Châteauhotel De Havixhorst

Beautiful historic building surrounded by gardens. Friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable. Rooms are very spacious, classic with a modern twist. Fine dining restaurant on premise allows for an upscale experience. We stayed here after visiting Giethoorn (20 min drive) before heading further North to Bourtange (60 min drive) and Groningen. Great overall stay.

Zeer attend

De airco in de kamer maakte veel lawaai.

Prachtige plek, heel goed verzorgd en onderhouden, mooie kamer, uitstekend ontbijt, alom vriendelijk personeel. Je voelt het elan!

The shower, the bathroom, the wide space in the room

Beacuse of the old structure of the room, the sound of the cleaning service in the room above ours was heard loudly and was disturbing in the night time and early morning

Prachtige omgeving heerlijk rustig.

Niets

Prachtige locatie. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Top-restaurant. Zeer ruime en luxe kamers.

Nydelig sted, i flotte omgivelser. Nydelig frokost . Kommer definitivt tilbake!

Magnifique

Beautiful, tasteful, interesting property. Excellent staff. Perfect surroundings

A beautiful hotel. The staff were do friendly and helpful. It has to be rated as the nicest environment and place I’ve stayed for a long time. Fully recommend place. And I will be back again.

Nothing

Super goed ontbijt en een top bed. Grote badkamer

Lovely place, beautiful garden

All good!

De prachtige historische atmosfeer

Langzame lift

Fijne kamer

Ontbijt beetje prijzig

Vriendelijk personeel, erg behulpzaam. Mooie accomodatie in mooie omgeving.

Heel goede prijs kwaliteit, mooie grote kamers, fantastisch ontbijt.

De locatie is wel wat edgelegen.

restaurant en buitenterras

De locatie was prachtig, mooie beelden- en rozentuin. Ook een grote moestuin en eigen kippetjes.

Excellent service, high-class accomodation, very nice restaurant

Everything was fine

Grote mooie royale kamer. Heerlijke bedden Mooie omgeving Heerlijk ontbijt

Prachtig hotel! Luxe kamer. Top bed. Vriendelijk personeel. Erg behulpzaam! Top ontbijt. Kortom we komen snel terug.

A great romantic escape. Within beautiful nature. Amazing cousine. Kind people.

Good restaurant.

Not a 5 stars hotel.

Excellent "hands on " staff - always available for a chat or for service.

Super mooi chateau gelegen in de natuur. Vollop wandelingen en fietstochten te maken. Beeldentuin en kruidentuin ook de moeite waard.

Choosing the hotel through Como Travels in Kuwait was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, smiling, and very helpful.

Really nice staff, wonderful food and picturesque location.

A dream hotel in the countryside of Amsterdam. I liked it very much. It makes you feel very special.

Nothing bad to say about the hotel. The room was very warm even though the weather was very cold.

Amazing location, very nice and knowledgeable people and incredible service!

There wasn’t anything that we did not liked

Charming, well cared for. Great value for money

Great for a group of people. Fabulous restaurant, great breakfast, very friendly staff. Exceptionally well looked after.

I would have liked a softer pillow. Personal preference.

We really enjoyed our stay and stayed longer than planned. Beautiful experience

It's an amazing hotel with fantastic helpful & warm staff--truly a a luxury experience. The room was fantastic, and the hotel was beautiful. The grounds were beautiful (though we didn't get to explore much due to a delayed arrival and rain), but a highlight was that we could enjoy the beautiful view while staying dry inside.

The location, room, breakfast, surroundings, and the great team !!

Nothing!

Beautiful spot one hour from Amsterdam, definitely worth to visit. The best service, food and relaxing atmosphere.

Would have given 5* but a wedding disco that went on late into the night didn’t make for a restful stay. Everything else about the stay was wonderful.

Serene beautiful estate with stunning grounds, hospitable staff and great restaurant with culinary gems. A wonderful place to get away and relax.

The location and restaurant are excellent! And it’s not far from Giethoorn if you wish to visit it one day. You can also rent bikes directly at the hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

nice place

Nieuwsgierig? Wik, weeg en reserveer!

just a great location, rooms were great, very elegant

Alles

Niets

Everything. This place is simply amazing. We have visited many times and will return many more. The hotel is simply a beautiful piece of history that you can spend a few nights in, while enjoying amazing food and wine in the restaurant for dinner. The breakfast shouldn't be missed either.
