ANA Crowne Plaza Akita by IHG

The hotel is very close to Akita Station, and it's a 5-minute walk to Senshu Park and the Akita Museum of Art, both important destinations in the city. There are a lot of shops, at least two malls, and many restaurants nearby as well. The room was spacious and well-equipped. If you can, order the breakfast: a wonderful experience on the top floor of the building, with a beautiful view! The staff was friendly, the hotel lively, as it hosts banquets and other programs for locals and tourists alike, with its own restaurant and bar etc.

No problems at all.

Tres bonne literie, hotel tres bien situe et renove. Excellent petit dejeuner

Rien

Niks!

Good location, short walk from the train station. Good breakfast. Nice view from the restaurant situated on the top floor.

Location was perfect and the staff excelled in service ,the breakfast was exceptional.

Breakfast was good (by comparison to other Japanese business hotels).

I had higher expectations from Ana Crowne, but this time it was quite underwhelming. No room service after 10 pm (although it did say 24h), empty fridge, not even a bottle of water provided in the room. No reading light either.

It's location, hotel, convenience,lots of shopping around. , it's beauty 😍

Close to the train station and shopping. Very convenient

Frontage was cramped for loading and unloading luggage. Not convenient for cars to pick up or drop guests.

Sehr sauber. Personal extrem freundlich.

Nichts

Clean room and comfortable bed (relatively hard) Great location Breakfast worth the price - has a great veriaty of Japanese (and Western) breakfast dishes Friendly staff

The whole room feels a bit old, especially the bathroom style. But it's clean so I don't really mind.

Room was very spacious. Hotel was a short walk from the station. Appreciated the daily drink in the morning.

Quite roomy

No exhaust fan in the bathroom 😔

Everything. Proximity to train station, major attractions, shopping, excellent buffet, and more.

The size of the room was good. Great location for Akita.

Overall, a bit weathered and dusty.

Great location, very close to the station. Room size is good, bed size is quite decent. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. Good facility. Room is very clean.

Bed is a bit hard and uncomfortable.

Everything! Thank you 😊

The room card doesn't have room number. I forgot what was the room number and accidentally applied the card to wrong room. It would be nice to write down the room number on the card.

Convenient to station and Akita sightseeing. Staff was extremely helpful.

Good location and even though the bed was against the wall you could squeeze your way in. At least the rest of the room was an adequate size After asking about the lack of heating they did provide a plug in radiator

The second day we were there, it was cold and raining and there was no heat. After asking at the front desk a couple of times, they said since the weather had fluctuated only air conditioning was available in the rooms. The hallways and lobby were warm so it was hard to understand their response The controls for the washlet would not allow for heated seats or warm water but the restrooms in the lobby allowed it

We booked the club room. The room was spacious & very well appointed. Very comfortable bed & great pillows. The amenities were very good. The service was excellent . 4 minute walk to the JR Station

Nothing, it was an excellent place to stay

Location and staff

The room smelled terrible. From the moment we opened the door, there was a strong odor. We were too tired to ask for another room. I did tell the staff and was shown where the air freshener was. I was constantly spraying in the room. I stayed here in October 2023 and was very happy which is why I came back. The room had wallpaper that was peeling also. It wasn’t the same

Great value. Big rooms , great location

Staff do not speak English
