Grand Hôtel d’Orange, BW Signature Collection

Das Hotel war Ausgangspunkt für unsere Rad-Rundreise durch die Provence. Daher immer wichtig: Wir konnten unsere Räder sicher unterstellen! Die Zimmer waren gut und ausreichend für eine Nacht. Das Frühstücksbuffet lies keine Wünsche offen. Im Vergleich mit den anderen Übernachtungen im Anschluss sogar sehr positiv. Seife, Duschgel, Shampoo und Bodylotion von L'Occitane - ein Genuss. Ich würde auf jeden Fall noch einmal wieder hierhinkommen, sollte es mich nach Orange verschlagen.

Vackert inrett hotell mitt i centrala delen av Orange! Jättefint rum med liten terrass! Härligt stor king-size säng, smart bäddad med bara lakan för varma nätter och härligt täcke med påslakan. God mat i restaurangen!

Dejligt værelse med stor terrasse. Træet på terrassen trænger til at blive renoveret og der burde være et ekstra trin fra værelset ud på terrassen, da afstanden op til udgang ligger noget højere oppe. Personalet i receptionen var vældig kompetent og flinke. Morgenmad er fin, lidt i den dyre ende. Der opkræves et energi tillæg som hotels.com ikke har oplyst. Hotellet ligger godt i bymidten, hvilket også betyder parkering ikke er muligt, der er dog mulighed for at køre ind og læsse bagage af.

Väldigt trevligt hotell..mycket bra personal...frukosten kunde varit bättre förr att matcha resten..den var helt okej men inte lyxig som resten av hotellet.

J'ai été satisfait par l'hôtel. Par contre je trouve lamentable que l'hôtel m'ai facturé en double la chambre et que l'on me demande de me débrouiller du problème avec le site de réservation.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hotel situé en plein centre près du théâtre antique. Grande chambre avec terrasse. Lit très confortable et très large. Super salle de douche. Buffet de PDJ copieux

Excellent hotel with friendly welcome and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed and reasonably spacious airy room. Well located in old part of the city with a short walk to the main sights and restaurants.

A lovely, well executed, homely hotel. A very comfortable and spacious room with some cool furniture and a big dressing area that made me wish I was staying longer! The bathroom was a good size with a big shower and a bath, the fittings are dated, but all function and everything was mostly spotless. Staff were efficient and friendly. I ate in the restaurant, the food was great, I had the fregola, and a glass of local wine. The service was welcoming and lovely. I would definately stay there again.

Quand je suis arrivé, accueil très froid. On me demande une pièce d'identité ! J'avais pré réglé mais on me demande ma CB pour payer les petits déjeuner. Pourtant habitué de l'hôtellerie je n'ai pas aimé cet accueil. Le personnel soufflait....j'avais l'impression de déranger !

un frigo. chambre glaciale salle de bain polaire. chauffage sans réglage car pré programme. vue sur une minuscule cour (2m2) immonde de crasse.

Séjour de rêve en amoureux. Personnel sympathique très attentionné.Je recommande cet hôtel. Un seul petit bémol : des relents nauséabonds dans la salle de bains. A remédier.

J'avais choisi cet hôtel car il se trouvait à 4 minutes du théâtre antique ... Sur ce point-là c'était vraiment très bien !!! Y aller à pied était un plus...le parking à 200m mais ça été on avait des valises à roulettes .. Sinon le personnel y est très sympathique... Je vais être constructive dans mon commentaire pour aider les futurs voyageurs mais également pour aider l'hôtel à progresser 👍☺️ De par mes déplacements, je suis habituée à fréquenter des hôtels 4 étoiles. Celui-ci je trouve est très moyen niveau services équipements... attention, lors de la réservation également certaines chambres sont au 2 ème étage sans ascenseur avec escaliers colimaçon ... à notre arrivée Merci a Richard qui nous a aidé gentillement ..et sinon nous n'avons pas eu de chance un problème avec la porte de la chambre impossible de l'ouvrir du premier coup là dernière nuit une 15 aine de fois avant d'y arriver on a dû réveiller nos pauvres voisins 😂🙈 à notre départ la réceptionniste nous a dit qu'en effet la porte de la chambre était défectueuse et qu'un technicien était passé dans la journée et que c'était sensé être réglé... Avec du recul dès le début j'aurais dû demander une autre chambre ... On plaisantait en se disant que si on était arrivées en porsche on aurait pas eu ces problèmes😂je vais finir par le positif quand même toujours 😊 très bonne situation, personnel agréable et souriant , literie confortable , douche spatieuse, et terrasse pour prendre le petit déj à l'extérieur..

Hotel greatly located, not in great shape, and incovenient room with no lift for our baby and the stroller. Friendly staff, besides the restaurant.

The only thing Grand about this hotel is its superb location in the heart of the old part of Orange. The room was adequate but quite dingy, without much light. It’s an easy walk to the Roman Theatre and a longer walk to the Triumphal Arch. The continental breakfast definitely wasn’t worth €17

Great location close to restaurants and sites. Parking is a little problematic as not at the Hotel, but approx a 3 min drive down some very narrow streets. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location in historic Orange. Everything was walkable. Our parking was safe and convenient. L’Occitaine amenities. Comfortable bed Great stay. We will look for it in our return to France.

Loved Orange the hotel and staff were very good and helpful .

This is a very comfortable hotel but there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms. We stayed in May and were too warm at night. And no black put curtains/blinds. Otherwise, we had a fabulous stay. The location is great, the rooms are spacious. Nice modern shower.

Rummet var beläget två trappor upp men hissen gick bara en våning. Därefter måste vi gå förbi poolen och gå uppför ytterligare en trappa med bagaget. Det var en väldigt obekväm väg. Sängen var skön, kuddarna perfekta och badrummet fint. Men luftkonditioneringen var avstängd av miljöskäl trots att det står på hemsidan att rummen är luftkonditionerade. Sänglamporna var inte avsedda för att läsning, alldeles för svag belysning. En av dagarna fungerade inte frukostserveringen. Mycket tog slut och fylldes inte på utan att vi sagt till. Bartendern var arrogant och otrevlig, men receptionspersonalen var trevlig.

The hotel was just ok. Although it was located in convenient location it had quite a few missteps. Access to the room required an elevator ride one floor and then an exit to the outside, through the pool area and up 2 flights of stairs. Very inconvenient and unexpected. Parking was available for a fee but the logistics for getting into the garage were unnecessarily complicated and stressful.

My wife and I enjoyed all aspects of our four night stay. The staff was very helpful, and the room and hotel excellent! A very nice, clean room with a balcony. Hopefully we will stay here again.

Excellent location in old part of Orange. Walking distance to many of the city sites. Several restaurant options in the area.

Room was big and bed was comfortable, however we were given a room on 3 rd floor with no elevator only circular tower stairs, very odd. The woman at check in was very flustered and didn't mention this to us, did not offer help with luggage up 3 flights of awkward stairs. Luckily my husband and I are in good shape..

By far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The bed was super comfortable, the room was clean, the sheets were fresh and the staff was very helpful! The only thing is that room service didn't come back later when we were asleep so they did not clean the room, even when we phoned the reception.

L’hébergement était très bien situé dans Orange pour pouvoir visiter la ville à pied. La piscine n’est pas très grande mais suffisante pour le nombre de personnes. Le petit déjeuner était simple mais bon, en revanche il manquait du personnel pour remplacer ce qui est vide.

Les chambres de cet hôtel était trés spacieuses, confortables et agréablement décorées. Le petit déjeuner au calme sur la place, sous les arbres était parfait. La salle de bain était très grande et bien fournies en produits de toilette l'Occitane (quel plaisir !). Nous avons aussi apprécié l'accueil que nous a réservé le personnel qui était aux petits soins avec nous. Je recommande vivement le Grand Hôtel d'Orange pour un court passage lors d'un concert au théatre antique ou pour un séjour plus long. Les tarifs sont très honnêtes pour cette qualité de service.

We only stayed one night and didn’t eat dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is easy to walk into town from the hotel. Breakfast was good with plenty of everything. Sorry we didn’t stay longer.

This is a really good property that needs minor adjustments to make it great. The room is large and comfortable, but it needs a couple of extra electric sockets, a larger safe and a laptop space with a small desk and a chair in front of it. The location is perfect. You can't be more central and still be as quiet. Service is excellent and responsive.

Good hotel we’ll located. Staff helpful. However, don’t rely on getting parking. They only have 14 spaces-we had to use street parking. Not all rooms have lift access. Ours was a walk past the pool & climb two flights of windy stairs.

Enjoyed a lovely stay in this hotel, staff very friendly and helpful especially on reception. Rooms were spacious (we had two family suites) and we were given one with a terrace which was lovely. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay. Hotel could use a couple of minor repairs eg some loose tiles in the stairwell and there was a hole in the floor on the terrace but on the whole a very good hotel for the price.

This is a very comfortable and accessible hotel with great, very helpful staff. Orange is a very accessible town for wheelchairs/ scooters. Breakfast was disappointing.

The amazing stuff and the service

The hotel is located just minutes from the amphitheater and arc de triomphe. Shops and restaurants are nearby or you can eat in as the inside restaurant is excellent. The room was spacious and well appointed, staff were friendly and helpful. Great value.

The hotel is in the town centre where you can find many restaurants and shops near it. The hotel room is clean and the staff are nice. There is a swimming pool but I didn't try it because of tight schedule. The hotel is far from Orange station where around 20 mins walk (with luggage) is needed to reach the hotel from the station.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Orange. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room and ensuite were great. Very comfortable. Parking available to which was a great bonus. Would definitely go back

Hotels.com booked me into a hotel that has been put in receivership. I have yet to hear from Hotels.com about their gross error, nor have I received a refund for the reservation I made with the bankrupt hotel through Hotels.com.

The staff was over the top amazing. No matter the request, they accommodated. From the begining of our stay to the end, we felt pampered. The location is great and everywhere in Orange is walkable within just a few minutes. Plenty of restaurants, etc. within walking distance. The rooms are clean and have plenty of room. All in all, we love it!

The gentlemen met us at the door and took care of the car and all what we required

No hot water for 2 consecutive day and they did nothing about it, and not even offer to make up for it

Lovely, elegant hotel near the city center and the Roman amphitheater. We were very comfortable with the room size and the expansive bath. Loved also the L'Occitaine toiletries.

Challenging hotel to drive to in Orange, but that is a property of the streets themselves and not the hotel. Lovely property with attentive staff. Excellent location only 4 minutes walking from the ancient roman theatre.

Excellent location. Can walk to shops, market, historical sites and restaurants.

In the old city centre. Smoking allowed in room - wasn’t expecting that but didn’t smell too strong. Large windows opened onto for plenary of fresh air.

Could not believe how perfect this hotel is in the center of Orange. I was expecting for the price and the "French 4-Star" very little. Quiet, great service, clean, and the deluxe room was huge. Small pool, 2 jacuzzis. Fitness center was tiny but had an elliptical and treadmill. 10 Euro Valet parking. Great find.
