Poor logistics, and poor planning by management. Supposed to go here for a week in sept 2026 with several family members and we booked several villas. I booked through Orbitz for 3 adults and one child. I then happened to notice while planning my trip two weeks before that they don't allow children and called the hotel to verify. They cancelled my room and made no accomodations. This isn't 5 star service. Disorganized and poor execution. Why did I have to call you ? Why did you not inform your third parties that you don't allow children. Poor operations and poor logistics. Blessing in disguise, stay else where I'm a physician in the United States so I rarely get to travel but when I do I expect a 5 star level place to be accommodating and have better execution.
New mom celebrating my anniversary with friends and family. We planned this trip for the last 6 months. Confirmation went through, we didn't know children were not allowed until 2 weeks prior. We are now forced to be separated from our family and incurring double the cost to move at the last minute. Concierge service was not helpful at all in remedying the situation. They could have been accommodating and allowed our child to remain in our villa. Poor operations and concierge service. Not 5 star.
Great view. Good food. Private beach. Friendly staff.
Don't get me wrong we would consider returning here someday but I find the place a little overrated. The facility did not meet my expectations. Water and power can go out. Okay, I get that it is a general problem that concerns the whole island but a hotel in this price range must have a backup plan like generator. I was having a shower, unacceptable. Also the operations manager killed our vibe even before we arrived. They wanted to confirm the credit card used for the reservation belonged to me but this issue was brought up repeatedly as if my transaction was fraud or something despite the fact that I was ready to display everything they needed. I travel around the world and have stayed in various places but never have experienced anything like this from a hotel in this caliber. Also, they should seriously consider renovating the gym. It was a disaster.
We stayed here for 4 nights to end our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We had one of the honeymoon suites with our own private plunge pool and two story suite (bed is on the 2nd floor and bathroom is on the 1st floor). A lot of reviews complain about the drive to the property…get a car that can handle it (SUV with AWD or 4WD) and just beware that the last 1km is straight downhill into the property so it feels scary but you get used to it. It’s worth it for the serenity you get at the property! Seriously….we were worried about the road and it really was not a big deal. Driving in Milos in general is difficult at times and getting to Milos Cove is no different. Staff: The staff were incredible from the minute we first entered the property. When you check in you receive a private tour of the amenities. Shoutout to our girl Eva at the pool, she made our stay so fun and welcoming every day! Pool/Beach: The pool is a beautiful infinity pool, overlooking the private beach, where you can sit in a two-person cabana or lounge chairs and order drinks and food. The private beach with chairs and umbrellas (that don’t provide much shade until later in the afternoon as an FYI) are a 5 min steep walk on gravel from the pool. You can also be driven up/down by the staff in a golf cart. Having a beach with a dock and ladder was a very nice addition so you don’t need to leave the property to swim in the Aegean. Breakfast: Breakfast was a decent mix of cold buffet and made-to-order eggs each day. The baked eggs were our favorite. Restaurant: We went to the restaurant a few nights of our stay and it was never crowded (one night we were the only ones there) and we were always taken good care of by the staff. Highlights were the bread basket, carpaccio, truffle pasta, and their homemade ice cream. Our only suggestion would be to switch up the menu more often/have specials so it might be more enticing for people to stay and eat there rather than have to drive 20+ minutes to restaurants on the island. That said the food and service were fantastics and what you would expect at a 5 star hotel. Spa: We booked a 60 minute couples massage + obsidian bath ritual for 50 mins. The staff and therapists were lovely for the massage part but we did not realize that the obsidian baths we would be in separate baths and it’s in a somewhat public area so people were using the sauna/steam room and we would hear their conversation. The baths are somewhat uncomfortable/we kept slipping around from the massage oil so could not fully relax. I would instead book a longer massage and skip the baths! Other Thought: Consider revitalizing the website and add better pictures. We originally were booked at another hotel on Milos and due to construction they rebooked us here. We originally chose the other hotel over Milos Coves simply because the Milos Cove website was bare bones and the pictures of the accommodations, restaurant, pool, beach, etc. did not seem to meet 5 star property. Ironically, they all did and the real-life is better than pictures so all worked out but just a recommendation.
Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve been to for a long time that said the staff are lovely and that is where it ends the rooms are more like an airport hotel room nothing luxurious about them like the sink is in the bedroom tiny windows no view all for £980 per night save your money you will be so disappointed also it’s miles from anywhere taxi £70 each way or £100 just to get back from the nearest town honestly I would not go . If you came here and paid all that money I think you would just cry
Without a doubt, this was the highlight of our trip to Greece. We honestly said we’d come back to Greece just for the chance to stay here again. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Every staff member made us feel so welcome, and nothing was ever too much trouble. A special thank you to Stamatis in the restaurant, who went above and beyond to make every meal memorable. The entire team created such a warm, personal experience, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. It has such an exclusive, peaceful feel, with incredible views, beautiful facilities and the perfect atmosphere to completely switch off. If you’re looking for a quiet luxury escape, this place is hard to beat. The location is a little more secluded, so we’d definitely recommend hiring a car, but for us, that’s exactly what made it so special. It felt private, relaxing and away from the crowds, while still being close enough to explore everything Milos has to offer. We’ve stayed in some amazing places, but this was on another level. The combination of the breathtaking setting, world-class service and attention to detail made it an experience we’ll never forget. A genuine 10/10. We can’t wait to come back.
The gym was great but very hot.
Panorama e struttura meravigliosa
Intimately remote
My family and I just returned from our 4-night stay in Milos Cove. Wow, what a colossal disaster! The resort touts its heavy 5-star resort but to be honest it delivers 3-star amenities at best. There is ZERO elegance to the soap, shampoo, lotion (you literally get generic soap, lotion, shampoo – nothing special about it). And you get one bath towel, one hand towel, and one washcloth). You are given one beach/pool towel that you are expected to take with you to the pool or beach. Asking for more is met with surprise. A reader might think I am being pretentious but if I was paying a fraction of the cost this would be understandable - the cost/quality is way out of whack. If you are use to the Four Seasons or Luxury hotel brands this is NOT it. Just be warned on what you are getting into when you arrive. Let me start with the positives. It is absolutely a beautiful view from the restaurant – no doubt about it. The staff are very helpful and does the best they can with what they have to work with. The wait staff, housekeeping, etc. are friendly and attentive. The place is clean. And I enjoyed my food experience. Now to the challenges: it starts with check-in. The “lobby” is literally a black room with a large rock with a hologram on it (felt Jurassic Park to me). Almost impossible to see given the heavy sunlight outside – not warm or welcoming at all. You are asked at check-in if you want your towels replaced every day (huh – 5 star?) The gym is a joke...old equipment and again I called it the “black box” with zero windows and nice dungeon experience. The rooms – have you ever had glass ceilings and therefore floors in the upstairs/downstairs in your life? Well you have that here for some reason. Literally the floor separating downstairs from upstairs in the middle of the room is glass - people in the room downstairs can see the people in the upstairs when they are naked getting ready, walking out of the shower, etc. Huh? Oh and the first-floor rooms are blessed with windows into the bathroom that can be seen from outside walkers. Imagine showering and having a casual walker be able to literally walk by and see you naked in the shower. Was this a swingers place back in the day? The location is remote, which is good and bad. Some might say that is romantic and to an extent it is. However, it is at least 30 minutes from everything else on the island. And to get anywhere you need to be ready for some real bumpy roads in an out (you are driving by the way since there are no Uber’s/taxis). The last mile in and out is a VERY hilly unpaved road. Enjoy! In summary, this is a 5-start price tag with 3-star amenities at best. If you are looking for 5-start this is not it.
If you’re looking for a nice pool and cute private beach, then this place may be for you but if you want good food and close proximity to anything outside of the hotel…then stay away. Some of the worst food we’ve ever had at a hotel. Expect things like burgers, pizza and €20+ drinks. The hotel is also 30+ minutes drive from ANYTHING in Milos with taxi prices being €70-100 each way.
There are luxury hotels, and then there are places that leave a lasting impression on your soul. Milos Cove is one of those rare places. My husband and I stayed for four nights, and by the time we left, we were already talking about when we could come back. It wasn’t just our favorite hotel in Greece—it was one of the most unforgettable hotels we’ve ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had discovered a secret corner of the island. Nestled high above its own secluded cove, Milos Cove offers a level of privacy and tranquility that’s almost impossible to find. It truly feels like your own private paradise. Our suite was breathtaking. The design perfectly blends luxury with the natural beauty of Milos, incorporating local stone and organic materials that make the room feel elegant without ever feeling overdone. The bedroom was upstairs, overlooking the turquoise Aegean Sea and the hotel’s private cove. Waking up to that view every morning honestly felt surreal. It was, without question, the most spectacular hotel view I’ve ever had. The bathroom deserves its own paragraph because it was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. The shower was the best I’ve ever had in any hotel—powerful water pressure, two oversized rainfall showerheads that made it perfect for couples, and luxurious bath products that smelled incredible. It felt less like a hotel bathroom and more like a five-star spa. The service was flawless. Every single person we encountered was genuinely kind, welcoming, and eager to make our stay unforgettable. You never felt like just another guest. The staff remembered us, anticipated our needs, and consistently went above and beyond. Lina and Vangelis stood out as two of the most thoughtful staff members I’ve ever met. Their warmth and hospitality elevated an already incredible stay into something truly special. The setting is what makes Milos Cove completely magical. Because the hotel sits in a remote part of the island, you escape the crowds entirely. Many afternoons I had the private beach completely to myself—a luxury that’s nearly impossible to find in the Greek Islands during peak season. The silence, interrupted only by the sound of the waves, was pure bliss. The private cove is, in my opinion, the most beautiful beach on Milos. Since it’s only accessible by hotel guests or by boat, it remains peaceful and pristine. The crystal-clear water is stunning, and the colorful volcanic rocks lining the shoreline are unlike anything we’ve seen before. Milos is rich in volcanic minerals, so every rock seems to have its own unique colors and patterns. Guests spent hours collecting and admiring them—it became one of our favorite unexpected memories from the trip. One of our favorite experiences was taking a boat tour around the island. Thanks to the hotel’s private dock, our captain picked us up and dropped us off directly at Milos Cove. It couldn’t have been more convenient and made us feel like we were arriving by yacht to our own private resort. The food deserves every bit of praise it receives. Breakfast was included and was exceptional—an abundant buffet paired with a full à la carte menu that was prepared to order. Every morning felt leisurely and indulgent. Dinner was hands down our favorite meal on the entire island. The restaurant sits dramatically atop the cliffs overlooking the cove and the endless blue Aegean Sea. On beautiful evenings, the retractable roof opens, transforming the restaurant into an open-air dining experience beneath the stars. Between the breathtaking views, impeccable service, and phenomenal cuisine, every dinner felt unforgettable. Although we didn’t end up booking treatments, we toured the spa and immediately wished we had made the time. Designed to resemble an elegant obsidian cave, it felt peaceful, intimate, and unlike any spa we’ve seen before. I had planned to experience one of their signature bath rituals, but unfortunately ran out of time. Next visit, it’ll be the first thing I book. Our private plunge pool quickly became one of our favorite places to relax. While it’s not heated, it was still refreshing and comfortable in early July. The staff cleaned it every day, and our patio—with lounge chairs, a dining table, umbrella, and uninterrupted sea views—became the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine after exploring the island. If I had to mention one downside, it’s simply getting there. The hotel is about 20–30 minutes from the port, Plaka, and most other destinations on Milos. The roads are narrow, mostly dirt, steep in sections, and not always well marked. I’d strongly recommend renting an all-wheel-drive vehicle and embracing the adventure. Surprisingly, what initially felt intimidating became part of the charm. Every drive back to Milos Cove felt like returning to a hidden sanctuary that very few people get to experience. Milos Cove isn’t just a luxury hotel—it’s an experience. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, the crowds disappear, and every detail has been thoughtfully designed to make you feel completely at peace. Between the breathtaking setting, world-class hospitality, incredible food, beautiful accommodations, and the unforgettable private cove, this is one of the most magical places we’ve ever stayed. We only wish we had booked a longer stay.
Lots of sandy beaches to enjoy with beautiful crystal clear water.

Road to get there
Incredible experience: the rooms were very comfortable and the dining experience was amazing. The staff was very friendly and accomodating and they made our honeymoon truly special. The recommendations by the concierge were perfect. I would definitely stay there again when given the chance.
The hotel is in a remote location, and driving in and out may seem like a challenge at first, but it's totally worth it if you're looking for a secluded experience and a relaxing environment.
Milos Cove is a beautiful and tranquil resort in a remote part of Milos. It has a private rocky beach and pool with spectacular views of The Aegan Sea. It is ideal for special occasions like honeymoons, anniversaries or other celebrations. The staff was exceptional in meeting all of our needs while providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is onsite daily and is a most charming host. It is a serene environment with premium amenities. The restaurant overlooks the Sea and adjacent mountain where we enjoyed watching goats grazing every day. Sometimes they even come down to the beach or drink out of the pool! I highly recommend this resort is you are looking for a place to relax in luxury.
Nice hotel, but due to the location I would only stay here at the end of a trip where you plan to just stay on property for 2 days and relax + have stayed somewhere else on Milos at least 1 day closer to the main attractions. ▪ Pro: • One of the few hotels that has its own beach, though its down a semi-steep dirt path, but they can take you down on golf card. The beach is pebble, common in Europe, but there are basic beach loungers and tiki style umbrellas. • Incredible views of cliff side going into the ocean and nearby islands. • Rooms are new and modern, I believe all have a plunge pool. • Gym & Spa. ▪ Con: • It is pretty remote from anything else you would want to go to. • The ~12 minutes leading up to the resort is a windy, steep, dirt/rock road that is very bumpy and at night a little scary. 8 of those 12 minutes is just the driveway to get to the hotel from the ‘main’ road. For this reason we wished we rented a jeep just to do that drive. • Shower is full glass into the bedroom. • Breakfast not on par with other European countries but this was consistent across all Greek hotels. • The décor is very minimalist and modern, but they went too modern with things like lights and facuets that were hard to work
Lage, Pool, sehr freundliches Personal
The location is absolutely stunning, with near private access to a beach, and the hotel is very beautifully designed. The experience is well curated, and the (vast) staff is very nice and extremely competent. The restaurant is also very good. The obsidian spa provides a unique experience, we very much enjoyed our massage and bath treatment. Special thanks to Stella for the wonderful and attentive massage.
We didn’t have a car, and the taxis are very expensive due to the remote location and dirt road (80€/trip). On top of this expensive stay, this discouraged us from wondering around the island and we instead stayed at the hotel. The suites are beautiful and very Instagram-friendly, but not necessarily the most comfortable.
The location is simply magical. The buildings are beautiful, the architecture as well as the placement and orientation are very well thought out. The private beach is gorgeous and secluded. The rooms are spacious, clean, beautiful. The staff is incredibly friendly. They always make you feel like VIP guests. The owners are there to greet you and talk to you. I will be going back to this magical place.
I recently stayed at Milos Cove Resort, and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the expectations set by its five-star rating. While the staff was friendly and professional and the views were close to perfect, we several significant issues during our visit which left us disappointed and concerned about safety. Firstly, the room rate quoted to us was misleading. We were initially informed that the rate was for five guests, yet upon check-in, we faced an unexpected increase. This lack of transparency was frustrating, especially when compounded by the rude response from management when we sought clarification. Secondly, safety issues in our suite, particularly with the shower door, were inadequately addressed. The door was off its track and an attempt to correct it initially was made until we informed them that we were unable to slide the door and continued to remain a safety hazard. As a "solution," they’re removed the door completely which created a hazardous environment with water on the floor and wet towels on the floor leading to an unpleasant and unsafe experience. The most troubling aspect of our stay was the private boat excursion, which was highly recommended by the concierge. The boarding conditions were unsafe due to slippery rocks, and an unstable dock area. Despite our efforts to seek alternative solutions for our elderly mother, the responses were dismissive. The lifeguard who attempted to assist my mother was exceptional but nonetheless was unsuccessful to safely get my mom on the boat. This left my mother alone in our suite while the rest of us participated in the excursion, creating significant distress for our family. Upon raising these safety concerns, I sent two follow-up emails, but the management team has not responded. This lack of communication further compounds our disappointment, as these issues are not merely matters of customer service – they were genuine safety concerns that needed immediate attention. While I had high hopes for our family vacation, the unresolved safety issues and poor communication have overshadowed our overall experience. I hope that management takes these matters seriously and addresses them for future guests.
Excellent service, unique location, amazing architecture, excellent food, and great personnel !!!
I had an amazing stay at Milos Cove! The hotel is stunning, with modern design, incredible sea views, and a peaceful atmosphere. My suite was beautiful and so comfortable. The road was very easy since we booked an SUV as suggested prior arrival , and once you arrive you’re rewarded with absolute peace and quietness. The staff were warm and attentive, and the food was excellent. Perfect for a relaxing, luxurious escape in Milos. Highly recommend!

We visited Milos Cove for our 25th wedding anniversary. We chose it for its seclusion and pool suites and location. The resort is STUNNING with amazing views, pool and private beach. But for the price and what I expect from a 5-star resort, there were a few issues. Pros: views! Beach! Pool! Private pool suites with sea view! Comfy bed! Spa and fitness facilities (though we didn’t use). Full service restaurant. Service, especially wait staff at breakfast and golf cart drivers, was great. Cons: location is remote and roads to the resort are awful. You must have a decent car. shower leaked water all over the room. Slippers provided, but no robes, which seems like a simple add for a more comfortable stay. Bath products weren’t authentic from Greece or natural which would have been more in keeping with the vibe of the resort. While breakfast and lunch were decent, dinner was honestly bad (worst meal we had). Overall the resort felt like an insta influencer paradise, but fell short in a few areas that I would expect from a 5-star.
Excellent service/ food/ rooms The hotel is in a magnificent area, built in a way that fully blends with the surroundings Food and service left nothing to be desired.
We loved our experience at Milos Cove! Upon arrival we were upgraded and hotel staff was super accommodating and carried our luggage to our room and gave us a tour of the hotel. It's definitely more remote and far from restaurants or town but the private beach was amazing. The restaurant can be pricey but the spa is amazing! We loved that our boat charter was able to pick us up right from the hotel dock! Truly a great experience!
Everything is good
Awesome staff great rooms fabulous chef
Breakfast needed to be done a lot better as other hotels doing much better job and offer a much better selection also it's very bad business to charge people when they ask for a wine opener to charge them five euros to bring it to the room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Dishonest employees Overcharging
The Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
To have a 5 star hotel without the basic infrastructure like a normal road leading to it makes no sense. The "dirt track" and I use that term lightly as the path leading to the hotel is practically unusable and a frightening experience to drive through, especially at night. It makes no sense to offer a 5 star accommodation if you were unwilling to make it easily accessible. The resort itself is ok. But nothing spectacular. The room was basic and severely overpriced. The dark bathroom and lack of sufficient lighting in the bathroom area made things hard when you wanted to get ready. The constant need for buggy rides to get up and down the hotel was fun at first but annoying after a few hours. The room was not the cleanest. The "black out blindes" still let the light through. The air-conditioning was very noisy. There are better, more accessible hotels on the island for a lot less in terms of money. If you do decide to go for this hotel, get a 4×4 vehicle at the very least. The terrain on that path is frightening. To be on the safe side, consider hiring a tank and driving there with that.
The property is stunning, designed in a refined minimalist style that blends perfectly with the natural surroundings. It feels secluded and peaceful, offering a true sense of privacy, yet without ever feeling isolated
What could be improved: • The breakfast, while fresh, feels a bit repetitive and could benefit from more variety • The lunch and dinner menu is quite limited, leaving few options for longer stays. • It would be nice to have a choice of pillow types, as the ones provided are rather firm and may not suit everyone.
PERFECT ALL THE WAY AROUND! Be sure to get a rental if you plan to move around milos. Staff, room, beach, everything was amazing.
Amazing property with a great Infiniti pool overlooking the best views
Even though the room had a great view, they ruined it by having tiny windows which I could not understand why. The hotel location is in the middle of nowhere and you would have to off-road to get there. They were playing music at the pool of you tube where an advertisement would appear every few minutes. I don’t understand how come a hotel that charges EUR 700/ night could not afford a Spotify subscription to play uninterrupted music on the pool
We stay for 9 nights in this amazing place. Everithing was above expectation and we would like to special thank to Yannis who welcomed us in the first night (quite late) when we arrived and taking care of us during our stay, for all the special time we have in Milos Cove. The staff was great and special thanks to Stavroula who care about us every morning at breakfast, and mostly to the bartender lady at main pool bar. Many thanks to Leonidas and the golfcar guys who was very helpful. Amazing place, amazing people!
Maybe the breakfast after 3-4 days becames bit boring, but this is nothing compare to the rest of super time we’ve had there.
Fantastic, spectacular, gorgeous, truly unique
Our stay at Milos Cove was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in the warm embrace of Greek hospitality (filoxenía) that made us feel right at home. Shoutout to the two lovely ladies at reception (so sorry we forgot your names!) and a HUGE thank you to Fotini, whose genuine care and attentiveness made our trip unforgettable. 💙 As vegetarians (well, eggetarians to be exact 🥚), we were blown away by the variety of fresh, thoughtful, and absolutely delicious dishes. Every bite was a testament to the love and passion Greeks pour into their food. The property itself? STUNNING. Modern, elegant, and perfectly in harmony with the island’s natural beauty. Watching the sunrise (ílios) from our villa balcony was pure magic – one of those moments that stays with you forever. 🌅 Milos Cove is where luxury meets tranquillity, and we left with our hearts full, already dreaming of coming back. Efcharistó (thank you) to the incredible team for making this experience so special! #MilosCove #GreekHospitality #HiddenGem
I absolutely fell in love with Milos Cove. The service was truly incredible, every single staff member was so kind, thoughtful, and attentive that it made the entire stay unforgettable. I felt so comfortable and cared for, as if I were among friends. The food was amazing, and enjoying it with those breathtaking views made each meal so special. On top of that, the owners were so warm and genuine, which only added to the charm of the whole experience. Milos Cove is not just a beautiful place, it’s filled with wonderful people who make it extraordinary. I can’t recommend it enough!
Beautiful property with amazing staff but very secluded from the main town areas. As long as you don't mind being a little removed from the towns/paying $$ for car transfer when you want to go somewhere then this property is amazing
Infinity pool with breathtaking views of the ocean! Private beach was also convenient down the pool to take a dip. Overall quietness, nice suite with own mini pool with views of the mountain. Friendly staff.
Isolated location with 2.5 km non asphalt road to get there. Besides, the rocky road with up and down hills and curves all the way to the hotel was not easily accessible with a normal car. Only SUV or above type of cars are suitable to get there. The hotel should have informed about this after the reserve is made by the customer knowing the difficulties to get there due to the road conditions. It’s an idyllic hotel for 2-day stay where you do not move from the hotel and enjoy its facilities. Not ideal hotel if you plan to move around and explore the island an its small towns.
It's an amazing hotel that tells you a story, gives you the experience rather then just a luxury hotel. And it does it well. People that work there are great. Food is probably one of the best you can eat on the island. And the views are unique and beautiful. Beach and see is great and usually not busy at all.
Everything if you would look into it separately can be slightly better, but if we will look on a whole experience it's amazing.
Remote and private
Can’t beat the view and amenities.
My husband and I decided to stay here for a portion of our honeymoon. We had planned to come to Milos and booked at another well known hotel that gave us the run around and canceled. It ended up being such a blessing. The owner of Milos Cove and the staff were phenomenal. We cannot imagine a better experience. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable with a beautiful view. They have thought through every aspect of your stay. You are greeted with welcome drinks and they review a map of the island with you and advise your trip based on weather and number of days. They assist in booking dinner reservations, our amazing boat tour, and even had a car delivered for us. We loved the hotel so much we decided to stayed there and enjoy the spa, the beach, pool and restaurant for a few days. We loved the staff and the service was 5 stars! We are already planning to come back next year. Anyone who has questions about the road - it’s fine! Not 4wheeler friendly like some of the other islands but most of the roads in Milos aren’t.
First and foremost, I must highlight the exceptional environment in which this hotel is located. It is truly a haven of peace, nestled in nature, with a private cove of striking beauty, offering an impressive palette of blues and an awe-inspiring cliff backdrop. I would also like to warmly thank the ENTIRE team for their five-star service. Whether it was the team at the reception, the restaurant, the pool, the Spa or the housekeeping staff. (Claire -> The French Name of the manager taking care of everything , The owner, Evan, Thanos , Stella, Sofia … All of YOU) You are the added value of the establishment, and you make it shine without hesitation. I have rarely seen a team so united, professional, attentive (always going the extra mile), and constantly wearing a genuine smile. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of sweet and savory options, as well as an extensive selection of beverages, including freshly squeezed orange juice and even prosecco. It featured both à la carte items and a generous buffet (see photos). The room was comfortable, perfectly laid out, and tastefully decorated. It had a spacious shower with dual shower heads. The view from the room was simply spectacular. We would have only preferred that the terrace not be covered and be equipped with a parasol—but that’s just a minor detail. The infinity pool, overlooking the cliff, offered a breathtaking panorama. The amenities provided, such as the sun loungers and Balinese beds, were remarkably comfortable. The private cove is a real asset. It’s equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, and has a dock that allows for direct dives into the sea. An electric cart shuttle service is also available to make access easier. I also had the pleasure of visiting the spa—an absolutely relaxing and totally disconnecting experience. I would like to warmly thank Stella and Sofia for their professionalism, kindness, and outstanding skills. Access to the steam room and sauna is included at no extra cost. Don’t hesitate for even a second to stay at this establishment—every detail has been thoughtfully considered to offer you a flawless experience, conducive to rest and serenity.
Gorgeous hotel! The staff were wonderful and welcoming - felt like friends by the end. Private beach is an oasis and a nice change up from the pool. They offer service there too which is a nice treat. Stunning views. I stayed in a standard room but upgraded for my last night and wish I’d done sooner - worth the extra money! Would visit again!
This hotel has been carefully designed to integrate with the environment and is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail and passion of the owner and all the staff was a delight. Our room was beautiful and the restaurant provided beautifully cooked classic Greek food.
I recently stayed in a Deluxe Suite with limited view and, to my surprise, it exceeded all expectations. The suite offered great privacy, which I truly appreciated—and even though the view was "limited," the main pool area provided breathtaking views that more than made up for it. The hotel restaurant was a highlight of my stay. Every dish was full of flavor. From breakfast to dinner, experience was excellent. I also treated myself to a massage and a relaxing bath at the spa, and I’m so glad I did. The atmosphere was serene, the service professional, and I left feeling completely refreshed. Overall, a truly memorable stay—I would return in a heartbeat.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff were warm and professional, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was with stunning views and all the luxury amenities one would expect from a five-star property. Everything was well taken care of, and the whole place felt peaceful and relaxing. Already counting the days until we're back . Andreas , same time next year! Thank so much for everything
If I could leave a negative star, I would. We were gifted a stay by wonderful friends as a nice getaway for myself, my husband and daughter. We were very excited to see another island and get a break as a family- as we live a couple islands over on Mýkonos and have our own small hotel. So I say the following from both the stance of the guest, and hotel owner: the service we received and the way we were spoken to was appalling. We arrived after difficult travel and having rented an SUV as it was the only car ALLOWED to navigate the part of the island where the hotel was located, only to be told that we could not stay in their facility with a child. We were told we could use their phone to try and find other accommodation, but that the architectural design of the room was not suitable for children under 12. So- having spent time and energy to arrive to their hotel, we were dismissed with no help or care, left in their ‘cave’ of a reception to fend for ourselves and find somewhere else to stay on a weekend in August. To top it off, when we asked for the managers name to be written for us so that we could share the details with our friends who booked the stay for us, we were told to ‘write it ourselves’. Such behavior coming from supposed professional staff, for a room that cost close to €1,000 a night (not that the price matters really, even for €50 it’s terrible) was something I could not have ever expected. We were simply in shock. Thankfully, we were able to find accommodations (due to a cancellation) at a wonderful small hotel that welcomed us, as I would not have chosen to spend another moment in a place like that. It makes me sad that this experience ate up so much of our lovely family time. I hope they do better in the future with other guests as this is the opposite of how we would ever treat our guests or expect to be treated.
The location, the rooms, the private beach, the pool was amazing!!!! It’s quite different from every thing else we saw in the island.
The breakfast was delicious but the dinner food was ok. I would expect more from their restaurant.
Only complaint were the pools were freezing like colder than the ocean itself
Stunning views from the remote location. Fabulous private beach. Rooms with private pools were great, beds were super comfy, staff were fabulous and so helpful. Infinity pool and cabanas were a great spot to spend the day, and with that gorgeous view! Free sauna session was lovely I was very scared about the road after reading reviews about how terrible it was, but it was fine- sure it was a bumpy and unsealed road, but we had no problems and it didn’t feel unsafe at all.
Would be good if they changed up the menu - same menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner got pretty boring, and it’s not like there are any restaurant options close by as an alternative. Sinks in the en suite were carved out of raw rock, so they look cool, but the water pools in the texture of the rock and so the sinks had a layer of slimy dirt, which was pretty gross. No bathrobes provided which was a shame. At first it’s a magnificent hotel, but if you look closer, the hotel doesn’t have a lot of attention to detail that a 5* hotel should have - paint all over the window frames, broken couch in the room, broken gym equipment broken, dirty sink etc. Wouldn’t want to stay more than 4-5 nights
I had the most incredible time in Milos Cove! The staff were so attentive and helpful. The room was also very comfortable, the food was so good, and the location is absolutely beautiful, there's nothing that compares to it. I also had a massage at their spa, the Obsidian, and it was amazing! Would definitely come again!
Beautiful resort !!! Very luxurious with amazing views !! Staff and the owner are very friendly & accommodating .
Far from basically everything, taxis are in my opinion a rip off , they should put hand towels in the public bathrooms …
This property is in an area far from any of the villages, restaurant areas and shopping. It is very hilly, and requires driving down dirt roads for an extended period of time to.access. There is no place to walk around unless you like climbing steep hills or taking a buggy everywhere. But if you want a place completely off the beaten path this is it. And the area above the beach cove is gorgeous. It is not a five star property in my opinion and the service was very hit and miss. There were numerous things in our room which did not work. And then just silly things like a dock to jump off to swim at the beach. But the ladder to get back up had been hijacked off a row boat and made getting back in way more difficult than necessary. There were many things at Milos Cove that were more difficult than necessary. Hopefully, they are just growing pains, because it certainly is one of the better places on the island to stay.
If you are looking for a bit of luxury peace and quiet this is the place! Secluded on the south east side of Milos, this place has it all! Great views, seclusion (20 min from airport) luxury suite/villas with private dipping pools, a secluded and private beach, large infinity pool on a cliff and great food and service, and did I mention a Spa… PS make sure to have a front wheel drive or AWD to get here.

The private beach is amazing. Very friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful setting. No problem getting there in a standard car. We rented an old Nissan micra. The food was great.
The sun sets on the other side of the island so the shade comes earlier than on the other side of the island. Not much the resort can do about that..
Milos Cove is an astonishly beautiful spot with incredible views that makes you feel at one with the remarkable location. The suites are extremely well put together with very comfortable beds and bedding, great bathrooms and a very relaxed minimalist feel; the service is very friendly and flawless and the food and drink is delicious. It was a real privilege to stay at this resort which is the realisation of the owner’s remarkable vision and money very well spent
Nothing
Wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and functional and we enjoyed using the plunge pool. The breakfast, restaurant, patio, pool, and private beach are all stunning. It was hard to leave!
We spent 2 nights at MILOS COVE during our 3 week vacation, where we stayed at other 5 star resorts throughout Greece including, Kivotos in Santorini, Kalesma in Mykonos, Acro Wellness Suites & Domus Renier in Crete, and King George in Athens. I would rate every other hotel a 5 star and MILOS COVE a 3 for these reasons. Arrival: We received information regarding the dirt road prior to arrival and rented an SUV. Regardless of this, it is VERY difficult to find the hotel with no road signs on treacherous one lane dirt roads. We did make a wrong turn and it took us over an hour to try to find our way using navigation which was not always updating due to service on the mountain. There should be signs directing guests to the hotel off of the main road and more direct instructions with a drawn map on how to get to the hotel. The golf cart guys are very friendly and helpful. The check in is AWFUL! We walked into a DARK sterile room and stood at a counter to check in. There was no offer for cold cloth, welcome drink, or comfortable place to sit. We then received a tour of the facilities which was fine, but quite honestly we just wanted to get to our room and relax. The room or the pool patio is where check in should be. The pool view is beautiful! The metal cabanas however are bad! They shake and make a constant annoying rattling noise that does not allow you to relax. The fact that the pool is only open when the lifeguard is there from 11:00-6:00 is ridiculous. No other pool opened at 11:00 or required a lifeguard to be there to use. It is an adult only resort?? The lifeguard and bartender at the pool were very friendly. The spa tour was weird, describing rooms to sit in and meditate. The gym is poor. Not much there and what equipment they have is old and beat up in a dark dungeon like room. The pool suite we had was not at all private. You can easily see into the rooms next door. There was a dirt road directly in front of the pool, ruining the view of the sea where staff drove. The suite itself is impractical and plain. No labels on any of the switches which we were constantly turning on all the wrong lights. The mini fridge has nothing in it but one bottle of water, which they promote as a special bonus you get each day. No snacks. No robes. No comforter, sheets only on the bed. The amenities are cheap Garnier. There is no counter space in the bathroom, the sink takes up every bit of the space. The shower leaks a large amount of water into the bathroom area. There is a sign on the beach towels telling you if you take them you will be charged $40 per towel - TACKY. A bottle of champaign was included in our package. After arrival we received a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and 2 worn out plastic glasses. We did not receive any other food treats as in every other hotel. No beach bag or hats, we did receive a string bracelet that was supposed to take away any bad feelings. The staff at the restaurant are unprofessional and unfriendly. One waitress brought dirty plates from another table and set them on mine to stack and remove my plate. The restaurant atmosphere is cold and just not comfortable. The food at breakfast was fine. We ate lunch only and it was ok. The location of the hotel is beautiful. Any place to eat or go is 30 min minimum, which we did not mind but you should be aware. We did really enjoy much of the rest of the island restaurants and sights. On a final note. Soon after booking the hotel and within the cancellation policy, I had to change my stay from 3 to 2 nights. The hotel would not refund the one night at that time stating they would keep my total balance and refund me what I did not use after the stay. I should have been refunded at the time of cancellation and billed extras on check out. When I did check out this became a hassle with reception having to make several phone calls and a 15 minute wait for me to get my credit. The hotel does have potential. There are just so many things that need to be fixed to make this a 5 star. I've noticed that anyone who negatively reviews MILOS COVE, is just met with excuses and criticism. This may be why improvements have not already been made.
DO NOT BOOK. Only worth ½ or even 1/3 of the price. Do not be misled by the pictures. Yes the view is wonderful, however where on Milos isn’t it? Read the Average, Poor, & Terrible reviews, everything said is true. A €70 or €80 fee to get here, or to leave to anywhere. The owner is perpetually sitting with a group of friends, chainsmoking. *The rooms are definitely not luxury, nor 5 star.* Hard to have privacy here, read the reviews. The food is good, but very expensive. Greece is the trip of a lifetime, your accommodations should ADD to the experience, not detract.
Remarkable property! Stunning and spacious accommodations, gorgeous design and decor, comfortable and private. Remarkable staff - smiling, friendly, personable and professional. Fantastic food, spectacular views, spotless and great facilities.
2 Days are not enough to relax in Milos Cove and for sure not enough to explore the island either.Next time we will stay 5 days at least.
Loved this resort
Overall location and cleanliness of resort . Friendly staff
Nothing
The construction is beautiful, the accessibility for all areas are great as well. We did not make use of all spa facilities, but they have such a great space for people that appreciate this. The pool side and bar is great. About the access to the resort, many people saying as a problem. The last 2.5 km is no more dificult than most beach accesses around the island. So if you have any trouble driving in non asphalted roads, do not go to Milos.
It is not resorts fault , but it would be amazing if the private beach was sandy not rocky.
The hotel grounds and room were beautiful and clean. The entire staff from front desk to restaurant to pool to everyone was super friendly, helpful and pleasant. They even golf cart you around to different areas at the resort you want. Service for anything requested is super fast. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.
Fantastic, beutiful location, awesome breakfast overlooking the infinity pool and the ocean. The friendliest staff who always greeted you with a smile and hello. The staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Special mention to Sakis and Stavroula!!! We would definetaly return and highly recommend.
NONE!
Secluded, far away from center, need a car to go back and forth (20 min and not paved for 2-3km at last); no services or restaurants nearby; if you are looking to be isolated it’s perfect if not it’s annoying to go back and forth to get out and about and explore beaches/restaurants/activities out of the complex. Plunge pool not ajustable temperature. Lights and faucets for shower complex to operate. Unique hotel and site. Pool is great. Would recommend if you want to be isolated and a relax vacation
The positives Amazing and relaxing stay, exceptional service and friendly staff, delicious food (try Eugene Levy's octapus.. wow!!), unique spa treatments and BREATHTAKING VIEW!
The negatives ΝΟΝΕ!I do not understand why so negative reviews for the road condition we managed it with our SMART car!
Views are exceptional. Hard to find a better view in the Cyclades.
In order to reach the property with no stress and/or car trouble you need a 4x4. The hotel said they sent an email informing us of this but we seem to have received no such email. Also this hotel is not a resort. It only has one restaurant and the gym is not up to par.
We loved our stay at Milos Cove. It was extremely relaxing and the food at the restaurant was excellent.
Beaufiful setting, great beach and pool
The staff had attitude problems and weren’t there to service as they should at a 5 star property
Our accommodation was a step into an unparalleled scenery ! Attentive staff welcomed us to the epitome of luxury ! We tasted delicious and well presented dishes, all blended with flavours and aromas harmoniously ! Breakfast on the edge of the rocks was exceptional ! Forever repeaters !
Nestled in the rocks ,Milos Cove merges the guest into the vast expanse of blue ! Breathtaking views of the Aegean and Coastal gems ,uplift the soul and mind ! The delightful dining experience should be highlighted as well as staff’s dedication to excellent service ! Designed with premium comforts whereas the fresh linen scent is spread every day in the room !
