Great location. Staff went above and beyond for us, nothing was a hassle. Yanti is amazing! We had dinner prepared for us in the villa and it was fantastic. The bigger villa wasn’t being used during our stay so they opened it up for us to use the bigger pool. That was great even though our pool was perfect. Highly recommend this property

The staff were pleasant.

I would not stay here again for many reasons including an exposed and outdoor "en-suite", creatures in our villa, dated decor and an unsafe location. When I book anything I check reviews thoroughly. It's unclear to me why the reviews for this location are so high and my experience was quite the opposite. Very disappointing. For the 2 bedroom villa, "en-suite" was outside and fully exposed from the bedroom. This means if you want to use the bathroom you will be OUTSIDE and you must lock the ROOM door. Not practical given the bedroom has enough beds to sleep 3 people, at least. The last day we had a mess on the floor and table. We saw a creature that resembled a cat, but wasn't a cat. Upon reaching out to the property we were told it was likely a cat. Later on we were told it was due to "fruit" bats (?). Cats, bats or a cat-in-a-hat. Not something I wanted to be dealing with on vacation. The pictures make the villa look really sleek. It is old. The pool water is cold. Again, not what I was expecting. Finally, getting to and from this location requires walking through alleys. At night, they are not lit. It is quite unsafe to get in and out of given the dark, tight alleys and constant motorbike traffic. If I were to visit Seminyak again, I would easily pay 2x or 3x what I paid here to stay on the beach. I visited the beach and saw the hotels there. A much better option.

The position was great. Although it is a small dark street to get to it. The staff were exceptional and so friendly. They keep the place spotless. The property itself was beautiful and made our trip perfect!

The layout was perfect for parents or partners and the kids in separate bedrooms around the pool. The staff were very attentive and helpful. They did traditional balinese dinner and breakfast if pre ordered.

We have loved staying at Villa Elleo, it is an Oasis of calm in Seminyak. The planting is beautifully curated and both pools are lovely. We were 3 families with kids ranging from 5-16 staying and used all the rooms which were beautiful, comfortable, clean and with fantastic bathrooms. The communal areas are great for getting together, chatting and playing games. The staff Yanti, Nyoman, Made and Kadek our security guard are so friendly and helpful and worked very hard to make our stay feel special and perfect. They had great suggestions for things to do, day trips and places to eat as well as providing a delicious breakfast that was received well by all. They were very helpful and couldn't do enough despite the chaos of 3 families with children. We had issues with our flight being cancelled and Yanti, Nyoman and Kadek were so kind and helpful and reassuring, they made a potentially stressful time much more manageable and turned it into a highlight, standout day with their suggestions on how to fill the day and please our kids of various ages (something for everyone) and organising drivers. We chatted with and met the owner who was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Everyone went above and beyond what we would expect at a villa.

Yanti and the team look after you! Central location, the villa is so spacious as we were travelling with teens and young adults this was important. Had 2 pools both clean and lovely, some days we just hung by the pool, had cleaners everyday and security at night. It was a birthday gathering for the family and we loved it without being crowded, walk to many restaurants and clubs the location was excellent. There is space to store a bike too.

Our stay at Villa Elleo in Seminyak was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional service that made our family feel right at home. A cake and birthday decorations were waiting for us on arrival! Each day, a dedicated family member took care of all our needs, ensuring we had everything we wanted and more. The level of attention to detail and the care they provided truly made the experience memorable. To top it off, we were generously upgraded by the Villa owner into a larger 5-bedroom villa with a massive swimming pool that was perfect for both relaxation and play. The pool was so expansive, and the highlight for the kids was when the team brought in three turtles so they could swim alongside them. It was such a thoughtful and fun touch, making the whole experience even more magical. The location of the villa was also fantastic. Situated in a local part of Seminyak, it was close to everything we wanted to explore—shops, restaurants, and the beach. Despite being close to the action, the villa itself felt like a tranquil oasis, offering a perfect balance of privacy and convenience. A special mention goes to Yanti, who is not only an incredible host but also a talented chef. She prepared a banquet that was nothing short of amazing, and the meals were always a highlight of our day. On our last morning, she surprised us with the most delicious banana pancakes, which were absolutely divine. We also really enjoyed the Villas owners who took time out of their day to pop in and say hi! Overall, our stay at Villa Elleo was an unforgettable experience. The combination of incredible service, a beautiful villa, and thoughtful touches like the turtles made it an ideal family retreat. I would return again and again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

A lovely villa in a great and quiet location. Just a few minutes walk from many cafes/restaurants. The villa staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend this villa to stay in.

Amazing villa with everything you need. Clean rooms with lots of space, every room feels like a home. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The living room is terrific and we could hang out there together and play cards etc. The pool was amazing - clean and perfect temperature. The villa is located close to all restaurants/cafes and with a short walk to the beach. The staff and the owner were service minded, super kind and very helpful. They all helped us more than what can be expected and from the seven places we stayed at during our trip in Indonesia they were for sure the best. I can highly recommend Villa Elleo!

The location of the villa was perfect for the 3 of us, and an easy walk to some very nice restaurants and cafes. We have stayed in Seminyak on several past trips, but this was the nicest villa we have stayed in, and the location was perfect. The villa staff were very helpful and attentive. Only wish we'd stayed longer. We will definitely be booking this villa on our next trip to Bali, and will be recommending this place to our friends.

This Villa was an amazing oasis in central Seminyak, perfect for a large family group of 14 with adults and kids. The rooms were beautiful, all with ensuite bathrooms. The 2 pools were great and the communal facilities and layout allowed us to all be together for meals or games when we wanted but allowed quiet time when needed too. The decoration & layout is done beautifully. The location is in the heart of Seminyak so everything is close by. The Villa can be rented by smaller groups as it consists of 2 bed and a 4 bed Villas that connect. The communication with the owner pre and post arrival was quick and very helpful and the team assisting in the Villa were also great. They provided a breakfast on a morning of our stay which was spectacular! We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 5 stayed at the 2-Bedroom villa at Villa Elleo from the 26th to the 29th of June 2024 on our first ever visit to Bali. From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out, we could not fault a single thing. The villa was beyond my expectations. The staff are exceptional - Yanti, Neoman, Made and Kedak made sure we were happy with our stay. They made us a wonderful breakfast on day 2 and helped us with recommendations for restaurants, shopping and money changing places. They even connected us with our lovely driver Wayan. The villa owner Jerry was very hospitable and came in to say Hi to us every day. What we loved about the location was that it was in a very quiet street but just a two minute walk to the main road. It was convenient to walk to Seminyak Square, and just a 20-minute stroll to Pettitenget and Seminyak beaches. Would recommend anyone visiting Seminyak to stay at Villa Elleo, and we hope to stay here again on our next visit to Bali.

Very nice, confortable house in a quiet but also very central neighbourhood. The staff were more than helpful and gave us all the necessary assistance so that everything went smoothly during our short period at Villa Ellio! I would definitely go back!

Our trip to Seminyak was wonderful because of the care and attention of the amazing staff - Yanti, Nyoman, Made and Kadek. We felt well taken care of and valued customers. The facilities met our needs perfectly and the private banquette at the villa for our group was something special.

The property managers/cleaners were very kind and diligent. The owner kindly upgraded us and allowed us to use an extra room for my sick mother in law. The location was fantastic, the property was beautiful.

The swimming pool, although large, deep and beautiful had an acidic smell and made your skin sting, and gave my daughter a rash. Which meant we really couldn't enjoy the pool at all during our stay. The poor hardworking pool cleaner said that due to the design of the thatched roof over-hanging the pool, every time it rained (and it was rainy season so every day) it would wash the dirt and bacteria into the pool. Such a pity.

The location was amazing. It’s right in the greenest part of Seminyak, close to shops, bars, restaurants and spas. The staff are friendly, highly reliable and will play traditional music for you and cook the most amazing dishes and give you different choices. The villas are devine. The rooms are big. The beds are comfortable. The aircon is perfect. The showers heat up quick which is important. They have absolutely everything you need and the place is immaculate. The way it is set up means you gan have groups or smaller parties and everyone will be comfortable. And if the people make the place the staff are just amazing. The house keepers, the security guard and the owners. Perfect communication and really you cannot fault these guys. They’ve thought of everything. I’ll be back with a bigger group and for longer.

I didn’t like the fact I had to travel to the next place. I didn’t want to leave.

Concern about mosquitoes with open bathrooms

We stayed in the smaller two bedroom villa that seems more newly renovated. It was absolutely beautiful. It had all the amenities that we need. The kitchen was well equipped should we have wanted to cook. There was an abundant supply of fresh drinking water, mosquito repellent and even a blue tooth speaker which was a very nice touch. The pool is beautiful, and a very spacious outdoor living space. Great location close to shops but also tucked away down a quiet street.

The staff we so accommodating and lovely, however we found this is be a little intrusive as they had access to come into the villa whenever they pleased. Whilst their intentions were good, it was a little too much. For example, coming in to turn our lights on of an evening. After several instances of them letting themselves in, we found ourselves a little on edge waiting for them a barge in at anytime. We sent Jerry a message to let him know we would like a little more privacy and to please not have anyone come into the villa, and this message was received and respected. The villa next door is a double story and one of the rooms overlooks directly into the one we stayed in. We were told no one is staying in the room (and I assume the people staying in there did not have access to it) however, if this was occupied it would be very uncomfortable. The bed is on the firm side for my liking, however this is a personal preference. Overall, I still rate the villa 5 stars and would highly recommend.

Everything was great

It was a wonderful place. The owner was so courteous, as there was some work that was done in the swimming pool, so he offered us a complimentary ride for a day. The place is perfect for a group to spend quality time together and also to explore the places nearby as the location is central to some amazing restaurants and cafes Highly Recommended.

Fabulous owner and incredible security team. A lovely safe villa in a great location to access some great restaurants, cafes, taxis etc. Wonderful laundry across the street and a great pizza shop within 3 minutes walk! The mosquito coils kept the bugs at bay nicely in the outdoor bathroom too!

The only thing that could be improved was that it felt like the cleaners were always in the room. They didn’t knock and would just arrive in the living area. Felt a little weird, lucky it was a week with friends, not a honeymoon!

Breakfast on day one was at a great little local cafe around the corner. We did have the Villa Breakfast on the last day which was superb.

The Villa is clean, beautiful and very inviting. The beds are big and comfortable and sheets changed every 3 days. The staff Yanti, sister & Nyoman, are welcoming and accommodating. They were able to attend to all our requests and always friendly. The pool is very clean and the surrounding garden beautifully maintained. The security staff and driver Made, were all reliable and helpful. The owner was friendly and his recommendations of local restaurants and bars was spot on, we throughly enjoyed the meals at Batic (chicken with cashews) and Chai'ba street kitchen and bar. The location is waking distance to shops and restaurants. Shelter cafe for our morning breakfast and coffee was a favourite and The Corner House has an amazing atmosphere, great food, music & cheerful welcoming staff. Although close, the villa is still very quiet and tranquil.

The best stay of our whole Indonesia Trip. The Villa Elleo team was highly cooperative. Full marks in hospitality. We had lot of extra demands besides just the stay. We asked to prepare the villa for surprise birthday celebrations, including decorations, drinks, cake, floating breakfast etc and all was done specifically as per our requirements without even asking any advance payments. The ambience was great and the amenities were as listed in the property. It was just as shown in the pictures. It is perfect for families, couples or bachelors gathering. Surely, this will be the goto place for me whenever I steps in Bali. Additionally, we requested late checkout as our return flight was in evening and it got considered without any additional charges. Highly recommended.

Amazing location. No more than a 10 minute walk to Seminyak Square. The staff there were so beautiful and accommodating. Spacious rooms with air con and you get enough sun during the days. Will definitely go back there!!

Need to be very clear what you expect from the villa staff. They would stick around for the full day disturbing the privacy for no reason.

Our stay at Villa Elleo was outstanding. The standard of the facilities was all we could have hoped for but the the most pivotal aspect of our enjoyment was the quality of the staff. Nothing was too much effort for our wonderful hosts. All pre-arrival preparations were handled professionally and in friendly manner. On arrival the true warmth of Balinese hospitality was encountered with genuine smiles, competent service and friendliness. The discretion of staff, both domestic and security, was also greatly appreciated as they went about their duties, allowing a family reunion with members from around the world to enjoy every moment of our stay.

The villa was so beautiful and well equipped with amenities. The pool is a salt water one which is gentler than traditional chlorinated ones so we had no issues letting our baby swim in it. The rooms were spacious and clean with powerful air conditioning. They also provided us with a baby cot and chair. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our chats with them. The owner also dropped by for a short greeting and gave us his mobile number to contact him anytime. There is a security guard stationed at the villa 24/7 so we felt really safe the whole time.

Nice location. It’s an attractive property with comfortable beds. The pool is very nice and the owners have made plenty of effort with planting and decoration. The owner was on hand to ask if there was anything extra he could do to improve our stay.

The Villa was situated in friendly and safe location and not so far from party locations. The amenities, cleanliness and aesthetics of the stay were top-notch. The care-taker was readily available and very friendly.

The comfortable beds, the beautifully thatched roof, the saltwater pool. But especially, the warmth of the owners, Jerry and Sharn, and the staff, Pak Nyoman and Ibu Made. Our students LOVE LOVE LOVE the vibe. They send their love and gratitude to all...I am sure they will return here one day!

More like things that I am sure will change sooner or later, such as the electric water kettles that need a thorough scrubbing or replacements.

The interiors were fun and stylish with a very definite Balinese twist. We really enjoyed the indoor outdoor living especially the pool. The location was easily accessible to all the restaurants and retail stores. The highlight was spending time with the kind and extremely talented staff who are enchanting hosts.

Gem of a place in Seminyak, great location off the main street but very close to all shops. Very well maintained property. Very thoughtful and helpful staff. Yanti and Nyoman was great help with booking transport and any help you need. The owner is great to communicate with. Overall fantastic experience , will definitely stay with them again.

A beautifully decorated and equipped villa, everything you could wish for. All international electrical sockets which was so convenient! The staff, drivers and owners were all so helpful and accommodating.
