Tawaen Beach Resort

Last minute booking. Nice room. Breakfast very average. Dinner offering very good on beach no less. Pricey to check out late. Would repeat.

Restaurant was to much expensive compared to other restaurants in the neighbourhood, so I would think twice to have a dinner here. Walking distance from nabaan pier is NOT 15 minutes walking distance as mentioned on websites from expedia and booking but 35 minutes over mountain walking pad, what a misleading tric. Room rate to expensive compared with the amenities in the room. Motorbikes taxi scam you for at least 50 baht per person to take you to nabaan pier. If you are not thai residence than consider these. For me never, never again.

Nice, clean comfortable stay right on the beach front.

A little noisy at night.

For the visiting on Larn, good choice. Rooms has Japanise style doors, so you hear everything from aisle. Breakfast was quite simple. Very friendly staff and suitable hotel for visiting one or two nights on island.

Rekommenderas!

Loved it! Staff is super friendly and the beach is right in front of the resort no complaints

Small , clean, good food. Nice beach.

I will stay here again and recommend this place to my friends. Staff was very helpful

Great Resort in reasonable price. Friendly staff. Best location close to the beach. Delicious foods. We will be back on the next time we come.

Great location and friendly personal.

Clean

This is the worst hotel I have ever been in my life. They tried to scam us by saying that we have made the bed sheet dirty and so we will have to pay 1800 baht for that. They are very disrespectful specially the lady at the reception. Avoid this hotel if you don't want to get scammed. There are a lot of good hotels beside this one.

Everything fine but not to many smiling staff Breakfast very poor Cold sausage, raw eggs and toast without butter

The hand railings were unsafe, the handrails are rotted and rotted right through on the stairwell. The staff trying to make you spend money to clean sheets when they get a little bit dirty as the sheets are white.

Just across small walking road from beach. Very accessible. Very good service on the beach under the canopies. Only negative bump I had is the very thin front doors and wall made the room noisier than should've been in evening hours. Also, as American, I could find no english speaking channels. Would be great if there was a smart tv to cast my phone to for Netflix!!

In hotel restaurant had many food options, and food was very good. Room was good, and hotel is located right on the beach. Motorbike rental was very reasonable price for full day.

The resort steps to the beach. Can't say enough about the attentive and hospitality of the staffs there. We got the deluxe room with the balcony. The room is simple. Nothing special. The wifi is good. Good size refrigerator. The bathroom is a good sized. The stand up shower has a drainage issue. Same goes for the sink. Balcony view is nothing to see. Western breakfast comes with our package, but it could be better. The congee had a piece of paper in my gf bowl. We also got lunch there and thought the softshell crab curry was good. The fish cake was oily. They have motor bikes and Paddle board to rent. Complimentary snorkeling too. Beach water is warm and clear. White sandy beach. Issue with trash floating on the beach. Wish and hope that locals and tourists would take trash issue seriously and clean it up. Would be ashamed if and when more tourists comes trash will be out of control. Good for weekend trip.

For a trip to Koh Larn this time I was very impressed because on the day I went there was a little rain. The atmosphere at that time was very good. I had a great rest with my group of friends. I went to sit and listen to music at night. It was such a great relaxation, and most importantly, the hotel took good care of us. Thank you.

Stayed at Tawaen Beach Resort in November with friends for two nights. This hotel is located at Tawaen Beach, right on the beach. They have sun loungers for guests to utilise (except Wednesday which happened to be our full day on the island) The room is clean and roomy, with a queen bed, a large fridge, tv and balcony. The tv had no signal however we didn't mind so much as we had our iPads/phones. The room has only soap provided, no shampoo or conditioner. And no sitting space in the room so a couch or chair would have been handy. The bar, dining rooms are located at the front of the hotel, which you walk through to get to your rooms. Only downfall is noise travels, so on the first night other guests must have been sitting drinking in the dining area so couldn't really get to sleep until they were finished. The doors are very thin sliding doors so you can hear everything. The complementary breakfast is very basic; toast, coffee and you are provided with pork sausages and two eggs. We had lunch on both occasions and the food was good as were the smoothies. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. The kitchen closes at 7pm and there really isn't much to do on this side of the island after that. Would stay again should I make my way back down to Ko LAN.

They have among the friendliest staff working there all willing to go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy.
