While not in the city center, Hinna Paradise is central enough to get there quickly by car or bike - Walking would be a somewhat bigger undertaking.

These are very minor things, but: - The small road leading from the main road to the house is quite narrow and winding, takes a little getting used to. - The parking space is oddly shaped, so when all guests are in, one has to park with a little consideration to make the most of if so nobody gets boxed in.

The property was over 2 floors and was so spacious. There was six of us but we could have got lost there was so much room. The location and parking facilities are just perfect.The photos really don’t do this property justice.

Bell'appartamento su due livelli, spazioso e luminoso. Proprietario presente al momento del check-in, cosa che noi preferiamo. Posizione molto tranquilla in una zona residenziale appena fuori città.

Avremmo preferito un prezzo che comprendesse già le lenzuola e gli asciugamani e soprattutto le puliizie finali. Non mi piace l'idea che queste siano fatte magari in fretta da un turista prima di partire. L'appartamento era comunque molto pulito

Goede ontvangst. Rustige buurt. Parkeren op de eigendom. 2 aparte slaapkamers. Zachte bedden. Zeer proper en ruim. Goede wifi. Als je eigen lakens mee hebt, moet je er niet voor bijbetalen en als je zelf kuist op 't einde, dan spaar je die kosten ook uit.

We waren vergeten afspreken wat we bij vertrek moesten doen en konden op dat moment de eigenaar niet meer bereiken.

Im Vergleich zu den anderen auf unserer Reise genutzten Ferienwohnungen kamen hier noch Zusatzkosten für Bettwäsche und Handtücher (15 Euro pro Person) sowie Reinigung (40 Euro) hinzu. Damit war die Wohnung vergleichsweise teuer. Die Schlafzimmer waren klein und spartanisch eingerichtet. Einmal Bett, einmal Bett und Schrank. In der Küche gab es außer Besteck, Geschirr und Gläsern nichts, was andere Ferienwohnungen bieten, wie zum Beispiel Frischhaltefolie, Salz, Kaffeefilter etc. Jeder Gast muss dies also selbst mitbringen. So noch nie erlebt. Besonders schräg war der vierte Stuhl am Esstisch - zusätzlich zu drei Holzstühlen war es ein aus kaputten Lederstreifen geflochtener abgeranzter Stuhl, der absolut auf den Sperrmüll gehört. Zudem ist die Wohnung im Souterrain und das Haus sehr hellhörig. Man hört jeden Stuhl, der oben verschoben wird und die Gespräche.

Unfortunately there are many things that didn't go well with our stay. In the first place, the apartment was in a basement. As you can expect the rooms are therefore quite dark and humid. This is not made clear in the announcement, and this is quite an important detail to make clear. Additionally some of the curtains where not working and full of holes. There was a treadmill stored in the apartment. It looked as they were using these rooms as basement storage, and that is also not a nice thing to do, to rent a basement storage as an apartment. There were also the power outlets close to this machine, they were falling apart from the wall, it looked like a serious hazard. Regarding the host, I find it ridiculous that we were granted only one set of keys for the apartment, specially considering it was quite clear there were two adults checking in. The communication was... not good. We were talking beforehand regarding our arrival, and when we went into the location we found out that the normal roads to reach the place were blocked due to construction and the public transportation (bus) didn't allow us to get there as expected, we had to do a long round around up the hills while still carrying our luggage, it would have been considerate to at least mention this during all the communications. Finally there is a complaint that is both against the actual lodging and against booking.com itself: The allowed behavior to hide in extra costs (like cost for linen and cleaning) deep in the description or conditions is distorting and exploitative. It makes it difficult to compare prices with other more honest publications where the whole cost is included in the search results and it feels a little bit like a scam. In this regard I also find it inadequate that having agreed to pay for linens beforehand, at the time when we arrived the linings were not there and we had to wait for them to be provided, and also to install them ourselves... what do you pay for here?

Everything, this property is a scam soon as you book it you get a text message from the owner saying that linen, toilet papers and quilt are all charged separately. 150 krona for 1 towel and 1 quilt The price showing is not the real price it will go up. So stay away from this scammer.

Apartment was in the basement and its beautiful. Very spacious, cleanliness, tidy, Fee Wi-Fi. Everything is good. Host is also very cooperative.

The place is big enough if you are a large group. Everything looks stunning and you can stay very comfortably and you will feel like home

When you check-out, you have to clean the place and make it like how you have found it during check-in. Other than that, everything was good

Not worth the price you pay to live in a dark basement which was not mentioned transparent in the description.It costs for bed linen and towels, you need to do the perfect cleaning like the service otherwise they would charge you 500nok. Always abit smelly in bathroom,one of the window was broken

The apartment is full of dust and dirt. We didn't have electricity for 11 hours, the host knew it and didn't inform us about it before the stay. We found this out after the power went out. He was unpleasant to call.

The flat was well appointed. Slightly out of town but handy both by car or bus.

It was a basement flat, so no outlook. On one particularnight there was a lot of noise from the floor above. Google maps was confused because of major roadworks so tricky to find ( not their fault) .

The apartment was warm and comfortable

Firstly, there was no mention that the apartment is literally on top of a major tunnel construction site, nor that the apartment was in a basement with no views and very little daylight. The kitchen is shabby, the oven and dishwasher not secured in units, causing a health and safety risk. To get to the front door you had to go behind the building along an uneven path. Linen was at an additional cost. However, it was old and stained. The apartment needed to be cleaned before we left to avoid yet an additional extra charge. The construction site meant that property was not easy to access and getting into the town is a long drive. Not goid value for money unfortunately.

I stayed in 100's of rooms and apartments, this is 1st time someone saying like this: (Bed linens and towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of NOK 150 per person or bring their own). So he will force the customers to pay more, I suggest him to increase the price if he wish and provide the minimum requirements for staying.

Excellent location for what we went. Very big and comfortable flat. It's much bigger than expected. Definitely will go back.

Price, location, amenities, fast internet. Modern "Meditarranean" style, lots of space. Good location 10min buss ride from city center, under 200Nok if you prefer a taxi. Close to Vaulen beach. Very quiet, no noise in the night. Nice host greeting us with the key, no problems what so ever.

Sheets had a stain, not dirt, just wear and tear from washing. Tiny bit too far to nearest shop (ca. 800m+), but you can take the bus there as well if you carry something heavy so not a big problem. Bedrooms a bit warm in the summer, make sure you turn down all possible thermostats and keep windows/window-doors open during the night. Basement apartment. Pay extra for sheets and washing of aparment (or do it yourself with no charge), reminds me of the way hostels are run. This is *much* better quality than a hostel. Bit odd but I guess not too uncommon.

everything was reasonably priced, and as we brought our own linen and towels it was very reasonable and it was all clean.

only note would be that the upstairs property is also rented and you can hear every movement- the people above us were playing loud music and singing until around 2am so I would just be wary if wanting to stay with younger children- but this isn’t a problem with the property or owner itself, just something to be mindful of.

The value for money and the location were good.

The apartment wasn't bad, just very basic. I blame the misleading advertising, showing pictures that were not from the same apartment. This is a basement apartment!!! The beds were really uncomfortable, and the window from one of the bedrooms is broken and couldn't open it. In the other bedroom the curtain from the window/door touch the bed so we couldn't close it properly. We had to ask for toilet paper, and the plates and glasses were not properly clean. Sheets and towels are not included!

wasn’t aware of extra 700 NOK for cleaning plus extra 100 NOK for sheets / towels, booking.com rate shows rate includes taxes and fees, but after looking it does state this lower down, just hadn’t noticed, and wasn’t good feeling being told on arrival. little noisy from upstairs appt, but not too late, so wasn’t a big issue

The location was good for what I needed. The bed was good too. The kitchen had sufficient equipment to be able to cook.

The photos of the property are very misleading. Nowhere did it mention that the photos were of 3 different apartments, and from the description, I did expect an apartment with sun terrace and open doors out to the garden. The first photo in booking.com is showing a lovely lounge/kitchen and I booked, thinking this is the property I had booked. When I arrived, the owner told me that photo was only their logo and the photos of the apartment I was getting was some of the following photos. A logo should not be presented as the apartment you book, and I was very disappointed to find myself in a small and dark basement flat. The smell in the flat was also not great and the shower was not cleaned properly. I also had to clean the flat myself before leaving or I would have to pay 500 NOK. I at least cleaned the flat well so the next guests will find it spotless. I will never book here again.

Wonderful time we enjoyed and comfortable apartment its very nice enough facility a flexible & good service . We will hope come back again .

It was spacious and clean

The photo above is not of the suite we rented. We were NOT informed, in advance, of additional fees (bedding, parking and cleaning) that we were obliged to pay. We were also not informed that shoes shouldn’t be worn inside, or that the stove shuts down when certain high temperatures are met, so we were unable to cook a planned meal. We suggested to the owner that having this latter information posted would have been helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hinna Paradise, the flat was well equipped and Zia was a pleasant host. In the area compared the other opportunities it's really worth every Crown. Hope to have the chance in the future to visit again.

it was clean

the host has several rentals, only some of the images are from the apartment we stayed at. it was a basement level, one of the rooms had a window that was broken and could not be opened. (host said it will be fixed after our departure.) we had to ask for garbage bags, dishwasher tablets and dishes soap. there was a very limited set of dishes so we had to wash them after every meal.

This is a double-story house with 4 bedrooms (3 upstairs and one downstairs) that can host 6 people. The kitchen is very well equipped with a big fridge, a 4-hot plate stove, an oven, a coffee machine, a dishwasher. There are a lot of pans, plates, glasses and cutlery etc to cook a meal. There is a big living room with a TV and another TV in the landing upstairs. The beds are comfortable. There are two bathrooms: a small one downstairs, and a big one upstairs with a shower and a bath tub. The house located in a lovely, very quiet neighborhood not far from the center of Stavanger. There is a parking available (for an additional fee), as well as a washing machine and a drier. The owner lives just next door so he was available on our arrival and on our departure.

The house was perfect, but I did not like that the owner was trying to charge us for everything: bedsheets, towel, parking (which is literally his own property), and even the Booking.com fee that he has to pay... I was surprised that I had to pay for the final cleaning as well, as I did not remember this from the booking. There was an option to pay for the cleaning (100 Euro) or clean the house ourselves. So we decided to clean it ourselves as we had time. But I find this option disturbing because I don't want people staying in the house to clean it before my arrival. It's not a proper cleaning that should be done after the house is vacated. The owner should include the cleaning in the price, on my opinion, instead of asking the guests to clean it. Other than this we were happy with the choice.

The location is perfect, next to a wonderful beach. Not far from big supermarkets. The bethrooms are small but the kitchen and the bathroom fantastics
