar e acolhedor! Retornando a Marrakech, me hospedaria lá novamente.

As instalações / quartos precisam urgente de manutenção. Existem descompassos entre as fotos do Booking e o que a gente encontra. O primeiro quarto em que fui colocada jamais poderia ser liberado no estado em que se encontra! No meu caso, o anfitrião me trocou de quarto!

This is a small adequate dar in a quiet alleyway of the medina. Jamal and the other staff Fatima, Saida are all kind and friendly. Jamal managed to get me a taxi to the airport even though it was Eid yesterday. Plenty of very hot water in the shower, a comfy and soft bed, efficient air con. The breakfast is substantial and an evening meal of korfta tajine with rice, potatoes and salad was excellent.

The absence of fresh fruit, dates, olives and amlou at breakfast.

We couldn't have stayed in a better Riad than this one! Very comfortable, clean, with the best food and tea in Marrakech. More important than all of that were the people, our dear Jamal, who does everything, absolutely everything, to please and help us, an exceptional person, our Moroccan friend for life! Jamal, you're the greatest! To the ladies who always served us with a smile on their faces, they are incredibly kind and friendly. And thanks to Mr. Ezdi, who is also very kind. When we return to Marrakech, we have to stay at Riad Abjaou. You are fantastic!

Le riad était introuvable et ne correspondait pas aux photos.arrives très tard nous pensions trouver un restaurant sur place comme indiqué sur le site.or non il a fallu aller dans la médina ..nous avons eu deux chambres avec un minimum de prestations prise électrique arrachée .deux serviettes de toilette d'un autre temps . Taies d'oreillers déchirées ..une minuscule savonnette..douche sans rideau.. la chambre n'a pas été faite et il a fallu demander du papier toilette et un sèche cheveux alors qu'il est dit un par chambre.. Petit déjeuner sans beurre ni fruits ni yaourt. Prix injustifié par rapport a d'autres riads et taxe demandée a l' arrivée..au moment de partir on réalise qu'il y a un autre riad a côté et comme j'en fais la remarque on me dit que je ne l'ai pas demandé..(alors qu'avons nous loue)?? Une terrasse annoncée .. où est elle??? un spa ?? Impossible de discuter Monsieur veut avoir raison .. Alors juste attention ..nous avons l'habitude de beaucoup voyager et nous ne sommes pas exigeants.. Mais ce riad ne correspond pas aux photos...

Emplacement dans un quartier plus éloigné que ce que peut le laisser penser la carte (obligé de contourner par le sud) Qualité déplorable des finitions : trous apparents dans les murs, porte serviette mal attaché et branlant, tuyauterie de douche qui fuit, portes de meuble de salle de bain qui ne ferment pas, portes de chambres dont le verrouillage ne résisterait pas à quelqu'un poussant un peu fort, lampes pas droites et éclairant peu... Manque d'attention aux prestations de base : pas de savon dans la douche, pas de papier toilette aux toilettes Au global, mauvais rapport qualité prix (mais c'est j'ai l'impression un constat général a Marrakech). J'aurais eu une meilleure chambre a ce prix là en France alors que la vie y est normalement bien plus chère.

Comme la première fois, le personnel et le petit déjeuner (je précise que j'avais réservé les trois nuits et la nuit au même moment, raison pour laquelle je suis revenu malgré ma déception)

Autre chambre, la suite, la "meilleure" qui avait pour le coup un peu moins de trous visibles dans les murs mais reprends sinon globalement les défauts de ma première visite, a un ajout majeur par 39 degrés a l'ombre en extérieur (mi mai) : la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas correctement, sans doute par manque d'entretien, et fuyait de l'eau en continue dès l'allumage. Je l'ai signalé au propriétaire qui m'a indiqué qu'il regarderait mais que globalement ce n'était pas la peine de mettre la clim car c'était bon pour le sommeil (non, c'est de dormir au frais qui est bon pour le sommeil).

Not far from the markets. Short walk to Bahia palace. It was my 5th time stay in Marrakesh and I was in different Riads / hotels every visit.

Breakfast was not like in the pictures. We got 1x flat egg per 2 people 🤣 we did not get any fruits or even olives. I had to ask to cook Baghrir pancakes as there were not given to us. Not even cheap yoghurts. Coffee was tasteless - not Brewed. You get - some jam, Msemen - square pancakes, bread, look alike honey. This Riad provided the very basic breakfast, if your breakfast is important to you go elsewhere. Room - very very dusty, need some updates and reparation. Clean towels and bed sheets. At the end of our stay Riad owner asked us to give good review and 10 stars .

This lovely traditional Riad was my home from home. As this was my first time in Morocco the warm welcome from Jamael, greeted with a nice pot of mint tea, and an good explanation of where everything is in the area, (which is very close to the markets, but still in a quiet area), was perfect. Jamael even took the time to walk me to the main street, so I could find my way around. During my entire stay I was treated incredibly well and taken care of, as a solo female traveller this made my holiday very special. Nothing was too much trouble, all the help and advice I wanted was there. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. The sun terrace is peaceful and pretty, the lounge and breakfast area is lovely and homely, sitting around the indoor pool with the glass roof above. The breakfast is really good, freshly made traditional Moroccan pancakes, bread, eggs, honey, jam, cheese, coffee, fresh orange juice, and the traditional mint tea, the best mint I tasted during my holiday, all served with a lovely warm morning welcome to start your day. I will be returning to Marrakech, and definitely will be staying at Riad Abjaou again, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Jamal è stato gentilissimo e molto accogliente, ci ha fatti sentire a casa dal primo minuto! Fatima, invece, ci ha preparato colazioni squisite. Uno staff davvero gradevole e sempre con il sorriso. In più la posizione è ottima, tranquilla e vicina alla Medina.

All'interno della camera c'era molta umidità ma per fortuna andava via in fretta grazie al climatizzatore.

The Riad has an authentic, rustic, family feel about it and the people looking after you are attentive, warm and welcoming. Fatima and Jamel were especially kind and made me feel very welcome with nothing being too much trouble. I arrived late in the evening on check in after a long trip and Jamel took it on himself to go to the local shop to buy me water which I found especially hospitable. Jamals local connections and knowledge were a great help in settling me in and as a solo traveler gave me the confidence to explore safely. He was also happy to book transfers, taxis and excursions on request. I will certainly be happy to return
