The location is great. Walking distance to all desired locations and on sight parking is such an asset. The breakfast was delicious with an outstanding courtyard view of the city.

The location was excellent. We had a corner terrace in our room which had a beautiful view. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff were friendly.

The location was absolutely fantastic – perfect for exploring Assisi’s historic centre, while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. Parking was also extremely convenient: the hotel provides its own parking, and there is also a large public car park right next door for a fee, so arriving by car is very easy. The breakfast was excellent and was kindly adapted to my dietary requirements, which I really appreciated. My room was very clean, and even though I had booked a single room, it felt surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The shower had great water pressure as well. Overall, a lovely stay, and the location in relation to the old town really couldn’t have been better.

The main downside of my single room was that the window faced the main road leading up to the historic centre. As Assisi is on a steep hill, cars and motorcycles can be quite loud when driving uphill. I always travel with earplugs, so this did not disturb my sleep at all, but light sleepers should definitely bring earplugs. Most of the staff I met were very kind and welcoming, particularly the young woman who received me in the evening and the woman who served my breakfast. Unfortunately, my experience with another member of staff was very different. At checkout, I was reprimanded for paying the city tax by card rather than cash. I have travelled extensively in Italy and have routinely been able to pay city tax by card, so I found the way this was communicated unnecessarily unpleasant. I also found it surprising that I was charged separately for an additional double espresso at breakfast. More importantly, while I was still having breakfast at around 9:55, I was approached and reminded that checkout was at 10:30. I was already fully aware of the checkout time and had every intention of respecting it. Being reminded 35 minutes before checkout made me feel unnecessarily rushed. Had I still not checked out at 10:30, a reminder would of course have been completely understandable. These interactions were unfortunate because otherwise I had a very good stay and found the hotel, its location and breakfast excellent.

Accoglienza, gentilezza, pulizia, panorama. Cura nei dettagli, balcone con poltrone comode e "trendy". . Molto gentile e disponibile anche il personale del taxi/navetta.

Locatia este extraordinara si asigura o vedere panoramica superba asupra zonei. Micul dejun luat in gradina locatiei a fost excelent, iar personalul a fost foarte amabil.

Una piacevolissima scoperta, per ll'accoglkenza e la cortesia dei proprietari, la camera spaziosa e la vista, la pulizia, la colazione, servita in giardino, eccellente per qualita' e quantita' e la vicinanza al centro e alla fermata dei mezzi pubblici.

We love this hotel. Easy parking. Easy access to the city of Assisi. Nearby restaurants. Warm hosts and a superb breakfast with homemade pastries. This is our fourth time at the Hotel Ideale. Get the corner balcony room for a majestic view of the Umbrian countryside and to hear the turtle doves and the church bells…all this and affordable too!.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit sensationeller Lage! Das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig, Einrichtung geschmackvoll und funktionell. Ein sensationelles Frühstück im Garten war eines unserer Highlights. Man ist ganz oben in Assisi und sofort in der Innenstadt. Für das Auto gibt es einen tollen Privatparkplatz. Das Hotelbesitzerin und ihr Team war äußerst freundlich und bemüht!

L’isolation entre les chambres est très mince! On entend les personnes parler et la télévision des chambres voisines. Si vous prenez un 2 eme café au petit déjeuner on vous le facture ! Et enfin le spritz est le plus chère d’Italie 12euros !!

Banheiro: o fluxo de água no chuveiro é muito fraco e a temperatura da água do chuveiro oscilava a todo momento entre fria e muito quente, especialmente em horários mais “concorridos”.

È la seconda volta che torno in questo hotel e confermo l'impressione positiva. Lo staff è eccezionale e super accogliente. La posizione buona anche se si arriva con i mezzi pubblici dalla stazione. Il plus è sicuramente la ricca colazione servita in un giardino con vista sulla città.

Our stay at Hotel Ideale was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect – within easy walking distance of all the main attractions of Assisi while still offering peace and tranquility. The sunsets from the hotel are simply breathtaking and were one of the highlights of our trip. The views over the Umbrian countryside are unforgettable. What made our stay especially memorable was the warm, family atmosphere. Every morning, breakfast was served with genuine care and kindness by the older gentleman, who made us feel more like guests in a family home than visitors in a hotel. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Ideale for such a special experience. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Assisi

I liked everything about the hotel, especially the view and breakfast. The fried egg was served immediately after cooking in a tiny carbon steel pan, along with a platter of various baked goods, fruit, yogurt, meats, and cheese. The coffee was excellent. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. On-site parking was good to have, although there was a public (paid) parking lot across the street if needed. There was only a short walk to the center of Assisi.

Getting into the parking lot was tight, and although there was a parking sign indicating the entrance, it didn't look wide enough to fit a car, but that's typical of the area.

Die junge Dame die tagsüber da ist, ist viel zu streng! Die Wände sind sehr dünn, man hört den Nachbarn schnarchen:)).

Hotelli on erinomaisella paikalla, josta on noin 5 minuutin kävelymatka Asissin vanhan kaupungin pieniä ja idyllisiä katuja pitkin Piazza del Comunelle. Erittäin ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Yövyimme 3 yötä muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä hotellista olevassa erillisessä rakennuksessa (Suite Rerlasio 70). Oma rauhallinen piha ja auton ilmainen pysäköinti rakennuksen edessä. Hyvä sänky, hyvä suihku, hyvä keittiö ja riittävästi tilaa. Ei häiritseviä naapureita. Hotellin aamiainen on hintansa arvoinen ja hotellin terassilta iltaisin upeat näkymät.

For a reasonably priced hotel it does not get much better than this. Awsome views of the town and across the valley, convenient with on-site parking, short walk to all major churches and a really good tastefully prepared breakfast. I could not recommend this hotel more highly.

Terrific place in Assisi. We stayed in a apartment which was located at a different location, a few minutes walking from the hotel. The apartment is big and most comfortable. room is big, beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is great. Shower was convenient. The apartment is located at the entrance to the old town in a superb location with parking. Neighbors are quiet and nice. We didnt have breakfast, but the balcony which you can eat at, has the MOST beautiful view.

Bath products weren't re-filled Parking is a little narrow but possible.

The staff was exceptionally gracious and helpful. It gave me advice on things to do and assisted with reservations. The breakfast were exceptional in both quantity and quality. I enjoyed spending evenings either on my own patio or the Terrace overlooking the countryside.

Das Hotel wird familiär geführt und die Familie ist sehr hilfsbereit. Ich hatte ein schönes Zimmer mit einem Traumausblick auf die ganze Stadt. Das Frühstück hat mich immer wieder begeistert.

The hotel is perfectly located at the top of Assisi with spectacular views. Our rooms were both very nice, though quite different in size. Breakfast was lovely, and we felt very well taken care of. It has the feel of a charming bed and breakfast. They offer wine, which is perfect to enjoy out on the veranda or grassy area while taking in the scenery. They kindly held our luggage after checkout so we could explore Assisi, and our tour left from the bus station directly across the street. A great spot.

Das pittoreske Hotel mit seiner wunderbaren Terrasse und dem fantastischen Garten liegt wie eine ruhige Oase am Rande von Assisi - abseits des Trubels und doch nur wenige Meter von den bedeutendsten Kulturschätzen entfernt. Unsere Gastgeber haben den Urlaub durch ihre Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. grazie mille!

LOVED the view from our balcony and the terrace behind the property. Amazing sunsets! The staff are VERY friendly and helpful. Provided great recommendations. Breakfast was an entire plate of pastries with juice and coffee -- delicious. The location is great. Right on the edge of town and the no traffic zone. Easy access to the town on one side or to go down the hill to San Damiano.

I am used to small showers, but at least in our room, it was incredibly small. Otherwise the room was comfortable and again, the balcony was amazing and made this a place I would always come back to.
