Location
Air con not cold. Not recommended for us from tropical climate area.
Hotel room is in good condition, I like the anti slip floor in the shower. Lots of food nearby. Easy to get a taxi anytime.
Friendly staff, great gym
Property is new, clean and comfortable. I love that it’s right beside a big mall and there’s lots of eateries within walking distance as well.
Perhaps lack of the self service laundry facility.
Good location, very close to a shopping mall and lots of stores and eateries nearby. The hotel staff is well trained and they have a robot to deliver your delivery orders to your room. The swimming pool and gym are well equipped.
Needs better cleaning. I found mould in the minibar fridge.
Nice location
Wanda Realm Hotel is truly one of the most luxury hotels I've been to. The designs and decorations of this hotel reflects the culture and beauty of China. The lobby is quite impressive, the rooms are well established, wide apace and very clean. Location is close to historic city wall and river, and next to a big shopping mall (about 5 min walking distance), where you may find International Fast Food chains in addition to Chinese Restaurants. Hotel restaurants are mainly Chinese and you'll find it difficult to eat if you do not like Asian Food. Staff is quite nice, however, No English speakers! Internet service is terrible, and Google applications is not allowed in China. Smoking rooms are available. I highly recommend this hotel, and it will be my choice if I visit this city again.
The room was extremely hot. I request to lower the temperature on the 1sr day, but was told that they have central air was unable to manage any lower. I stayed for three nights, had to tolerate 25 *F=77 *C. It was horrible!
Thank you for your service.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. This hotel looks pretty new and well-maintained. The lobby is magnificent. The room is nicely decorated but a little small. It’s conveniently located close to the shopping and tourist attractions. But when we arrived and left, there was no one that helped us with the luggage. Another issue is that the temperature is centrally controlled and cannot be adjusted in the room.
We stayed at this hotel for a wedding. It was exceptional in every way. Check in was smooth and staff were friendly, courteous, and very accommodating. The building is very clean and well maintained. Even where you can see use of materials I.e.carpet, it is clean and in good repair. The room was wonderful. Great view of the river and the old wall area. Great walk in shower and plenty of hot water. Fridge was stocked and there was a coffee pot for hot tea or coffee. Tv worked well and was easy to use. Plenty of receptacles to power electronics. The included breakfast was unbelievable; eggs to order, bread and a traditional style western bfast or Chinese if you like. Lots of pastries. I would have expected to pay much more for this class of hotel.
I've become a big fan of the Wanda Realm hotels on this trip. There was much talk in my group of the long-awaited chance to actually have a soak in a real bath, denied to all of us on the road. And the Wanda Realm didn't disappoint, delivering the level of services we've come to expect from this chain in other cities. Next door to a shopping mall, so food and amenities were never an issue.
Lovely hotel, only a 5 minute walk from the east gate of the old town, on a main road so also easy to get a taxi. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was great, huge selection of food. Brilliant service.
I stayed in the hotel for almost 2 weeks Very good dining room ,nice swimming pool and The room are very comfortable A big mole is very close to the hotel Near the hotel you can visit the old city of Jingzhou a beautiful museum
The hotel is good by Jingzhou standards. Western breakfast is passable, and some hotel staff have reasonable English. What is not acceptable is that they take bookings, and payment, for Executive rooms with lounge access, but do not open the lounge. They sit a girl their who does not speak English, and who does a translation on her phone saying closed for special event. This happened on 2 consecutive nights on Sunday 28 & Monday 29 October. First night I went down to reception to complain and a manager told me that I could have drinks and snacks in the bar, on the house. OK, but if I had not complained then this would not have been offered. Second night, nothing. Conclusion, Wanda hotels are not worried about their reputation. If they wanted to close the lounge OK, but don't sell rooms with lounge access, and if that is too complicated, you tell the guest at check-in about it, and give them an "open ticket" to the bar. I visit Jingzhou 2 or 3 times a year and had been pleased to find a hotel with lounge. Now I know there still isn't one, so I shall stay at one of the equally acceptable alternatives that also do not offer an exec loungs.
We have just spent two nights in a stunning hotel just 10 minutes walk from Jingzhou ancient city walls. The rooms are large and very modern with a great walk in shower. The hotel also has a fantastic swimming pool and gym.The lovely buffet breakfast is included in the room rate,we paid £74 per night, great value for the quality of the hotel. There is also an excellent buffet in the evenings at 108 yuan including beers. There were very few non Chinese in the hotel and most of the staff spoke limited English. There was one very helpful and friendly English speaking guy called Sahara who studied in Birmingham for four years therefore spoke very good English, unfortunately he moves to another hotel in October. A lovely hotel, highly recommended.
The hotel was located in a central area of Jingzhou and you can see the old wall and the statue of Ganghou from the higher floors. Check in was smooth and my colleagues helped in translation from English to Chinese. The room was very plush and well appointed - could not fault it. Breakfast was lavish and service by the manager Steven Li was great as he made sure I get vegetarian food. Highly recommend.
飯店有浴缸並提供浴鹽,是我最喜歡的,早餐很棒,可惜沒辦法慢慢享用
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Satisfyed by everything. Friendly administrator with good English (as he said he lived in London), nice breakfasts, coffee OTG, clean room, etc. - what else one need to concentrate on business and not to worry about accomodation issues
This was the first time we stayed at this Hotel and we were more than impressed. We had made arrangements regarding room and inclusions before we traveled - especially as the stay was for 63 nights!!! We traveled with our 2 young children and wanted to make sure that the hotel offered good and safe accommodation, especially as my mother in law stayed with my wife during this time. The breakfast was included and the service received from the various hotel staff and hotel departments was absolutely fantastic - as such we would like to praise and mention the following staff for their more than expected level of service they provided us with: Jeff (Sales Manager) for arranging and organizing our room with the extra roll out bed, Angela Huang (CEO) for agreeing and negotiating the fantastic terms for our long stay and making this Hotel a "world class" hotel, Andy Lou (Chef) for preparing such fantastic food every day, including special meals and Room Service for our kids taste, Samantha (Executive Lounge Room Manager) for looking after us with all our requirements, especially with 2 young children, all of the Concierge's which did an amazing job by helping us with any matter - doesn't matter how big or small. We also like to thank all the House Keeping Staff which made our room look fantastic day in and day out, including all our laundry needs, etc. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH - we loved our stay and look forward coming back.
This hotel is a good one. It is the best in town, there being only two that would be tolerable to most westerners, depending on tastes. The other one, I have reviewed previously - and would not stay there again. The Wanda Realm I would willingly return to despite certain reservations. To be helpful to potential visitors to Jingzhou. The hotel is beautifully located - with easy access to the train station, within a few minutes' walk of the East Gate of the old city and adjacent to good shopping and eating places. Bedrooms are excellent - very comfortable and very well designed. Except perhaps for the unfortunate carpet colours - blue and grey which show every mark. And I doubt the hotel, even a Wanda hotel, can afford carpet shampooing each week. So the carpets are somewhat marked. A better choice of colour might have been more practical. Staff are very good in room maintenance and at the front desk. To be helpful to management. The big weakness from a western point of view is the breakfast room. I suppose it's fine for those seeking a Chinese breakfast but, for a westerner, it's a matter of finding where the western bits are. They're all there if you are patient and look but a slightly more efficient layout would be desirable. The breakfast room could do with better supervision and organization. The toaster toasts bread on only one side. Butter and jam are located elsewhere in the room. Day 1 - butter but no jam. Day 2 - neither butter nor jam. And bad luck if you don't like blueberry jam when it is eventually delivered. Day 1 - coffee machine ran out of beans in one container. Day 2 - coffee machine out of beans in both containers. Day 1 - juice and glasses. Day 2 - just juice. Days 1 and 2 - plates of only one size. There's something wrong somewhere in the supervision of this part of the hotel. However, if you are patient and search or ask for what is missing, you will end with a fine breakfast. Staff are not well trained in the breakast room. Day 1 - I had to go to 3 tables before I found a clean one. It is true that dirty plates are cleared but I do not expect to find rice and various drippings left by previous guests still present and unremoved from the table. The third table was OK. Day 2 was fine. The greatest weakness of the hotel is its clientele. Many 5 five-star hotels in China will tell you how they are 5 star but many of their clients are not. And so this is true of a few I encountered at the Jingzhou Realm on this trip. In fact, some were the worst I've encountered anywhere in China on any trip over many years. So be prepared. Day 2 - As I was eating, a gentleman sauntered past and behind my companion blew his nose between his fingers on the floor as is the Chinese farmer way. Five minutes later, the gentleman sitting opposite and two down from me, turned to one side and had two great noisy snorts (the nose held between the fingers and the fingers then wiped with such surface as may be convenient, usually the shirt or wrist) as he too evacuated his nose on to the hotel breakfast room floor. It is not a good look and does not go down well with breakfast. I protested loudly but the offender looked puzzled, wondering what on earth he could have done to evoke such a reaction. So, if you go to Jingzhou, this hotel is your best bet. Most of your stay will be very pleasing but do not be surprised if you are somewhat disappointed by the general presentation of the breakfast. As for the quaint hygiene habits of one or two of the guests, well, you must be philosophical. Many people these days have money but manners have not always caught up.
I arivaled in JINGZHOU on June 5th. Jingzhou is the third largest city in Hubei province ,just following Wuhan and Yichang. When I arrived at Wanda Realm Jingzhou. door man open my door with a big smile ,then he assisted me to Front Desk for checking in. Receptionist Carry and Cathy is very friendly and efficient. Room is bigger than Sheraton Chengdu. Breakfast is variety of choices. Great hotel in China.
As recommended by my friends, I stayed in Wanda Realm Hotel Jingzhou last whole week for a business call, and by the way attended one friend's wedding ceremony held there. The hotel is really beyond my expectation: the location is fantastic, 10 mins walk from the old wall (the city landmark), and less than 10 mins taxi drive from the train station (from Wuhan to Jingzhou now just only need 1h20min by train), the lobby is huge and elegantly decorated with local Chu Dynasty culture; the room is spacious with well-equipped facilities. What shocked me the most is the banquet ball room, Luxury and Large, can easily hold around 1000 guests at the same time (my friend's wedding has almost 90 round tables guests); the fitness center is my favorite, it has all state-of-the-art equipments and an indoor constant-temperature swimming pool. The last but not the least, the price is very very reasonable, I would definitely recommend you stay here if you travel Jingzhou.
Good location for this brand new hotel, just 15 minutes by walk from the old city wall. Service at the reception and groom is smily and efficient. It is less the case in the restaurant were the efficiency is lower. Breakfast is good even if not at the level of well known international 5 star hotels. The beer and barbecue festival is not recommended at all. Even if the price looks attractive the quality is not there at all. Cherry on the cake, the barbecue is not charcoal but gas... Last but not least the rooms. They are very large, comfortable and very well equipped. A reference for this price level.
This was my first business trip to Jingzhou. The company I was visiting recommended the Wanda for my week long stay. The lobby was massive and elegant. The rooms were spotless and much larger than I expected. The staff was top notch. Every staff member I came into contact with acknowledged me and asked me how I was doing. I only at breakfast at the hotel. There was plenty of choices and everything I had was very tasty. I received a corporate discount for the week days but expected the cost to be two or three times more than it was. I highly recommend this hotel if you are ever in Jingzhou, China.
Travelled there with a couple coworkers. Everything is great! Room is spacious and hotel reataurants good. Very close to the high speed train station. The hotel stuff are very helpful and hotel limo service is easy to use. And it's very ckose to the Eastern Gate of acient city wall, very nice running trail there!
Luxurious business hotel, big, spacious rooms. Very well equipped. Very nice bathroom with big bathtub and also a shower corner. Big and comfortable beds. Hotel staff very helpful with sufficient knowledge of English. Breakfast selection was supreme- mixture of all styles. Hotel pool and gym also very good Right next to shoping mall, kind of "historical" centre is very near from hotel. Wifi is really slow, but thats China thing, not this hotel problem. Rooms looks luxury, but quality of workmanship is really poor, you can see it in bathroom especially, or on desk in your room. I would really recommend, hotel is not very expensive and provides luxury feeling.
