Wonderful stay. Staff very friendly especially in the evening. Rooms are beautiful. Breakfast is served late - from 8am. Staff told us off for being 5 mins early. Pity as the evening before the staff were outstanding.

It was delightful. The bedrooms and breakfast was excellent and we felt very welcome. The staff were very helpful and obliging.

We could hear other guests and there were unpleasant strains on the carpet in the room for the venue.

The window latch was broken so we could not close it completely. There was a bit of noise from the nearby airport but was not too noticeable.

The room was lovely, perfectly clean and lots of attention to detail. The staff were helpful and friendly,we had dinner and breakfast here and both were lovely. We stayed as we were attending a wedding nearby and the location was brilliant.

The breakfast was amazing, proper coffee and small cafetiere in the room was a perfect touch.

Beautiful ensuite room, very clean and charming. Cookies and fresh ground coffee available in the room. Amazing fresh baked pizza's (2 for £20) Polly and Tess were AMAZING 👏 and made our stay.

Room cleaning was inconsistent, weekend staff were young and quite aloof/unattentive, Breakfast was also inconsistent, weekend was not hot and overcooked. Food and drinks prices were generally expensive, but seems to be the area not just this place.

We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff. Check in was smooth. The bedroom was perfect with some little touches which made it feel cosy and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern with a large walk in shower. The service throughout our stay was first class and food was delicious.

Good sized rooms. Very quiet, despite proximity to the airport. W had a nice evening meal with drinks but did not have breakfast. The Bed was comfortable. Shower room was a good size

It was not expected (it was not documented, but the accommodation would benefit from air conditioning, but that's not a negative. Some drawer in the room would make things easier.

Tiene mucho encanto, la habitación es muy bonita, grande y cómoda ( no hay aire acondicionado y con la ola de calor era demasiado calurosa, eso sí ) Hay hervidor y cafetera con leche fresca; el jabón, crema y champú son de buena calidad. Mi habitación daba a la terraza, agradable, bonita y animada sin ser molesta, al contrario. Atención a la comida aquí: buenísima, como los cócteles . Es muy buena opción si se quiere estar cerca del aeropuerto pero sin estar en esos hoteles tan fríos e impersonales. Y el personal fantástico

La falta de aire acondicionado pero se entiende porque es Inglaterra y el calor no ha sido habitual…me temo que eso está cambiando .

Frühstück fantastisch. Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Dusche hat den perfekten Wasserdruck. Sehr sauber und die Betten nicht durchgelegen.

Unser Zimmer war sehr laut - die Straße sehr laut zu hören. Das andere Zimmer war sehr ruhig, das sollte man beim buchen beachten.

Bar closed very early even though world cup football was on, which was bit disappointing. Also no Air Con didn't help.

Some of the best service i have ever had in the UK, comfortable bed with everything we needed including fresh coffee/cafetiere, fresh milk, fan to keep the room cool and even nice toiletries. We also had a fabulous meal in the beer garden! Really good value for money!

Came down for a function at the property, Food provided was really nice and the room was cosy and well equipped would stay there again if i was in the area and i would highly recommend as i never sleep well in hotel rooms however this one was so comfortable i slept really well

La habitación es realmente amplia, baño enorme. Cálida binevenida por el personal, amiente agradable en la terraza para cenar y tomar cervezas. Realmente la calidad relación - precio de lo mejor que hemos encontrado en nuestro viaje por Inglaterra. Hemos pagado muchísismo mas dinero por habitaciones enanas y menos confortables. Elegimos el hotel porque nuestro vuelo salía muy temprano desde Gatwick y fue un acierto. Cenamos unas pizzas buenas y cerveza, peto tenian cocina con platos elaborados con muy buena pinta. Tiene amplia terraza que en verano es un gran acierto. El aeropuerto esta a menos de 10 minutos en coche y el hotel está en una zona residencial muy tranquila.

Nos tocó un vecino de habitación realmente ruidoso, pero eso no puede controlarse..........es cuestión de educación de cada persona.

A fantastic stay just above a fantastic pub! We had a lively stay at the Old House Inn, renting the top bedroom above the beer garden. The room was spacious, clean and simply fantastic. We loved it as we had an early flight from Gatwick it was perfect for us.

Staff and owners were above and beyond kind! Property was even more beautiful than in the photos. The courtyard behind the pub and in front of the rooms was so cute and all the flowers smelled amazing. I wish we were there for more than one night. Breakfast was delish and although they don’t typically do desserts at breakfast we were celebrating my daughter’s 18th birthday the same day we left to the airport but they brought out a brownie and icecream! Staff stayed late to welcome us on arrival because our train was delayed and even helped us set up transportation to the airport the next morning. Would definitely stay again!

Very lovely place to stay, staff were amazing and the breakfast was superb, the room was stunning and we are definitely going to book to stay here again.

Lovely old fashioned country pub with a great bar and restaurant. Room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Very high quality coffee and tea were provided and the bar served a highly commendable selection of beer and wine. Food was excellent and there was plenty of parking. Wife was bowled over with how good this place was.

Schönes altes Pub in sehr guter Lage in der Nähe vom Flughafen Gatwick. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Zimmer schön eingerichtet, ein bequemes Bett und an sich recht komfortabel. Großer Parkplatz und ein sehr schöner Gastgarten.

Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist quasi nicht vorhanden, kaum Ablagefläche. Außerdem roch es in dem Zimmer etwas unangenehm.

Slow service & staff were generally disinterested & unhelpful.

Room was lovely spacious and comfortable. Bed was really comfortable slept really well. Good supply of Coffee etc and fresh milk. Great breakfast and had the Friday night Steak offer for 2 with wine which was really good too. Service was brilliant couldn't fault anything. We decided to stay 2 nights as had a wedding on the Saturday and long journey from home.

Perfect location for Gatwick. The staff accommodated our very late check in and early breakfast, and were extremely helpful and kind!

This hotel was a wonderful find - infinitely nicer than staying at Gatwick airport itself and every bit as convenient, being a two-minute drive from one of the long-term parking sites (Cophill).

A very nice room with good size bathroom and great shower. The pub is also a good place to have dinner. The food is very good and the staff very friendly. Excellent place to stay the night before flying out of Gatwick on an early flight- only a 10 minute drive to the terminal. Cheaper than many at Gatwick and easy if you do a meet and greet car pick up. Second time we have stayed here and will stay again.

You do hear the next door rooms, but not a lot they can do about that.

The room was excellent, modern, clean and comfortable. Lovely hotel, delicious food and great family friendly beer garden.

Der Flughafen ist sehr nah. Die Flugzeuge sind nicht zu überhören. Ohrenstopfen helfen 😁.

We had Dinner in evening which was good home cooked food with excellent breakfast / coffee in morning . Lovelly Old Pub with friendly staff .

The room was nice and location was great

We did not realise that there was an option for a first floor or ground floor room - so although the room was nice we had someone staying in the room above and they were up in the night so really noisy. You could hear everything! We also noticed that the gardens were extensive with an optional bar area right outside the rooms so if you stay in warm weather be prepared for a noisy late night! The food was not great - it was over cooked and really very poor value for money. I had monkfish tail and mussels and there was very little meat on the tail and over half the mussels had no mussels in them!

TV remote was not working. Staff could not fix it.

We were staying on Easter Sunday and were disappointed that there was no evening meal available.

The room was large and comfortable. Good amenities in the room. Breakfast was good quality and very tasty, the staff were fantastic and really make the place stand out. I look forward to staying again in the future.

Beautiful place to stay ! Fantastic staff, particularly Luke who has excellent customer service skills and went out of his way to help us. It was an extremely difficult time for us, as we were visiting for my brother's funeral. I couldn't fault the accommodation and would definitely stay again. The food was also delicious in the evening 😋. Thank you everyone for making our stay as easy as possible xx

Our room was called Stubbins on the 1st floor. Very spacious and very comfortable room. The bed was particularly comfortable. The room was spotless and well kept.9

The room, Stubbins, could have done with more storage space or drawers for clothing. The built in wardrobe/cupboard was ham packed with a folding occasional bed, ironing board and iron, leaving scant space for hanging a suit and jackets. The outside wooden staircase, although sturdy, could have done with a little TLC.

Loo not clean on arrival. Non functioning shower extractor fan. Only one wall socket. Early morning (6:30am) overhead wake up from planes taking off from nearby Gatwick Airport.

Firstly, all the staff were most welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Has a good carpark area with adjacent garden patios & lawn. We enjoyed both an evening meal and breakfast in the Inn/pub, adjoining the accommodation outbuilding. The menu choices for both meals were varied, food was well presented, tasty and very enjoyable, providing great value for money. The accommodation - room including ensuite, was very comfortable and well fitted out with facilities e.g. TV, radio, tea/coffee making equipment, iron & board and, suitcase stand.
