Evila Inn - Thoddoo

really friendly, good hotel for the money, great breakfast

Beds were hard

Staying at your gesthouse was excellent. The room are cleaned everyday, towels was changed very often. We were during crisis on Middle East, they allowed us to extend pir stay with a normal price. Stuff are very helpful. They even bought a babe seat for bicycle to make out stay comfortable. They offer a free bicycle and towels beach. Breakfast everyday was same but was delicious - we do not complain- we stay over a week. They arrange for us everything. Dinner prepared for us was a nice supriced an was delicious as well.

Obsługa była wspaniała, pokoje czyste i codzienne sprzątane. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Śniadania proste ale smaczne. Można zamówić w restauracji lunch albo kolację - bardzo smaczne w dobrej cenie :)

Kameralny hotel z uprzejmą i pomocną obsługą. Dogodna lokalizacja, cisza i spokój.

.

Good location, 10 minute walk to the beach. Hot shower, breakfast was simple but nice.

The bikes supplied by the hotel for getting around the island are extremely dangerous and need replacing. The entire hotel was told to leave and move to another hotel, meaning we had two hours of our last day spent unnecessarily packing and moving.

The accommodation was very nice, the room was spacious, clean, beds very wide and comfortable and each room has it's own terrace, where you can sit and where you can dry your swimsuits etc. It looks like nice garden, when you enter the villa. The staff was willing to help us with anything we needed, they ordered a trolley to take our baggages from and to the harbour, they arranged our transfer to the airport and helped us with the trips. Accommodation is close to the sunset beach (which we liked more), you can borrow bicycles in the villa, so any place on the island is then easily accessible. We also liked breakfasts,l and appreciated that the villa has its own restaurant where you can order meal even if you don't have half board or full board. The supermarket is directly across the street, which is also comfortable. I recommend this accommodation.

Staff is very kind!

Noise from another aparments

A friendly owner - a beautiful and professional young lady. Amazing garden with wonderful plants. Rooms are quite good. Close to Bikini beach. Highly recommended!

We loved everything, it's more than we imagined after reading the reviews already written about! We really wanted to stay here and it was extraordinary - from the beach (close to the west beach, close to the village, shops, port, especially with the free bikes! Shaanaa, the owner of the hotel, despite her young age, is doing extremely well, managing the hotel, being present at all times and demonstrating great human qualities in no time! I have witnessed some situations in which he gave us some lessons about kindness and earned our admiration and respect even more! The hotel is intimate, the rooms are very large, with their own terrace with a table and chairs, a hanger, the inner courtyard is full of flowers, trees, everything is extremely clean! Meals are served on the terrace of the restaurant (or inside if you wish), the fans cool you down if it's too hot, there is a place where you can serve tea, coffee, water, anytime! The room is equipped with AC, TV, wardrobe, bedside tables, desk, the bathroom is very spacious, with an outdoor shower (like Bali), hot water, everything is perfect! In the room you have a kettle for water, mugs, tea, instant coffee, drinking water in glass bottles, which can be filled daily or on request, at any time! We had full board and the food was extraordinary, we ate a lot of fish, tuna cooked in many ways, salads, rice cooked in many ways, soups, fresh fruit and fruit at every meal, something incredibly good! We were asked if we have allergies or if we don't eat certain types of food, to know what will be cooked for us! Everything was extraordinary, beyond expectations and we are glad that we managed to find the room for our stay in Thoddoo, because this is exactly where we wanted to stay! Thank you very much for everything, all the best!

There is no such thing

-Clean rooms, stable WiFi connection. -Private bathroom and it was very clean. -Room had fridge & hair dryer -The staff is very friendly and helps you whenever you need -Excellent breakfast, you also get a diferent juice everyday and different fruits too. -You can rent a bike for free from outside the property.

-No cons, everything was very good.

Good breakfast, but please put less sugar into drinks). Cozy yard. The service of our manager Chandani was perfect. She could solve all our questions. Thanks a lot.

Great location, hospitality, and vibe. The deluxe room has a pretty nice patio surrounded by beautiful plants. Very helpful staff that organized everything smoothly. Fast communication and checkin. Fast internet 32Mpbs. Comfy bed and clean bathroom. Great value 4 money.

Nothing. I hope the island vibe will not be affected by the accelerated construction.

Everything was very good, the food in the restaurant, the room, the beach, the personell, we were very satisfied and recommend this location

Very good place to stay

The room and bath room is gorgeous, specially I like the fact that there is an open area in bath room. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. One of the best I ever stayed Thank you for the great service and hospitality

Nil

Everything was great, the personel was helpful and nice. Room was clean, big with a cool bathroom. The location was very good, you can rent a book for 5$ per person and the snorkelling equipment is free. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in my whole trip to Maldives as well as the hotel.

Good location, center of the island, 10 min walk to the amazing beach. Hotel team very hospitality, they are trying to do the best, just to say what you need. We take lunch and dinner in the hotel and ask what we would like to eat. Simple, healthy and fresh meal, always fruits. I really recommend to stay here. It’s a best place for this money

Good central location near restaurants, groceries and also not far from the bikini beach (7 min walking). Relatively large room and a nice, although basic bathroom. A nice terrace in front of each room. A really nice central garden making the heat more bearable.

I missed some table or a dresser in the room to leave things on it. Also, the mattresses were a bit thin and hard.

Nice bathroom, open ceiling.

Most of the staff does not speak English. Could not get more toilet papers, because nobody was at the property. The owner is nice, but the two young girls were kind of weird. The bikes are very rusty. They had to cut the chain off it, they couldn’t find the key. The bed is rock hard, it is like sleeping on the floor!

A very beautiful place and the best location of the hotel, close to the beach! The room has everything you need, beautiful grounds, excellent breakfast, do not stay hungry, masks and bicycles are also provided free of charge. We met and conducted Shaanaa and Fawwaz, the staff of Thin and Phoo were responsive, polite, cooked breakfast, well done. Thank you for the birthday greetings, it's a pleasure! They also presented a plate of pappai. A transfer was arranged. A lunchbox was prepared at the eviction! I hope to see you again!

Good place in Thoddoo

Wifi is weak

I've enjoyed a breath-taking emerald lagoon and snorkeling with turtle family. Snorkeling tool can be provided for free. Wanna visit again this accommodation~~~~~~~

Spacious Rooms. Kind staff

The people are very kind, although the english of resident people is limited. But it's a great guesthouse to spend some days in this magnificient island of Thoddoo. Is not too close to the mosque, so you hardly can hear the praying in middle of the night, and in terms of overall conditions is create. The great plus is the availability of Bycicles, making it easy to go around the island, is either for going to the beach, or enjoying one of the several good restaurants, or just to go around.

Just an area of improvement is related to the bycicles, a little bit of mainteance and check-up on all of them would be appreciated.

The rooms were simple but comfortable, hot showers and good WiFi were a big plus too. We could rent bikes (when available) and swimming equipment for free. The owner's daughter spoke very good English and was very kind and helpful. My luggage got lost on the way to Male and she helped get in delivered to the hotel once it arrived in Male 3 days later. The common area/patio was full of lush greenery and well cared for. Close to bikini beach.

The two girls employed there were rather lazy and spent most of their time behind the reception desk on their phones. We stayed there 6 nights and the rooms were cleaned once! We wanted to have our towels changed and left them on the floor and still they were not changed, just put back on the towel rack. We had to explicitly ask to get them changed. We even cleaned our terraces ourselves from sand and leaves after the heavy rain because the two girls were too busy on their phones to do their daily cleaning rounds. Not sure what their job is there.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, as shown in the pictures. The two ladies working there were very nice and polite. Big and spacious room, with very big bed and toilet. Free coffee in the room, which had a fridge and kettle. Small and cosy and very well located for the sunrise and sunset beaches.

Nothing!

Nice and hopeful personel. Clean rooms. You can rent bikes and diving masks for free. Beautiful place 🙂

It is close to the beach, they offer bycicles and snorkerling equipment for free, they have a nice garden, they offer free transport from and to the speed boat and they where very nice to us. They broomed the room and took the trash out every day.

The breakfast was poor, it should be improved. The room has old furniture, and it is not very practical. The personal was hard to find when you need them. They should change the towels more often. Wifii is not working at all. Overall, our stay was nice and confortable, but they should improve some things there.

We absolutely loved how cozy and beautiful this place is! There’s a nice garden area where you have breakfast and every room has its own patio. Although there is nothing much to say about streets in Thoddoo, even the street view where the guesthouse is located is lovely. Location is perfect, very close to large bikini beach (we liked the small one better though) and plantations. Ohh and they serve best Maldivian breakfast that we have tried! Thank you Ms. Shaana and your team!

Nothing!

Perfect place on Thoddoo with really good stuff and very good service. Second time we come here with whole family, and it's the best place on Thoddoo. Breakfast is very good and big portion, rooms are quite and cute, good air-conditioning. Very good bed, perfect sleep. WiFi is really good for Maldives they have repeaters on whole territory. Stuff is amazing, really love to stay here, it's our family hotel on Thoddoo.

🙏🏼

Clean Comfortable Free rental bike Also they have equipment for snorkeling for free Filtered water Pick up from ferry

we stayed in the room for 8 nights and took all inclusive. did not regret! Shaanaa and Gufran went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I definitely recommend this place and will recommend to my friends. great, fins, masks were free to use. she could wash clothes, ask for something to know about the island, call somewhere. Thanks a lot!!!

everything was enough

The hosts are wonderful, very kind and helpful. Water is available all the time for free. Grilled reef fish is very tasty. Breakfast is also tasty, fresh juice, fruit and some local food.

We really liked the service of the guest house. I got burned on the beach and felt bad. The guys from the guest house helped me get back on my feet by giving me freshly cut aloe. It was very kind of them. There was also a national musical program with a free dinner. By the way, yes, they like to feed for free, it's very cool.

In general, for such a price, there are no comments. Thank you, Evila Inn.

The staff was very nice. The room is spacious and clean. Free bicycles, free snorkel equipment, wifi. The transfer was organized well

The all inclusive regime is not like in other countries. I paid quite a lot for all inclusive and I didn't have it. They offered us food 3 times a day. The morning was a buffet, but you didn't really have much to choose from. Lunch and dinner were not buffet style. You couldn't choose what you eat or how much you eat. For drinks, I only had unlimited water. In the morning you had unlimited juice. At lunch and dinner they served you with a glass of juice and that was it. If I will return to this location, I will not take all inclusive

todo en general.

Hospitality was great. Shanna took care about everything. You can order meals on time you wish. Bicycles are available and they are free. If I go next time to Thoddoo definityvly I choose this place. The guesthose is placed 5 min walk from the beach. There is small taras so it is big advantage of the place.

Hospitality, cleanness, ,

nothing, a bit in distance from beach - however they offer bike

Very nice staff. Good breakfast. Free bikes. This hotel is near the beach. Big size of room, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. I'm very glad that I chose this hotel for my vacation. Thanks for hospitality 🙏🏼

staff was super amazing, nice and polite, room was good, clean, bathroom big and spacious. good value for this money, actually breakfast was continental and fruits was so juicy and freshly

nothing

We loved everything about Evila Inn. Location - central with free bicycles allowing us to easily reach both Sunrise and Sunset Beach. Good beds, good AC, loved the open shower. Excellent breakfast The place is quiet and has beautiful well maintained plants. The hosts did everything to make us feel at home - helped with laundry, transfer from port, packed breakfasts in the last day. Always smiling :) A very big thank you, would love to return here.

Quiet hotel, clean rooms. There are bicycles for free to go to the beach. Breakfast is OK, not so much choice, but it enough to be full. Very good option for this price.

There was no proper safety deposit box, so if it is necessary for you take it in mind. Internet is very slow in the rooms, so if you intend to work, it could be problematic. But they said they are changing the internet package and it will be better soon 🙂.

Everything was nice, simple and clean. Nice location and very quite surrounding. Shaana and her husband were super helpful with everything we wanted, always did the best so we enjoy our stay to the maximum! Plus they are very sweet and positive people:) We are coming back for sure !

Everything was good, no complaints

Everything, especially the hospitality. The breakfast was very good!

Everything was super. Very warm welcome. Welcome coco dring. Decoration on bed. Hosts are extrem friendly. They are able to help any time :) They provide bycicles. It is easy to move on the Island. If I would be able. I give 100 stars :)))) Thanks for hospitality ;))))

No negative. Everything was hyper - super FULL :)))

Very kind staff, they made us feel welcome. Great rooms and a really amazing bathroom!! Also the guesthouse is very close to the beach and is right across from a nice store, where you can buy everything you need.. You get bikes for free and can cycle around the island.. we really enjoyed our honeymoon here :)

I liked everything :)

We were staying at Deluxe room: the room is fresh and clean, it has a tropical shower and big comfortable bed with two blankets. The AC is located not above the bed so there is no chance to catch cold. The breakfast is amazing and includes both Maldivian and continental breakfast at once while in other guesthouses you will have to choose only one of them. Breakfast time is from 7-30 till 9-30. The hotel provides snorkeling equipment and bicycles for free. Bicycle is must have on the island because it allows you to reach any point within 5-7min. Most of hotels charge for bicycle $3-5 per day. The location is close to the bikini beach. There is a supermarket on the opposite side of the hotel and it is open till 10pm. The staff is very friendly and nice, they can arrange a transfer from the port or from Male. This place is definitely worth its price, hope to get here soon again.

There were some short period troubles with WiFi network

Extremely kind and toughtful staff

I really liked this guesthouse, especially yummy breakfasts, nice personnel and beautiful view. Also we borrowed bicycles and swimming flippers there, they are free of charge. The manager of this guesthouse, Abrahim, is really helpful and the nicest guy :) Strongly recommend this guesthouse!

Evila inn is a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place nearest to the beach. Transfer to the island and back was well organized. Breakfast is great and tasty food avaliable from the Menu for cheaper prices. Room is cozy, comfortable bed, TV, air conditioning with requested room service. Staffs are polite and attentive. free bikes, snorkeling mask and fins available. We definitely recommend 100%.
