Après la découverte de punaises de lit dans notre chambre, le personnel nous a autorisés à en inspecter une deuxième. Comme malheureusement on en a trouvé également dans la 2e chambre, nous avons fait le choix de quitter l'hôtel. Pour le coup le personnel a compris notre décision et nous a remboursé la réservation.

Présence de punaises de lit dans la 1ère chambre ainsi que dans la deuxième. En espérant que le nécessaire sera fait pour solutionner le problème. Les personnes de l'accueil n'ont pas eu de réactions ou été plus surpris que cela.

The room is spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable and the fan is conveniently placed. Water is free in this hotel which I liked.

The sink was leaking. There is not net in the window so there is chance of mosquitoes getting in.

Het raam in de kamer gaf uit op een raam van de tegenover liggende kamer, er was geen natuurlijk licht in de kamer. Ik vond het heel benauwd. Alsof ik in een gevangenis slaap. Er was ook maar 1 stekker in de kamer. Ik vond het ook vreemd dat er een lichtje brandt op de gang als je in de kamer bent. De tuktukchauffeur van het guesthouse rekent teveel aan en verwacht dat je bij elke stop je portefeuille opentrekt. Ik ben geen wandelende bank!

Good location near a supermarket and close to the river. The room was clean and spacious.

The vent in the toilet didn’t work so the room had to ventilate the room opening the balcony door hence loosing the AC effect. Also the curtains in the room don’t darken the outside light so you wake up early with the sun. I wish they would fix it it will make the room much better.

Chambre borne, on croirait dormir dans un garage. Seul atout, pas cher. Mais n'attendez rien de plus que d'y dormir la nuit.

The reception area was dark and had no life about it

Cheap and cheerful. Room was decent. Bit of a walk from all the food markets etc but only about 10 mins. Looks a bit rough on first arrival as it's just completely open to the street and tucked away down an alleyway but we had no issues at all. Let us keep our bags in the hotel when we had to wait all day for a sleeper and was absolutely no bother, though not too secure

Bag storage was just placing them next to the desk which is open to the street and where staff couldn't see us over it when we arrived multiple times due to the height so i was a little tentative whether anyone would spot someone coming to grab the bags. Id have felt better with a locked room etc but nothing went wrong so cant complain

Good location

Lack of amenities, Air conditioning cost extra for each room despite the hefty cost for a ‘hostel’ and staff were unhelpful and unnattentive to issues. We ended up staying in two rooms when we’d booked four just so we didn’t cook to death in the heat of the rooms. The rooms were stained with god knows what, lights didn’t work. Running water was sporadic at best. Wouldn’t recommend

The noise level of one of the outside AC units was very high in room 103.

Muy buena relación calidad - precio. Cogimos este hotel por el precio porque solo lo necesitábamos por unas horas para poder descansar y tomar una ducha antes de coger un autobús nocturno. Y supero las expectativas. Los empleados de recepción muy simpáticos y amables, nos dejaron hacer el check in antes de hora y facilitaron guardar y devolver el tuk tuk rentado. Habitación amplia. Buena ubicación.

Logement de grandes dimensions ! La chambre était vraiment grande 28m2 je crois La douche était très grande et on avait même un assez grand bureau et pas mal de rangements Ventilation fonctionnel

Une bouilloire est à disposition dans la chambre mais il serait bien peut être de donner quelques sachet de thé après cela reste juste un conseil

The location and the clean and huge room at an absolutely great price.

I took 2 stars off. No 1 for no hot water and No 2 for a very noisy AC outside unit. It was difficult to find deep sleep in room 102.

Grandeur de la chambre et propreté

Climatisation existante dans tout l’établissement mais pas fonctionnelle ! Résultat, deux nuits à plus de 30 degrés. Piscine existante mais non remplie. Pas de papier toilette à mon arrivée. Chambre d’à côté qui a fait le bazar toute la nuit.

I had a very nice stay at Lucky Hostel. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The furnishings were quite simple, but considering the affordable price, it offered excellent value for money. Everything worked well, and I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were always happy to answer questions and help when needed. The hostel is in a good location and offers great value for money. If you are looking for a simple, clean, and friendly place to stay in Battambang, I can definitely recommend it. I would happily stay here again. :)

Sehr schönes Hostel, tolle Menschen kennen gelernt und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Large bed, large room, balcony options available. The shower was decent.

Had to pay for AC, pool had no water, there was no darts as advertised, the billiards was rubbish and missing a ball. The bathroom didn't have enough toilet paper. There were cockroaches around the hotel, although thankfully none in our room.

A fuir !! La chambre n’était pas très propre, on nous a fait payer 10 dollars de plus pour avoir la clim. Le pommeau de douche fuyait dans tous les sens. On s’est réveillé le matin et il y avait un énorme cafard dans la chambre. On a demandé une remise et cela nous a été refusé.

Chambre propre et très spacieuse! De plus, le petit balcon est très agréable. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas, un simple ventilateur sous 40 degrés n'était pas supportable. L'hôtel manque cruellement de vie et de décoration.

Everything is good

Big room. Bed was comfortable, pillows were too soft. The room has a kettle, and A/C which is an additional charge of $5 a day. We booked FAN only, but its impossible to survive the heat of 105°F. So, after one day we had to pay for the AC. The staff are friendly and speak English. There is NO housekeeping unless you ask for it. The location is not bad. Lucky supermarket is 3 minutes walk and the local market is 2 minutes walk. Tuk tuk is close by incase you want to go farther.

There is NO hot water heater in the bathroom. The shower is room temperature. Also there is no separation of the shower and toilet. Bring our own soap. There is no elevator, and can be difficult to carry your luggage up 3 flight of stairs..:(

Camera mare, liniste, am avut apa gratuita si ne au schimbat camera cand am avut o problema. In camera s au strans furnici si miriapozi, am mers la receptie si ne au schimbat imediat camera, dar in cea noua am avut gandaci in baie...🤣

Fereastra nu duce nicaieri si nu se inchide, asa ca nu poti sa aerisești sau sa ai vreo priveliste, stai intr un intuneric total. Baia nu are aerisire si s a strans miros pregnant de umezeala dupa ce faci dus. Noi am avut camera fara AC si a fost foarte dificil sa rezistam.

Très grande chambre, très propre, bonne pression de douche, très grand lit confortable, terrasse appréciable. Attention lors de la réservation, il y a des forfaits chambre ventilateur et chambre clim. Un petit frigo serait un plus et améliorerait la note globale. Attention les marches en montant les étages, elles ont toutes une hauteur irrégulière. Nous avons pu prendre une douche avant de prendre le night bus, moyennant 1$ pour une serviette. Kay propose des tours en tuktuk à tarifs raisonnable, faites le bat sunset avec lui, le coin est canon! La climatisation fonctionnait bien

The hotel itself is feeling a little old in places and I didn't find the staff overly welcoming.

There was a tuktuk driver in the reception everyday (not sure if he worked there) but he was very pushy with tours and made you feel awful by saying no if you already had other plans. The duvet was quite small for x2 people too.

La stanza era pulita e molto curata nell'insieme. Forse la migliore finora in Cambogia. Abbiamo prenotato una stanza con ventilatore ma era troppo caldo e, pagando un supplemento, cambiato con una con aria condizionata. In entrambi i casi le stanze avevano le stesse caratteristiche, spaziose e accoglienti.

Manca un bar interno o qualcosa che dia almeno un servizio minimo. Nei dintorni si può comunque trovare tutto.

Man skal betale for at få fjernbetjeningen til aircondition (26 USD for to nætter), det bliver man først oplyst omkring ved ankomst… super dårlig oplevelse når der er 37 grader. Selve hostellet er ikke indrettet særlig fedt, trapperne er skrækkelige at gå på, med forskellige højder på hvert trin..

No aircon and the room was HUMID!! some ants. The buildings itself was so odd. There’s a pool table with no balls, an empty swimming pool and just so much empty space

Room was old, with no natural light (there was a window but it looked into the hallway). Plaster peeling and stains on the wall and in the bathroom area.

Hôtel très correct et bien placé pour visiter Battambang. Très grande chambre et prix abordable.

Impossible d’aérer si pas de fenêtres sur extérieur, il fait vite très chaud.

Attention à bien vérifier que le prix de la climatisation est bien compris dedans. On était quatre et on avait deux chambres, on a dû payer 10 dollars en plus par jour pour avoir la climatisation qui était nécessaire. Vérifier les options de réservation

The location was good and we got picked up by a tuktuk from the bus for free. We also arranged a tour via the tuk tuk driver which was fantastic. We had a private room and it was clean.

Where we were disappointed was that we were not told at check in or any point that the AC was paid for, and were surprised at 1am when they turned it off. AC is an extra $5usd per night. Factoring in the additional cost of AC into the night price, we felt there were better value for money options in the area, as we did get a different accomodation for our second night despite prepaying for two at the hostel. The bed was also very firm and the duvet was quite rough and not comfortable. Other than not letting us know about the AC at check in, the staff was welcoming and nice.
