Beds are very comfy and breakfast was lovely spread Friendly and welcoming owners who let us leave our car at the property the morning after we stayed while we explored Cashel. Highly reccomend and will be back if we are ever in the area again.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Explicaré mi experiencia con este alojamiento punto por punto, porque el detalle es lo importante. Nosotros teníamos que hacer checkin a las 15, pero, por un problema que tengo en la espalda, en mi alojamiento anterior, dormí muy mal, y tuvimos que adelantar ir a Cashel para poderme tumbar. Cuando reservo alojamientos, busco camas cómodas y grandes, por mi problema de espalda, este alojamiento contaba con una habitación con cama King Size por lo que pagamos en la reserva su precio para poder acceder a dicha habitación. Como necesitaba tumbarme, hablé con ellos y me dijeron que no era un problema hacer el check-in antes. 1 punto por ellos. Al llegar, nos dieron una habitación claramente inferior y cuando fuimos a quejarnos, las señora nos dijo que la grande estaba deshabilitada por problemas en el baño. Nos ofreció cambiárnosla a una que tuviera camas individuales grandes, que pare mi espalda ya era suficiente. El problema que vimos aquí, que fue lo que nos enfadó, fue que no nos indicaron desde el primer momento que nos iban a cambiar de habitación, ni nos ofrecieran devolvernos dinero. Es verdad que, al día siguiente, la señora se preocupó mucho por mi estado de salud, por suerte la habitación era comodísima y pude descansar muy bien, y se ofreció a devolvernos parte del coste de la reserva para compensar el exceso por una habitación inferior. Igualmente, esto nos generó mucho ruido. Creo que la señora pudo equivocarse al no avisarnos con antelación del downgrade de habitación, pese a que luego lo corrigiera. Por lo demás destacar que la habitación estaba muy limpiar y era muy cómoda. La ubicación es tranquila y junto a Rock of Cashel. Recomiendo este alojamiento.
Además del incidente con las habitaciones, el desayuno era un poco pobre, aunque estaba bueno (tostadas, algo de embutido, fruta y mermeladas). Al marcharnos vimos que existía la posibilidad de hacerse huevos duros, pero lo sentimos un poco escondido y sin información de cómo usar el aparato para cocerlos (en España no son habituales esos aparatos)

My daugther loved the fluffy extra blankets which made her bed even cozier. I would go back there without hesitation.

The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and once the ceiling window was open, was nice and cool in the heat of the summer. My room rate did not have breakfast included, so I cannot comment on the breakfast or other facilities than the room.

The lodge owners were a delight and super helpful to us. We have some dietary restrictions, and they served us a great breakfast that we could eat. I highly recommend this place!
