Everything was very nice and very good. Hotel hall is astonishing, rooms are very beautiful with a super nice view on the lake, and everything was confortable.

Not all the staff is able to speak or understand english.

The staff's English abilities are moderate. There was no coffee machine in the room and day to day cleanining was partial as they did not replace a used tea cup and tea in the room.. The English menue in the fency Chinese restaurant on the 27th floor is in font #1 which makes it hard to figure out. The overall score comes out very goo while in fact it should be good.

The hotel is locatated slightly too far out of the CBD, but metro station access made up for it. People in adjoining rooms could be heard a little too easily, especially at night.

Very well kept hotel, rooms are spacious and clean, except the air conditioning NEVER really worked. I stayed there >6 times, the room was always too warm to my liking. Staff are friendly and always helpful! Good choice if you are near JianNing district.

It was great to walk into this Marriot with the signature scent wafting over me, heating was top notch and the staff spoke better English so I didn’t have to struggle. I loved my bed and the well appointed bath room with the “it works “ amenities ! Your demands are met fast and it had the best breakfast spread of my China visit. Will visit again

Very nice hotel, spacious rooms and very good service. We stayed 2 nights and since my husband is Ambassador Elite member with Bonvoy we got upgraded to one of their suits. Very beautiful and big room - lots of space for working and great views from the room. The Chinese restaurant had great and tasty selection of food for vegetarians. The lounge is nice - limited selection of food but quite ok. We will definitely be back.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel for a business meeting. The staff is doing so much their best to make the experience great. I really loved the level of service. Even if their English is sometimes not very good, they tried to use a translator program. Wow. The property looks also very new and modern. A great place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much a week ago. The hotel is like new with wonderful design and fine touches, our room is very clean with breathtaking views of Baijahu lake and Jiangjunshan mountains. The hotel location is great, near the local shopping center, and the transportation to railway station is convenient. The fitness facility and customer service in this hotel are outstanding. The executive lounge on the 23rd floor is impressive, in particular Gloria who is warm and friendly, took extra care of our needs which was greatly appreciated! We look forward to revisiting in the future!

It is good to stay here in Chinese new year. Comfortable room, lake view, delicious breakfast. Especially the cocktail in the executive lounge by Gloria and Nicole. And also their warm and professional work is impressive. We lost a small pendant and they found it and returned to us quickly.

Location (close to the shopping malls, subway and bus stations) lots of green areas and lakes surrounded in which is very very nice Hotel facilities maintenance is very good as most areas look very new and the gym and swimming pool function very well I love the room cleaning services very much especially I feel blessed that our room always taken care by the very professional lady called Madam zhang （Zhang Jie), I could tell she really paid attention to the guest details and tried best to make me feel like being home when staying the room, I was really impressed her smiley face and her enthusiastic attitude 👍🏻👍🏻 Since we stayed 22nights, I would say those chefs also knew our breakfast requests and tried best to cater for us 👍🏻 The front desk staff also very helpful cheerful and professional The gym staff were friendly and nice as well I definitely will stay this hotel next time and I already recommend the hotel for my friends and colleagues to consider when they visit Nanjing

VERY CLEAN AND KIND, PERFECT !

Another great hotel if you are staying in Nanjing. This was one of the busiest hotels I stayed in on my trip, but you wouldn't have noticed from the way the staff worked so efficiently. My room was very clean, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. After my workday and dinner, I had a drink at the bar which was very nice.

Die Zimmer und das Frühstück sind sehr gut. In der ersten Nacht wurde mir trotz City View Buchung und Silber Status ein Zimmer mit Aussicht auf eine Betonwand gegeben. Dieses wurde dann aber am nächsten Tag auf meine Nachfrage hin zu einem ordentlichen High Floor getauscht. Einen Abend wurde uns vor der Nase einfach die Hotelbar geschlossen, ohne Nachfrage oder Möglichkeit zu einer Bestellung für ein letztes Getränk. Das sollte möglich sein und kam uns etwas unfreundlich vor da wir noch zu arbeiten hatten. Ansonsten ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Definitiv zu empfehlen.

The hotel locates pretty near the Nanjing South Railway Station if you visit the south of the city. It's the best place to live in. The lounge is located on the 23rd floor of the hotel. If your time is not limited, don't forget the cocktail made by Sunny and Kaya~😀

I'd completed my 10days quarantine in Nanjing and then checked into this hotel for 1 night as i had a flight the next day. I dont speak a word of Mandarin and i needed to do a PCR test that day in order to make my flight. Toby, from the concierge stepped up and called up a local hospital, then booked me a taxi and also sent a bellboy, Jack with me to complete all the formalities at the hospital and bring me back to the hotel. That night, Toby arranged for the results to be picked up from the hospital and delivered to my room. Room service food was very good, breakfast spread was superb and i used the hotel limo service to go to the airport. The location is just walling distance from the lake where there are lots of eateries. I couldn't have asked for a better experience staying at this hotel. Thanks for going the extra mile for me Toby.

Location is near to Nanjing South station. Big shopping mall within 5 mins walk with some decent dining options. Check in was hugely problematic… took 20 minutes to find the reservation despite showing all the relevant booking details to the front desk. Room was decently sized and clean. Gym was well equipped and open 24 hours. Also good running options outdoor. Breakfast was an adventure. Ended up having to clean my own table as they seemed to be short on staff… what seemed like senior managers simply wondered around aimlessly without actually helping or providing assistance. Food options were above average compared to other MB hotels. Net net, it is pretty pricey for the location and service level.

This is a warm hotel. Both the front office and the western restaurant let guests experience what a second home is. In particular, I would like to thank Ryan, the duty manager of the front office. He is a very loving little brother who helps me move things and change rooms at night, We were busy till late…… If I were asked to give a star rating, I think it is a five-star hotel, but it has 6-star service and empathy for the guests, especially the loving front office, the loving western restaurant and the loving little brother Ryan. I still keep the remaining star, because it represents that the future development of the hotel will be better…… Thanks again to everyone and Ryan……

(allergy remark at the bottom) The stay has started nicely hotel's lobby looks nice and clean, however since the check in I felt uncomfortable there. Firstly the reception service making comments about me being a foreigner living in China and about my young age (they were talking right in front of me in Chinese assuming that I cannot understand) really threw me off. Secondly the room turned out to be very disappointing, we (me and my wife) were staying in a suite, and the first thing we noticed was the bad small in the shower.(the smell was muddy and smelled like a sewage piping) Another thing about the room that was disappointing was the fact that to have warm water we had to wait with an open faucet for 15 minutes for the water to become warm (yes i tried both ways and every faucet including the one at the bathtub at least twice to make sure it is not my usage what was causing the problem), so much for water saving hotels... Furthermore when the warm water finally came it was either very warm and then suddenly turning to cold, and back to warm again. Finally I have been very thrown away by the business lounge manager(or the hotel manager not sure which was the exact position of the woman working there, employees referred to her as the "manager". Let me explain why: by mistake I knocked over an empty glass on my table and it broke, I cleaned it as much as I could and notified the employees. (the regular employees at the business lounge where very nice and helpful, just the manager was not). They cleaned the glass, and it seemed like a problem has been solved. The next day when we were again at the business lounge I was approached by one of the employees and told that the manager insisted on me paying for the glass, I was surprised at first however obviously I agreed to pay for the glass. What was ridiculous about it was firstly the price I was asked to pay for the glass was whole 20RMB equal to around 3 USD(cannot believe that Marriott cannot afford a loss of a 3USD glass, especially that i knocked it over on a table by mistake not thrown it on a ground purposely), secondly the whole process of paying for the glass was ridiculous too, employees(surprised themselves by the request of the manager didn't even know how to charge me, what to write on a bill, etc since there was not an option in a system titled "broken glass", it took over 30 minutes to finally pay for it, and caused me to almost missing my train. PS The bellhop service was also very disappointing, I understand that if there is a lot of people arriving not everyone may be serviced or helped, however when we arrived there was literally no one else on the driveway just two bellhops watching us as we try to carry our heavy suitcases. (I am not expecting a red carpet and people jumping around me but even offering help or opening the doors would be nice, since the service quality is what makes the hotel stand out and its price to be as high as it is.) Allergy remark One more thing, a friend who was also traveling with us is allergic to tree nuts ( and I mean if he eats even a smallest amount he has to be hospitalized) either of the employees was sure which dish or food or anything offered actually contained nuts or could have been crossed contaminated, even despite the fact of us having detailed cars in Chinese describing what exactly he cannot be exposed to. For all people thinking I am overreacting, It is a 5 star hotel if I didn't expect a good treatment I would choose different one.

Not bad for a hotel in the south of the city. A lovely food mall and park and lake nearby but far away from rest of main city. Service a bit laid back but it’s okay. Rooms are well appointed although both room and lounge designs were a bit strange. Overall nice in the middle of nowhere except near South Gao Tie station

We have a business meeting there, very nice view. The staff MAKO is very well trained with excellent attitude. She understands the requirement quickly, come up with proposal professionally. Good experience to have meeting there.

Outstanding staying in this Hotel. Looks brand new and all staff were great to me. Special thanks to Mr. Johnson, Miss Joi and Miss Fiona from the Executive Lounge. They were super polite and very concerned about my needs ! Mr. Johnson speaks English and can communicate very well !! Congratulations for the training they have received !! Definitely I will stay again and recommend this Hotel for all my peers ! Thank you all ! The lady from the reception counter upgraded me for a new room as requested !! We stayed here for two nights during the Lunar New Year. We really enjoyed our staycation! We got upgraded to suite. Great breakfast, friendly staffs and good swimming pool. Room was spacious. Good location.

The staff at this property is amazing. Always there to assist. Rooms are awesome. Many choices on the property for food. Good location for taxi and car service pickup. Will always stay at this property when in Nanjing.

멀지 않은곳에 지하철 역이 있어서 교통은 그럭저럭 괜찮았지만 주변에 관광할만한곳은 없어서 아쉬웠습니다. 쇼핑몰은 몇개 있어서 식사할곳은 많습니다.

The Concierge Desk offered unparalleled service, the food at the Hotel was unexpectedly good and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable by any criteria.

We booked this place last minute due to some travel delays stranding us in Nanjing for an extra night. Our room was spacious and overlooked a beautiful view of the lake, which was lit up at night and a gorgeous green/blue palette for the eyes during the day. Staff was quick to accommodate us, from bringing up a wine bottle opener to providing extra water and towels. We ordered room service (the blueberry cheesecake), took a long soak in the bath, and enjoyed a relaxing in-room for most of our stay. I checked out the gym (would be nice to have some free weights, it's mostly machines and quite small) and pool. Mini-bar selection wasn't great, but the room-service menu and surrounding food options (most of which conveniently deliver and drop off at the concierge) made up for that. Would love to stay here again next time I'm in Nanjing!

New, clean high end rooms. Fantastic bathroom with waterfall shower and soaking tub. Staff spoke English well. Food and fitness center excellent.

Room service took forever and everything was predictably cold after I called for a second time to have it sent up. Some guest was making a huge row at the reception desk which left one lady in tears and created a significant delay checking in. Outside of those two incidents, it was fine. Clean and comfortable. There is an area with many restaurants about a five to ten minutes walk away. Reasonably priced for a Marriott.

Best hotel in the area but not city. Not too far from the Airport or South train station when compared to hotels downtown. Malls and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

The stay was amazing except for one major thing. The WiFi has all non Chinese sites blocked. Thus it was a pain to do any work online. Being an international hotel, the WiFi should have been less restrictive. Other than that, the hotel was very good with nice breakfast, awesome staff, and great service.

New hotel with a good location, not far from metro, shopping and bar district 1912. The room lack some basic things like a desk where you can sit and do your work. I guess most of the guests are there for business. The floor had problems, felt like walking on a diving board in some areas. Sharp tile pieces detached from the floor in the shower. The shower also had a huge bench which you were not allowed to sit on for some reason. The over head shower did not work, it sprayed all the water onto the walls. There are no washing line where you can hang your wet clothes. The gym facilities were good but temperature was crazy hot. Also big confusion about the dinner tickets I bought. Asked many times and got different answer every time about who and how often they can be used. Invited two colleagues also staying at the hotel for dinner and had to argue long time about using the tickets I already paid for.

Beautifully appointed hotel with large and well laid out rooms. It was one of the most comfortable hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Even though the hotel is less than one year old, there are small signs that maintenance is poor. Visitors should provide feedback to the hotel about these issues.

Clean and cosy room. The location is great where is surrounded by several big shopping malls.

The hotel didn't disappoint - it is as good as a Marriott hotel can get. The comfort and the warm service aside, the hotel's heated pool in the winter is definitely a great draw. The hotel is about 10mins walk away from two major shopping malls so shopping and food is well taken care of. It is also relatively near to major tourist attractions (15 - 30mins ride) and is convenient to get about. There is a park directly across the hotel which offers much serenity.

Overall a great stay was had. Normally stay at the near by Golden Eagle but will 100% be making this my go to Nanjing hotel. Staff are amazing, can't do enough to help and when I did have a issue (power socket not working in the lounge) it was dealt with swiftly and fixed quickly.
