Reviewed May 6, 2026Our room was very large and had a great bathtub for two! We had a balcony overlooking the sea with lounge chairs (a little unusual to find in Taiwan!). The hotel was perfectly located for the early ferry to Lanyu Island the next morning and parking was easy.

Reviewed Dec 15, 2025Great spacious (crazy spacious for Taiwan!) room with tall celings, very clean, nice and comfortable, and it smelled really nice. The hotel is just 10 min drive from Flowing water lake and Taitung city area. Staff assisted us with late night check-in, it went super smoothly despite us arriving at 2 am. I was a little worried when I received the message with all their rules concerning pets but honestly we follow those rules anyway (other hotels just might not state them specifically). There's a 7-11 really close by.
We were in the room facing the road. Sound proofing for the outside noise was fine, but the sounds from inside the hotel (other guests) were quite audible through the door and made my dog nervous and barky :( Ocean is not accessible, no beach, just a wall and then wave breakers, so no option for taking your dog for walks to the beach (not the hotel's responsibility of course, just putting it out here for other guests!) Everything else was great!

Reviewed Aug 8, 2025

Reviewed Mar 23, 2024Near the sea, nice sea and mountain view. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Since the location is remote, would have been better if bicycles can be rented or borrowed. Mountain view rooms are noisy throughout the day and night due to vehicle traffic.

Reviewed Dec 13, 2023The view from the room was amazing. Love the large bathtub/ shower. The staff was so friendly and helpful. There was no breakfast so I'm not sure why it said it was a B&B? Maybe the wrong time of year?

Reviewed Sep 7, 2018The ocean views are gorgeous. We love the big windows which allow you the overlook the Pacific Ocean from your room!!! The hotel is just 2 mins away from the port by driving. The breakfast can be delivered to your room by 6:30. Thus, It’s a good place to stay if you need to catch the earliest ferry to Orchid island the next day.
