Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Frukost ingick inte, men köket var stort och välutrustat, plats fanns i kylen. Det fanns familj och andra boenden där men efter 22 var det knäpptyst. Rummet litet men det fanns stora utrymmen och gott om sittplatser.

As a foreigner who isn't familiar with the system, read the signs the host has placed for easy navigation and settling in. It wasn't easy for me but the signs helped.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Great location a bit outside of Trollhättan. Supermarket and a few restaurants nearby (walking distance). I was allowed to safely store my bike inside during the night (in the hallway). A bit of a special place, I've never slept in a church. ;) Had a room with a bathroom and shower attached so I can't comment on the shared facilities, however, the kitchen was enormous and equipped with everything you might need during your stay. Coffee and tea for free. I also want to hilight the exceptional exchange with the staff and that I got a great recommendation for my cycling route, which took me through scenic places on my way back to Gothenburg. Thanks again!
Personal preference, the bed/mattress in my room was very, very soft, that's why I'll rate the comfort a bit lower. If you like soft mattresses, you'll sleep comfortably.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Die Saab-Poster in den Aufenthaltsräumen sowie die Saab-Ausstattungsnamen der Zimmer im UG sind einmalig. Die Atmosphäre ist durch die Einrichtung, das Klavier und die familiäre Stimmung sehr angenehm.
Manchmal sind die Parkplätze nicht optimal ausgenutzt, so dass 1 Stellplatz weniger nutzbar wird als möglich.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Bra läge, mysigt kvarter. Nära till bussförbindelser och tar inte lång tid att gå ner till centrum.
Sängen var trasig, satte man sig på ena sidan for man ner. Inte rätt storlek på madrasserna till sängstommen. När det regnade så rann det över stuprören, rakt över där entrén var så man blev dyngsur. Nyckeln fungerade heller inte i dörren när det regnade som mest och ingen svarade när man ringde numret heller. Vi fick försöka få upp dörren i 5min innan det gick... Rummet var varmt och det fanns inga fönster att öppna och endast en liten fläkt som stod i rummet, utanför rummet var det AC och bra tempratur...

I didnt like our room. There was no windows to open and it was over 30 degrees outside and about 29 degrees in the room. We had to take the floor fan from the tv-room to put in our room to be able to sleep... There was also a wall mounted TV in our room, but it was not connected to anything.... So just a black screen...

Städningen kunde varit bättre (duschdräneringen var igensatt). Det är en bit från centrum men det är ju en del av läget.

Det stod mycket saker som inte användes i flera gemensamma utrymmen, också från tidigare resenärer, vilket gjorde att det var smutsigare och stökigare än vad det kunnat vara. Mycket lyhört och andra gäster respekterade inte nattfrid, mycket prat och annat som hördes genom väggarna

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026We were visiting SAAB Car Museum in Trollhättan with our old SAABs and Spirans Rum och Logi is located in a lovely neighborhood, full of lovely Swedish houses and of course SAABs. In 10 minutes, walking distance through the forest to the city. We spent there a very nice evening and night in clean rooms. Shared spaces were again clean, properly equipped and decorated in a good style. I didn’t know before our arrival that on walls there are nice photos with SAABs. Perfect and pleasant surprise for our group of SAAB enthusiasts.

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Det ligger godt i et stille område. gratis parkering, gode forhold til at man selv har mulighed for at lave mad. Opholdsstue hvor man kan være. Nemt tjek ind. Man får en kode til at komme ind. Lige inden for, kan man på en tavle se hvilke værelser man har fået.
Havde booket 2 værelser.: 2 persons værelse og et 1 persons værelse 2 persons værelset var helt fint, men på 1 persons værelset, var det lidt støvet og nogle store nullermænd på gulvet. Men ellers ok. Med rent sengetøj og håndklæder på begge værelser.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Det var väldigt fint och fräscht och det löste sig bra med parkering vilket vi blev lite överraskade över när vi kom men var inte så mycket folk på stället så ingen fara, kanske att de skulle frågat om vi behövde parkering när vi bokade, det var dumt att vi inte tänkte på det men iallafall bra om de ställer frågan.
Det var inget som var dåligt, även att ha med egen frukost var bra tyckte vi, allt fanns i köket som vi behövde och tacksamt med kaffe och te!

The staff were so friendly and welcoming and my room was very comfortable. Enjoyed meeting the other guests too.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2025It’s a very nice property, I did not read before but I suspended to learn it’s a former church turned into a hotel. The place is very quiet and peaceful. It’s in a nice area of the town. I especially loved the walk through the little forest to get to the city center. I liked the idea of socialising with other guests that were in the house.
I booked a deluxe double room and I thought (since it wasn’t mentioned in the title it had a shared bathroom like the rest of the options) it had a private bathroom. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, none of the rooms have private bathrooms. However, that wasn’t an issue because there are several bathrooms and I always had the bathroom available when I needed it.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2025A very nice guesthouse with very friendly and service minded staff. The location is quiet and just a short 10min walk you are down at the city center. It takes 20-30min to walk to the central train and bus station. The room I had was spacious with enough space for your clothes, a big table and a very comfortable and firm bed. There are shared seating areas in and outside and a shared kitchen as well with everything you need. Cleanliness was spot on. I was very happy to stay at Spirans and will definitely come back.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2025It was a nice place to stay, it was 7mins walk from the 22 bus to the centre and the 22 bus could be joined at rhe railway station for the return journey. The kitchen was well equipped and was ideal place to meet and talk with other people. Would definitely stay there again the next time I travel to Trollhättan.
